In this study there was the analysis of government incentives and resident support of public crematoriums, typically identified in Korea as a locally unwanted land use (LULUs), in the metropolitan area. The study looked at what government programs would be potential incentives for allowing the crematoriums to exist in metropolitan communities. Such programs were diverse, with projects focused on: enhancing resident welfare, increasing resident income, funeral facilities and management consignment, community oriented programs, education, funding, and others. Among them, it was found that residents were most in support of programs for enhancing resident welfare and increasing income among residents. In order to resolve the complexities of community support for LULUs and government incentives to shift public perception of cremation, three main policies are proposed. First, it would be necessary to compliment additional project support policies which provide medical services, resident prefered projects, and improvement of substandard housing. Second, it would be important to establish ordinances concretely identifying residential support projects based on community needs assessment. Lastly, it would be of the government's best interest to build policies for resident supported projects that reflect local conditions and the residents' demands for allowing non-preferred facilities to be built, and then to analyze the economic feasibility of these demands.

Purpose - This study examined the influence relationships between the impacts of tourism development, local attachment, and resident involvement and local residents' support and pro-environmental behavior intentions in Jeju Island. Design/methodology/approach - A questionnaire was distributed to the Jeju Island residents and 373 samples were used for the analysis. Findings - The results showed that the perceived positive impact of tourism development has a positive effect on local residents' support, while the negative impact has a negative effect. Local attachment has no significant effect on local residents' support, while local involvement positively affects local residents' support. The positive impact of tourism development has a negative effect on pro-environmental behavior intention, while the perceived negative impact has a positive effect. Finally, when analyzing the relationship between local attachment, local involvement, and local support for eco-friendly behavior intention, it was found that they all have a positive effect. Research implications or Originality - Theoretical and managerial implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and compare the differences on perceived health status, Activities of Daily Livings (ADL), social support, and residential satisfaction between long-term care hospitals and nursing homes. Methods: Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews conducted from March 29 to April 22, 2011. The subjects were 66 old adults in 3 long-term care hospitals and 53 old adults in 6 nursing homes. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation analysis and t-tests. Results: ADL and subjective health status in nursing homes were worse than those in long-term hospitals, but it was not statistically significant (p>.05). Old adults in nursing homes received more emotional support from other residents and staff, and received more instrumental support from staff than those in long-term care hospitals (p<.001). The mean scores of resident satisfaction in long-term care hospitals and nursing homes were 3.53 ($SD={\pm}0.36$) and 3.97 ($SD={\pm}0.44$), respectively. Resident satisfaction in nursing homes significantly was higher than long-term care hospitals (p<.001). Conclusion: Health care personnels in long-term care hospitals should enhance resident satisfaction and social support and need to coordinate long-stay patients with nursing homes.

본 연구는 지역사회 주민참여 결정요인과 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 마을만들기 사업에 참여한 경험이 있는 A동 주민 389명을 대상으로 질문지법을 통해 지역사회 주민참여 요인인 근린환경만족도, 외부지원만족도, 지역애착도, 이웃과의 유대감의 영향력을 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 지역사회 주민참여 결정요인은 외부지원만족도와 이웃과의 유대감이 주요 요인으로 나타나, 다른 변수들을 통제하였을 때 외부지원이 커지거나, 이웃과의 유대감이 커지면 지역사회에 참여할 가능성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 외부지원만족도, 지역 애착도, 이웃과의 유대감 등이 사회자본 형성에 유의미한 영향력을 나타냈다. 셋째, 사회자본 하위 요소별로 영향력을 검증한 결과 신뢰와 네트워크는 외부지원만족도, 지역애착도, 이웃과의 유대감의 영향력이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 반면, 상호호혜성은 지역애착도와 이웃과의 유대감이 유의미하게 나타나 차이를 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 함의와 제언을 제시하였다.

