선박엔진 부품의 고능률 보수용접기술 (High-efficiency repair welding technology for marine engine components)

  • 현재 국내에서 공장 보수용접이 가장 많이 이루어지고 있는 선박 엔진 부품은 피스톤 크라운과 배기밸브이다. 또한 선박 엔진 밸브와 크랭크 축 등의 경우에는 신규 부품에서도 성능향상을 위해 표면개질방법으로 오버레이 용접이 시공되고 있다. 용착률을 높이는 고능률 오버레이 용접 공정으로 Hot Wire GTAW, Cold Tandem GMAW, Band Arc SAW, Tandem SAW법이 개발되어 있고, 용사방법으로 PTA공정이 현장에서 많이 시공되고 있다. 입열량 제어가 용이한 공정으로 GMAW-Pulse, CMT 용접공정이 있다. 엔진 배기밸브의 보수를 위한 오버레이공정에서 열영향부에 가까운 모재 내에 액화균열이 발생하는 경우가 있어 주의를 요한다. GMAW-Pulse 공정과 CMT공정에서는 입열량 제어가 용이하여 높은 용착속도를 유지하면서도 액화균열의 발생 없이 엔진 밸브의 보수 또는 표면 개질 목적으로 시공이 가능하다. 최근에 국내에서 고능률 용접 공정으로 선박엔진의 보수 또는 표면 개질 목적으로 사용 가능한 Super-TIG 용접공정이 개발되어 있다. 이 공정은 아크를 플라즈마 스트림이라고 보고 전류증가에 따라 커지는 아크압력을 막으면서도 용가재의 용융 효율이 극대화 되도록 폭이 큰 C형의 오목한 용가재를 발명하여 용착률을 획기적으로 향상시킨 용접공정이다.

Efficacy and Safety of Combined Subacromial and Intravenous Patient-controlled Analgesia after Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair

  • Background: This study investigated the efficacy and safety of combined subacromial and intravenous patient-controlled analgesia for control of postoperative pain after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Methods: Between May 2012 and August 2014, 60 patients who underwent arthroscopic rotator cuff repair with acromioplasty and received patient-controlled analgesia were studied prospectively. Cases were divided into 2 groups: combined subacromial and intravenous infusion group (group A, 30 cases) and solitary intravenous infusion group (group B, 30 cases). The visual analogue scale was used to record the patient's level of pain every 12 hours during postoperative 72 hours and the following 48 hours after the suspension of patient-controlled analgesia. Results: The mean preoperative visual analogue scale score was 7.8 in group A and 7.6 in group B, and the immediate postoperative visual analogue scale score was 7.9 and 8.1 for each group. At postoperative time (From 12 hours to 72 hours after operation), the scores of combined subacromial and intravenous infusion were significantly lower than those of solitary intravenous infusion. Significant difference in the frequency of supplemental analgesic injections was observed between group A and group B (p=0.008). However, no significant difference in complication rate was observed between the two groups (p=0.562). Conclusions: Combined subacromial and intravenous patient-controlled analgesia after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is more effective than solitary intravenous infusion without significantly increasing complications. Therefore, combined subacromial and intravenous patient-controlled analgesia could be a effective pain control method.

도재소부전장관(陶材燒付前奬冠) 파절수리시(破折修理時) 표면처리(表面處理) 방법(方法)에 따른 수복(修復)레진의 유지력(維持力)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (COMPARISON OF RETENTIVE FORCE OF REPAIR RESIN BY VARIOUS SURFACE TREATMENT METHODS IN THE REPAIR OF FRACTURED PORCELAIN FUSED TO METAL CROWN)

  • Now composite resin restoration is clinically accepted in the repair of fractured PFM case, many mechanical surface treatment methods are performed to increase retentive force. The main purpose of this study was to compare the retentive force among the possible surface treatments and to insure the best method for the clinical application to the fractures porecelain and the exposed metal surface. To compare and to analyze the retentive force of repair resin, porcelain specimen were divided into 2 groups, etching group and non-etching group, and etching group were treated with 37% $H_3PO_4$, 1.23% APF, 10% HF and non-etching groups were treated with diamond bur, micro-sandblasasting. Also, metal specimens were divided by 2 groups : one was non-precious metal group which was treated with diamond bur, micro-sandblasting and tin plating and electrolytic etching, the other was precious metal group which was composed of micro-sandblasting treatment only and tin plating treatment with micro-sandblasting. Each specimen had been restored for 48 hours and the bond strength of each specimen was calculated with Universal testing machine. The results were as follows : 1. Porcelain specimen had higher bonding strength than metal specimen for the repair resin(P<0.01). 2. In porcelain specimen, 10% HF etching group had the highest bonding strength among etching and non-etching group. 3. Metal specimen treated with micro-sandblasting had highest bonding strength among the non-sandblasting had hightest bonding strength among the non-precious group, tin plating group had higher bonding strength than micro-sandblasting group between the precious metal groups. 4. Bonding strength of tin plating was increased in precious metal group only.

