요양병원 간호사의 셀프리더십이 간호업무수행과 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 (Nursing Performance and Innovative Behavior as Factors Affecting the Self-leadership of Geriatric Hospital Nurses)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to identify the effects of nursing performance and innovative behavior on the self-leadership of geriatric hospital nurses. Methods : The participants in this study were 206 nurses working in geriatric hospitals in Busan, Ulsan and Yangsan City. Data were collected from October to November, 2015. A structured questionnaire was used for the data collection, and the data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN program. Results : Nursing performance and innovative behavior positively correlated with self-leadership. The most significant predictors of self-leadership were nursing performance and innovative behavior. Conclusions : These findings suggest that nursing performance and innovative behavior were linked to self-leadership. The results of this study can be used to help develop self-leadership programs.

과학영재와 일반학생의 리더십 생활기술, 사회적 능력 및 자기조절능력 분석 (The Relationship between Leadership Life Skills, Social Competence, and Self-Regulation Ability of Scientifically Gifted and Regular Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability of scientifically gifted and regular middle school students. The subjects for this study were 351 middle school students in Busan. The results of this study were as follows: First, scientifically gifted students had higher significant differences in leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability than regular middle school students. Second, there were significant positive correlations between leadership life skills, social competence and self-regulation ability. Third, social competence and self-regulation ability affected leadership life skills. This suggests that social competence and self-regulation ability are important variables to develop and improve leadership life skills of gifted students.

간호대학생의 셀프리더십과 학습인식 (A Study on Nursing Students' Self-leadership and Their Perception of Learning)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-leadership and the perception of learning in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive research design was used in this study. The participants were 378 nursing students in M city and C city who were surveyed between June 1 and June 30, 2014 using self-report questionnaires. The data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 Program, which determined frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation; a One-way ANOVA; a $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test; a Pearson correlation coefficient; and a Stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: There were significant positive correlations between nursing students' self-leadership and their perception of learning. In the multiple regression analysis, self-leadership was the most significant predictor in explaining nursing students' perception of learning. Conclusion: Study findings suggest that nursing students' self-leadership is defined as having an important influence on nursing students' perception of learning. In order to strengthen nursing students' self-leadership, there is a need to develop education programs that increase nursing students' self-leadership.

  • Purpose: This study investigated the influence of nurses' organizational communication and self-leadership on patient safety competence in comprehensive nursing care units of small and medium-sized hospitals. Methods: A descriptive design was used and self-reported questionnaires were used to collect data from 165 nurses in Seoul from February to March, 2020. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression with SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: A mean score of organizational communication was 3.20±0.49, self-leadership 3.58±0.50, and patient safety competency 4.01±0.49 out of 5. A significant positive correlation was found between patient safety competence, organizational communication and self-leadership. Self-leadership and combined ward explained 32% of the variance of patient safety competence (Adjusted R2=.32, p<.001). Conclusion: Patient safety competence in comprehensive nursing care units are associated with self-leadership and organizational communication. Systemic education to improve patient safety competence in small and medium sized hospitals should be implemented to promote organizational communication as well as self-leadership.

Enhancing Workplace Performance Across Banking Distribution Networks: The Role of Self-Leadership and Intrinsic Motivation in Mitigating Procrastination Behavior

  • Purpose: This research delves into the relationship between self-leadership and procrastination behavior in banking distribution networks. Based on the self-determination theory, the study explores how organizational commitment mediates the relationship between these variables. Moreover, the research considers the vital role that intrinsic motivation plays in enhancing and reinforcing these connections. Research design and methodology: Using data from 384 bank employees and partial least squares structural equation modeling, the research found evidence to support the theory. This methodological approach enabled the investigation to uncover the intricate links between self-leadership, procrastination behavior, organizational commitment, and intrinsic motivation. Results: The findings strongly support the hypotheses, indicating a negative association between self-leadership and procrastination behavior at the workplace; conversely, a positive correlation was found between self-leadership and organizational commitment. The discovery further strengthens the results that intrinsic motivation amplifies the positive relationship between self-leadership and organizational commitment. Conclusions: This research underscores the importance of cultivating a culture of self-leadership among banking distribution network employees. By doing so, procrastination can be substantially reduced, enhancing both productivity and overall performance. The study's insights are particularly valuable for organizational leaders in the banking sector, as they provide actionable pathways to foster a more committed, motivated, and efficient workforce.

