  • It is a great number of problem for the man to perform maintenance and repairing work owing to radioactive effusion for a nuclear fuel and the pollution of an related equipment in nuclear power plants.   • Very-Early-Strength Latex-Modified Concrete(VESLMC) provides the repairing material with short curing time as well as excellent bond strength, flexural strength and impermeability against water and chloride. In 2001, VESLMC introduced in Korea and improved superior material through research and development on material properties and durability. In 2003, the field test progressed for study problems of VESLMC field application. This paper introduced equipment improvement for bridge deck repair save both repair time and labor, while producing quality VESLMC structures.

  • 노후 된 콘크리트 사회기반시설 구조물의 활용성 증대와 수명의 연장을 위하여 여러 가지의 보수보강 방법이 시행되어지고 있으나 최근에는 시공이 용이하고 보강효과가 좋은 탄소섬유시트를 활용하는 방법이 널리 쓰여지고 있다. 탄소 섬유로 보수보강을 할 경우 강도가 증진되고 강성이 향상되어 좋은 방법으로 알려져 있으나, 철근 콘크리트에 비해 연성이 떨어져 파괴 시 취성 파괴의 형태를 보일 수 있다, 그리고 보수보강된 구조물을 보강재로 인하여 크랙의 진전을 맨눈으로 확인하기가 어려워지게 된다. 따라서 구조물의 취약함을 드러내는 시기인 보수보강시 광섬유센서를 내장케 하여 취성파괴를 감시하고 구조물의 거동을 모니터링함으로써 안전한 구조물이 되도록 할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 광섬유센서를 이용하여 모재와 보강재의 구조거동을 분석하였으며, Peel out 효과라 불리는 계면 파괴현상을 효과적으로 자기진단 할 수 있음을 입증하였다.

  • Inconel 600 alloy is used as the material of nuclear steam generator tubing because of its mechanical properties, formability, and corrosion properties. According to reports, the life time of nuclear power plants decreases because of the pitting, intergranular attack, primary water stress corrosion cracking(PWSCC), and intergranular stress corrosion cracking(IGSCC), and denting in the steam generator. The SCC test is very important because of SCC appears in various environment such as solutions, materials, and stress. The C-Rig specimen was made of the steam generator welded sleeve repairing by the pulsed Nd:YAG laser. In the corrosion invironment, corrosion solutions are Primary Water, Caustic, and Sulfate solution and corrosion time is 1624-4877hr. The permitted stress is 30-60ksi.In this C-Ring SCC test is the relationship between corrosion depth, crack and corrosion environment is evaluated. SCC was happens in Sulfate and Corrosion solution but doesn't happen in Primary Water. The corrosion time and stress is very affected by the severely environment of Sulfate or Caustic solution. The microstructure observation indicates that SCC causes interganular failure in the grain boundary of vertical direction.

  • In road pavements, it is known that cement concrete pavement has superior durability, safety compared. But in repairing pavement, cement concrete pavement is not usually applied because of the length of time while the road is interrupted when using Ordinary and Rapid-hardening Portland Cement. And Super High Early Strength Cement and Ultra Super High Early Strength Cement are not favorable for ready mixed concrete because of rapid setting time, high slump loss and other restrictions. We developed special cement developing 1 day strength of over 30.0N/mm$^2$ to open the road within 1 day and workable time is maintained over 1 hour so that it can be used as ready mixed concrete. We performed experimental overlay construction with the cement and evaluated the mechanical property and the durability. At curing temperature of 8-l8$^{\circ}C$,the flexural strength was 6.4N/mm$^2$at 1 day, so that the road can be open to traffic within 1 day. In durability test, the hardened concrete showed higher durability than Portland cement concrete.

화재시 고강도 콘크리트 부재의 폭렬성상에 따른 잔존강도 (Residual strength of spalled high-performance concrete members subjected to fire)

  • 본 연구는 화재피해를 입은 고강도 철근 콘크리트 구조부재의 폭렬발생시 구조성능을 파악하기 위한 연구로 압축강도 55MPa의 휨 부재와 압축부재를 화재피해를 입은 시간을 주요변수로 30분, 60분 및 90분간 화재 실험을 실시하였다. 휨 부재의 경우 피복두께에 따라 폭렬의 정도와 구조성능의 감소에서 차이를 보였으며, 피복 두께가 두꺼운 경우에 폭렬 면적 및 잔존강도의 감소폭이 크게 나타났다. 압축부재의 경우 폭렬로 인해 손실된 면적의 양은 화재피해를 입은 시간에 영향을 크게 받지 않았으나, 잔존강도의 경우 콘크리트가 고온에 오래 노출될수록 큰 감소폭을 보였고, 부재강성의 감소폭은 더욱 크게 나타났다. 따라서 고강도 콘크리트구조물에 화재가 발생하였을 경우 폭렬의 양상과 화재피해를 입은 시간에 따라 구조물의 잔존강도를 예측 할 수 있으며, 이를 이용하여 구조물의 재사용 여부의 판단 및 보수 보강에 필요한 자료를 제시할 수 있다.

Accuracy of Current Delivery System in Current Source Data-Driver IC for AM-OLED

  • Current delivery system, in which the analog current produced by a unique DAC circuit is stored into a current-memory circuit and delivered in a time-divided sequence, shows variation of output current as low as 4% in a current source data-driver IC for AM-OLED driven by a current-programmed method without any fuse repairing after fabrication. This driver IC has 54 outputs and can sink constant current as low as 3 ${\mu}A$ with 6-bit analog levels. Such a low current level without variation can hardly be obtained by an ordinary MOS transistor because the current level is in the sub-threshold region and changes exponentially with threshold voltage variation. Thus we adopted a current mirror circuit composed of bipolar transistors to supply well-controlled current within a nano-ampere range.

  • Materials used for repairing and restoring both pottery and porcelain are practically organic, which makes the analysis procedure difficult in the course of time. It is, however, important in the field of conservation to analyze the material applied in the past. In consequence, this research will examine the components of the restoration materials collected in the process of ceramic conservation: the fillings using SEM-EDS and FT-IR; retouching materials; the adhesive used between the filling and retouching material.

ECONOMICS OF SINGLE ANIMAL PLOUGHING IN BANGLADESH : PRESENTATION OF SURVEY RESULTS

  • In this study attempts were made to identify the areas of single animal ploughing (SAP) in Bangladesh, causes of its localization and the socio-economic constraints hindering the expansion of the system. To determine the areas of single animal ploughing, 123 upazilas of 15 districts were surveyed. Of them, 16 upazilas were found heavily engaged with this system. A detailed investigation of 469 SAP and 439 double animal ploughing (DAP) farmers revealed that there was significant difference between the two systems in respect of cost of production and yield per unit of land. The benefit/cost (B/C) ratio was higher in SAP system. However, no significant difference was observed in respect of time required for ploughing, intensity of cropping, cost of implements, and cost of repairing implements (except yoke). The study recommends for expansion of SAP system in areas where buffaloes are concentrated. Fro this purpose, logistic and institutional supports need to be made available.

  • Concrete are brittle materials and they are which come to brittle fracture rapidly by progress of cracks. Therefore, what the time for repairing the damage portion is understands importantly by such cracks. When they happened the glass pipe similar to concrete was used. Such a glass pipe can insert repair material in an inside, or can use it by switch. They are interested in the crack monitoring of structure using FM radio sensor and PZT sensor. In this study, the monitoring to a crack was studied using FM radio sensor and PZT sensor. Therefore, the purpose of this study is the fundamental research which detects damages of main members using the compound sensor which consisted of the radio sensors of resistance, PZT, and FM system.
