암환자의 긍정성 증진을 위한 블렌디드 건강코칭 교육프로그램 프로토타입 개발 및 적용 (Developing and Pilot-Testing Blended Learning Program Prototypes for Health Coaching to Support Positive Growth of Cancer Patients)

  • This study aimed to develop and pilot-test educational program prototypes of training health coaches to help cancer patients overcome crises and create positive growth. For this purpose, the educational contents and methods of the blended learning program prototypes were derived through learner needs and literature analysis. The prototypes, which consist of introducing of health management and health information and understanding and practice of basic coaching and health coaching, were developed to integrate with four sessions of face-to-face, off-line classes, training practices through 12 tele-classes, and use of online learning system. The prototypes were conducted and pilot-tested by a total of 35 students selected through the document screening and the interview. After participating in the blended learning program, learners expressed greater overall satisfaction with each session program (average score = 4.36, with 5 being most satisfied), satisfaction with learning contents (average score=4.42) satisfaction with course preparation (average score = 4.26) and satisfaction with lecture materials (average score = 4.19). The results of this study show that a systematic and integrative approach for designing a blended learning program can be useful for various educational needs in health and medical fields. In the future, empirical studies are expected to see how these curricula are actually implemented and assess whether the intended learning outcomes are achieved.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference and influence of educational institutions and majors on education service quality, learning satisfaction, and educational institution loyalty, and to provide information on an Academic Credit Bank System appropriate for the two types of education institutions and learners. Looking at the difference in education service quality, learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty, Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities showed positive awareness compared to Job Technical colleges. Especially, differences in awareness regarding quality of education facilities were largest, followed by educational institution loyalty and learning satisfaction. Looking at the difference in awareness according to educational institution and majors, learners at Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities had positive awareness compared to Job Technical colleges in terms of quality of facilities, learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty. No difference was found according to major. Looking at the effect of awareness of education service quality on learning satisfaction and educational institution loyalty, factors of education service quality affected learning satisfaction in the order of education>administration>facilities for Lifelong Education Organizations of Universities, and the effect on educational institution loyalty was found in the order of administration> education with no effect shown by facilities. For learners at Job Technical colleges, factors of education service quality affected learning satisfaction in the order of administration>education>facilities. Influence on loyalty to educational institution was found in the order of administration>facilities>education.

이러닝 학습성과에 미치는 영향 관계 분석에 관한 연구 (A study of an analysis into effects and relations on learning performance from e-learning)

  • The objective of this study is to seek ways to maximize learning effects from e-learning by drawing improvement directions through investigating and analyzing an awareness of e-learning among e-learning attendees. The study was conducted among the attendees who are taking the e-learning program operated by K University and collected data from the students taking second semester in 2018 with the use of structured questionnaires. For data processing, SPSS Statistics 22.0 and AMOS were used, along with such analytical methods as frequency anslysis, descriptive statistical analysis, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), t-analysis and cross tabulation. For significant data, it conducted an analysis by carrying out the Scheffe's test. According to the findings from this study, they showed a significant difference only in gender and curriculum desired to be opened in the question about e-learning participation motives per background factor. As for the learners' motives to study, it was confirmed that they tend to become more biased on time utilization and convenience of learning methods. The analysis of which factor of the three - learning factors, system factors and instructor's factors - has greatest effects on learning satisfaction indicated that learning factors influenced learning satisfaction the most in accordance with values for non-standard coefficient beta, followed by instructor factors which had a direct effect.

융복합시대 간호대학생의 협동학습수업 몰입상태에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors influencing flow state of cooperative learning among nursing students: in convergence era)

  • 본 연구는 융복합시대의 간호대학생에게 협동학습수업 몰입상태에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 자료는 2015년 4월부터 6월까지 총 6주간 간호학과 신입생 2개 학급 93명으로부터 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 기술통계, Pearson's correlation coefficient를 실시하였으며 몰입상태에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 협동학습수업 몰입상태는 전공만족도, 협동학습수업 만족도와 상관관계가 있었다. 전공만족도와 협동학습수업 만족도가 협동학습수업 몰입상태의 예측요인으로 설명력은 65.4%이었으며 협동학습 수업만족도가 몰입상태에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 이는 몰입상태를 최대화시키기 위한 교수법 적용의 근거를 제시해주고 있다.

