Employee Performance Optimization Through Transformational Leadership, Procedural Justice, and Training: The Role of Self-Efficacy

  • This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership (TL), procedural justice (PJ), and training (T) on employee performance (EP) mediated by self-efficacy (SE). The object of this research is Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) M.Th. Djaman, a hospital in Sanggau Regency, while the subjects are the institution's staff. Data collection search uses purposive sampling with a total of 120 samples. Data are obtained through questionnaires distributed directly to respondents using the Google Form application. Data analysis techniques used in this study include standard error of mean (SEM) with AMOS software version 24.00. Methods use to test validity and reliability of data include Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Construct Reliability (CR) and VE. The results of the analysis show that only training has a significant effect on self-efficacy, and self-efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance. Also, self-efficacy is proven to mediate the role of training on employee performance; the other hypotheses are not significant. Training is the most prominent positive factor affecting self-efficacy and self-efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance at RSUD M.Th. Djaman. The results of this study can be used as a reference by management in determining what policy priorities should take precedence.

Effects of a Face-to-face Self-management Program on Knowledge, Self-care Practice and Kidney Function in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease before the Renal Replacement Therapy

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a face-to-face self-management educational program on knowledge, self-care practice and kidney function in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) before kidney replacement therapy. Methods: This study employed a nonequivalent control group, non-synchronized design. Data were collected from 61 patients with CKD visiting an outpatient department of nephrology in a university hospital in Seoul, South Korea. The experimental group (n=31) took the pre-test, then after 3 weeks, face-to-face education and individualized consultation (1st intervention), after a week of self-practice, the 1st post-test, followed by re-enforcement education and consultation (2nd intervention), and 4 weeks later, the 2nd post-test. The control group (n=30) took the pre-test and post-tests at 4 and 8 weeks. Results: Scores for knowledge of CKD and self-care practice over time improved significantly in the experimental group compared to the control group. Kidney function did not improve significantly in the experimental group. Conclusion: Health care providers can identify various and individualized needs, and provide effective education and consultation through face to face self-management for patients with chronic irreversible illnesses. Nurses can coordinate for these program by designing and providing systematic and effective education.

자가관리 프로그램이 성공적 노후에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Self-Management Program on Successful Aging)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge of successful aging for the Korean elderly and to identify the effects of an intervention program on the change of the knowledge Method: Data were collected from 134 elders from 3 schools for the elderly in H City. The Successful Aging Scale was used to collect data and modified CDSMP was applied as the intervention. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and ANCOVA were used. Results : The total score of the knowledge of successful aging among the elderly cohort was 2.44 out of 3, and the scores of the factors making up old age were 2.66 for the success of children, 2.63 for self-control, 2.56 for self-efficacy, and 2.05 for happy marriage. Life satisfaction from the success of children and self-control were strongly correlated(r=0.7036, p=0.000). Conclusion: The self-management program brought positive changes to the knowledge of successful aging through the self-control parameter, and although it could not change the degree of knowledge of the overall successful aging among the elderly cohort, the program represents the first Korean nursing intervention focused on self-management techniques needed for successful aging.

청년층의 창업교육 인지도가 셀프리더십 전략수준에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Youth perceived importance of Entrepreneurship Education on the self-leadership strategy)

  • 본 연구는 대학 청년층의 창업교육 구성내용에 대한 인지된 중요도가 개인의 내재적 자기효능감과 내적 자기조절, 자기보상의 셀프리더십 전략 수준에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 창업교육 개념에 대한 인지된 중요도는 셀프리더십 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한 반면, 창업교육의 창의성에 대한 인지된 중요도는 행동중심적 셀프리더십, 자연보상적 셀프리더십, 건설적 사유 셀프리더십 전략 모두 정(+)의 영향을 주었다. 창업교육 경영에 대한 인지된 중요도는 자연보상적 셀프리더십에 통계적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 행동주의적 셀프리더십, 건설적 사유 셀프리더십에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 창업교육 특허에 대한 인지된 중요도는 행동중심적, 건설적 사유 셀프리더십에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 발명교육의 경영, 창의성, 특허와 같은 실제 창업내용을 중요하게 인지하는 청년층들이 자기통제와 긍정적 자기보상의 셀프리더십 수준이 높음을 알 수 있었다.

