A new algorithm for speech signal segmentation is proposed. This algorithm is based on finding successive similar frames belonging to a segment and represents it by an average spectrum. The speech signal is a slowly time varying signal in the sense that, when examined over a sufficiently short period of time (between 10 and 100 ms), its characteristics are fairly stationary. Generally this approach is based on finding these fairly stationary periods. Advantages of the. algorithm are accurate border decision of segments and simple computation. The automatic segmentations using frame averaging show as much as $82.20\%$ coincided with manually verified segmentation of CMU ARCTIC corpus within time range 16 ms. More than $90\%$ segment boundaries are coincided within a range of 32 ms. Also it can be combined with many types of automatic segmentations (HMM based, acoustic cues or feature based etc.).
The mumps virus is a single-stranded, non-segmented, negative-sense RNA virus belonging to the $Paramyxoviridae$ family. Mumps is characterized by bilateral or unilateral swelling of the parotid gland. Aseptic meningitis is a common complication, and orchitis is also common in adolescents and adult men. Diagnosis is based on clinical findings, but because of high vaccination coverage, clinical findings alone are not sufficient for diagnosis, and laboratory confirmation is needed. Mumps is preventable by vaccination, but despite high vaccination coverage, epidemics occur in several countries, including Korea. Many hypotheses are suggested for these phenomena. In this review, we investigate the reason for the epidemics, optimal methods of diagnosis, and surveillance of immunization status for the prevention of future epidemics.

The aim of the current study was to suggest priorities needed to be considered by university instructors when designing online learning. Based on three types of interactions (learner-content, learner-instructor, and learner-learner interactions) for effective online learning (Moore, 1989), draft questionnaires representing each type of interaction were written. After examining content validity by two Ph.D. experts, the survey was constructed with an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) form. Data of 133 university instructors were collected online. Results showed that support for designing learner-learner interaction was the priority for improving online learning. In terms of learner-instructor interaction, instructors needed to provide social-emotional support to learners so that learners could have a sense of belonging. For learner-instructor interaction, supporting instructors to monitor the level of understanding was the most highly demanding strategy for online learning. Limitations and suggestions for further studies were discussed.
The after-school self-esteem program developed for this study consisted of 53 40-minute sessions; its goal was to instill a sense of self-reliance, belonging to society, self-worth, self-control, independence, responsibility, and respect. The program was administered to 32 first, second and third grade elementary school children from April 2002 to September 2002. The data were analyzed by frequency, mean, and paired t-test, using the SAS program package. Results showed significant before and after differences in the degree of self-esteem among the participants in the after-school self-esteem program.
Purpose .This study aims to assess the influence factors on the level of satisfaction with hospital training and to provide basic data for more efficient hospital practice of students' public health administration . Methods . We have conducted a survey on students satisfaction with their hands on practice against 200 students in Busan, Kyeongnam and Kyungbook area, who have completed their practice in public health administration. We have identified the general characteristics of the target respondents, the current training status of the department for the hospital practice and training venue; also analyzed the characteristics composed of the apprentice student's attitude before the practice, satisfaction with the department training program and hospital for practice, as well as their practice at hospital. The general characteristics of the target respondents and clinic practice status at the hospital were measured in percentage and frequency analysis; the average and standard deviations of hospital size were also measured; and the correlations between satisfaction with the department, attitude towards the practice and satisfaction with the hospital were analyzed. Results . Most public health administration students experienced their practice at the hospital after the first semester on the $2^{nd}$year and they have received the foundation training for the practice. The survey allowed multiple responses and the results are as follows: medical terminology 49.5%, medical coordinator 36.7%, Hospital administration 26.5%, Health insurance 17.3%, and medical recording and practice 13.8% respectively. In terms of each individual student's attitude towards the practice at the hospital, the respondents answered as follows: I have completed the obligatory subjects for the practice before the practice 89.5%; I have been fully informed on the hospital for my practice. 