It is shown that the Mayer-Vietoris sequence holds for the cohomology of complexes of Lie algebroids which are defined on simplicial complexes and satisfy the compatibility condition concerning restrictions to the faces of each simplex. The Mayer-Vietoris sequence will be obtained as a consequence of the extension lemma for piecewise smooth forms defined on complexes of Lie algebroids.

In this paper, the generalized SOR-like methods are presented for solving the saddle point problems. Based on the SOR-like methods, we introduce the uncertain parameters and the preconditioned matrixes in the splitting form of the coefficient matrix. The necessary and sufficient conditions for guaranteeing its convergence are derived by giving the restrictions imposed on the parameters. Finally, numerical experiments show that this methods are more effective by choosing the proper values of parameters.

The estimation of lifetimes are examined when the distribution of lifetimes are Weibull. It is assumed that, due to physical restrictions and/or economic requirements, the lifetimes are investigated only at certain time intervals during the test period with 'mixed replacement' experiment, even though it is well known that 'with replacement' experiment produces better accuracy than 'without replacement' one. The maximum likelihood estimators are derived through the iterative method like as Lawless(1982). Also Cramer-Rao lower bounds are found as the asymptotic variances of the estimates.

The objective of this paper is to design the dynamic route guidance system(DRGS) and develop a genetic algorithm(GA) for finding the multiple shortest paths in real traffic network. The proposed GA finds a collection of paths between source and destination considering turn-restrictions, U-turn, and P-turn that are genetically evolved until an acceptable solution is reached. This paper also shows the procedure to find the multiple shortest paths in traffic network of Seoul.

In this paper, an attempt is made to derive the variation equatios of the discharge current and the luminous flux for flourescent lamp subjected to a transverse magnetic field. As the field increases, so do the electric field, the electron temperature, and the luminous flux, while the current decreases. The theory is in a reasonable agreement with the experimental results, taking account of many approximations and restrictions.

The propulsive strategy of the 3rd five-year plan can be summarized into three parts; firstly, it is to divert from the technical approach, such as law reform, and to focus more on the culture in order to transform the perspectives of the employers and the employees. Secondly, it is to provide distinct policies for the areas prone to industrial accidents. Thirdly, the central government needs to seek decentralization and become a promoter of the strategy by abandoning its former restrictions, providing data about the strategy and building infrastructure.

This paper considers the routing problem in session-based communication network, particularly where the pattern of message transmission is characterized by non-bifurcated traffic flows. Due to the discreteness property of its solution space, the problem is formulated as normalized mlticommodity network flows with integer restrictions and an effective penalty system is suggested to solve it. To show its effectiveness, a simple example and a preliminary computational experience are provided. Finally, numerous application areas of the algorithm are suggested.

When the linear growth birth and death process observed at a set of equidistant time points, McNeil and Weiss (1997) present a method for simultaneously estimating the Malthusian parameter and the sum of the two parameters under wery restricted assumptions using a diffusion approximation. This article suggests a method, which does not require the restrictions given by Weiss, for estimating simultaneously the Malthusian parameter and the sum of the two parameters.

This study has adapted a genetic algorithm for an optimal design for the first time. the models that was used a simulation are the first and second order response surfaces model, Using an genetic algorithm in D-opimal it is more efficient than previous algorithms to get an object function. Not like other algorithm without any restrictions like troublesome about the initial solution not falling into a local optimal solution it's the most suitable algorithm.
