Estimation of Grounding Resistance by Correlation Analysing Change Factors of Soil Resistivity and Grounding Resistance (토양환경 변화와 접지저항의 상관관계 분석을 통한 접지 저항값 예측 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve the grounding point measurement method for the maintenance of the earth resistance of the distribution line. This study defines the correlation among humidity of the soil, the earth resistivity and the grounding resistance. Based on the results of the study, the grounding resistance value measurement should be limited to the location where the earth resistivity change is large, and the measurement time and cost can be greatly reduced.

  • Inter-regional difference in median lethal concentration of Bacillus thuringiensis diamondback moth was disclosed to be high. Pyungchang strain showed at most 41 times resistance compared to KN-IA strain of which $LC_{50}$ value was 5.5 ppm. and Oksan strain Showed 11 times resistance. The JMC strain, susceptible to pyrethroids, also showed 12 times resistance against B.T., suggesting difference in resistance mechanism between pyrethroid and B.t.

  • This paper proposes a new compensation algorithm for stator resistance that is crucial for improving the direct vector control performance of an induction motor. This algorithm is based on the flux estimator that is derived from the stator voltage equation. Since a flux estimator is dependent on the stator resistance, a flux error originates from the variation of the stator resistance. This parameter mismatch in the estimator thereafter affects the flux and torque response. Accordingly, a new compensator has been designed to offset this degradation in the responses. The proposed compensator is very simple to implement and does not require any modifications to the motor model or any special interruptions of the controller. The value of the stator resistance is attained in real time through measuring the terminal voltage and current. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme has been confirmed through both simulation and experimentation.

  • This paper deals with the improvement of electrode installation for measurement of ground resistance through investigation on the spot in buildings. The investigation was carried out for an earthing terminal board for measurement of ground resistance, installation of auxiliary electrode, etc. The criteria value is set up by measuring method of ground resistance in international standard. In case of inadequate installation of auxiliary electrode, a relative error is analyzed and adequate installation method of auxiliary electrode is proposed. As a consequence, it is necessary to write direction of ground and equipment, and separate auxiliary electrode for measurement of ground resistance in order to minimize measuring error.

  • This paper presents the new MR rotary brake with a permanent magnet, based on the shear operating mode. Due to the permanent magnet, the MR rotary brake can give the nominal resistance to the external disturbance and give the fail safe capacity to the system even when the power supply is accidentally cut off. As we apply the positive or negative current to the electric magnet coil, the resistance torque of the MR rotary brake can be reduced to the value less than the nominal resistance or increased up to the magnetic saturation point.

  • In this study, compared the degree of consoildation of vertical drain considering variation of smear effect and well resistance with that of hyperbolic and curve fitting method. It applied Barren, Yoshikuni, Hansbo, Onoue's theory for the consolidation of vertical drain, and compared differences of theoretical curve by comparing with measured value, and finded out the extent of smear effect and well resistance.

  • In this study proposed to rapid and simple methid of test for early evaluation of strength of cement. The obtained results through a series of experiment are summarized as follow. The resistance ratio was decreased as the increase of water-cement ratio. The compressive strength of cement was increased as the resistance ratio increase. The experimental results of compressive strength of cement is shown in the same value no relation with the kind of cement respectively.

  • The objective of present paper is to provide the fundamental data of earthquake-resistance design such as estimating the resistance capacity and evaluating the design seismic load. With one bending failed building, it is checked and compared between real damaged result and analysis value by means of static and dynamic analysis using multi-degree of freedom system. In this analysis, four kinds of the earthquake waves are used. Through elasto-plastic seismic response analysis of reinforced concrete building, we could estimate dynamic behaviour of building.

  • A dynamic electrical parameter monitoring device was designed to simultaneously record the instantaneous value of voltage, current, power, and resistance during spot welding. The data obtained using this technique have been analyzed in term of the relationships of these parameters to the phenomena occuring during the formation(surface break-down, nugget formation and mechanical collapse) of spot weld. Finally, a database implementation is undertaken to develop techniques for improving weld quality of the resistance spot welder.

  • The purpose of research is to measure power and dynamic resistance value through RMS module. Specially designed RMS-DC hardware module was tested. Its output which is obtained every half cycle was compared with that of commercial weld checker. The results show good agreement and the relative error in the measurement was found to be around 5%.
