Using PCR, the rate of PCV1 infection of 105 farms which were requested of diagnosis of disease is positive in 75(71.4%) farms and 78(74.3%) farms were positive in PCV2, and compositive infections of PCV1 and PCV2 were 75(71.4%) farms. 3. According to age of requested pig, the frequency of PCV infection rate was following, the pig under 4 weeks of age were 28.6% in PCV1 and PCV2, respectively, and the pig of 4-7 weeks of age were 58.6% in PCV1 and PCV2, respectively. The pig of 8-11 weeks of age were 73.1% in PCVl and 74.6% in PCV2, the pig of 12-18 weeks of age were 80.9% in PCV1 and 88.1% in PCV2. 4. • The computerized prospective Drug Utilization Review (DUR) program supported by the Korean government has provided alerts to physicians and pharmacists since December 2010. This study aims to propose and apply the tiering system in "drug combinations to avoid (DCA)" and "age-precaution" alerts based on severity to improve the compliance of users. To propose the severity and clinical importance of 647 DCA alerts and 140 age precautions, a Delphi evaluation survey was conducted. An expert panel comprising 5 clinical pharmacists and 5 physicians were participated in mail surveys. Based on the results of Delphi survey, DCA pairs were classified into 3 groups; group 1 (70.6%), 2 (26.9%), and 3 (2.8%). Drug-age precaution ingredients were also classified into three groups; group 1 (53.6%), group 2 (40.7%), and group 3 (5.7%). When this grouping was applied to claim data from 2011 to 2013, the majority of alerts had occurred in the groups of high severity. Presenting DUR alerts with severity level is expected to improve the compliance of clinicians. The implementation of tiering system in DUR criteria should be considered.

  • Various government-based consulting techniques are being adapted to increase competitive power and to achieve management innovation of Korean farms. These business consulting services are offered by free or paid consulting. This study focuses on what socio-economic characteristics are affecting farmers' intension of adapting consulting services, based on 169 surveyed data from Chunchungnam-do. Logit Model is used to identify the relationship between the probability of consulting intent and factors representing farm characteristics. The model was applied on each of free and paid consulting. According to the results, degree of consulting recognition, age, education, raised crop are significant factors affecting farmers' intension of adapting consulting service in the case of free consulting at 10% of significance level. In the case of paid consulting, level of farming, age, income, insufficiency of farming, and education were identified as significant factors. In terms of elasticity of each variable, most variables for free consulting service are inelastic to consulting intent, whereas age, level of farming, and education are elastic for paid consulting service. Overall results implies that more public relations are required to activate free consulting services for the farms with moderate level of farming. In the case of paid consulting, it is effective to adapt consulting services for younger farms with higher level of farming and education.

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of the Top Management Team (TMT) on organizational performance. We verified whether the age heterogeneity, job heterogeneity (core career, core function and major), and process (communication and integration) of the TMT affect organizational performance (management performance and healthcare service quality evaluation level). We collected data about 473 members of the 2006 TMT in 81 medical institutions. We also utilized statistics of organizational performance from the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs and the Korean Institute of Hospital Management. Results of the study showed that the age heterogeneity of TMT exerted a negative effect on the healthcare service quality evaluation level, while the process exerted a positive effect. However, the age heterogeneity, job heterogeneity, and process had no influence on management performance. We discussed the implications of such outcome of the investigation in comparison with the former studies on TMT and organizational performance, and presented its restrictions and future plans.

  • Due to the development of network and device, it is called mobile age that boosts various distribution routes of multi-media content and it constructs a new digital content consumption trend. N-screen is one of the new-introduced examples in the digital age and broadcasting industry believes it as a crisis and challenge as well. It becomes a ubiquitous multi-media environment that people watch multi-media content everywhere and any time they want to and competition happens beyond the boundaries such as network industry, terminal industry, pay TV market, traditional terrestrial TV, etc. And then how should the broadcasting service prepare for the N-screen business? The present research proposes a few terrestial broadcasting content strategies in the multi platform environment. First, instead of N-screen, it proposes multi platform, especially One Source Multi Platform(OSMP). Second, so-called 'Integrated Terrestrial Broadcasting OSMP Alliance(IBPA)' must be founded. Third, IBPA should support multi-tasking UX for viewers to have rich experience. Last, it becomes more important and necessary to support local terrestrial broadcasting service for public service in the multi platform age.

  • Due to development of smart and network technologies, social network service (SNS) has become popular in daily life. With increasing use of SNS, the scope of communication has been widened. Lots of activities can be easily shared daily on SNS. Differing with opinions about more activated communication on SNSs, some people have viewpoints that, in some cases, communications may be decreased among SNS users. This research is to investigate whether there may be the differences among generations in the social network age. Major concerns of study are as follows. First, there may be differences in age related to the decrease of communication activities. On the other hand, there may be differences among generations related to the increase of communication. Two research steps have been adopted that the FGI (focus group interview) was to understand. Defining actual communication status was the first step, and an empirical approach, a survey to verify hypotheses, was performed as the second step. Key findings of the study were that older generations perceived communication has been decreased. Research results can provide implications regarding characteristics of SNS communication.

  • Paramedics are highly likely to be exposed to high levels of stress and emotional exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion arises from excessive workload and sustained tension, negatively impacting not only individual mental health but also job performance. This study aims to investigate the level of emotional exhaustion among paramedics. A survey was conducted among fire officials across various regions in South Korea, analyzing the degree of emotional exhaustion by gender, age, years of service, and position. The analysis revealed statistically significant differences in emotional exhaustion based on age, years of service, and position among fire officials, with paramedics showing higher levels of emotional exhaustion compared to rescue, fire suppression, and internal administrative positions. Notably, younger age groups, shorter years of service, and paramedic positions were associated with higher levels of emotional exhaustion. This study contributes to assessing the level of emotional exhaustion among paramedics and exploring specific measures for mental health recovery, ultimately aiming to improve work efficiency and enhance the quality of emergency medical services. Future research should focus on developing concrete support systems and stress management programs to continuously monitor and improve the mental health of paramedics.