74.5%; I responsibly practiced and worked with professionalism and sense of belonging to the hospital as a member of staff 90%; I have actively learned and adopted 95%; My knowledge and skills from the practice was relevant to the theory and practice from my course 83.5%. The findings of satisfaction by size of hospital were in order of a small clinic($3.24{\pm}0.63$), medium sized clinic($3.27{\pm}0.65$), hospital ($3.20{\pm}0.61$), and large sized comprehensive hospital ($2.93{\pm}0.74$). Consequently the satisfaction rate shows no significant difference by size of hospital. In relations between practice attitude and satisfaction with subject, the matter of acquiring information and fully understanding of the hospital for practice before practice(p=0.04), the matter of a sense of belonging and responsibility at hospital during practice(p=0.33). the matter of active adaptation attitude during practice (p=0.42), and the matter of correlations with school curriculum during practice(p=0.00) showed significant results. In relations between practice attitude and satisfaction with the hospital for practice, the matter of acquiring information and fully understanding of the hospital for practice before practice(p=0.01), the matter of a sense of belonging and responsibility at hospital during practice(p=0.04), and the matter of correlations with school curriculum during practice(p=0.00) showed significant results. Conclusion . The most essential subject for the practice in public health administration is medical terminology and there is no significance in satisfaction with the practice by size of hospital. Students were content with the hospital where they can experience as much as possible. Students content with their major show positive attitude towards the practice and so do those content with the hospital. Those with the positive attitude towards the practice show the high correlation of satisfaction with both the major and hospital. As a result, the satisfaction with the major is the significant attribute to the practice in the hospital.
This paper analyzed the ways in which "others" were reproduced in Korean movies in the 1970s. In the midst of the social changes of the era, such as urbanization due to rapid industrial modernization, many people became laborers for industry in order to obtain the fruits of modernization.But the landscape of others, which was inevitably produced in the process of constructing such subjects, has been limited to analysis that is focused on gender and youth discourse. This article aims to extract the landscape of others in the 1970s by adopting a different perspective. The way in which the other is present can be divided into the following two categories. First, in 1970s film, the family community, in contrast with 1960s film, has disintegrated and cracked, due to the inability of others to enter or leave the community. The desperate perception that the family community can no longer function as a stable foundation or center of the constitution, and that it cannot have a sense of security and belonging,is revealed through the way the others are wandering in and out of the community. Second, 'Death' is an element of social life in the violence of the national ideology of the 1970s, and the everyday exceptional state. The way in which the 'other' is completely eliminated from the normal subjectivity requested by the state and is deported in film reflectshow everyday death or potential death is part of life of the 1970s. Normal life pursued through rapid urbanization and industrialization leads to the death of the other beings, but the way of existence of others is the desperate reality of the 1970s, when the boundaries of the state that provide stability and belonging are broken. As a result, the landscape of others in the 1970s reveals a violent reality that destroys the perfect middle class family discourse that industrial modernization was oriented around in the 1970s, and that produced masses of others who caused numerous deaths. In spite of regime censorship, Korean films were popularly revealing the violence of life brought in by the 1970s, following a detour of representation.