This study was carried out to offer direction to the Housing Management Support Center in terms of its key features and specific operational tasks. The research involved the property management office (n=35) and Resident Representatives of the apartment blocks (n=52). Advisory Services conducted a consumer survey, as well as a survey of expert interviews (n=15). Survey results were as follows: (1) the Managing Director and secretary residents were satisfied with the Diagnosis and Advisory services; (2) the administrative support services need to address housing issues, including a long-term repair plan and advice on using long-term repair reserves and "conflict resolution associated with public housing management"; and (3) there was a greater need for a "basic, common-sense Housing Management Information Base to provide services to the Resident Representatives of the apartment blocks". Based on the survey results, the main roles of the Housing Management Support Center are to act as a House of Commons Administrator to handle complaints with counseling, diagnosis and advice; to support the Resident Committees; to provide professional training, research, and investigation; to support community revitalization; to manage the business of guidance and inspection; to coordinate conflicts and disputes; to build a comprehensive source of information; and to build networks.

본 연구는 도서관 상주작가 지원사업 문화프로그램 운영현황을 파악하고 프로그램에 대한 이용자의 인식과 선호, 사서의 인식을 조사하여 도서관 상주작가 문화프로그램의 운영개선 및 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위한 연구방법은 이론적 연구와 상주작가 문화프로그램 운영 현황조사, 도서관 이용자의 인식 및 선호에 대한 설문조사, 사서의 인식에 대한 인터뷰조사를 통한 실증적 연구를 병행하였다. 현황조사·설문조사·인터뷰조사는 2021년 5월부터 11월까지의 상주작가 지원사업 문화프로그램을 실시하고 있는 도서관을 대상으로 하였다. 문화프로그램의 어려움은 상주작가의 역량과 코로나로 인한 휴·재개관의 반복과 비대면 수업으로 나타났다. 프로그램 개선방안으로 상주작가와 다른 분야의 문인 초청과 문학프로그램 운영, 온라인 홍보에서 오프라인 홍보의 강화, 문화프로그램 운영의 사전교육, 사업 시작 시기 조정, 작가의 특성을 위한 교육, 이용자 연령을 고려한 진행방식, 이용자 선호프로그램, 프로그램 운영시간, 정기문화프로그램 운영, 지역특성과 프로그램의 다양성 등을 고려해야 할 것이다.

In this paper, a psycho-behavioral aspects which have important effects on the resident territorial behavior were investigated and analyzed. Data were sampled by questionaries survey in Seoul and Daejon metropolitan cities. A total of 518 questionaries were completed by the resident those were mostly homemakers. The results of this study could find to support the following conclusions. The resident who associate with more neighborhood have higher level of using common spaces. Those associate with more neighbors tend to feel safer, the resident use the common spaces more frequently are likely to feel safer. The resident belong to the intimate group have stronger territorial feeling against strangers. A well organized territory may provide more intimate to neighborhood association.

본 연구는 강원도의 환경기초시설 설치에 따른 주민지원금의 현황을 파악하고 처리형태에 따른 합리적인 주민지원금을 산정하기 위하여 수행되었다. 강원도에 지원된 주민지원금은 환경기초시설 설치비용에 $1.6{\sim}75.0%$로 과도하게 지원된 것으로 조사되었다. 합리적 주민지원금 산정방안은 평균 인구분포, 주민지원금 지원현황, 법적기준 및 전문가 설문조사 결과를 적용하여 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 산정한 처리형태별 주민지원금 범위는 폐기물 처리시설은 설치비용의 20% 범위, 음식물류 폐기물처리시설은 10% 범위, 하수 분뇨합병처리시설은 $3{\sim}5%$ 범위로 산정되었다.

본 연구는 미국 위스컨신 주에서 수행된 아동양육비 이행 시범사업 서베이 자료를 이용하여, 자녀를 양육하지 않는 아버지와 자녀를 양육하는 빈곤층 어머니의 가족구조 특성이 아버지가 제공하는 비공식 양육비 수준과 관련이 있는지를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 비공식 양육비 수준은 해당 자녀 부모의 현재 결혼상태, 자녀의 출생 당시 결혼상태와 관련이 있었다. 아버지의 자녀를 낳은 배우자 수는 비공식 양육비 수준과 관계가 없었다. 여러 배우자 사이에 자녀를 가진 경우, 아버지는 첫 번째 배우자 사이에 출생한 자녀에게 더 많은 비공식 양육비를 제공하였다. 아버지 자녀의 구성과 관련하여, 해당자녀의 형제/자매의 존재, 해당자녀의 이복형제 등 또 다른 자녀의 존재도 비공식 양육비 수준과 관련을 맺었다. 또한 공식적 아동양육비와 비공식적 아동양육비는 보완적인 관계를 맺고 있음을 밝혔다.
