비선형 지진해석을 통한 삼각망 철근상세를 갖는 중실 철근콘크리트 기둥의 성능평가 (Performance Assessment of Solid Reinforced Concrete Columns with Triangular Reinforcement Details Using Nonlinear Seismic Analysis)

  • This study investigates the seismic performance of solid reinforced concrete columns with triangular reinforcement details using nonlinear seismic analysis. The developed reinforcement details are economically feasible and rational, and facilitate shorter construction periods. By using a sophisticated nonlinear finite element analysis program, the accuracy and objectivity of the assessment process can be enhanced. Solution of the equations of motion is obtained by numerical integration using Hilber-Hughes-Taylor (HHT) algorithm. The proposed numerical method gives a realistic prediction of seismic performance throughout the input ground motions for several column specimens. As a result, developed triangular reinforcement details were designed to be superior to the existing reinforcement details in terms of required performance.

  • Recently, the occurrence frequency of earthquake has increased in Korea, and the interests for seismic reinforcement of existing school buildings have been raised. To this end, the seismic performance evaluations for school buildings that did not accomplish the seismic design are required. In particular, this study checks the eigenvalue analysis, pushover curves, maximum base shears, performance points and story drift ratios, and then analyzes the seismic performance characteristics according to bracing configuration of steel frame system reinforcement. Also, this study presents the practical field application methods through the comparison of analysis results for the seismic performance characteristics.

점성 감쇠기를 이용한 인접 비대칭 강성 구조물의 내진보강 최적설계 (Optimal Seismic Reinforcement Design of Adjacent Asymmetric-Stiffness Structures with Viscous Dampers)

  • This paper proposes an optimal design method of a seismic reinforcement system for the seismic performance of adjacent asymmetric-stiffness structures with viscous dampers. The first method considers plan asymmetry for efficient seismic reinforcement, and evaluates the seismic performance of optimal design applied to two cases of modeling: adjacent stiffness-asymmetric structures and adjacent stiffness-symmetric structures. The second method considers the response of asymmetric structures to derive the optimal objective function, and evaluates seismic efficiency of the objective function applied to two cases of responses: horizontal displacement and torsion. Numerical analyses are conducted on 7- and 10-story structures with a uni-asymmetric-stiffness plan using six cases of historic earthquakes, normalized to 0.4g. The results indicate that the seismic performance is excellent as modeled by adjacent asymmetric-stiffness structures and how much horizontal displacement is applied as the objective function.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the seismic performance of hollow RC bridge columns with reinforcement details for material quantity reduction. The proposed reinforcement details provide economy, are rational and shorthen the construction periods. The accuracy and objectivity of the assessment process can be enhanced by using a sophisticated nonlinear finite element analysis program. Solution of the equations of motion is obtained by numerical integration using Hilber-Hughes-Taylor (HHT) algorithm. The adopted numerical method gives a realistic prediction of seismic performance throughout the input ground motions for several test specimens investigated. As a result, the proposed reinforcement details for material quantity reduction develop equal performance to that required for existing reinforcement details.

  • Although the modified epoxy mortar can be applied to the reinforcement for RC member, the mortar has been little used in construction site. In addition, there is a few studies regarding the experiment as the material improving the seismic performance. Therefore, this study is to propose an effective reinforcement alternative for RC Ordinary Moment Resisting Frame (OMRF) through evaluation of seismic performance and economic analysis. The findings of this study can be utilized as the basic data in construction sites when the modified epoxy mortar is applied for seismic performance reinforcement.

