On a Reverse Hardy-Hilbert's Inequality

  • This paper deals with a reverse Hardy-Hilbert's inequality with a best constant factor by introducing two parameters ${\lambda}$ and ${\alpha}$. We also consider the equivalent form and the analogue integral inequalities. Some particular results are given.

유아의 언어능력 및 정서조절능력과 어머니의 양육행동이 유아의 또래유능성과 또래공격행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Preschool Children's Language Ability, Emotion Regulation, and Mothers' Parenting Behavior on Peer Competence and Aggressive Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mothers' parenting behavior, preschool children's language ability and emotion regulation on peer competence and aggressive behavior. The subjects were 100 preschool children (49 girls and 51 boys; mean age, 70.30 months), their mothers and teachers, recruited from five daycare centers located in Gyeonggi-do area. Each child's language ability was assessed individually with the standardized measure, the Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale and their teachers reported on the children's peer competence and aggressive behavior. Their mothers also reported on parenting behavior and their child's emotion regulation by questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed by correlation analysis and hierarchical regression. The main results of this study were as follows. First, preschool children's peer competence was positively related to maternal warmth and children's language ability. Their aggressive behavior was positively related to harsh maternal parenting but negatively related to emotion regulation. Second, hierarchical regression analyses revealed that children's language ability and maternal warmth predicted peer competence. Third, children's gender, emotion regulation, and harsh maternal parenting predicted aggressive behavior. These findings could provide basic information for programs and services to promote peer competence in preschool children.

Wav2vec을 이용한 오디오 음성 기반의 파킨슨병 진단 (Diagnosis of Parkinson's disease based on audio voice using wav2vec)

  • 노년기에 접어들면서 알츠하이머 다음으로 흔한 퇴행성 뇌 질환은 파킨슨병이다. 파킨슨병의 증상은 손 떨림, 행동의 느려짐, 인지기능의 저하 등 일상생활의 삶의 질을 저하시키는 요인이 된다. 파킨슨병은 조기진단을 통하여 병의 진행 속도를 늦출 수 있는 질환이다. 파킨슨병의 조기진단을 위해 오디오 음성 파일 입력으로 wav2vec을 이용하여 특징을 추출하고 딥러닝(ANN)으로 파킨슨병의 유무를 진단하는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 오디오 음성 파일을 이용하여 파킨슨병을 진단하는 실험 결과 정확도는 97.47%로 나타났다. 기존의 뉴럴네트워크를 이용하여 파킨슨병을 진단하는 결과보다 좋은 결과를 나타냈다. 오디오 음성 파일을 wav2vec 이용으로 간단하게 실험을 과정을 줄일 수 있었으며, 실험 결과 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

The Advent of the 19th Century Bicycle and Women's Fashion -Focused on France-

  • This study aimed to examine the changes in women's fashion, focusing on the repercussions that bicycles had on women's life and fashion, centered on France in the 19th century, and then it examines the significance of the period to women's cycling clothing and its contribution to fashion. The research is based on literature and visual materials extracted from 19th century French newspapers, magazines, and posters. As a result of this study, the appearance of bicycles in the 19th century contributed to fashion as follows. First, the need for clothing suitable for outdoor activities promoted development of new designs with practical and functional features. Second, the clothing worn by female cyclists contributed to the introduction and propagation of new clothing, and pioneering wearing trousers. Third, the boom of bicycles in the 1890s led to the expansion of ready-to-wear items in department. The significance of the period to women's cycling clothing in the 19th century France is as follows. First, the era challenged customs and attitudes towards women's bicycle clothing and led to modernization. Second, a new and reasonable clothing design was presented that required a compromise to be accepted by the public. Third, although the clothing reform movement was not active in France, bloomer-style bicycle clothing was popular among fashionable women in Paris, revealing only its visual status as the capital of fashion in the 19th century.

로지스틱 회귀모형과 머신러닝 모형을 활용한 주요산업의 부산 지역총생산 및 고용 효과 예측 (Prediction on Busan's Gross Product and Employment of Major Industry with Logistic Regression and Machine Learning Model)

  • This paper aims to predict Busan's regional product and employment using the logistic regression models and machine learning models. The following are the main findings of the empirical analysis. First, the OLS regression model shows that the main industries such as electricity and electronics, machine and transport, and finance and insurance affect the Busan's income positively. Second, the binomial logistic regression models show that the Busan's strategic industries such as the future transport machinery, life-care, and smart marine industries contribute on the Busan's income in large order. Third, the multinomial logistic regression models show that the Korea's main industries such as the precise machinery, transport equipment, and machinery influence the Busan's economy positively. And Korea's exports and the depreciation can affect Busan's economy more positively at the higher employment level. Fourth, the voting ensemble model show the higher predictive power than artificial neural network model and support vector machine models. Furthermore, the gradient boosting model and the random forest show the higher predictive power than the voting model in large order.