DNA Repair Gene Associated with Clinical Outcome of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer Treated with Platinum-based Chemotherapy

  • Objective: The nucleotide excision repair (NER) and base excision repair (BER) pathways, two DNA repair pathways, are related to platinum resistance in cancer treatment. In this paper, we studied the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of involved genes and response to platinum-based chemotherapy in epithelial ovarian cancer. Method: Eight SNPs in XRCC1 (BER), XPC and XPD (NER) were assessed in 213 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and primer-introduced restriction analysis-polymerase chain reaction (PIRA-PCR) techniques. Results: The median progression-free survival (PFS) of patients carrying the Lys/Lys and Lys/Gln+Gln/Gln genotype of the XPC Lys/Gln polymorphism were 25 and 12 months, respectively (P=0.039); and the mean overall survival (OS) of patients was 31.1 and 27.8 months, respectively (P=0.048). Cox's multivariate analysis suggested that patients with epithelial ovarian cancer with the Gln allele had an increased risk of death (HR=1.75; 95% CI=1.06-2.91) compared to those with the Lys/Lys genotype. There are no associations between the XPC PAT+/-, XRCC1 Arg194Trp, Arg280His, Arg399Gln, and XPD Asp312Asn, Lys751Gln polymorphisms and the survival of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer when treated with platinum-based chemotherapy. Conclusion: Our results indicated that the XPC Lys939Gln polymorphism may correlate with clinical outcome of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer when treated with platinum-based chemotherapy in Northern China.

Bankart 병변의 봉합나사를 이용한 관절경적 봉합술 (Arthroscopic Bankart Repair with Suture Anchor)

  • 목적: Bankart병변이있는 외상성재발성견관절탈구환자에서봉합나사를이용한관절경적봉합술의유용성을알아보았다. 대상및방법: 견관절의외상성전방불안정성환자에대해봉합나사를이용한관절경적Bankart병변봉합술을시행한환자중12개월이상추시가가능하였던54례를대상으로Rowe와Zarins의평가방법을이용하여결과를판정하였다.결과: 관절경하에서확인된동반병변으로Hill-S achs병변이28례에서, SLAP병변과상완골골두의연골연화증은각각6례에서관찰되었다. Rowe와Zains의평가방법에따라평가하여50례( 92.6$\%$ )에서양호이상의결과를얻었으며, 재탈구는2례에서발생하였다.결론: 외상성재발성견관절탈구로인한전방불안정성환자에서Bankar병변에대해봉합나사를이용한관절경적봉합술은우수한임상결과와낮은재발율을보이고, 합병증이낮은효과적인술식중의하나라고사료된다.

홍예교 성능저하 원인에 따른 보수방안 고찰 - 선암사 승선교·송광사 극락교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Repair Method for Performance Degradation Cause of Korean Arch Bridge -Focused on the Seonamsa Seungseonggyo, Songgwangsa Geukrockgyo-)

  • This study considers the proper repair techniques by examining the most representative repair cases of the Korean arch bridges and proposes the constructional manual which can apply similar occasions. The cases are Seonamsa Seungseongyo and Songgwangsa Geukrockgyo where this researcher had taken part in the repair works. This Study proposes the maintenance construction manual about the performance degradation drew by performance degradation of the both Korean arch bridges in the maintenance process. First, arch bridge maintenance should be carried out in the dry season, when water is impermeable in the bottom surface of the bridge. Moreover, risk factors of the maintenance should be excluded to secure the water vally flow, the bypass and the temporary bridge. Second, prior to repair, it has to precede (1)3D shooting (2)formal examination (3)structure safety test (4)geological and lithic surveys (5)arch curvature establishment and makeshift frame settlement before transformation (6)relationship expert comments. Third, if the baduk and the foundation stones are inevitable to replace due to performance degradation on the foundation, it should use the high quality stones and secure greater stress by extending the standard range. The foundation on irregular rock needs to be flattened and underside on the replaced materials require Grengyijil to deliver the equal loads. Fourth, In the process of dismantling the stones of the arched bridge, it could make heavy weathering degree and not reuse the materials. Charge should converge the expert advices to choose the reuseable, the conservate and the alternative materials, and increase the reutilization of the raw materials by preservation and reinforcement treatments. Fifth, the side wall should be repaired by the rubble work technique which is not able to pile compost satiety, so it must use long depth of masonary stones for reinforcement. It is considered to reinforce the stone wall in shore as much as possible and protect the abutment and the side wall on the upstream for the arch bridge maintenance works.

