Recent development of core techniques the IT electronics industry can condense into lightweight and slimmer. In this circumstance, researches for the lightweight materials and subminiature screw have been attracted. In this study, the CFRP was produced by stacking angle to obtain the tensile properties. And Comparing the coated screws and non-coated screws on the specimen, and evaluating the adequacy for the application of CFRP using the result. So The clamping force measured by comparison evaluation. Low screw reverse and Superior torque value at each stacking angle were found the optimum conditions, when Subminiature Screw is applied on smart devices. Both tensile strength and stiffness of $[{\pm}0^{\circ}]_{10}$ is the highest. Followed by $[90^{\circ}/0^{\circ}]_{10}$ is the highest. The largest clamping torque is $[90^{\circ}/0^{\circ}]_{10}$ When Subminiature Screw is applied coating and non-coating to prevent loosening. Based on the above, Subminiature Screw should be applied in smart devices, because $[90^{\circ}/0^{\circ}]_{10}$ meet both tensile properties and clamping force.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the maximum screw-in forces generated during the movement of various Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) file systems. Materials and Methods: Forty simulated canals in resin blocks were randomly divided into 4 groups for the following instruments: Mtwo size 25/0.07 (MTW, VDW GmbH), Reciproc R25 (RPR, VDW GmbH), ProTaper Universal F2 (PTU, Dentsply Maillefer), and ProTaper Next X2 (PTN, Dentsply Maillefer, n = 10). All the artificial canals were prepared to obtain a standardized lumen by using ProTaper Universal F1. Screw-in forces were measured using a custom-made experimental device (AEndoS-k, DMJ system) during instrumentation with each NiTi file system using the designated movement. The rotation speed was set at 350 rpm with an automatic 4 mm pecking motion at a speed of 1 mm/sec. The pecking depth was increased by 1 mm for each pecking motion until the file reach the working length. Forces were recorded during file movement, and the maximum force was extracted from the data. Maximum screw-in forces were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc comparison at a significance level of 95%. Results: Reciproc and ProTaper Universal files generated the highest maximum screw-in forces among all the instruments while M-two and ProTaper Next showed the lowest (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Geometrical differences rather than shaping motion and alloys may affect the screw-in force during canal instrumentation. To reduce screw-in forces, the use of NiTi files with smaller cross-sectional area for higher flexibility is recommended.

Due to increase of demands on safety and convenience for automotive vehicle, the use of DC motor, such as power window, seat adjusting, pedal adjusting, sunroof, electric shift motor and so on, is increasing rapidly in the whole world. Worm gear is an important part to transmit torque to another gear in gear mechanism of automotive DC motor. But with current forming process, it has some problems in manufacturing and the quality. Also, the characteristics of automotive parts such as price and mass-production limit the quality improvement. Recently several methods are used in order to reduce a worm screw machining time and to maintain precision. In this paper, we introduce whirling tool machining and side milling cutter machining as effective manufacturing method of worm screw and study on the cutting force of side milling cutter and whirling tool in worm screw machining.

A static load analysis of twin-screw kneaders is required not only for the dynamic analysis, but also because it is the basis of the stiffness and strength calculations that are essential for the design of bearings. In this paper, the static loads of twin-screw kneaders are analyzed, and a mathematical model of the force and torque moments is presented using a numerical integration method based on differential geometry theory. The calculations of the force and torque moments of the twin-screw kneader are given. The results show that the $M_x$ and $M_y$ components of the fluid resistance torque of the rotors change periodically in each rotation cycle, but the $M_z$ component remains constant. The axis forces $F_z$ in the female and male rotors are also constant. The static load calculated by the proposed method tends to be conservative compared to traditional methods. The proposed method not only meets the static load analysis requirements for twin-screw kneaders, but can also be used as a static load analysis method for screw pumps and screw compressors.