  • 인터넷의 급격한 발전으로 교육환경$\cdot$방법에 대한 새로운 패러다임 창출요구가 증가하고 있으며 전통적인 교육산업도 교육의 전 분야에서 이론 활용한 e-teaming이 많은 분야에서 도입되었고, 빠른 속도로 그 영역이 확장되고 있다. 이러한 e-learning 확산 노력에 힘입어 그동안 e-learning의 학습자 만족도에 대한 연구도 많이 진행되어 왔지만 기업체를 대상으로 한 연구가 거의 대부분이었고 고등학교를 대상으로 한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 고등학생을 대상으로 한 e-learning 교육만족도 평가를 위한 모델을 제안하고, 제안한 모델을 대상으로 퍼지구조 모델링법을 이용하여 고등학생의 e-learning 교육 만족도에 관한 의식구조를 분석하였다. 또한, 의식구조분석의 결과가 고려된 평가모델을 구축하여 e-learning 교육 만족도를 평가하고, 민감도분석을 통하여 e-learning 교육만족도 향상 방안을 제시 하였다.

The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Job Satisfaction: A Case Study of SME Management Consultants in Korea

  • SMEs are constantly demanded of changes in the rapidly-evolving business environment, which involves the fourth industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, management consulting service becomes more in demand to provide technical and strategic solutions for management problems. This study aimed to empirically analyze the direct effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the indirect effects of such parameters as learning agility and self-efficacy on job satisfaction in management consultants. On the basis of a literature review, inter-variable association was designed in the research model. Based on an online survey of those in the Korean SME management consultants, this study collected 221 questionnaires then used structural equation modeling for statistical analysis. The results reveal that emotional intelligence significantly affected job satisfaction and, also significantly positively affected learning agility and self-efficacy. In addition, a significant indirect correlation could be found between learning agility and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, if learning agility and self-efficacy mediated job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had no significant effect on job satisfaction and fully mediated learning agility and self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop an emotional intelligence education program that can help management consultants improve their emotional intelligence with the objective of giving successful management consulting services.

Relationships among Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction, and Learning Organization Culture in One Korean Private Organization

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and learning organization culture. This study was conducted in five sub-organizations of one Korean conglomerate company. One thousand employees were randomly and proportionately selected, with 669 useable cases obtained, for a response rate of 67%. The organizational commitment instrument used from the "affective, continuance, and normative commitment" scale (ACNCS) of Allen and Meyer (1990). The "Dimensions of Learning Organization Questionnaire" of Watkins and Marsick (1997) was used to measure learning organization culture. The short form MSQ (Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire), developed by Weiss, Dawis, England, and Lofquist (1967), was the third instrument used. Descriptive statistics, correlational statistics, and inferential statistics (ANOVA and t-tests) were used. Organizational commitment (except for continuance) is moderately and positively related to job satisfaction and moderately and positively related to learning organization culture. In addition, learning organization culture is weakly to moderately and positively related to job satisfaction. No differences by age were found. Four-year college graduates are more likely to have higher creating continuous learning opportunities in learning organization culture than graduate school degree holders. Males are likely to have higher affective and continuance organizational commitment than females. Employees working in R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing (REM) are likely to have higher continuance organizational commitment than do other types of jobs. Employees are more likely to have higher learning organization culture and job satisfaction than assistant managers. Assistant managers have higher continuance organizational commitment than managers. Managers generally have higher organizational commitment, learning organization culture, job satisfaction than assistant managers. They also have higher learning organization culture than employees. Employees who had worked for less than four years in their current job and organization have higher promoting inquiry and dialogue in learning organization culture than those who have worked for ten years or more. Employees in the insurance organization have higher affective organizational commitment, learning organization culture, and job satisfaction than those of the other organizations. Finally, employees of the electronic company have higher continuance organizational commitment in learning organization culture than those of other companies. In summary, this research enables CEOs and HRD and HRM practitioners to view organizational commitment, learning organization culture, and job satisfaction as important variables in exploring diverse ranges of topics related to the workplace. And then, they can diversely apply their management, interventions and practices to fit these diverse characteristics.