In this study, 62 questionnaires were surveyed from November 3 to November 25, 2016 for workers who received more than one skill improvement training at Korea Polytechnic University. Factor analysis was done by removing 11 items out of 27 items and using the final 16 items, five factors were derived and the validity was confirmed with significance probability p = .000. Durbin-Watson values were 1.787 and 1.780, respectively. The results of this study were as follows: First, the effects of skill enhancement training on job attitude of Korea Polytechnic University were found as follows. First, the effects on job satisfaction were consistency of contents (p <.05, ${\beta}=.434$) (P <.05, p = .328), and the sense of belonging was significant (p <.05, p = .338). Second, the correlation between the skill improvement training and the turnover attitude shows that the efficiency of method - job satisfaction (.311), efficiency of method - clarity of purpose (.350), efficiency of method - suitability of content (.771) - content fit (.467), job satisfaction - content fit (.191), but the sense of belonging was not correlated. Third, the results of the difference in perception of turnover attitude according to years of service of technical improvement training at Korea Polytechnic University did not have a statistically significant effect. In this study, it is meaningful to investigate the effect of the skill improvement training on the attitude of turnover and its effectiveness.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting job burnout by analyzing the job burnout patterns and levels in teacher librarians and to empirically investigate the relationship among the effective factors. For qualitative research 17 teacher librarians were intentionally chosen and in-depth interview was conducted from September 5, 2018 to October 30, 2018. The in-depth interview shows that the factors affecting the job burnout of teacher librarians are the sense of belonging, professional identity, professional development opportunities, reputation of teacher librarians, social support and job engagement which defined as librarians' job specificity. For the reliability and validity of the measurement tools, six teacher librarians were primarily investigated from December 5, 2018 to December 7. After that a survey was carried out through the web questionnaire for two weeks from December 20, 2018 to January 3, 2019. A total of 305 copies were collected, all of which were used for the analysis. The results of the quantitative study are summarized as follows. First, concerning the job specificity of teacher librarians, the factors affecting job burnout were professional identity, reputation of teacher librarians, and social support. Second, concerning the job specificity of teacher librarians, the factors affecting job engagement were sense of belonging, professional identity, and social support. Third, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of job engagement in relation to job specificity and job burnout of teacher librarians, professional identity showed complete mediating effect and social support showed partial mediation effect.

The principal objective of this study was to analyze Swede's perceptions of Asian food using a means-end chain method, which may contribute to our understanding of new markets for a food industry interested in globalizing Korean food. With the Means-end chain method, one can determine the cognitive structures built in consumer's minds, which are developed by connecting attributes of product, consequences, and values. The attributes of Asian food that are most positively perceived by Swedes are 'fresh vegetables', 'low-fat', 'light meat and seafood', 'exotic ingredients', 'not expensive' and 'unknown food'. The consequences of eating Asian food connected to these attributes are 'healthy', 'tasty', 'good way to save money' and 'curious'. Finally, Swedes expect to enjoy a value of 'achievement' at the end. Based on the result that 'unknown food' attribute is connected to 'achievement' value, Swedes are assumed to be attracted by the fact that Korean food is 'unknown food'. However, the effect of the 'unknown food' attribute will fade away with time; therefore, stressing Korean food's status as a 'healthy' food, which can be attributed to its use of 'fresh vegetable' and 'light meat and seafood' ingredients and 'low fat' cooking method may be effective as a long-term strategy for making Korean food attractive. The 'healthy' consequence is connected to Swedes' perception of the value 'achievement' and simultaneously to their perception of the value 'belonging and love/sense of belonging'.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of factors analyes the associated by the dental treatment fear of level dental hygiene and non-dental hygiene students, and then to provide basic material which can help to improveoral health and effective dental treatment. Methods : The subject in this study were 275 students in Jeolla region. The data were collected from March through April 2010, by way of the self-reported questionnaire. Results : 1. Subjects, who correspond to 'high fear level' which is more than 60 points in the scale of Dental Fear Survey, were indicated to be larger in collegians of general-related departments(38.9%) than collegians of health-related department(36.3%).2. Among three detailed factors, the treatment-stimulator response factor showed the higher fear sense than other 2 factors. In the physiological response, 'muscular tension' was 2.72 points, there by having been indicated to be the highest.3. The more belonging to the group with high fear was indicated to lead to the more in direct pain experience, in non-anesthesia pain experience, and in indirect pain experience through brothers and sisters. Even the symptom and syndrome in oral disease were indicated to be much. 4. As a result of comparing difference in dental fear level depending on pain experience, it was indicated that the more belonging to the group with high fear leads to the more in direct pain experience, in non-anesthesia pain experience, and in indirect pain experience through brothers and sisters. Conclusions : Dental fear must be controlled carefully in order to promote oral health and effective dental treatment.