Purpose: The purpose of this finite element analysis study is to introduce the novel Lock screw system and analyze its mechanical property to see if it can prevent abutment screw loosening. Materials and Methods: The Lock screw is a component tightened on the inside of the implant abutment which applies compressive force to the abutment screw head. To investigate the effect, modeling was done using CAD program and it was analyzed by finite element analysis under various load conditions. First, the preload was measured according to the tightening torque of the abutment screw then it was compared with the theoretical value to verify the analytical model. The validated analytical model was then divided into those with no external load and those with 178 N, and the tightening torque of the lock screw was changed to 10, 20, 30 Ncm respectively to examine the property of stress distribution on the implant components. Results: Using Lock screw under various loading conditions did not produce equivalent stresses beyond the yield strength of the implant components. In addition, the axial load was increased at the abutment-abutment screw interface. Conclusion: The use of Lock screw does not exert excessive stress on the implant components and may increase the frictional force between the abutment-abutment screw interface, thus it is considered to prevent loosening of the abutment screw.
Study Design: Biomechanical study. Purpose: To investigate the relative stiffness of a new posterior pelvic fixation for unstable vertical fractures of the sacrum. Overview of Literature: The reported operative fixation techniques for vertical sacral fractures include iliosacral screw, sacral bar fixations, transiliac plating, and local plate osteosynthesis. Clinical as well as biomechanical studies have demonstrated that these conventional techniques are insufficient to stabilize the vertically unstable sacral fractures. Methods: To simulate a vertically unstable fractured sacrum, 12 synthetic pelvic models were prepared. In each model, a 5-mm gap was created through the left transforaminal zone (Denis zone II). The pubic symphysis was completely separated and then stabilized using a 3.5-mm reconstruction plate. Four each of the unstable pelvic models were then fixed with two iliosacral screws, a tension band plate, or a transiliac fixation plus one iliosacral screw. The left hemipelvis of these specimens was docked to a rigid base plate and loaded on an S1 endplate by using the Zwick Roell z010 material testing machine. Then, the vertical displacement and coronal tilt of the right hemipelves and the applied force were measured. Results: The transiliac fixation plus one iliosacral screw constructions could withstand a force at 5 mm of vertical displacement greater than the two iliosacral screw constructions (p=0.012) and the tension band plate constructions (p=0.003). The tension band plate constructions could withstand a force at $5^{\circ}$ of coronal tilt less than the two iliosacral screw constructions (p=0.027) and the transiliac fixation plus one iliosacral screw constructions (p=0.049). Conclusions: This study proposes the use of transiliac fixation in addition to an iliosacral screw to stabilize vertically unstable sacral fractures. Our biomechanical data demonstrated the superiority of adding transiliac fixation to withstand vertical displacement forces.
This research was carried out to examine the optimum design conditions of a vertical small-scale milling machine where the rough rice is processed directly into the white rice in one pass. Effects of the main spindle speed, feed screw pitch and ceramic coating length of the roller on various milling characteristics such as white rice processing capacity, electric energy consumption, rice temperature increase, broken rice ratio, moisture reduction, outlet force and crack ratio increase were studied. The results are as follows. 1. The maximum white rice processing capacity and the lowest crack ratio increase, were obtained from a machine with specification: main spindle speed of 970rpm having a feed screw pitch of 19㎜. 2. The minimum electric energy consumption was obtained with the main spindle speeds of 900 and 970rpm respectively having a feed screw pitch of 19㎜. 3. The rice temperature was increased as the feed screw pitch decreased and the main spindle speed increased. 4. Broken rice ratio was relatively low with the range of 0.8∼1.3%. 5. Moisture content loss was with the range of 0.05∼0.4%. 6. The highest outlet force was 0.72kg$\_$f/ with 900rpm of the main spindle speed and 19㎜ of the feed screw pitch and the lowest outlet force was 0.18∼0.34kg$\_$f/ with 970rpm of the main spindle speed and 16㎜ of the feed screw pitch. 7. The optimum design conditions for the vertical small-scale milling machine were obtained at 970rpm of the main spindle speed, 19㎜ of the feed screw pitch and 20㎜ of the ceramics coating length.

In this study, we carried out the finite element analysis about screw that is the weakest part of the centrifuge for sewage management. Structural analysis was done with respect to the change of outer radius and thickness of screw blade and screw with sewage discharge hole. If the area of circular hole is equal to that of extended holes, maximum equivalent stress was compared between hole and extended hole. Centrifugal force on account of rotation of 4000 rpm was applied the screw. The results are as follows : 1 . When the larger radius and thickness of screw blade was used, the higher maximum equivalent stress is occurred. 2. When the larger radius of sewage discharge hale was used, the higher maximum equivalent stress is occurred. 3. When the longer parallel part length of extended hole was used, the higher maximum equivalent stress is occurred. 4. If the extended hole with the same discharging area which circular hole uses, the maximum equivalent stress is lower.
Purpose: A study analysed the stress distribution of abutment screw and supporting bone of fixture by the tightening torque force of the abutment screw within clinical treatment situation for the stability of the dental implant prosthesis. Methods: The finite element analysis was targeted to the mandibular molar crown model, and the implant was internal type 4.0 mm diameter, 10.0 mm length fixture and abutment screw and supporting bone. The occlusal surface was modeled in 4 cusps and loaded 100 N to the buccal cusps. The connection between the abutment and the fixture was achieved by combining three abutment tightening torque forces of 20, 25, and 30 Ncm. Results: The results showed that the maximum stress value of the supporting bone was found in the buccal cortical bone region of the fixture in all models. The von Mises stress value of each model showed 184.5 MPa at the 20 Ncm model, 195.3 MPa in the 25 Ncm model, and 216.5 MPa in the 30 Ncm model. The contact stress between the abutment and the abutment screw showed the stress value in the 20 Ncm model was 201.2 MPa, and the 245.5 MPa in the 25 Ncm model and 314.0 MPa in the 30 Ncm model. Conclusion: The increase of tightening force within the clinical range of the abutment screw of the implant dental prosthesis was found to have no problem with the stability of the supporting bone and the abutment screw.

The purpose of this study was to clarify the clinical efficiency of tungsten carbide/carbon coating on obtaining optimal preload of abutment screw compared with non-coated screw in external-hex implant system. In the present work, rotational value and the compressive force between abutment and fixture of abutment screws without coating and with coating tightened to 30Ncm were measured. Mean compressive force of coated screw was 504.6N. Then uncoated screw was tightened to clamping the abutment and the implant to 504.6N, and the tightening torque value and the rotational value was recorded. The following conclusions were drawn within the limitation of this study. Compressive force of coated screw was higher than that of uncoated screw after tightening at 30Ncm. The tightening torque that was nedeed to clamping the uncoated screw equal to coated screw tightened to 30Ncm was 55.6Ncm. In case of equal compressive force, there was no significant difference in rotation value between coated and uncoated screw.