영구치의 치근발육과 맹출시기의 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Classification of the Stage of Root Development and Crown Eruption for Permanent Teeth)

  • This study was performed to investigate the age distribution with tooth calcification and degree of eruption of permanent teeth. For the study, healthy 184 patients from 5 to 19 years old without any previous serious dental treatment were randomly selected, and intraoral standard films and dental casts were taken for evaluation of stage of calcification and degree of eruption, respectively. Tooth calcification of 13 stages, designed by the author based on the Nolla's classification and eruption level of 4 or 5 degree was used. Data were processed by SAS/Stat program and the obtained results were as follows; 1. The age of root completed with open apex in lower posterior teeth were 13.8 years for first premolar, 14.0 years for second premolar, 10.5 years for first molar, and 14.2 years for second molar. There were no significant difference between right and left side. 2. As for the sequence of eruption, first molar was the first teeth erupted in upper arch, while central incisor was the first teeth in lower arch. In general, eruption of lower teeth were slightly earlier than the corresponding teeth of upper arch. 3. There were no difference of age of the same stage of development between Nolla's and the author's classification. From the results, the author's classification can be used for estimation of age with more finely in age of 8 to 15 years old. 4. Multiple regression equations for age with Nolla's(Ns) and the author's(Ks) classification of tooth calcification, and degree of eruption(DE) were as follow; Age(by #34) = 7.55 + 0.76Ks34 + 0.80DE34 - 0.72Ns34 Age(by #35) = 7.10 + 0.81Ks35 + 0.6IDE35 Age(by #37) = 6.61 + 0.82Ks37 + 0.5IDE37. Age(by #44) = 7.02 + 0.62Ks44 + 0.82DE44 Age(by #45) = 8.04 + 0.93Ks45 + 0.64DE45 - 0.89Ns45 Age(by #47) = 6.40 + 0.86Ks47 + 0.56DE47.

A 6b 1.2 GS/s 47.8 mW 0.17 mm2 65 nm CMOS ADC for High-Rate WPAN Systems

  • This paper proposes a 6b 1.2 GS/s 47.8 mW 0.17 $mm^2$ 65 nm CMOS ADC for high-rate wireless personal area network systems. The proposed ADC employs a source follower-free flash architecture with a wide input range of 1.0 $V_{p-p}$ at a 1.2 V supply voltage to minimize power consumption and high comparator offset effects in a nanometer CMOS technology. The track-and-hold circuits without source followers, the differential difference amplifiers with active loads in pre-amps, and the output averaging layout scheme properly handle a wide-range input signal with low distortion. The interpolation scheme halves the required number of pre-amps while three-stage cascaded latches implement a skew-free GS/s operation. The two-step bubble correction logic removes a maximum of three consecutive bubble code errors. The prototype ADC in a 65 nm CMOS demonstrates a measured DNL and INL within 0.77 LSB and 0.98 LSB, respectively. The ADC shows a maximum SNDR of 33.2 dB and a maximum SFDR of 44.7 dB at 1.2 GS/s. The ADC with an active die area of 0.17 $mm^2$ consumes 47.8 mW at 1.2 V and 1.2 GS/s.

돼지에서 역행성 뇌관류 시행 후 혈청 및 소변의 뇌손상 관련지표(S100-$\beta$, Neuron-specific enolase)의 변화 (The Changes of Brain Injury Markers(S100-$\beta$, Neuron-Specific enolase) After Retrograde Cerebral Perfusion Under Total Circulatory Arrest in Pigs)

