충주시 학교외부공간 피복유형에 따른 온열환경 및 생태면적률 비교 (Comparison of Thermal Environment and Biotope Area Rate according to Land Cover Types of Outside Space of School located in Chung-ju)

  • This study was conducted to be used as basic data of environmental friendly construction planning by comparing and analyzing thermal environment, find particles and biotope area rate according to land cover types of outside space of schools located in Chung-ju. When meteorological factors were analyzed according to land cover types, for temperature planting area and paved area showed low-and high-temperature ranges, respectively, and relative humidity was negatively related with temperature as low-and high-temperature ranges corresponded to high-and low-humidity ranges, respectively. For Wet Bulb Globe Temperature Index (WBGT) by land cover types, it was observed to be artificial grass> bare land> natural grass. Find particles were different according to land cover types of playground with being bare land> artificial grass> natural grass in the order. Bare land playground, where there were artificial factors and no absorption of fine particles through stomata of leaves as a function of natural circulation, recorded the highest level of $39.8\;{\mu}g/m^3$ and the level was relatively higher compared to the levels by season in Chung-ju. Biotope area rate showed the order of M elementary school> K elementary school> C commercial high school. That was considered to be caused by the difference of land cover type of school playground accounting for a large part of a school.

농촌지역 초등학교 보건실의 공간구성 및 특성 -청원군 지역을 중심으로- (The Characteristics and Spatial Configuration for a Nurse's Office in an Elementary School in a Rural Area -Focused on Cheongwon Gun Area-)

  • As the importance of health and school health grows, the purposes of this research are to investigate the differences between the characteristics and the utilization of the nurse's office of an elementary school in an urban area and the nurse's office of an elementary school in a rural area, and to provide the data for the planning of construction of a nurse's office convenient for students to use after grasping the regional characteristics. The methods of this research include the interview and the survey conducted to the heath teachers after visiting 20 nurse's offices in 13 eups and myeons, and examined and analyzed the differences between the characteristics and the utilization of the nurse's office of elementary schools in an urban area and the nurse's office of an elementary school. The nurse's offices of the elementary schools in Cheongwon, a rural area, are worse in access to health care institutions and in the connection to the placement than those of the elementary schools in urban areas, so most of eups and myeons were not allowed for easy access to medical service. Depending on the bad personal surroundings of each elementary student, mental stress and the lack of heal care of each student should be taken care of along with the educating of the parents and the children. Also because of the difficulties in access to the health care institutions, it is suggested that a lot of support and interest should be provided for the nurse's offices and that a lot of changes with functions should occur to the nurse's offices so that the nurse's office of an elementary school can play the role as a local health care institution. Besides, the health teachers also should be able to provide more professional medical services by taking in-service training courses.

Root proximity of the anchoring miniscrews of orthodontic miniplates in the mandibular incisal area: Cone-beam computed tomographic analysis

  • Objective: This outcome analysis study evaluated the actual positions of the orthodontic miniplate and miniplate anchoring screws (MPASs) and the risk factors affecting adjacent anatomic structures after miniplate placement in the mandibular incisal area. Methods: Cone-beam computed tomographic images of 97 orthodontic miniplates and their 194 MPASs (diameter, 1.5 mm; length, 4 mm) in patients whose miniplates provided sufficient clinical stability for orthodontic treatment were retrospectively reviewed. For evaluating the actual positions of the miniplates and analyzing the risk factors, including the effects on adjacent roots, MPAS placement height (PH), placement depth (PD), plate angle (PA), mental fossa angle (MA), and root proximity were assessed using the paired t-test, analysis of variance, and generalized linear model and regression analyses. Results: The mean PDs of MPASs at positions 1 (P1) and 2 (P2) were 2.01 mm and 2.23 mm, respectively. PA was significantly higher in the Class III malocclusion group than in the other groups. PH was positively correlated with MA and PD at P1. Of the 97 MPASs at P1, 49 were in the no-root area and 48 in the dentulous area; moreover, 19 showed a degree of root contact (19.6%) without root perforation. All MPASs at P2 were in the no-root area. Conclusions: Positioning the miniplate head approximately 1 mm lower than the mucogingival junction is highly likely to provide sufficient PH for the P1-MPASs to be placed in the no-root area.

항공기소음피해지역 설정 기준의 개선방안에 관한 고찰 : 학교를 중심으로 (A Study on the Amendment of Criteria for the Establishment of the Area Damaged by the Aircraft Noise : Criteria for School Classrooms)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an appropriate criterium for proper sound insulation service preventing school classrooms from aircraft noise. The guideline of noise level for school facility by Korean school health law is less than Leq 55 which is less stringent than that of other countries. It has been reported that many students are annoyed and disturbed for their works when they are exposed to the noise level over Leq 55. It is desirable to modify this guideline of indoor noise level for school classroom. The noise level of classroom of which windows are opened was measured relatively high in case the school is located at the outside of the official area damaged by aircraft noise. In order to minimize the influence of aircraft noise on the school classrooms in the vicinity of domestic airport, it is necessary to improve the present criteria of WECPNL 75 for the establishment of the area damaged by aircraft noise from WECPNL 70.

