  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate factors influencing successful aging in middle-aged women. Methods: A convenience sample of 103 middle-aged women was selected from the community. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, two-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis test, Pearson correlations, Spearman correlations and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Results of regression analysis showed that significant factors influencing successful aging were post-traumatic growth and social support. This regression model explained 48% of the variance in successful aging. Conclusion: Findings show that the concept 'post-traumatic growth' is an important factor influencing successful aging in middle-aged women. In addition, social support from friends/co-workers had greater influence on successful aging than social support from family. Thus, we need to consider the positive impact of post-traumatic growth and increase the chances of social participation in a successful aging program for middle-aged women.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Grit and stress and college adjustment of nursing college students and to confirm the effect of nursing students' adaptation to college life. The study subjects were 145 students who agreed to participate in this study after completing at least one semester of clinical practice. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, Multiple regression analysis. There was a significant positive correlation between college life adaptation and grit (r=.17, p=.047) and a negative correlation between stress and university life (r=-.31, p<.001). Grit and stress had an explanatory power of 11.2% on adaptation to college life(F=9.98, p<.001). The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to improve nursing students' Grit level and to develop effective stress management programs for their adaptation to college life.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate social networks, loneliness, and sleep quality related to health-related quality of life in older adults living alone. Data were collected from 111 community-dwelling elderly. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regressions with IBM SPSS 26.0 program. In multiple regression analysis, physical component summary (PCS) was predicted by the level of education (β=.20, p=.020), social networks (β=.31, p=.012), and sleep quality (β=-.23, p=.011). The model including these variables accounted for 25.7% of the variance in the PCS. Mental component summary (MCS) was predicted by loneliness (β=-.37, p=.004). Loneliness accounted for 31.7% of the variance in the MCS. In order to enhance the health-related quality of life of the older adults living alone, the intervention program to resolve social isolation should be provided for them.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate nursing students' learning agility and confirm the mediating effect of self-leadership in the relationship between achievement motivation and learning agility. Methods: The study design was a descriptive survey design. The subjects were third- and fourth-year nursing students attending three universities in one region. Data were collected from November 28, 2019, to May 25, 2020, and a total of 202 data were collected using the scale of achievement motivation, self-leadership, and learning agility. Data analysis included frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS 25.0 statistics 25.0 software. The mediating effect of self-leadership was analyzed through regression analysis and bootstrapping using process macro ver. 3.4.1. Results: Self-leadership's partial mediating effect was confirmed in achievement motivation and learning agility. Achievement motivation was found to affect directly learning agility, with an indirect effect through self-leadership. Conclusion: The study results showed that nursing students could increase their learning agility through self-leadership improvement. Future research should focus on identifying the factors influencing nursing students' learning agility and develop and apply programs to improve learning agility.

We provide basic data for future personal color and beauty industry development and image consulting. This study surveyed male and female subjects 20-50 years of age nationwide, using a Google questionnaire. The survey lasted from May 7-26, 2023. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed, of which 256 (130 males, 126 females) were used for the final analysis, insincere responses having been discarded. SPSS 25.0 was used fand a frequency test, exploratory factor analysis, regression analysis, and Cronbach's ? were conducted for statistical results. In addition, descriptive statistics, correlations analysis and regression analysis were conducted. As a result, as personal color makeup consulting satisfaction levels were high, it had a positive effect on confidence, positiveness, favorability, positive tendencies, and sociability, which indicates that personal relations were improved through personal color makeup. It is suggested that, as this study was confined to makeup and the subjects were mainly men, further studies should supplement this focus area of fashion, and the gender balance of study subjects should be adjusted for intensified results.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of community child center service experience on the relationship between peer attachment and school adjustment. For the analysis, data from the 2nd Panel of Community Child Center(2017) were used. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program. As a result, peer attachment(peer trust) has a positive effect on their center experience and school adjustment, and the center experience has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between peer attachment and school adjustment. The relationship with a center teacher and the center service evaluation of the children who use community child center are important factors that affect their school adjustment. Therefore measures should be taken to improve the quality of the community child center programs and its teachers.

The results of this study showed that the young children's problem behavior had a statistically significant positive correlation with Mother's anger(r=.261, p=<.001), and depression(r=.435, p<.001). The multiple regression analysis showed that the factors that significantly affect the young children's problem behavior were depression(𝛽=16.57, p<.001) of the Mother's and the total explanatory power was 19.2%. Therefore, it provided implication for the need to develop parent education program to support the reduction of depression factors along with the emotional support Mother's.

  • This study aimed to analyze the effects of handbills from the food-service industry on the marketing performance. In this study, an independent variable was one of the evaluation factors of handbills while performance variables were general satisfaction of handbills and repurchase intention. For the analysis methods, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed with SPSS 12.0. As a result of analyses, it was revealed that general satisfaction of handbills by advertisement evaluation factors was partly significant. Second, it was found that a product purchase intention by advertisement evaluation factors was not mostly influential. Even though the findings of this study, it is expected that this study, which attempted an exploratory study on handbills of the food-service industry, will be used for future advertisement analyses of the food-service industry and as basic information on the advertisement effect.

  • Purpose: This study was done to assess the level of physical activity among Chinese immigrant women and to determine the relationships of physical activity with individual characteristics and behavior-specific cognition. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with 161 Chinese immigrant women living in Busan. A health promotion model of physical activity adapted from Pender's Health Promotion Model was used. Self-administered questionnaires were used to collect data during the period from September 25 to November 20, 2012. Using SPSS 18.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were done. Results: The average level of physical activity of the Chinese immigrant women was $1,050.06{\pm}686.47$ MET-min/week and the minimum activity among types of physical activity was most dominant (59.6%). As a result of multiple regression analysis, it was confirmed that self-efficacy and acculturation were statistically significant variables in the model (p<.001), with an explanatory power of 23.7%. Conclusion: The results indicate that the development and application of intervention strategies to increase acculturation and self-efficacy for immigrant women will aid in increasing the physical activity in Chinese immigrant women.
