학교시설 외부 안전환경 현황 조사연구 - 학교 주변 통학로를 중심으로 - (A Study for Safety Environment around School Facilities. - Focused on School Routes -)

  • 학교시설에 대한 안전관리 등에 대한 법적, 제도적 장치가 있음에도 불구하고 학교안전사고 발생 건수는 지속적으로 유지되고, 특히 최근에는 통학 관련한 사고유형 증가하고 있다. 하지만 학교시설은 통학환경에 대한 관리주체가 학교, 교육청 등이 아닌 지자체 등에 있어 안전한 통학환경 조성에 어려움이 존재하고 있고 교육청 및 교육부에서도 별다른 통학 안전 환경에 대한 기준 및 체계 등 제도적 장치가 미흡한 시점에서 학교시설 안전을 향상하기 위해 방향을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내·외 학교시설 외부 환경 안전을 위한 조사한 자료들을 바탕으로 도출한 4가지(보차분리, 보행로 관리, 보행 시야 확보, 주변 위험요소) 안전평가항목을 설정, 전국 179개 학교시설(유치원, 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교 및 특수학교)의 국내 사례를 대상으로 통학로를 중심으로 현황 분석하였다. 평가 항목에서 절반 이상의 지역에서 평가 점수의 50% 이하로 평가되었다. 이에 해당 평가 항목을 반영하여 학교시설의 외부 환경에 대한 개선이 노력이 요구되며, 이를 위한 제도적 장치마련 및 행정적 개선 방향 등을 모색할 필요가 있다.

산업재해분석을 통한 안전관리전문기관의 역할 (The Role of Safety Management Professional Organizations through Industrial Accident Analysis)

  • Since last year, the government has enforced the 'Act on the Punishment of Severe Accidents, Etc.' (hereafter referred to as the 'Serious Accident Punishment Act'), which punishes business owners and business managers who fail to fulfill their duty of safety measures with 'imprisonment of one year or more' and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Based on this, various occupational safety and health policies were developed, including the operation of a system related to entrusting the work of safety managers. Despite these efforts, the effect of implementing the Severe Accident Punishment Act is a groundbreaking change in the current disaster prevention policy, which has increased by 0.02%P and 0.03‱P, respectively, from the previous year to 0.65% of the total accident rate and 1.10‱ of the death rate per 10,000 people as of 2022. As the need emerged, attention was paid to 'collaboration and governance with safety management institutions' in the 'Severe Disaster Reduction Roadmap' announced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor in November 2022. In this study, a meaningful result was derived by comparing and analyzing the industrial accident status of workplaces entrusted by "A" safety management institutions with the national average based on the industrial accident survey table, and the types of industrial accidents that occurred in consigned workplaces were selected as intensive management targets. The policy direction for industrial accident prevention was established. It is necessary to develop safety management work manuals based on the results of this study, expertise, discover best cases of risk assessment and develop guides, and educate and train consigned workers. In addition, it suggests that the government's guidance and supervision are needed to advance the professionalism of safety management entrusted tasks, and that safety management institutions should strengthen their roles and functions for preventing and reducing industrial accidents. However, due to difficulties in disclosing information of specialized safety management institutions, the limitation of the provision, collection, and viewing of research-related data to "A" specialized safety management institutions remains a limitation of the research. It seems likely that more thorough research will be conducted.

Assessment of Food Hygiene and Safety Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice in Elementary School Students

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the elementary students' knowledge, attitudes, and practice for food hygiene and safety. A self-administered questionnaire was developed and offered to 375 elementary school students throughout the Seoul region. The results of the survey were as follows: First, the knowledge, attitudes, and practice were not at satisfactory level. The scores of children's knowledge, attitudes, and practice were 67.42%, 3.83, and 3.81 out of 5 point scale, respectively. Second, knowledge, attitudes and practice levels were significantly different according to demographic characteristics. The lower grade-students had significantly higher scores for knowledge (p<.05), attitudes (p<.05) and practice (p<.01) than higher gradestudents, suggesting that food hygiene and safety education is more effective in younger students or that repeated education is needed for higher grade-students. Third, knowledge, attitudes and practice levels were significantly correlated each other. These results suggest that the education programs for food hygiene and safety should be developed for, as well as implemented in, lower elementary school grades.