  • 본 논문에서는 학교수학에서 발견할 수 있는 순환논법의 예로서 고등학교 미분과 적분 교과서에서 정적분을 통해 원의 넓이를 구하는 과정에서 발견되는 순환논법을 수학적으로 분석하고, 학교수학의 수준에서 원의 넓이에 관련된 몇 가지 증명방법들의 의미를 비교 분석한다. 특히 원의 넓이에 대한 아르키메데스의 증명과정을 고찰하여 학교수학에서 국소적 조직화의 의미와 가치를 재조명한다.

A Study on the Factors Related to the Seafood Preference of Elementary School Children

  • This study was undertaken with 237 fifth grade children to investigate the factors, affecting the seafood prefrerence of elementary school children as one of the approaches to find strategies to promote these children's acceptance of seafoods. Subjects for this study were from one public elementary school under meal service located each in Boryeoung-city Chungcheongna Co (coastal area) and Chelowon gen Gangwon do land locked area) The preferences for than those in Boryeong and differences in may items were significant Among four area gender groups girls in Cheolwon had the lowest preference for most seafood items except cephalocoda for which the preference of body in Cheolwon was the lowest Making soup was the least preferred method to cook fish regardless of gender and area, while grilling was the most or the second most preferred in each gender area group Compared to girls bodys had a higher preference for deep frying The seafood preferences of mothers in both areas were similar to those of their children except for processed seafoods which were even more preferred by the children than mothers. Gender, distance from the sea and the method of preparation/cooking seemed to affect the children's preference more than their mother's preference and frequency of serving in the case of seafood. And the effect of gender distance from the sea and cooking methods differed for each seafood category The several suggestions to improve seafood preference especially in land locked area are discussed.

High-efficiency BIRA for embedded memories with a high repair rate and low area overhead

  • High-efficiency built-in redundancy analysis (BIRA) is presented. The proposed BIRA uses three techniques to achieve a high repair rate using spare mapping registers with adjustable fault tags to reduce area overhead. Simulation results show that the proposed BIRA is a reasonable solution for embedded memories.

  • In this paper we compared and analyzed the Korean and German mathematics textbooks for the middle school students. For the research we investigated only the area of algebra, which is consisted of the three sections-section of numbers and arithmetic operations, section of letters and expressions, and section of rules and functions. We expect that this paper would contribute on the development of the whole area in our nation's mathematical educations, including the organization and exploitation of the curriculums for the middle school students.

  • The purposes of this study are:(1) to analyze the learning content & subjects on the area of clothing and textiles in Home Economics for Young Men: A Teaching Guide, (2) to compare it with the learning content & subjects on the area of clothing and textiles in Home Economics teaching guides in the middle school in Korea, (3) to provide preliminary data for developing the learning content & learning method on clothing and textiles education for middle school students. To implement these proposals, Home Economics for young Men: A Teaching Guide in U.S.A and 6 Home Economics teaching guides for the middle school in Korea are reviewed and analyzed. The research findings were as follows: 1. Home Economics for Young Men is characterized as including: (1) interesting learning contents for girls and boys in the middle school, (2) learning contents for helping students to work on their own initiative (3) learning contents related to actual life, (4) practical consumer education content related to clothing and textiles area, (5) learning contents for developing originality, (6) learning contents related to vocational education. 2. The subjects in Home Economics for Young Men give careful considerations especially on how to learn. They are based on the idea that middle school students have to learn and to solve the subject by themselves. 3. Learning contents on Home Economics teaching guides for middle school in Korea are different from learning contents in Home Economics for Young Men in the subject & the form of description, the subject matter of practice in clothing area, the standpoint of description on clothing matters. The subjects in Home Economics teaching guides for middle school in Korea don’s give careful consideration on how to learn. There are little idea that middle school students have to learn and to solve the subject by themselves.

평면도형의 둘레와 넓이, 입체도형의 겉넓이와 부피에 대한 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 수행 능력 조사 (A study on the performance of sixth-grade elementary school students about the perimeter and area of plane figure and the surface area and volume of solid figure)

  • 초등학교 교육과정에 포함된 측정 속성 가운데 둘레와 넓이, 겉넓이와 부피는 5, 6학년에서 집중적으로 다루어진다. 그러나 이 영역에서 학생들의 수행능력이 어느 정도가 되며 어떤 문제가 있는지에 대해서는 알려진 바가 많지 않다. 이 연구는 평면도형의 둘레와 넓이, 입체도형의 겉넓이와 부피에 대한 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 이해 정도를 진단하고, 각 요소별 수행 능력을 비교 분석하여 차후 수학 교과서 개발 및 측정 영역 지도를 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 둘레, 넓이, 겉넓이, 부피, 둘레와 넓이의 관계, 겉넓이와 부피의 관계에 관련된 문항을 구성하여 6학년 학생 95명을 대상으로 수행 능력을 분석하였다. 분석결과 초등학교 6학년들의 수행능력이 둘레, 겉넓이, 둘레와 넓이의 관계, 겉넓이와 부피의 관계 영역에서 특히 낮은 것으로 드러났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 둘레와 넓이, 겉넓이와 부피 개념의 도입 순서와 지도 방법, 지도 순서 등에 대한 몇 가지 아이디어를 제안하였다.
