유비쿼터스 홈네트워크를 위한 LonRF 디바이스 기반의 센서 네트워크 설계 및 응용 (Design and Application of a LonRF Device based Sensor Network for an Ubiquitous Home Network)

  • 유비쿼터스 홈네트워크 ( uHome-net) 구현을 위해서는 다양한 센서들이 통합된 유무선 센서 네트워크에 연결될 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 제어 네트워크에 널리 사용되고 있는 LonWorks 기술을 uHome-net의 유무선 센서 네트워크에 적용한 사례를 소개하고, LonTalk 프로토콜이 탑재된 뉴런칩, 433.92MHz RF 트랜시버, 센서와 응용 프로그램으로 구성되는 LonRF 디바이스의 설계 및 응용 서비스 구현 결과를 설명한다. LonRF 디바이스의 응용 예로 실내에서 물체의 3차원 좌표를 측정할 수 있고 uHome-net과 연동되는 LonRF 스마트배지를 개발하였다. LonRF 디바이스 기반의 위치인식 서비스, 원격검침서비스, 원격경비서비스 등의 홈네트워크 서비스를 uHome-net 테스트베드에 구현하였다. 본 연구는 LonWorks 기술 기반의 센서 네트워크가 유비쿼터스 홈네트워크의 제어 네트워크로 적용할 수 있고, 개발된 LonRF 디바이스가 센서 네트워크의 무선 노드로 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 관절 각도계를 사용하여 관절가동범위의 측정하던 것을 각도계를 사용하지 않고 플렉서블 센서를 이용하여 측정하고 측정된 값을 스마트 디바이스와 연동하여 실시간 모니터링이 가능하게 하였다. 현재의 관절가동 범위 측정은 관절 각도기를 활용하여 사람이 직접 측정하고 있다. 이러한 방법은 측정하는 사람의 측정 방법과 위치에 따른 오류로 일관성 있는 측정이 어려워 오차가 발생할 수 있다. 그래서 측정해야 할 관절에 센서를 부착하여 관절의 운동 범위를 측정하였다. 측정을 위한 센서는 플랙서블 형태로 관절의 움직임에 따라 변화되는 저항 값을 측정하는 센서로서 센싱 된 값을 ROM 센서노드를 통하여 무선으로 스마트 디바이스로 전송될 수 있도록 하였다. 개발 된 ROM 측정 장치는 일반적인 관절 각도기를 활용한 측정보다 일관성 있는 측정이 이루어 질 수 있고 스마트 디바이스와 연동하여 실시간 모니터링 함으로써 관절의 움직임에 따른 신속한 진단으로 환자의 빠른 치료와 재활의료 발전에 도움이 될 것이다.

복굴절이 큰 광섬유에 제작된 장주기 광섬유 격자를 이용한 광섬유 전류 센서 (Fiber-optic Ccurrent Sensor Using a Long-period Fiber Grating Inscribed on a High Birefringent Fiber)

  • Based on Faraday effect, the variation of current flowing through the conductor can be encoded as that of azimuth angle of light polarization propagating through the fiber coil wound onto the conductor. The amount of current can be obtained by measuring the variation of the light intensity transformed from that of the azimuth angle through a polarization analyzer. In this paper we propose a fiber-optic current sensor system that employs a fiber polarization analyzer as a sensor interrogation device. The fiber polarization analyzer was prepared by inscribing a long-period fiber grating on a high birefringent fiber. At the fixed wavelength of 1522.5 nm, the fabricated fiber device has the polarization extinction ratio of more than 25 dB. The measurement of large current up to 600 Arms was accomplished based on a simple fiber interrogation device and the measurement output of the sensor system showed a good linearity.

Failure Detection Filter for the Sensor and Actuator Failure in the Auto-Pilot System

  • Auto-Pilot System uses heading angle information via the position sensor and the rudder device to control the ship's direction. Most of the control logics are composed of the state estimation and control algorithms assuming that the measurement device and the actuator have no fault except the measurement noise. But such asumptions could bring the danger in real situation. For example, if the heading angle measuring device is out of order the control action based on those false position information could bring serious safety problem. In this study, the control system including improved method for processing the position information is applied to the Auto-Pilot System. To show the difference between general state estimator and F.D.F., BJDFs for the sensor and the actuator failure detection are designed and the performance are tested. And it is shown that bias error in sensor could be detected by state-augmented estimator. So the residual confined in the 2-dimension in the presence of the sensor failure could be unidirectional in output space and bias sensor error is much easier to be detected.

