Social media users are an important part of our lives as they spend a lot of time and actively use them. However, it is known that there are many users who feel the psychological stress of SNS stress or fall into addiction due to SNS use. SNS stress negatively affects not only the user's mind but also the body. This study investigates the associations between SNS stress and addiction. To test the hypotheses, the study performed structural equation modeling using Amos. We collected 210 data from SNS users. The empirical results showed that SNS overuse had a significant effect on SNS stress. Second, SNS stress had a significant relationship with SNS addiction. Third, it was found that SNS overuse did not directly affect SNS addiction. This study suggests that it is necessary to recognize the importance of the relationship between SNS addiction and SNS stress.

Life cycle stages, including daughter sporocysts, cercariae, and metacercariae, of Parvatrema duboisi (Dollfus, 1923) Bartoli, 1974 (Digenea: Gymnophallidae) have been found in the Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum from Aphae-do (Island), Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, Korea. The daughter sporocysts were elongated sac-like and 307-570 (av. 395) ㎛ long and 101-213 (av. 157) ㎛ wide. Most of the daughter sporocysts contained 15-20 furcocercous cercariae each. The cercariae measured 112-146 (av. 134) ㎛ in total length and 35-46 (av. 40) ㎛ in width, with 69-92 (av. 85) ㎛ long body and 39-54 (av. 49) ㎛ long tail. The metacercariae were 210-250 (av. 231) ㎛ in length and 170-195 (av. 185) ㎛ in width, and characterized by having a large oral sucker, genital pore some distance anterior to the ventral sucker, no ventral pit, and 1 compact or slightly lobed vitellarium, strongly suggesting P. duboisi. The metacercariae were experimentally infected to ICR mice, and adults were recovered at day 7 post-infection. The adult flukes were morphologically similar to the metacercariae except in the presence of up to 20 eggs in the uterus. The daughter sporocysts and metacercariae were molecularly (ITS1-5.8S rDNA-ITS2) analyzed to confirm the species, and the results showed 99.8-99.9% identity with P. duboisi reported from Kyushu, Japan and Gochang, Korea. These results confirmed the presence of various life cycle stages of P. duboisi in the Manila clam, R. philippinarum, playing the role of the first as well as the second intermediate host, on Aphae-do (Island), Shinan-gun, Korea.

Recently, interest in home training and changes in lifestyle are expanding the market in the healthcare field, and high value-added fashion products reflecting the dumbbell economy phenomenon are being released. This study had the following objectives: to investigate the possibility of developing a fashion item that can be applied to the dumbbell economy phenomenon; to develop the UI/UX of a smartphone application for beginners who wish to work out their upper and lower bodies regardless of time and space; and to create a wearable customized smart athleisure fashion device. First, the study identified factors related to exercise methods, breathing techniques, and range of exercises for beginners by investigating the postures of workouts of the upper and lower bodies by angles. Based on the results, the study collected empirical data through a user needs analysis from muscle strengthening exercise experts to verify the significance of the study and use as fundamental data. Second, the study developed the UI/UX of a smartphone application with three different contents: counting, suggesting exercise postures, and providing exercise calendars. Further, the study analyzed necessary user-centered concepts and characteristics in terms of design and technology and developed a wearable customized smart athleisure fashion device based on the results.

This study was done with collected and analyzed data using the convenient sampling method on 349 middle school students located in the metropolitan area in order to verify the effect of instructors verbal and nonverbal communications on instructor trust and class commitment in middle school sports clubs. As a result of analyzing the collected data, First, as a result of correlation analysis using the total number of items between sub-factors of latent variables, all correlation coefficients showed a positive (+) significant relationship. Second, as a result of the effect of verbal and nonverbal communications on instructor trust, it was found that the influence of spatial language, appearance language, body language, and linguistic factors were significantly explained in order. Third, as a result of the effect of verbal and nonverbal communications on class flow, it was found that class commitment was significantly explained in the order of appearance language, spatial language, and linguistic factors. Fourth, as a result of the influence of instructor's trust on class commitment, it was found that only the exercise capacity factor significantly explained class commitment. This study provides basic academic data to plan and create interactions with school sports club instructors and students.

In order to experience and compete in car racing in reality, the barrier to entry is very high. It takes a lot of money and time to recruit or participate in a license, expensive vehicle, and stadium where the game can be played. Because of this problem, various equipment is used to create a feeling similar to real racing in their own space through sim racing equipment. Equipment similar to this reality is called sim racing equipment. The sim racing equipment can be divided into three categories. The first is a racing game device that can run virtual racing, the second is a steering wheel, seat, and cradle that are linked to the racing game device, and the third is a racing motion device that allows the body to experience the direction of movement in the racing game. In this thesis, the feeling of real car racing is based on game racing, and how similar reality to real racing is through the steering wheel and cradle equipment, which are equipment that can control game racing, and motion equipment that allows you to experience the direction of game racing. Let's check how the difference between real racing and data value changes through the G-Force direction and speed change values.

This study analyzed the abuse of authority among the types of power abuse in educational institutions in order to create an educational climate in which democracy and equality are respected and to create a better education and an equal society. First, we analyzed the concept and cause of power abuse through literature research, and then explored the cases of members of educational institutions according to the type of abuse of authority through qualitative research to derive implications. As a result, abuse of authority within educational institutions were found as follows: additional work without consultation, transfer of duties, coercive and unilateral instructions using status, instructions violating laws and guidelines, private instructions for personal convenience, specific institutions, personal rights, and privacy. Based on this analysis, a policy was proposed. First, an agreed standard for abuse of authority, an institutional mechanism to mediate conflicts and complaints over abuse of authority, mandatory installation and legislation of the best decision body, active and transparent disclosure of information, and a shift to open and listening administration are needed. Second, analyzing and seeking ways to reduce overuse of authority in educational institutions will be the cornerstone for leading education's democracy and equality by creating a culture of mutual respect and communication among members of the organization. Hope that follow-up studies will be carried out and that the Gap-jil in educational institutions will be reduced to create a better educational environment.

