This paper aims at investigate factors inducing school violence from an ecological standpoint on the assumption that a correct analysis of what brings about it must be carried out in advance in order to prevent and cope with school violence, For that, an ecological heuristic model of factors related to school violence devised by Benbenishty and Astor(2005), who were greatly influenced by the ecological developmental theory of Bronfenbrenner(1979), was briefly introduced. On the basis of this model the author classified school violence factors into school-level factors, individual factors, family-level factors, and community contextual factors and examined relevant literature and preceding studies. Through this discussion a conclusion was drawn that, because school violence occurs not by one cause but by various causes including school, individual, family, community related factors, and it can be called 'a synthetic violence type', it is necessary to set up synthetic measures against these factors on a long-term basis. It also was concluded that only when schools, homes and societies free from factors inducing school violence are built, the countermeasures against school violence will be truly effective.

To measure the level of cyberbullying perpetration, the Bullying/Victimization Questionnaire was used. School violence victimization and self-control were measured via the School Violence Victimization Scale and the Self-Control Scale, respectively. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and hierarchical regressions. Results and Conclusion: The results indicated that school bullying victimization level increased cyberbullying perpetration level whereas self-control level decreased cyberbullying perpetration. In addition, self-control moderated the effect of school violence victimization on cyberbullying perpetration. That is, the influence of school bullying victimization on cyberbullying perpetration was greater when self-control was low, compared to when it was high.
The aim of this study is to identify factors that the victimization by family violence has influence on peer violence perpetration through the mediation of anxiety and aggression in out-of-school youths. Subjects consist of 169 out-of-school youths in Chungbuk and data are analyzed by regression analysis with 18.0 version. The findings of this study are as follows. First, the victimization by family violence has positive influence on peer violence perpetration. Second, when the mediating effect of anxiety and aggression is tested, aggression only plays a mediating role between family violence victimization and peer violence behavior. On the basis of the results, this study suggest that we make efforts such as prompt intervention for out-of-school youths and their's family after school dropout, the reinforcement of family relationship, family function and youth competency, and the transition of social perception regarding out-of-school youths to decrease family and peer violence.

School violence that have occurred recently, showing a tendency to collectivization and diverse types of violence, as well as the quality and increase the damage levels. School violence in the home, school, and social factors, but is caused by the lack of awareness about the violence and the reporting of consciousness due to poor acts of violence indirectly assisted. The only place violence has caused the school to establish the legal and institutional arrangements in order to minimize school violence have no choice but to limit its effectiveness is negligible. The problem of school violence in connection with the problem of juvenile crime prevention and control, and punishment should be made of the complex and layered. Operation and School police system, School safety keeper system, school sheriff system since 2005, each municipality in order to minimize school violence, but have no practical help to limit the visible and symbolic effects. Nonexistent professional staff of the institution or school safety monitors emphasis on monitoring the physical state of the system in the form of 'guards' departure inherently have limitations. Also, to prevent criminal acts or violence in the state is not given special privileges and the appropriate role for the school keeper is a problem with the system. Report no other role can not be expected. Should therefore be preceded by a systematic improvement and training of experts in order to prevent school violence, and home and school, in terms of social support and measures.
Objectives: Recent research indicates a potential association between workplace violence and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the working-age population. However, the relevant evidence in the United States is sparse. Thus, this study was conducted to explore the possible relationship between workplace violence and CVD among United States workers. Methods: We utilized cross-sectional data from the 2015 National Health Interview Survey, which included a representative sample of 18 380 workers, to investigate the associations between workplace violence and the prevalence of CVD using logistic regression. Workplace violence was determined based on self-reported threats, bullying, or harassment at work over the past 12 months, supplemented with additional information regarding frequency. CVD included all forms of heart disease and stroke. Results: A total of 1334 workers reported experiences of workplace violence, and 1336 workers were diagnosed with CVD. After adjustment for covariates, participants who reported any instance of workplace violence had significantly higher odds of having CVD (odds ratio [OR], 1.76; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.35 to 2.30) than those who reported no such violence. Furthermore, the highest odds of CVD (OR, 1.80; 95% CI, 1.23 to 2.63) were observed among those frequently exposed to workplace violence. Even occasional exposure to workplace violence was associated with 74% excess odds of CVD. Conclusions: Our study indicates an association between workplace violence and CVD in United States workers, exhibiting a dose-response pattern.
Objective: This study aims to thoroughly analyze the correlation effect size between domestic violence and school violence by meta-analyzing previous studies on the correlation between school and domestic violence. Methods: For this purpose, meta-analysis was performed on the selected research material, which consists of national research data collected from various databases from 2001 to April, 2019. 16 thesis and 9 papers on the correlation between school and domestic violence were selected. A random effect model analysis based on the homogeneity examination results was performed on the selected data. Results: The results showed, just as Cohen (1977) proposed, that the correlation effect size between domestic and school violence was 0.25, which is moderate. This is a somewhat lower number than the previous studies on the same subject presented. Of the sub-categories of domestic violence, physical violence and psychological violence appeared to have a correlation effect size of 0.34 and 0.28, respectively, with physical violence showing the highest correlation effect size. Of the types of domestic violence, witnessing spouse violence and experiencing neglect appeared to have a moderate correlation size effect of 0.24. All of these results were statistically significant. Conclusion/Implications: This study utilized meta-analysis as a comprehensive and systematic method to analyze the correlation effect between domestic and school violence. The results presented may lead to discussions on the subject's social implications, limits, and propositions for future studies.
The purpose of this study is to see the effects of school climate on school violence and fears of attending school. The direct relationship between school climates and fears of attending school will be examined, as well as the indirect and mediated effects of school violence in that school climates influence the fears of attending school. A theoretical model of the relationships of school climates, school violence, and fears of attending school will be given. The subjects of the surveys were chosen from 12 junior high schools in the Seoul, Gyeonggi area through convenience sampling. 1,317 surveys were then analyzed. School climates directly affect the fear of going to school through the mediums of peer and teacher violence. The derived results stress the necessity of improving school climates in order to reduce violence from peers and teachers and to reduce fear of attending school.