블랜디드 러닝 환경에서 수업만족 영향요인의 구조적 모델 연구 (A Study on the Structural Equation Model for Students' Satisfaction in the Blended Leaning Environment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 블랜디드 러닝 학습 환경을 경험한 학습자를 대상으로 수업 만족에 영향을 주는 요인들을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 통하여 전통적 수업의 장점과 온라인 수업의 장점을 접목시킨 최근의 블랜디드 러닝 학습 환경을 대학 수업에 적용한 사례를 통해 학습자의 만족도와 관련 변인들과의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 '교육방법 및 교육공학'의 교직 수업에 참여하고 설문에 응답한 56명을 대상으로 하였다. 설문을 통하여 응답한 결과를 바탕으로 요인분석과 구조방정식 모델을 통해 학습동기, 사전경험, 정보활용능력, 자기조절학습능력, 학습만족도들 간의 관계를 탐색하였다. 연구결과 (a) '학습동기'와 (b) '사전경험'은 '자기조절학습능력'에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 (c) '자기조절학습능력'은 '학습만족도'에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 수업만족도에 영향을 미치는 구조모델을 제안하였다.

학습포트폴리오 프로그램에서 학습포트폴리오의 완성도가 대학생의 학업 성취도 및 프로그램 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Completeness of the Learning-portfolio on Academic Achievement and Program Satisfaction of College Students Participating in the Learning-portfolio Program)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학습포트폴리오 프로그램에서 학습포트폴리오의 완성도가 참여 대학생의 학업성취도와 프로그램 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는 것이다. 이에 따른 연구문제는 학습포트폴리오 완성도는 학습포트폴리오 연계 교과의 성적, 전체 성적, 그리고 프로그램 만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는가이다. 이를 위해 수강동기 점검지, 주차별 학습일지, 학습성찰 보고서의 완성도를 평가하는 학습포트폴리오 평가 도구를 개발하였다. 이 연구를 수행하기 위해 학습포트폴리오에 참여한 대학생 389명을 대상으로 학습포트폴리오 연계 교과 성적 및 전체 성적(GPA), 그리고 프로그램 만족도 조사결과를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 학습포트폴리오 완성도 점수는 학습포트폴리오 연계 교과의 성적 뿐 아니라, 전체 성적 향상에 유의한 영향을 주었으며, 학습포트폴리오 프로그램 만족도를 높이는 데에도 기여하였다. 이상의 결과는 학습포트폴리오 프로그램의 효과를 높이기 위해 학생들이 제출하는 학습포트폴리오의 질 관리가 중요함을 시사한다.

Satisfaction of Preparatory Year Students at Umm Al-Qura University with Distance Learning During Covid-19

  • During the past two years, the education systems in the world witnessed unprecedented turmoil due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, as most schools and universities in the world closed their doors to more than 1.5 billion students, or more than 90% of the total learners, according to recent figures issued by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics. Education experts have agreed that post- coronavirus education will not be the same as before, especially with the increasing use of modern technology in education. One of the most important new patterns with a structure digital in education is distance education, this style has been used, in many countries of the world, as an alternative to traditional education, since the beginning of the pandemic. In Saudi Arabia, this type of education has been used in all educational institutions, starting from kindergarten until the postgraduate level, as an alternative to face-to-face education to preserve the health and safety of students and workers in educational institutions. This study aimed to explore the level of satisfaction of preparatory year students on distance learning in their first year of study at Umm Al-Qura University. The findings of this study showed that students in the preparatory year were satisfied with their online learning experience. In addition, the results revealed that there was no effect for gender and location of study on students' level of satisfaction. Saudi universities should continue to work to create a suitable learning environment for students at the e-learning level.