  • 현대 사회의 조직은 공사를 불문하고 외부에 의한 강제보다 구성원의 자율성을 유도하여 조직구성원의 사기를 높임으로써 인사관리의 효율성을 증대시키려한다. 이는 조직구성원 개인의 '자아(self)' 중요성을 인지하고 상사의 리더십뿐만 아니라 조직 구성원이 스스로 자기관리 및 자기통제를 실행하는 태도를 중시하고 있다는 것인데, 이와 관련하여 등장한 개념이 바로 셀프리더십(self-leadership)이다. 본 연구에서는 상사의 변혁적 리더십(transformational Leadership)이 직원들의 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 상사의 변혁적 리더십과 셀프리더십 간의 관계에서 조직지원의 인과관계를 규명하였다. 연구의 대상은 우리 국회의 경호 경비조직에서 근무하는 경호 경비요원들 중 안내원 및 기능직을 제외한 182명을 대상으로 전수조사를 실시한 결과, 상사의 변혁적 리더십이 셀프리더십에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 상사의 변혁적 리더십은 조직지원인식에 유의한 영향력을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 상사의 변혁적 리더십과 조직구성원의 셀프리더십과의 관계에서 조직지원은 통계적으로 유의한 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 보다 효율적인 국회 경호 경비조직의 인사관리 방향성이 제시되었다.

간호대학생의 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Self-leadership in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 학업적 자기효능감, 임상 실습만족도가 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 이를 위해 G시 간호대학생 3학년 156명을 대상으로 편의표집 하였다. 연구결과 의사소통능력, 학업적 자기효능감, 임상 실습만족도, 셀프리더십는 모두 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였고, 간호대학생의 셀프리더십의 영향요인으로는 의사소통능력, 학업적 자기효능감, 임상실습만족도, 성적에서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 셀프리더십에 영향을 미치는 요인을 활용한 간호대학 교과목에 적용과 프로그램을 개발이 필요할 것이다.

Effect of PBL on Self Leadership, Nursing Leadership, Confidence in Nursing Students Applying Flipped Learning

  • This is a group pretest-posttest design study that aim to evaluate the effect of problem-based learning using flipped learning to self leadership, nursing leadership, and confidence of nursing students. The subjects were 87 4th nursing students who took nursing management from March 15 to April 26, 2021. A questionnaire was used to measure self leadership, nursing leadership, and confidence. The measurement of self leadership is a 5-point Likert scale that employs a questionnaire. Flipped learning uploaded a 5-8 minute lecture video, and the subjects learned on learning management system, using smart device. PBL teaching was developed about personal growth, cooperation, nursing excellence, creative problem solving, influence. As a result of the study, self leadership was significantly improved after education than before education(t=-6.27, p<.001). Nursing leadership and confidence were significantly changed before and after education(t=-16.10, p<.001; t=-2.37, p<.001). According to the results of this study, the PBL teaching method using flipped learning is an effective teaching and learning strategy for improving leadership, and confidence. In future studies, it will be necessary to develope and verify specific teaching and learning methods by applying nursing experts in consideration of the type of leadership.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 셀프리더십이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향과 전통적 리더십인 변혁적, 거래적 리더십에 따라 그 영향이 어떻게 탈라지는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 셀프리더십의 행위적 전략과 인지적 전략은 조직시민행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거래적 리더십이 셀프리더십의 구성요인중 인지적 전략과 조직시민행동과의 관계에서 유의한 조절효과가 나타났다. 이를 통해 조직의 효과성을 증진시키는데 있어 셀프리더십의 중요성을 인식하고 거래적리더십을 통한 셀프리더십의 발휘가 필요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

치위생학 전공심화과정을 이수한 치과위생사의 셀프리더십이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-Leadership on Job Performance of Dental Hygienists who have Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree)

  • Objectives: The Purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of self-leadership on the organizational effectiveness of a dental hygienist who has completed a bachelor's degree of dental hygiene science. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 303 dental hygienists in the Jeonbuk area from July 1 to August 31, 2019. Data were analyzed through the chi-square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 18.0 program. Results: Subject's age, marital status, and clinical experience had significant effects on self-leadership and organizational effectiveness. It was found that the course completion status of bachelor's degree was related to self-leadership and organizational effectiveness. Conclusions: Completing a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene science impacts self-goal setting and constructive thinking of self-leadership. This also influences job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
