The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between parents' affectionate parenting behavior, preschooler's effortful control, and conscience. In this study, the subjects consisted of 335 preschoolers ($M_{month}=65.86$) and their parents. The major results of this study were as follows. First, there were positive correlations between parents' affectionate parenting behavior, preschooler's effortful control, and conscience. Second, preschooler's effortful control mediated the effects of affectionate parenting behavior upon preschooler's conscience. Third, preschooler's effortful control(Time 1) had effects upon conscience(Time 2). In conclusion, this study revealed that parents' affectionate parenting behavior and preschooler's effortful control can have a significant impact on the level of preschooler's conscience.

The cultivation characteristics of 26 wild strains of Lentinula edodes were investigated for their use as breeding material. Strains NIFoS 68, 136, 1521, 1651, and 2064 showed an above average mycelial growth on potato dextrose agar at 10, 20, and $30^{\circ}C$. NIFoS 411 showed the lowest mycelial growth at $20^{\circ}C$, but the highest growth at $30^{\circ}C$. The rate of weight loss of L. edodes cultivated on sawdust (2 kg) ranged from 13.5 to 47.5%, with the highest rates showed by NIFoS 50 (47.5%), NIFoS 128 (34.5%), and NIFoS 54 (34.4%). Fruiting bodies were produced in nearly all (24/26) strains and productivity ranged from 3 g to 446 g/2 kg medium. Temperature was not significantly correlated with mushroom production or mycelial growth. Larger weight loss correlated strongly with fruit yield. In terms of production, NIFoS 50 (446 g), NIFoS 952 (435 g), and NIFoS 53 (421 g) were useful as breeding material. The NIFoS 667 strain was superior in terms of morphology. NIFoS 670 showed the characteristic yellowish-brown color of fruiting bodies.

A new Galvanomagnetic electrorootive force effect of $Ni_{53}-Fe_{47}$ thin films is studied. The dependence of this effect on $\theta$, angle between the current and the magnetic field, is found to be the form of sin $2\theta$, in contrast with that of the magneto resistance effect cas $2\theta$ and that of the Hall effect sin $\theta$. Property of this effect is that lthe rate of the voltage variation depending on the magnetic field is extremely large as compared with the magnetiresistance effect. It is theoretically confirmed that this effect is well understood on the basis of the two carrier types model.

The object of this study is to develop simulation model using GASS for analyzing complex agricultural marketing. It's hard to analyze agricultural marketing system which consists of many marketing unit by economic mathematical model. This paper proposes simulation model based on GASS which can reduce complexity of system, and applies the national average wholesale cost and retail cost of alpine Chinese cabbage at 2001, 2002 to proposed simulation model.

Kim and Park investigated the distribution of zeros around the unit circle of real self-reciprocal polynomials of even degrees with five terms, where the absolute value of middle coefficient equals the sum of all other coefficients. In this paper, we extend some of their results to the same kinds of polynomials with arbitrary many nonzero terms.

Asymptotic behavior of three-dimensional mixed, periodic and rotating magnetohydrodynamic system is investigated as the Rossby number goes to zero. The system presents the difficulty to be singular and mixed, that is hyperbolic in the vertical direction and parabolic in the horizontal one. The divergence free condition and the spectral properties of the penalization operator are crucial in the proofs. The main tools are the energy method, the Schochet's method and products laws in anisotropic Sobolev spaces.

Some new $\check{C}$eby$\check{s}$ev type inequalities have been developed by working on functions whose first derivatives are absolutely continuous and the second derivatives belong to the usual Lebesgue space $L_{\infty}[a,\;b]$. A unified treatment of the special cases is also given.
