The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationships of perceived value, price sensitivity, and satisfaction between brand image and purchase intention of consumers who have experience of overseas direct purchase. This study collected questionnaires used to analyze these structural relationships. Using the R's plspm package, we analyzed the PLS (partial least squares) structural equation model. In order to examine the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity, the research model was modified and analyzed. As a result, not only the adoption of the research hypothesis, but also the goodness of fit was higher than before the research model modifying, and the relationship between perceived value and price sensitivity was further verified. The modified research model has higher academic value, so it is necessary to select it as the final proposal model.

Innovation is broadly defined as the creation or adoption of new ideas and technologies, which has become an instrumental tool to determine the success and development level of a country as it leads to competitiveness and productivity of companies. Innovation is influenced by many factors including geographic and socio-economic factors as well as a political framework. In fact, innovation is systemic in nature, and it focuses on interactions amongst a nexus of processes such as Research and Development (R&D), production, business, and education, amongst other factors. However, not all innovation ecosystems have the same architectural models or internal collaboration. This paper aims to review the structure of the National Innovation Ecosystem by highlighting the different actions taken by the Government of Mauritius over the years. The multipronged approach of the government will be demonstrated through the different lines of actions to boost the innovation culture and offers a foundation for other small island developing state to follow to be at par with other innovative economies.

The development of neural networks is evolving towards the adoption of transformer structures with attention modules. Hence, active research focused on extending the concept of lightweight neural network algorithms and hardware acceleration is being conducted for the transition from conventional convolutional neural networks to transformer-based networks. We present a survey of state-of-the-art research on lightweight neural network algorithms and hardware architectures to reduce memory usage and accelerate both inference and training. To describe the corresponding trends, we review recent studies on token pruning, quantization, and architecture tuning for the vision transformer. In addition, we present a hardware architecture that incorporates lightweight algorithms into artificial intelligence processors to accelerate processing.

The effectiveness of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes has been recognized by the industry and owners are beginning to adopt Triple Bottom Line accounting practices, to enhance economic performance and environmental and social performance. However, the widespread and practical application of Green BIM remains largely unrealized. The authors identify that lack of understanding of the applicability of sustainability metrics to BIM design process is a significant barrier to this adoption. Through literature review this paper outlines the various sustainability metrics available to construction and elaborates on the potential of BIM for sustainable design. The paper maps and correlates applicable concepts of sustainability evaluation systems to BIM and describes the constraints in current BIM tools.

The study aims to investigate the factors pursuing the women entrepreneurs to accept Islamic microfinance (IMF) in urban and rural areas of Malaysia. For this purpose, the study applies the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Innovation and Diffusion Theory to explain Islamic microfinance adoption. Using the structural equation model (SEM) with primary data collected from 384-woman entrepreneurs in Malaysia, the current study uses a 5-point Likert scale. On the basis of theory and collected data, the seven hypotheses are developed. All hypotheses are validated by both directly and indirectly, as well as through a mediating factor. Among the factors, knowledge about IMF and subjective norms significantly influence the acceptance of IMF. On the other hand, the perceived complexity does not show any substantial relationship to the acceptance of IMF. This outcome will be helpful in supporting policymakers, academics, and future studies and must take into account the supported factors. Therefore, the study contributes to develop an innovative framework, to create self-employment for women entrepreneurs.

The shift in the medical paradigm from treatment to prevention and diagnosis has underscored the growing significance of biosensors. Notably, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has spurred the widespread adoption of biosensors for the detection of viral genes and antigens. Consequently, there has been a substantial increase in both the demand for biosensors and the industries associated with their production. Furthermore, biosensors find applications not only in healthcare but also in diverse fields such as environmental monitoring, food quality control, military defense, and industrial processes. In this brief review, we delve into the essential attributes of biosensors, namely sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. We provide an overview of the latest research trends aimed at improving these attributes. Additionally, we introduce recent research cases in which these attributes are being applied both in vivo and in vitro.

As FTAs are introduced, greater trade between the countries results in more disputes between parties to the agreement. Disputes in international trade have previously been settled mainly through international arbitration. However, with the recent rise in negative aspects of the arbitration system, the international community has begun to seek ways to utilize mediation for replacing the arbitration system. Mediation is a dispute settlement system that helps the parties settle their disputes on their own through negotiations. The UNCITRAL, which seeks to unify and develop international trade law, amended the Model Mediation Law in 2018 and adopted the 'United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation' in August 2019 to enable the adoption of the international settlement agreement. This study analyzes the main contents of the 2018 Model Mediation Law and predicts the potential for the development of international commercial mediation as a dispute settlement procedure for future international trade.

Park Geun-Hye Administration declares "Happy Korea, a New Era of Hope" as the administrative vision. 'The orientation to Happy Korea' includes the meanings of both improving the quality of life directly and solving the social problems. It is the Happy Korea-oriented technology that can solve the social problems. The Happy Korea-oriented technology is closely connected to a concept of 'platform' because it makes an impact on providers and customers, in turn, their transactions can offer convenience to the third party. Therefore this study explores the issues of the adoption of the Happy Korea-oriented software platform. In order to achieve this research objective, we firstly make literature review and interview field experts. Three issues of the adoption of the Happy Korea-oriented software platform are drawn: economy, technology, and human resource. In addition, we present some policy directions for implementing and diffusing the Happy Korea-oriented software platform.

The progress of Information Technology enables people can communicate each others using the Internet. As a smartphone proliferates, many free mobile VoIP(Voice over IP) application are developed and accepted by smartphone users. In this study we investigate the factors affecting the acceptance of mobile VoIP applications and the structural relationship among these factors. We review the related works and extract the related factors and build a research model describing the causal relationship among these factors. We conduct an empirical study - a survey and statistical analysis - to verify the research model. EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) is applied for variables in the survey and SEM(Structural Equation Model) is used to reveal the structural relationship among the factors. We can find that two factors - usefulness of mobile VoIP and social influence - positively affect usage intention and actual use. These findings imply that it is required to emphasize the benefits of mobile VoIP use and add S/W functionalities enhancing social influence.

In recent years, SNS (Social Network Service) has spread globally and general corporate' utilization of SNS is gradually increasing. Accordingly, the scope of utilizing SNS is expanding not only as a simple publicity of products and services but also as a communication tool among the company members, the customer service and the product development, etc. This study is examining the related cases classified by the premier activities and the supportive activities of the private companies' viewpoints of utilizing the SNS. Based on this study results, we are proposing the strategic considerations for the private companies' SNS adoption by synthesizing the results of the analytical researches of the SNS cases that support the companies' value chain and the considerations of companies' utilization of the SNS that are proposed by the various private companies' research laboratories.
