유아보육·교육기관의 교사 전문성 지원 환경이 유아교사의 인공지능 기술수용의도에 미치는 영향: 스마트·디지털 기기 활용 경험에 의해 조절된 과학교수태도의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Early Childhood Education and Care Institution's Professional Learning Environment on Teachers' Intention to Accept AI Technology: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Science Teaching Attitude Modified by Experience of Using Smart·Digital Device)

  • Objective: This study aims to investigate whether science teaching attitude of early childhood teachers mediates the relationship between the professional learning environment of institutions and their intention to accept artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and whether the experience of using smart and digital devices moderates the effect of science teaching attitude. Methods: An online survey was conducted targeting 118 teachers with more than 1 year of experience in kindergarten and day care center settings. Descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and The Process macro model 4, 14 were performed using SPSS 27.0 and The Process macro 3.5. Results: First, the science teaching attitude of early childhood teachers served as a mediator between the professional learning environment of institutions and teachers' intention to accept AI technology. Second, the experience of using smart and digital devices was found to moderate the effect of teachers' science teaching attitude on their intention to accept AI technology. Conclusion/Implications: This results showed that an institutional environment that supports teachers' professionalism development and provides rich experience is crucial for promoting teachers' active acceptance of AI technology. The findings highlight the importance of creating a supportive institutional envionment for teacher's professional growth, enhancing science teaching attitudes, and facilitating the use of various devices.

정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 관한 연구 (A Study Integrated Teaching/Learning Information Literacy Subject and the Other School Subjects)

  • 본 연구는 학생들의 창의성 함양을 위하여 정보교과목과 타 교과목들을 통합적으로 교수학습 하는 것이 필요한 이유를 심리학과 신경과학의 이론을 연구함으로써 밝히고 있다. 창의성이란 마음이나 두뇌의 내부에 이미 존재하는 정보와 외부에서 입수하는 정보를 통합하는 과정에서 생긴다. 이것이 곧 사람이 생각하는 것 또는 인간정보처리라고 말하는 것이다. 창의성이 정보통합의 과정에서 생기는 것이라면 학교수업에서 이 원리를 활용하여 학생들의 창의성 함을 도모해야 할 것이다. 다양한 정보자료의 활용을 기본 바탕으로 하는 정보교과목을 정규 교과목으로 가르치되. 타 교과목들과 병행하여 교수/학습함으로써 학생들의 마음 또는 두뇌가 두 가지 이상의 교과목의 정보를 통합하는 경험을 하도록 할 수 있는 것이다. 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습을 실시하는 것은 최종적으로는 각각의 교과목 담당자들이 주도적 역할을 해야 하는 것이므로 사서교사와 일반교과목 담당교사들을 대상으로 통합적 교수/학습의 실시에 대한 의견과 이러한 교육의 실시를 위하여 필요한 환경을 설문조사 하였다. 이들은 학생들의 창의성 함양을 위한 통합적 교수/학습에 기본적으로 긍정적 견해를 가지고 있으며 교수/학습의 대상자인 학생들도 통합적 교수학습의 실시에 필요한 조건을 갖추고 있다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 그러나 일반교과목 담당교사는 물론 사서교사들까지도 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 대하여 그 내용이나 방법 효과 등의 지식이 매우 부족하며 또 학교도서관은 통합적 교수/학습의 실시에 필요한 준비가 되어 있지 않은 것으로 판명되었다. 조사결과에 따라 필자는 사서교사 양성기관인 대학의 문헌정보학 교육과정에 정보교과목과 타 교과목의 통합적 교수/학습에 대한 내용을 포함시키는 것이 선결 과제이며. 학교도서관은 이러한 교수/학습을 실시하는데 필요한 자료를 충실히 갖추어서 창의성 함양에 도움이 되는 교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 해야 한다는 제안을 하였다.

초등과학 '작은 생물의 세계' 단원에 대한 STEAM 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과 (The Development and Application Effects of STEAM Program about 'World of Small Organisms' Unit in Elementary Science)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop STEAM teaching materials about 'world of small organisms' unit on elementary science education and to apply lesson using them for the 5th and 6th graders. Compared to other STEAM programs studied previously, the STEAM teaching materials of this study includes students' STEAM, teachers' guide, story-telling books and multimedia teaching aids consisted of practical resources to manage STEAM lessons. The whole program was designed from multidisciplinary integration to extradisciplinary integration through activities making creative products, meanwhile each period had discretionary S, T, E, A, M factors specifically. To examine the effects of integrated lesson on scientific knowledge, process skills, and affective domain, the study subjects were divided into two groups. The experimental group was composed of 69 individuals participated in STEAM lesson, while students of the control group were 67 individuals learned through general learning methods. The developed STEAM teaching materials affected significantly on scientific knowledge and affective domain of elementary school students, but process skills were not increased significantly. In the present study, therefore, the approach applying STEAM education could be suggested as alternative learning materials or supplementary teaching materials at the field of small organisms in elementary science sufficiently.