  • 저자는 이미 120분간의 역행성 뇌관류를 시행하여 이의 안전성에 대한 결과를 발표한 바 있다. 이번 연구는 neuron-specific enolase와 S100 베타 단백의 혈청 및 소변내 농도와의 관계 및 변화를 관찰하고 소변 검체를 통한 뇌손상 조기 검출 가능성에 대하여 규명하고자 계획하였다. 대상 및 방법: 35 kg 돼지를 이용하여 120분간 역행성 뇌관류를 시행한후, 심폐기 이탈을 시행하고 2시간 동안 생존을 유도하였으며, 시간 변화에 따른 동맥 혈압, 경정맥압, 혈청 및 소변내 neuron-specific enolose (NSE) 및 S100베타 단백치를 측정하였다. 역행성 뇌관류 시행 중 중심정맥압은 20~25 mmHg를 유지하였다. 결과: neuron-specific enolase의 혈청농도(ng/$m\ell$)는 마취 유도 시 0.67$\pm$0.18, 심폐기 가동 직후에 0.53$\pm$0.47, 심폐기 가동 후 20분대에 0.44$\pm$0.27, 역행성 뇌관류 20분대에 0.24$\pm$0.09, 40분대에 0.37$\pm$0.35, 60분대에 0.33$\pm$0.21, 80분대에 0.37$\pm$0.22, 100분대에 0.41$\pm$0.23, 120분대에 0.48\ulcorner0.26, 심폐기 재가동후 30분대에 0.42$\pm$0.29, 60분대에 0.35$\pm$0.32, 심폐기 이탈 후 30분대에 0.42$\pm$0.37, 60분대에 0.47$\pm$0.34, 90분대에 0.47$\pm$0.28, 120분대에 0.57$\pm$0.29 로 나타나 역행성 뇌관류 전후에 유의한 변화 양상을 관찰할 수 없었다(ANOVA, p>0.05). 요중 농도(ng/$m\ell$) 또한 역행성 뇌관류 전후에 유의한 변화 양상을 관찰할 수 없었다(ANOVA, p>0.05). 또한 혈중 농도와 요중 농도간의 상관성을 발견할 수 없었다(Pearson correlation, p>0.05). 동일한 측정 시점에서의 S-100 베타 단백 혈청 농도(ng/$m\ell$)는 0.14$\pm$0.08, 0.15$\pm$0.07, 0.22$\pm$0.15, 0.23$\pm$0.07, 0.28$\pm$0.10, 0.40$\pm$0.05, 0.47$\pm$0.03, 0.49$\pm$0.12, 0.43$\pm$0.11, 0.46$\pm$0.15, 0.62$\pm$0.17, 0.77$\pm$0.21, 0.78$\pm$0.23, 0.77$\pm$0.23, 0.82$\pm$0.33으로 뇌관류를 시행한 이후에서 시행이전에 비해 유의하게 상승하였음을 관찰할 수 있었다(ANOVA, p<0.05, post hoc test). S-100 베타 단백의 소변내 농도(ng/$m\ell$)는 역행성 뇌관류 기간을 제외하고 동일한 측정시점에서 측정할 수 있었으며, 심폐기 가동전에 비해 재가동 후 측정치가 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였다(ANOYA, p<0.05). 혈중 측정치와 요중 측정치는 모두 역행성 뇌관류 후 증가하는 양상을 보였으며 의미 있는 상관성을 발견할 수 있었다(Pearson correlation, p<0.05). 결론: 뇌손상 여부를 판단하기 위하여 시행한 검사 중 S-100 베타 단백의 혈청 및 소변에서의 수치는 뇌관류 전보다 유의하게 증가하는 양상을 보였으며 두 검체 사이에는 의미 있는 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 뇌손상의 조기 지표로서 S-100 베타단백을 활용할 수 있는 기초자료가 되었다고 생각되며, 환자를 대상으로 한 임상 연구를 할 수 있는 토대가 되었다고 사료된다.

사파장 백색 발광 다이오드의 발광 특성 (Luminescent Properties of Four-Band White Light Emitting Diodes)

  • 보라색 발광 다이오드에 의해 여기되어 청색, 녹색, 적색을 발광하는 형광체로 각각 $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, ZnCdS:Ag,Cl 형광체를 선택하였다. 보라색 발광 다이오드의 발광에서 형광체에 의해서 완전히 흡수되지 않고 나오는 보라색 발광과 $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, ZnCdS:Ag,Cl 형광체에서 나오는 청색, 녹색, 적색 발광을 조합하여 사파장 백색 발광 다이오드를 만들었다. 사파장 백색 발광 다이오드의 발광 특성을 확인하였다.

Functional Studies of Cysteine Residues in Human Glutathione S-Transferase P1-1 by Site-Directed Mutagenesis

  • To gain further insight into the relationship between structure and function of glutathione S-transferase (GST), the four cysteine mutants, C14S, C47S, C101S and C169S, of human GST P1-1 were expressed in Escherichia coli and purified to electrophoretic homogeneity by affinity chromatography on immobilized glutathione (GSH). The catalytic activities of the four mutant enzymes were characterized with five different substrates as well as by their binding to four different inhibitors. Cys14 seems to participate in the catalytic reaction of GST by stabilizing the conformation of the active-site loop, not in the GSH binding directly. The substitution of Cys47 with serine significantly reduces the affinity of GSH binding, although it does not prevent GSH binding. On the other hand, the substitution of Cys101 with serine appears to change the binding affinity of electrophilic substrate by inducing a conformational change of the $\alpha-helix$ D. Cys169 seems to be important for maintaining the stable conformation of the enzyme. In addition, all four cysteine residues are not needed for the steroid isomerase activity of human glutathione S-transferase P1-1.