반복 횡하중을 받는 원형 철근콘크리트 기둥의 Helical Bar 보강효과에 대한 연구 (Study on Reinforcement Effect of Circular RC Columns by Helical Bar Under Cyclic Lateral Load)

  • 본 연구에서는 1992년 도로교설계기준의 내진설계도입 이전 규정에 따라 설계, 시공된 교각의 축소 모델을 실험체로 제작하여 원형기둥의 변위비에 따른 횡하중을 변위제어 방식으로 입력하여 준정적 방법을 통해 실험을 실시하였다. 연구에 적용한 보강재는 성능을 향상시킨 무기계 합금강인 Helical Bar로써 원형기둥 외부에 보강 후 실내실험을 통하여 파괴거동, 하중-변위 관계, 연성도 평가 및 에너지 평가를 실시하였다. 실험변수로는 위험단면 내에서 나선으로 보강한 보강재의 단면력의 크기와 나선보강의 간격, 보강형태로 두었으며, 준정적 실험을 통해 보강성능의 차이와 효과를 확인하였다. 실험결과 보강대상 부재의 성능에 따라 적절한 보강재의 단면력 크기결정과 보강간격 및 형식의 선정이 필요하며 기계적 보강재뿐만 아니라 고강도 콘크리트 피복으로의 치환으로도 보강성능이 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • For an earthquake-safe urban environment, the Republic of Korea conducts seismic performance evaluation in accordance with laws and guidelines to assign safety ratings and implement necessary management measures such as repairs and reinforcements. In the seismic performance evaluation result, structures lacking in preparation for earthquakes are prioritized and classified into measures such as repair, reinforcement, or careful observation to respond to physical risks such as earthquakes. Such repair and reinforcement work is not a one-time thing, but it is necessary to further enhance the effect through continuous follow-up observation. In this study, the location of the vertical and horizontal displacement measuring part of the construction part is displayed so that the post-construction status of the reinforcement construction part can be visually checked by identifying the problems in the process of post-monitoring in 2022 for the maintenance and reinforcement work of local governments' public facilities carried out in 2021. We propose a plan to institutionalize the installation of, inspection tools, and crack gauges at certain locations in the construction department, and to have facility managers periodically inspect and manage them with a smartphone program or the 'Facility Autonomous Safety Inspection' app.

지하철 1~4호선 내진성능 평가절차 및 보강방향 (Seismic Performance Evaluation Procedure and Reinforcement Direction of Subway Lines 1~4)

  • 본 논문에서는 도시철도 내진설계 기준에 의거하여 내진설계가 되지 않은 기존 구조물에 대해서 2010년 4월부터 2013년 10월까지 시행된 지하철 1~4호선에 대해 내진성능 평가방안을 연구하였고, 2012년 12월부터 2018년 12월까지 시행한 내진성능 보강공사 실시설계를 통하여 내진보강이 필요한 시설물에 대한 내진성능 보강방향에 대해 정리하였다. 평가결과 1~4호선 141.5km 중 53.2km(총 사업비 3,220억원)가 내진보강이 필요한 것으로 검토 되었으며, 최종적으로 2020년까지 지진규모 6.5에 견딜 수 있게 내진율 100% 확보를 목표하고 있다. 본 논문은 향후 도시철도의 내진성능을 평가하고 보강하기 위한 기초 연구자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

압축전담 교량 내진보강공법 개발 연구 (Development of Compression-Only Bridge Seismic Reinforcement Method)

  • In this study, a seismic reinforcement method was studied to improve the seismic performance of aged bridges. The construction method developed in this study is a compression-only bridge seismic reinforcement method, and has excellent economic feasibility and workability compared to existing construction methods. In the case of aged bridges, there was an advantage that could compensate for the disadvantages that it was difficult to apply the existing reinforcement method. For the newly developed method, the effect of reinforcement was analyzed through resin analysis. As a result of the analysis, when the reinforcement was applied, the axial reinforcement effect was excellent, and the field applicability was excellent as it showed better results than the existing seismic isolation backing method.

  • 본 연구에서는 기둥을 관통하는 슬래브 하부 철근이 중력하중만으로 설계된 포스트텐션 플랫플레이트 골조의 내진성능에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. PT 플랫플레이트 골조에서는 슬래브 하부 철근에 대해 ACI 318-08에서는 특별한 언급이 없기 때문에 흔히 생략하고 있다. 대상건물을 비선형 시간이력해석으로 평가한 결과, PT 플랫플레이트 골조의 내진성능은 기둥을 관통하는 슬래브 하부철근이 위치할 때 눈에 띄게 향상되었다.