과학교사 학습공동체에서 나타나는 사회적 상호작용 과정의 분석 (Analysis of Social Interaction Process in Science Teachers' Learning Community)

  • In this study, we operated science teacher learning community to enhance professionality of elementary science teachers. 8 participants with various background, which include their science content knowledge, teaching experience and beliefs about teaching, were involved in this study. Bales(1950)'s social interaction process framework was mainly used to understand the members' interaction, focusing particularly on process aspects not on contents aspects. The data analysis shows that the members in the science teacher learning community tried their best to maintain the positive reaction to other members in most occasions in the community meetings. On the other hand, there were also negative reaction process due to their different ideas and views, causing their emotional conflicts in some social relations and dialogical situations. Nevertheless, the results also imply that the dual reaction processes, which are positive and negative processes, are equally important to facilitate science teachers' professional knowledge and experience. The educational meanings are discussed in the aspects of science teacher education.

효과적인 알고리즘 교육을 위한 교수-학습 모형 개발 (Development of a teaching-learning model for effective algorithm education)

  • 창의적 문제해결 능력을 위한 알고리즘 교육의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 특히 수학 과학과 연계된 논리적 사고력 증진을 위한 알고리즘 교재 개발이 추진 중 이다. 그러나 교육현장에서 적용 가능한 교수-학습 모형에 대한 제시가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 효과적인 알고리즘 교육을 위한 교수-학습 모형을 제시한다. 나선형 모형으로 학습 진도를 진행하며, 논리적 사고력을 기반으로 하는 알고리즘 교육의 특성을 반영하여 교수-학습 모형을 개발하였다. 또한 학습자의 만족도를 위하여 설문을 실시하였으며, 그 결과로 설계된 교수-학습 모형은 PBL과 자기주도학습 및 동료교수법의 혼합 모형이다. 제시된 모형에 근거하여 수학과 과학의 수업 예시를 구성하여 적용 가능성을 보였다.

과학사를 활용한 '우리 몸' 단원의 교수·학습 프로그램이 초등학생들의 학업성취도, 과학 태도, 과학 탐구 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of a Teaching-Learning Program Using the History of Science on Academic Achievement, Science Attitude, and Science Process Skill of Elementary School Students - Focused on the Unit of 'Our Body' -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a teaching-learning program using the history of science on elementary school students' academic achievement, science attitude, and science process skill. Subjects were 72 students of two groups in the 5th Grade. A experimental group of 36 was instructed 10 lessons in unit of 'our body' using the history of science. The history of science materials used in this program included 4 explicit method, which are Eii, Eij, Eik and Ea type, and 1 implicit method which is I type. The contents validity of this program was reviewed by the science education specialists. The results of the study were as follows: Students of experimental group showed statistically more significant increase in academic achievement and science attitude than control group students. However, there was no significant difference on science process skill between the instruction by applying a teaching-learning program using the history of science and the traditional instruction. Since this program using the history of science is effective for the attitude improvement of elementary school students as well as academic achievement, it is highly likely to be used as the science education material for students with the low affective area.

구성주의 관점에 의한 자연과 '지층과 화석' 단원의 교수-학습 (Teaching-Learning on 'The Beds and Fossils' Unit in Elementary Science from the Constructivist Perspective)

  • 구성주의 학습은 의미구성의 적극적인 과정이며, 학생 스스로 개인의 흥미와 관심, 능력에 따라 스스로 학습목표를 결정할 수도 있다. 본 연구에서는 구성주의에 입각한 학습 교재와 교수-학습 모델을 개발하고 이를 서울의 한 초등학교 학생들에게 적용하였다. 4학년 2학기 ‘지층과 화석’ 단원을 학생과 교사의 토론을 중심으로 재구성하였으며, 안내-실천-표현-합의-발전의 단계에 따라 1개월 동안 수업을 실시하고 그 결과를 정리해 보았다.