만성폐쇄성폐질환 환자의 의료정보 문해력, COPD 관련 건강문해력 및 자가관리 이행 정도와의 관계 (Relationship between Health Literacy and Self-Management Adherence in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

  • 본 연구는 COPD 환자를 대상으로 보편적 건강문해력인 의료정보 문해력, COPD 특이 건강문해력인 COPD 관련 건강문해력 및 자가관리 이행 정도를 확인하고, 의료정보 문해력, COPD 관련 건강문해력과 자가관리 이행 정도와의 상관관계를 파악하였다. COPD 환자의 의료정보 문해력은 60.45±9.42점으로 중학교 1~2학년 수준이었고 COPD 관련 건강문해력이 의료정보 문해력보다 평균 점수가 낮았다. COPD 관련 건강문해력과 자가관리 이행 정도는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. COPD 환자를 간호하는 간호사는 대상자의 건강문해력을 정확히 이해하고 의사소통하는 것이 필요하다고 생각된다. COPD 관련 건강문해력 증진이 자가관리 이행을 높일 수 있으므로 건강정보를 제공하거나 교육 시 COPD의 건강문해력을 증진시킬 수 있는 전략 개발이 필요하다.

  • PMIS (Project Management Information System) has been applied in the R4-PROJECT This construction project has been controlled and managed by PMIS for the whole process of project. Moreover, this PMIS is updated to the Self-regulation System for Quality and Safety Management which is integrated and developed from PMIS in R4-PROJECT. So, The Self-regulation System for Quality and Safety Management has been delivering effective communication and information distribution with various stakeholders related to project and also brought the achievement of efficient construction management. As the system is successfully utilize, the satisfaction of costumer request and the performance of no accident for 550 million hours could be attained.

자기주도학습과 이러닝 학습환경 만족 : 자기조절효능감에 의한 비교분석 (Self-Directed Learning and e-Learning Environment Satisfaction : Comparison Analysis by Self-Regulated Efficacy)

  • While e-learners' satisfaction would be determined by qualify of e-learning environment including learning management systems, learning contents and interactions, the influence of quality on satisfaction can be changed by e-learners' self-regulated efficacy The objective of this study is to show difference of the relationship between qualify and satisfaction In e-learning by self-regulated efficacy. For this purpose, we propose a research model which consists of five quality factors in e-learning as explaining variables, satisfaction as a result variable and self-regulated efficacy as a control variable. For empirical test of this model, the sample is collected from e-learning classes in a college and divided into two groups by self-regulated efficacy in order to analyze the effects of control variable. By multi-group analysis, we show two groups are different from each other in the relationship between quality and satisfaction of e-learning environment.

소셜네트워크서비스에서 집합적 효능감이 이용자들의 자기노출에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Collective Efficacy on Self-Disclosure in Social Network Services)

  • With the development of information technology, social network services (SNS) such as Facebook and Twitter became popular and many users disclose their personal and sensitive information like private story, photographs and location information through posting and sharing. Despite the privacy concerns in SNSs, individuals continue to disclose their identity online. This phenomenon is called 'privacy paradox'. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of collective efficacy on self-disclosure in SNS context and to explain privacy paradox phenomenon. Drawing upon the communication privacy management theory, research model was developed and empirically tested with cross-sectional data from 306 individuals. Results revealed that collective efficacy has a direct positive effect on self-disclosure while privacy risk is negatively related to self-disclosure. However, privacy concern is not directly related to self-disclosure. The relationship between privacy concern and self-disclosure was moderated by collective efficacy.

성공적인 m-Learning 구현을 위한 핵심 요인에 대한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Critical Factors for Successful m-Learning Implementation)

  • This study defined the notion of general idea on m-learning as based upon e-Learning and mobile internet related literature review and identified the m-Learning distinctive features. Also, this study has searched for factors that are expected to influence the use intended for m-Learning from self-regulated learning, which is acknowledged to be a useful method for learning accomplishment in education field, in order to measure the relationship between learners' motivation and use intention. Then it has empirically validated the conceptual model based on Davis' TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) As a result, self-efficacy, self-determination, interest, contents quality, time management, help seeking, and Peer study are factors affecting Perceived usefulness. Also self-efficacy, self-determination, interest, contents qualify, time management, and peer study are factors affecting perceived ease of use. Finally both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are significant factors affecting use intention.

The Effect of Social Capital on Social Entrepreneurial Intention among Vietnamese Students

  • This study develops the model to estimate the links between social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial intention. Besides exploring the direct impacts of social capital, social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and perceived desirability on social entrepreneurial intention, this study also focus on discovering the mediating roles of perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy on this relationship. Throughout adopting measures from some previous studies, the authors design the questionnaires and distribute to students in Vietnam. The study presents some demographic information of 289 students, who are studying at university and colleges in Vietnam. Then, the validity and reliability of scales are assessed using the value of Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). In addition, by utilizing the structural modeling structure (SEM), the authors show that social capital plays the important role in shaping social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, perceived desirability, and social entrepreneurial intention. Interestingly, besides the direct effects on social entrepreneurial intention, perceived desirability and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy also mediate the correlation between social capital and social entrepreneurial intention. Also, with the interesting findings of the study, the authors propose several recommendations for policy-makers, educators and academics to promote the social entrepreneurship and innovation among Vietnamese students.
