효율적 드론봇 전투체계를 위한 드론 편제소요 도출에 관한 연구 (A study on the requirement of drone acquisition for the efficient dronebot combat system)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 육군에서 추진하고 있는 드론봇 전투체계에서 부대단위별 효율적 감시정찰 임무를 수행하기 위한 드론의 편제소요를 도출할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 육군의 대대 및 중대의 감시정찰 임무와 관련된 정면과 종심, 중요감시지역 수의 문제를 실제 작전환경을 고려하여 가정하였으며 first, next, valid, output 4단계의 Brute Force 알고리즘을 적용한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 대대 및 중대의 감시정찰에 필요한 최소한의 드론 대수를 도출하였고 각각 드론의 경로계획을 수립하였다. 그 결과, 육군의 드론봇 전투체계에서는 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 적용하여 부대별 임무에 특성에 따라 보다 간단하고 빠르게 임무수행에 필요한 드론의 편제소요를 도출할 수 있을 것이다. 향후에는 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 이용한 편제소요 도출방안의 신뢰성 검증에 대한 연구를 진행하도록 하겠다.

  • To Manage the Defense Acquisition Process more efficiently, DAPA has looked over the applying SE process to the Eagle Acquisition Program. Based on comparing 'Requirement' with 'items suggested in the proposal' in RFP and analyzing the result by using Cradle, those items have been discovered with IPT, actualized and corrected. In addition, the computerized data base system makes easier to trace all changed and more efficiency to manage programs. Therefore, this study using SE in other acquisition program.

  • In Weapons acquisition process, if the requirements are not clear, it leads to confusion and conflict in business. In the development of next-generation weapons, to define and derive requirements has to start from decision of operational concept. It is difficult task and has many uncertainties. This paper has goal about development of knowledge acquisition process that derive military operational scenario-based requirements acquisition process and framework that classify and save the derived requirements for next project. That framework can generate new class and category, also suggest that verification of requirements. It help to derive and manage the requirements, and make it easy to grasp the requirements. Accordingly, it can help make military requirement plan and weapon acquisition process.

  • The requirement verification is the integral part of the weapon system R&D to reduce cost and schedule. And, a systems engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering management process that evolves and verifies an integrated, life-cycle balanced set of system solutions that satisfy customer needs. Therefore, this study analyzes the national defense need and acquisition management process, investigates the systems engineering verification activity. Through the requirement verification example in terms of technical evaluation this study presented the requirement verification approach in the weapon system R&D.

PLM 기반 함정획득을 위한 프레임워크 개발 방법론 (Framework for an Advanced Naval Ships Acquisition based on PLM)

  • As naval ships become more complex with the reduced cost and time for their development, modeling and simulation are increasingly used. The US navy has being applied the concept of a simulation-based acquisition(SBA) to their acquisition process. However, there have been few studies on a simulation-based acquisition for naval ships (SBA-NS) in the Korean naval shipbuilding. In this paper, we discuss a framework to establish collaborative environment(CE) for an advanced naval ships acquisition based on PLM. For this, we propose architectures and a naval ship information model for design the framework of the SBA-NS. To design the framework, we develop the methodology that is composed of three major processes that are the requirement analysis process, the SBA-NS architectures design process and the design process of a reference model of a naval ship product information. Applying the methodology, the framework suitable for the Korean Navy context is developed.

  • Various communication mechanisms have been developed to acquire a meaningful data from sensors. The key requirement during the sensor data acquisition is determinism and reduction of time dependency. It is a fundermental level of satellite data management for controlling satellite operation software data acquisition from sensors or subsystem. Satellite operation software has various software modules to be operated in addition to data acquisition. Therefore, unnecessary time delay shall be minimized to perform the data acquisition. As the result, interrupt method might be prefered than polling method because the former can decrease the restriction of design during implementation of data acquisition logic. The possible problems while using interrupt method like as interrupt latency caused by delaying of interrupt processing time are analyzed. In this paper, communication mechanism which can be used to interface with satellite computer and subsidary subsystem by using interrupt is presented. As well, time dependency between software scheduling and data acquisition is analyzed.

  • 본 논문은 항공기의 항공 전자에 내장된 비행운용프로그램을 개발하기 위한 요구도 관리 시스템을 제시한다. 제시된 시스템은 비행운용프로그램을 개발하기 위한 요구사항분석, 설계, 구현 테스트결과와 요구도 수정 로그 등을 효과적으로 관리한다. 기존의 상업용 요구도 관리시스템은 보다 다양한 기능을 가지고 있지만 이들 대부분의 도구들은 너무 복잡하고 상대적으로 구입가격이 비싸며 유지보수 비용이 크다. 본 논문에서 개발된 시스템은 항공전자 장비 비행운용프로그램 개발에 특화된 시스템으로서 사용의 용이성과 비용 면에서 효율적인 시스템이다.

기술성숙도 측정을 통한 ACTD 과제 전이 결정에 관한 연구 (Transition of ACTD by Measuring the Technology Readiness Level)

  • Recently, request far application of advanced commercial technology to the defense acquisition process, to reduce the budget and shorten development time, has been increased. To accomplish these goals, the Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration(ACTD) is used for the defense acquisition process in Korea. And User Utility Assessment is tested to make a decision for transition to acquisition process. But this process does not include measurement of technology maturity and impacts of interface and interaction among the technologies. In this research, we propose the needs of measurement of TRL and IRL and application of SRL to reduce the risk during development phase, to understand the relations of technologies, and to fulfill the requirement far transition of the ACTD project to system development and demonstration process.

합리적 국방획득체계 구축을 위한 방안 (A Plan for Building up the Rational Defense Acquisition System)

  • 본 논문은 방위사업청 개칭이후 국방획득체계 운영과정에서 드러난 몇 가지 비효율적인 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 개선하는데 필요한 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이것은 앞으로 국방부가 획득체계를 개선할 시 참고자료로 활용하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 제시된 방안들은 첫째, 국방부와 방위사업청간 중기계획 및 예산편성에 관한 기능을 재정립해야 한다. 둘째,소요-획득-운영유지의 통합관리체계 구축을 통해 경제적 획득관리 및 전력발전을 도모해야 한다. 셋째, 소요-획득분야 인력순환(순환근무)을 제도화하고, 획득인력의 전문성 강화를 위해 인력관리법 및 전문교육체계를 구축해야 한다. 그리고 넷째, 무기체계 '총수명주기체계관리'를 시행하고, 방위사업청 주도의 개발 및 운용시험평가 방식을 개선해야 한다. 이것은 국방부-방위사업청-각 군 간 획득사업을 둘러싸고 파생되는 업무혼선과 갈등을 최소화하는데 있어 필수적인 요소들이다.

Obstacle Awareness and Collision Avoidance Radar Sensor System for Smart UAV

  • In this paper, the critical requirement for obstacle awareness and avoidance is assessed with the compliance of the equivalent level of safety regulation, and then the collision avoidance sensor system is presented with the key design parameters for the requirement of the smart unmanned aerial vehicle in low-altitude flight. Based on the assessment of various sensors, small-sized radar sensor is selected for the suitable candidate due to the real-time range and range-rate acquisition capability of the stationary and moving aircraft even under all-weather environments. Through the performance analysis for the system requirement, the conceptual design result of radar sensor model is proposed with the range detection probability and collision avoidance mode is established based on the time-to-collision, which is analyzed by collision scenario.
