전기자동차의 유리를 통한 커패시티브 커플링 LLC 무선 전력 전송 컨버터 (Capacitive Coupling LLC Wireless Power Transfer Converter Through Glasses of Electric Vehicles)

  • This work proposes a capacitive coupling-based wireless battery charging circuit that is built with vehicle glasses for electric vehicles. A capacitive coupling wireless power transfer offers many advantages, such as low metal impact and low energy transfer efficiency changes in accordance with changes in position. However, a large coupling capacitor is needed for high power transfer. Therefore, a new capacitive coupling-based wireless power transfer LLC resonant converter built with the glasses of an electric vehicle is proposed. The proposed converter is composed of coupling capacitors with glasses of an electric vehicle and two transformers for impedance transformation. The proposed LLC converter can transfer large power and obtain high efficiency with zero voltage switching. The validity and features of the proposed circuit is verified by experimental results with a 1.2 kW prototype.

Asymmetrical Pulse-Width-Modulated Full-Bridge Secondary Dual Resonance DC-DC Converter

  • A full-bridge secondary dual-resonant DC-DC converter using the asymmetrical pulse-width modulated (APWM) strategy is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter achieves zero-voltage switching for the power switches and zero-current switching for the rectifier diodes in the whole load range without the help of any auxiliary circuit. Given the use of the APWM strategy, a circulating current that exists in a traditional phase-shift full-bridge converter is eliminated. The voltage stress of secondary rectifier diodes in the proposed converter is also clamped to the output voltage. Thus, the existing voltage oscillation of diodes in traditional PSFB converters is eliminated. This paper presents the circuit configuration of the proposed converter and analyzes its operating principle. Experimental results of a 1 kW 385 V/48 V prototype are presented to verify the analysis results of the proposed converter.

  • A fast switching gate driver suitable for high performance self resonant electronic ballasts is presented. The proposed gate driver has negligible switching loss and driving loss owing to pnpn structure and zero voltage switching( ZVS ); moreover, the gate driver has frequency control capability. Therefore, a self resonant inverter using proposed gate driver can operate as external exciting resonant inverters. The experiments confirm that the proposed gate driver perform the desired operations over full power control range for 40W fluorescent lamp electronic ballast.

단일단 부스트 입력방식의 공진형 AC/DC 컨버터 (Single stage Boost Input Type Resonant AC/DC Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 형태의 부스트 입력방식의 공진형 AC/DC 컨버터를 제안하였다. 제안된 컨버터는 교류 전원측의 역률개선과 컨버터 출력전압을 동시에 제어하는 단일단 역률 개선방식으로써 전류 연속모드 펄스폭 변조방식을 통해 99%의 고역률을 얻을 수 있으며, 변압기 누설 인덕턴스와 공진 커패시터간의 공진을 이용하여 영전압스위칭을 구현할 수 있기 때문에 스위칭 손실을 줄일 수 있다. 제안된 컨버터의 이론적 고찰을 위해 각 모드별 전류로를 통해 동작을 설명하였으며, 정상상태에서의 DC해석을 이용한 공진특성 분석을 하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 컨버터의 유효성 확인을 위해 입력 $120[V_AC],\; 출력\; 48[V_DC],\; 4[A]\; 200[W]$급 프로토타입 컨버터를 제작하였으며 실험을 통해 얻은 결과를 제시함으로써 이를 증명하였다.

  • This paper proposed a boost input type single stage resonant power supply for driving magnetron device. The proposed power supply can control both input power factor and output power at the same time. Also, because ZVS is achieved using the resonance between leakage inductance and resonant capacitance, switching losses are drastically reduced. To prevent breakdown or moding phenomenon of the magnetron due to excessive starting voltage, variable frequency ignition method is also proposed. Experimental results for the prototype power supply are presented and discussed to verify the validity of the proposed power supply.

  • 본 논문은 복 공진 인버터를 이용한 250[W] MHD 램프용 전자식 안정기를 설계하고 제작하였다. 복 공진 인버터에서 ZVS를 이용함으로써 턴-온${\cdot}$오프 손실을 감소시킬 수 있었고, 회로 해석시 특성평가는 수치해석에 의한 정규화 파라미터를 이용하여 범용성 있게 기술하였다. 실험에 의해 이론해석의 정당성을 입증하였으며, 250[W] MHD 램프용 복 공진 인버터는 안정하게 동작하였다.

  • A half-bridge type resonant current injection type high frequency resonant inverter using ZVS(Zero-Voltage-Switching) used as power source of induction heating at high frequency is presented in this paper. This proposed inverter can reduce distribution of the switching current because of using the current of serial resonant circuit to the input current of the parallel one. The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters, the principle of basic operating and the its characteristics are estimated by the parameters such as switching frequency and load resistance. According to the calculated characteristics value, this paper proves the validity of theoretical analysis through the Pspice.

  • A ZCT(Zero Current Transition) PWM(Pulse-Width-Modulation) boost converter using parallel MOSFET switch is proposed in this paper. The IGBT(main switch) of the proposed converter is always turned on with zero current switching and turned off with zero current/zero voltage switching. The MOSFET(auxiliary switch) is also operates with soft switching condition. In addtion to, the proposed converter eliminates the reverse recovery current of the freewheeling diode by adding the resonant inductor, Lr, in series with the main switch. Therefore, the turn on/turn off switching losses of switches are minimized and the conduction losses by using IGBT switch are reduced. In addition to, using parallel MOSFET switch overcomes the switching frequency limitation occurred by current tail. As mentioned above, the characteristics are verified through experimental results.

Analysis, Design and Implementation of an Interleaved DC/DC Converter with Series-Connected Transformers

  • An interleaved DC/DC converter with series-connected transformers is presented to implement the features of zero voltage switching (ZVS), load current sharing and ripple current reduction. The proposed converter includes two half-bridge converter cells connected in series to reduce the voltage stress of the switches at one-half of the input voltage. The output sides of the two converter cells with interleaved pulse-width modulation are connected in parallel to reduce the ripple current at the output capacitor and to achieve load current sharing. Therefore, the size of the output chokes and the capacitor can be reduced. The output capacitances of the MOSFETs and the resonant inductances are resonant at the transition instant to achieve ZVS turn-on. In addition, the switching losses on the power switches are reduced. Finally, experiments on a laboratory prototype (24V/40A) are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed converter.