'지층과 암석'에 대한 초등 예비 교사의 지식 이해와 교수유형 (Pre-service Elementary Teacher' Knowledge understanding and Teaching-learning type about 'stratum and rock')

  • The study aims to figure out pre-service elementary teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' as well as teaching-learning types on the same topic. A total of 65 seniors in an advanced science education course at B University of Education joined the research to fulfill the purpose above. With PCK classification framework, the study examined pre-service teachers' knowledge understanding on 'stratum and rock' while it analyzed how the teachers would teach the given topic to students. The results of the study are presented as follows. First, it was observed that the pre-service elementary teachers have a great understanding on 'stratum and rock' that would be taught via a science textbook for elementary fourth graders. However, regarding terms in 'shale and limestone', they appeared to have a relatively short understanding. Second, PCK elements of the pre-service teachers related to 'stratum and rock' were analyzed and according to the results, the teachers would be interested in teaching model selecting in the teaching-learning strategy field while they would be well aware of how important it is for them to perform an experiment in a teaching process. The teachers also appeared to understand that the teacher question can be mutual complementary during class. However, it turned out that the teachers would have a very much low understanding on learners' prior knowledge as they particularly believe that learning could be significantly affected by the learners' perception level as well as their learning interest and motive. Third, the pre-service elementary teachers were told to design teaching plans on 'stratum and rock' so that the study could find out what learning-teaching methods the teachers would adopt to teach the topic. It was learned that the teachers would proceed with the class basically by giving the learners a descriptive explanation on the topic and also by using pictures and drawings to enhance the learners' understanding during the class.

Fostering Pre-service STEM Teachers' Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge: A Lesson Learned from Case-based Learning Approach

  • As the recent demand for human resources in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), the development of professional STEM teacher is called worldwide. It is becoming a critical need in teacher education in order to educate student teachers, and prepare pre-service and beginning teachers for high quality of teaching competency. To promote the competency for $21^{st}$ century STEM teachers, the epistemology of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) is currently considered as the essential qualities of knowledge for highly qualified teachers. The aim of this study is explore the effect of case-based learning approach on TPACK competency of pre-service STEM teachers. In order to develop the pre-service teachers' competency regarding effective integration of technologies into teaching specific content areas, a series of innovative case study teaching in science and mathematics was presented to 43 participants of pre-service physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and computer teachers during a course of information and communication technology (ICT) in Education at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. After finishing a case presentation, the pre-service teachers were encouraged into a forum of critical open discussion by considering the potential impact of the case and the TPACK framework. They were investigated instructional design competency of using ICT tools into student learning process and their personal beliefs about ICT in educational process both before and after. The participant's reactions and learning was evaluated by using a self-reported questionnaire and an implementation log of content-specific learning process design, respectively. Results showed a change of their beliefs and the transformation of their TPACK competency in STEM teaching. In an effort to better serve the needs of high quality STEM teachers, the results of this study illustrated that the competency of TPACK could be particularly considered as a core attributes for future STEM teachers. By the way, case-based learning approach can play an effective part in preparing and professing the TPACK competency for STEM teachers.

초등교사의 과학 수업에 대한 인식론적 신념 -성별과 교직 경력을 중심으로- (Epistemological Beliefs of Elementary School Teachers in Science Class According to Gender and Teaching Experience)

  • 이 연구는 현직 초등 과학 교사의 인식론적 신념에 대한 개인 변인의 주 효과와 상호작용 효과를 확인하였다. 수도권 지역의 338명의 초등 과학 교사들을 대상으로 성별, 교직 경력, 인식론적 신념에 대한 설문을 분석한 결과 인식론적 신념은 성별과 교직 경력, 그리고 성별과 교직 경력의 상호작용에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 성별에 따라서는 여교사가 남교사보다 지식이 고도로 통합되어 있으며, 배움에서 결과보다 과정을 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다. 교직 경력에 따라서는 대체로 고경력 교사가 지식은 통합되어 있으며 끊임없이 진화하고, 지식은 개인의 추론에 의해 획득되며 개인과 외부의 상호작용을 통해 정당화되는 것으로 보고 이 과정에서 결과보다 과정을 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 저경력 교사들이 다른 집단에 비해 학습에 있어서 노력이 필수 불가결한 것으로 인식하는 모습을 보였다. 성별과 교직 경력의 상호작용에 따라서는 초등교사들은 성별과 관계 없이 교직 경력이 높을수록 지식이 통합되어 있으며 끊임없이 진화한다고 믿는 것으로 나타났지만, 학습 능력에 대해서 저경력 남교사들은 학습 능력은 타고나는 것으로 보았지만, 저경력 여교사들은 학습 능력은 경험을 통해 발달하는 것으로 믿고 있었으며, 학습 과정에 대해서 고경력 남교사들은 학습에 있어서 결과를 중요시하는 반면, 고경력 여교사들은 결과보다 과정을 중요시하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 바탕으로, 교수학습의 질 향상을 목적으로 하는 많은 연수들의 설계 시 교사의 개인적 특성을 고려한다면, 교사들의 과학 인식론적 신념을 발달하는 데보다 효과적인 기회를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