Successful Carapace Puncture Wound Repair with Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) in an Amur Softshell Turtle (Pelodiscus maackii)

  • An Amur softshell turtle with multiple shell injuries was admitted to the Seoul Wildlife Center on 19 May 2021. The most severe lesion was a puncture wound requiring urgent closure. In addition to routine supportive therapy, the damaged shell was patched with biocompatible polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) materials (bone cement and dental acrylic) and fiberglass. Despite a few methods to repair the carapace or plastron of hard-shelled turtles, shell repair in the Amur softshell turtle has rarely been reported. This paper reports the repair process of a puncture wound in the carapace of a softshell turtle using polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). PMMA is a biocompatible acrylic polymer that forms a tight structure that holds the implant against tissue defects, such as skin, bones, and dentures. Fiberglass, a preferred fiber in various medical fields, was used with PMMA to provide extra strength and waterproof capability. After the procedure, there were no signs of edema, inflammation, bleeding, skin discoloration, or any other complications. Accordingly, this can be a method of choice in softshell turtles using biocompatible materials to cover the lesion in the carapace and provide appropriate wound management, supportive therapy, and a suitable course of antibiotics considering all other circumstances.

문화재수리공사의 감리업무량 조사를 통한 감리대가 기준 마련 연구 (A Study on Standardization of Supervision Cost by Investigating Supervision Workload in Cultural Heritage Repair Works)

  • 정부는 문화재수리공사의 품질확보 및 부실공사를 방지하기 위하여 문화재 감리제도를 2010년 1월에 도입하였다. 그러나, 문화재 감리와 관련된 감리대상공사, 감리자의 업무 범위, 감리대가, 감리원의 배치기준 등이 마련되어 있지 못해, 공공건설공사에서 운영하고 있는 감리제도를 운영하고 있다. 이로 인해 소규모 공사위주의 문화재수리 및 복원 특성을 반영한 문화재수리공사의 감리특성을 반영하고 있지 못한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 문화재수리공사의 특성에 맞는 평균 공사기간을 분석하여 감리업무와 대가기준 작성방향을 제안하였고, 문화재수리공사의 감리업무량을 조사 분석하여 감리대가기준을 마련하였다. 즉, 일정규모 이상의 문화재수리공사 경우, 감리원이 현장에 상주하여 감리업무를 수행하기 때문에 공공건설공사의 감리대가 산출방식과 같은 정액적산방식을 적용하여 감리대가 기준(안)을 제안하였다. 또한 일정규모 이하인 소규모 문화재수리공사의 경우, 감리원이 현장에 상주하지 않고, 주요 공종에만 현장에 방문하여 검사 및 확인하는 "건축법"의 수시 감리방식과 같은 비상주 감리대가 기준(안)을 제안하였다. 상기 문화재감리대가 기준(안)을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 문화재수리공사 상주감리의 감리비는 공공공사의 시공감리 대비 98% 수준이며, 비상주감리의 감리비는 건축공사감리 대비 158% 수준으로 도출되었다. 상기 연구결과인 문화재수리공사의 감리대가 기준(안)을 현장에 적용하게 되면, 문화재수리공사의 고품질 확보 등을 통하여 우리나라의 소중한 문화재를 보존할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The asset management of railway facilities is a total framework for finally supporting a safe and comfortable train service, which includes functions of supporting evaluation of condition and performance of infrastructures, making the decision method of repair or rehabilitation of deteriorated facilities, and lengthening the life cycle of structure through the decision of adequate cost and time of repair or reinforcement. In the range of the asset management, organization, human, the target, and information & data of company are included. Therefore, in this paper, appling the method of asset management analysis to the railway structures, the process of the risk assesment using BRE(Business Risk Exposure) and the basis of consisting optimized renewal decision-making are expressed.

  • Recently, there have been increased much concerns about repair and rehabilitation works for aged concrete structures. In particular, it is known that due to repeated overburden vehicle there are significantly increasing number of aged concrete bridge slabs, which are strongly needed to construct and rehabilitate by innovative construction method. The objective of this research is to develop the new construction method of concrete slab in bridge structure, which can contribute to minimize the traffic congestion during the repair and rehabilitation works of aged concrete slab, and can also sufficiently assure the quality through the minimization of in-situ works at the site. I-beams with punch holes, which are substituted instead of main reinforcing steels in concrete slabs, will be manufactured in accordance with the specification in the factory. and will be preassembled into the Panel. After erecting the preassembled panels in the site, concrete will be poured into the slab panel. This research is to investigate physical properties of I-Beam with punch holes itself through static and fatigue test with rational numerical analysis Finally this research is to suggest reformed I-beam through the numerical analysis.