안전을 적용한 학교 교육 시설의 계획에 관한 연구 (- Study about a plan of the school education facilities which applied safety -)

  • As for the purpose of this study, education facilities must be considered by a change of an education facilities equipment acid education system and aromatic character of an educational policy with a means to support to efficiently proceed education by study about a plan of the school education facilities which considered safety. That is, education facilities must become maintenance on design construction according to education action character and goal. This is not for a function of education to be decided according to education facilities, and education facilities must be decided so that adjustment can do an education function. The student center, a student are convenient, and an actor must do a plan of education facilities with an usable physical space contrariety, future directivity. As for the plan of school education facilities, facilities must be designed on functionality, an economy, flexibility, aesthetic appreciation anger, a foundation of stability for this so that objective of education realization is easy.

  • The objective of this study is to maintain the same frequency as the electrode material, concentration, duration of decomposition efficiency, power consumption and voltage measurements using a composite catalyst according to the change of process parameters to obtain the optimum state of the process and the maximum decomposition efficiency. In this paper, known as a major cause of air pollution, such as NO, NO2, SO2, frequency, flow rate, concentration, the material of the electrodes, and using TiO2 catalyst reactor with surface discharge caused by discharging the reactor plasma NOx, SOx decompose the harmful gas want to remove.

어린이 제품에 함유된 유해 물질 관리 방안에 관한 연구 -학용품을 중심으로- (A Study on the Control of Harmful materials in Children's Goods -centering on school supplies-)

  • This study analyzed that the standard of school supplies affects the satisfaction of certification. Safety requirements of school supplies in the Republic of Korea is enforced by court duty certification. Therefore, a test was conducted to compare the safety requirements of the United States and Europe and the survey was conducted to know how much manufacturers and importers are satisfied with the certification. To prepare management measures for harmful substances contained in children's product, XRF(X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry) is utilized to analyze lead(Pb) and cadmium(Cd) in PA(paint), SP(sheet) and PVC(Poly Vinyl Chloride). The results of comparative analysis of ICP(inductively coupled plasma) is analyzed statistically with measured values.

The in vitro and in vivo Safety Evaluation of Lactobacillus acidophilus IDCC 3302

  • As consumption of healthy foods continues to garner remarkable public attention, ensuring probiotic safety has become a priority. In this study, the safety of Lactobacillus acidophilus IDCC 3302 was assessed in vitro and in vivo. L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 showed negative results for hemolytic and β-glucuronidase activities. The whole-genome analysis (WGA) revealed that L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 did not possess antibiotic resistance or virulence genes. The minimal inhibitory concentrations of L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 confirmed its safety concerning antibiotic resistance. Furthermore, L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 was demonstrated to be nontoxic in the oral toxicity test in rats. Therefore, the results suggested that L. acidophilus IDCC 3302 might be safe for human consumption.

한국 반도체관련 산업의 사업장 안전 분위기와 근로자들의 안전행동에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Safety Climate and Worker's Safe Work Behavior in Semiconductor Industry Related Work Site in Korea)

  • The Semiconductor industry in Korea has achieved a great contribution to the growth of its economy for the last 20 years with its product export ranked to #1 nowadays. However, the working environment in semiconductor industry is always exposed to a potential risk of critical safety issue for workers with many kinds of utilities used such as toxic chemicals, gases, high vacuum and high voltages of electricity. This study is focused on empirical research to find out the factors on safety climate and to examine the relationships of safety climate and safe work behaviour in the work site of Korea semiconductor industry. As a result of simulation, a strong positive relationships and safe work behaviour have been identified in this study. Its result and implications has been discussed and suggested further studies on its limitation from this study.

아동의 식품안전 및 위생에 대한 지식 및 행동 평가 (Evaluation of knowledge and behaviors towards food safety and hygiene of children)

  • This study examined the children's knowledge and behaviors towards food safety and hygiene. The data were collected from 521 elementary school students in Youngnam region by the self-administered questionnaires. Frequencies and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were conducted by SPSS WINDOWS. The results of the survey were as follows: first, the knowledge level of child towards food safety and hygiene was not that high. Additionally, behavior level was various according to the category of food safety and hygiene. Second, the knowledge and behavior levels for food safety and hygiene were high proportionated to the interest levels for them. Third, there were significant relationships between the knowledge and the behaviors for food safety and hygiene. These results suggest that the education for food safety and hygiene should be performed for the elementary school students to improve the levels of knowledge and behaviors of them.