  • 어선의 안전을 실시간으로 모니터링하고 위험요소가 발생했을 경우에 사용자에게 이를 경보하고 통보해줄 수 있는 장치에 대한 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 위험요소를 감지하는 다기능 센서를 사용하기 위해서 임베디드 모듈에서는 Device driver와 Application program을 구현해야 하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 Device driver와 Application program의 구현 없이 다기능 센서의 입출력 데이터를 관리 및 처리하기 위해서 PIC18F를 이용하여 센서부의 하드웨어 설계 및 제어프로그램 구현을 하였다. 센서의 동작에 따라 데이터를 출력하는 동작 확인을 통하여 성능검증을 하였다.

  • As time goes by, ultrasonic wave is getting important and new technology, which is adapted to ultrasonic wave is used to industry such as home appliance, automobile, and high-tech industry. Especially, ultrasonic wave is used an alarm device whether there are things at the rear of I. It's do important device in automobile system because it can prevent car-accident from inattention of the driver. Actually, there has already been lots of the alarm device. But it's expensive and so difficult to set the device. So almost driver don't set device at their automobile. We focus on these problems. We want to make cheap md easy setting device. Ultrasonic wave sensor emits Ultrasonic-signal at outgoing part and receive part accept the signal. Sensor analyzes the signal and Distance is displayed on LCD of device. The device makes alarm if distance is near from something of rear. The device makes break-system operate to prevent drivers from crashing if distance is so near. This device is portable. So normal deriver can set it easily.

Walking Pattern Analysis Using an Acceleration Sensor Device

  • In this paper, a device to analyze gait pattern was developed by using a 2-axis acceleration sensor attached to the foot. The 1st low-pass filter was adapted to limit the frequency band up to 5 Hz. An algorithm to detect the peak value exceeding the threshold voltage of an X-axis acceleration sensor and a Z-axis acceleration sensor was developed and normal and abnormal walking patterns were thus differentiated. Also, MCU and Bluetooth were combined to transfer the data to other MCUs to display on an LCD; the size of the device could then be reduced. The new algorithm and the device allowed the individual walking patterns to be easily measured at a low cost and with less restriction on activities compared to conventional multiple pressure sensors or motion camera system.

  • This paper shows an effective scanning trajectory for a mine detection device that is one of the mission equipments of unmanned ground vehicle. The mine detection device is composed of a mine-detection sensor, and a 4 DOF manipulator enabling sensor position control. There are three modes that manage the mine detection device: passive, semi-automatic, and automatic. The automatic mode is used the most. This paper suggests a scanning method that makes shape of 8. This method prevents missing target area and enhances scanning speed when the mine detection device scans the ground surface in automatic mode. The suggested method is verified by simulations and experiments.

  • A surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor for the detection of odorants has been constructed by depositing various phospholipids and fatty acids onto the surface of the SAW device. The characteristics of a SAW device operating at 310 MHz deposited with silicon monoxide were analyzed. Menthone, amylacetate, acetoin, and other organic gases show different affinities to the coated lipids. An explanation is given for different odorant affinities based on the monolayer properties of phospholipids. The identification of odorants depending on the tkpe of lipid used for coating is discussed in terms of the similarity of their normalized resonant frequency shift patterns. Using a number of different lipid-coated SAW devices, odorants can be identified by a computerized pattern recognition algorithm.

주름구조를 적용한 저속 유속 센서 (Air Flow Sensor with Corrugation Structure for Low Air Velocity Detection)

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated the novel air flow sensor using air drag force, which can be applied to the low air flow detection. To measure the low air flow, we should enlarge the air drag force and the output signal at the given air flow. The paddle structure is applied to the device, and the device is vertically located against the air flow to magnify the air drag force. We also adapt the corrugation structure to improve the output signals on the given air velocity. The device structure is made up of the silicon nitride layer and the output signal is measured with the piezoresistive layer. The output signals from the corrugated device show the better measurement sensitivity and the response time than that of flat one. The repeated measurement also shows the stabilized signals.