Cisplatin is widely known as an anti-cancer drug. However, the effects of cisplatin on mitochondrial function and autophagy-related proteins levels in the skeletal muscle are unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of different doses of cisplatin on mitochondrial function and autophagy-related protein levels in the skeletal muscle of rats. Eight-week-old male Wistar rats (n = 24) were assigned to one of three groups; the first group was administered a saline placebo (CON, n = 10), and the second and third groups were given 0.1 mg/kg body weight (BW) (n = 6), and 0.5 mg/kg BW (n = 8) of cisplatin, respectively. The group that had been administered 0.5 mg cisplatin exhibited a reduced BW, skeletal muscle tissue weight, and mitochondrial function and upregulated levels of autophagy-related proteins, including LC3II, Beclin 1, and BNIP3. Moreover, this group had a high LC3 II/I ratio in the skeletal muscle; i.e., the administration of a high dose of cisplatin decreased the muscle mass and mitochondrial function and increased the levels of autophagy-related proteins. These results, thus, suggest that reducing mitochondrial dysfunction and autophagy pathways may be important for preventing skeletal muscle atrophy following cisplatin administration.

The aim of this study is to protect workers and pedestrians from accidents at night or bad weather by attaching optical fiber to existing safety clothing that is made only with fluorescent fabrics and retroreflective materials. A safety vest was designed and manufactured by applying optical fiber, and energy-harvesting technology was developed. The safety vest was designed to emit light using the automatic flashing of optical fibers attached to the film, and an energy harvester was manufactured and attached to drive the light emission of the optical fiber more continuously. As a result, first, the vest wearer' body was recognized from a distance through the optical fiber and retroreflection, which helped prevent accidents. Thus, this concept helps in saving lives by preventing accidents during night-time work on the roadside or activities of rescue crew and sports activities, or by quickly finding the point of an accident with a signal that changes the optical fiber light emission. Second, to use the wasted energy, a piezoelectric-element power generation system was developed and the piezoelectric-harvesting device was mounted. Potentially, energy was efficiently produced by activating the effective charging amount of the battery part and charging it auxiliary. In the existing safety vest, detecting the person wearing the vest is almost impossible in the absence of ambient light. However, in this study, the wearer could be found within 100 m by the light emission from the safety vest even with no ambient light. Therefore, in this study, we will help in preventing and reducing accidents by developing smart safety clothing using optical fiber and energy harvester attached to save lives.

In order to clarify the taxonomic status of the Korean Macroramphosus species, which were previously confused, we investigated morphological and molecular variations of Macroramphosus (18 individuals) from Korea, and Macroramphosus (35 individuals) from Japan and Taiwan, and compared with those of M. scolopax from type locality (Mediterranean Sea). Although the Korean and Japanese specimens of Macroramphosus were clearly divided into two types in the first dorsal spine length (22.8~32.1% in A-type vs. 15.6~21.4% in B-type), distance between the first dorsal fin and second dorsal fin (6.4~9.7% vs. 8.6~13.3%), and body depth (20.0~28.0% vs. 17.3~22.6%), no genetic differences among all individuals of longspine snipefish between them were found at the specific level [d=0.0~3.3% in control region (CR); 0.0~1.3% in cytochrome b (cytb); 0.0~0.5% in cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI)]. Whereas, they were well distinguished in genetics (9.9~11.5% in CR; 3.8~4.6% in cytb; 1.2~3.6% in COI) from those of M. scolopax in Mediterranean Sea. It needs the scientific name of the longspine snipefish (M. scolopax) in Korea be changed as M. japonicus (and/or M. sagifue). However, our results could not find evidence of consistency between morphological and mitochondrial DNA variations which suggests that their differentiation event may occur fairly recently. Further studies using more sensitive markers such as microsatellite are needed to clarify the degree of gene flow between the two types.

In order to prolong the Shin-Hallyu and make a significant leap forward, we analyzed the characteristics of Jambinai, Singsing Band, and Ackdan Gwangchil, bands that are recognized globally for their musicality and popularity. First, the socio-cultural background behind the world's attention on korean traditional music lies in the racial and cultural diversity that embraces the non-mainstream identity. In particular, the success of Korean traditional music fusion bands in non-Asian countries can satisfy their public seeking to enjoy an exotic culture that is different from Western culture. it is necessary to recognize cultural, social and musical differences depending on the country or ethnicity and to approach them accordingly. Second, in the same Asian region, Korean traditional music is not given a sense of homogeneity, but in the West, the Eastern heterogeneity seems to have become a stronger ompetitive edge. With the expansion of the new Korean Wave to various regions, it is necessary to try to form a regional repertoire. Third, we found the validity of the convergence with the new Korean Wave through the characteristics of Gugak musicians as the main body to build a world of traditional music and enable popularization and globalization. It is necessary to highlight korea's traditional cultural value through analytical research on the effects of tone, composition and directing techniques reflected in korean traditional music or musical elements. The uniqueness and Korean values provided by Gugak will serve as homogeneity in Asia and heterogeneity in Europe and the United States, presenting the possibility of New Hallyu content and contributing to the prolonged Korean Wave.
