지능형 원격 제어·모니터링을 위한 인터넷 관리 시스템 (Internet Management System for an Intelligent Remote Control and Monitoring)

  • 오늘날 유비쿼터스 환경에서 전력망이나 이와 유사한 시스템의 실시간 원격 제어 및 모니터링 기술은 다양한 센서나 카메라를 통하여 획득한 정보를 시간과 지역에 구애됨이 없이 인터넷이나 이와 유사한 시스템을 통하여 공유할 수 있는 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 관리 시스템인 IMS(Internet Management System)을 이용한 시스템 성능평가 및 유지보수를 위한 태양광 발전시스템의 원격 실시간 감시 제어 방법을 소개하고, IMS를 물관리 시스템에 적용하여 실용적 가치를 검증하였다. 또한 실시간 데이터 전송 방식으로 위치에 상관없이 웹 브라우저를 통한 원격 제어가 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • According to Electricity Acceleration Law of Rural Area recently, the needs for replacement of a small scale diesel power generation facility which supplied electricity to 10-50 households Remote Islands has been revealed due to high operating and maintenance cost of Diesel Power Generation. Optimization of electric power system for Small Remote Islands must be made considering the economics, reliability and stability as power sources and estimation of total construction cost of those power stations. For its purpose, an assessment of power generation options such as Photovoltaic, Fuel cell, Wind-hybrid was implemented, economic evaluation of power supply shows the Photovoltaic, Fuel Cell for few household's islands and Diesel, Wind-hybrid for more inhabited islands. Power supplied by Diesel shows the best response to increasing electric demand and system reliability even with its lower economic value. Those who are in charge of power planning have to pay attention to system reliability, stability and operating characteristics of candidate's power supply besides its economics.

  • The considered simulation tasks are based on an electrometallurgical process development strategy and associated telemanipulator simulation systems are proposed with various scales of experimental facilities. Fundamentally, target facilities are assumed to be operated only by remote handling systems because the considered process is operated in hazardous environments. Futhermore, the feasibility at various scales should be experimentally verified with gradual increase in throughput. In this regard, bench, engineering, and pilot-scale simulation systems are important early-stage tools for assessing the practical operability of the target process with the material handling systems. Such simulation systems are highly customized for applications and are a precursor to larger pilot and demonstration-scale plants. This paper introduced and classified the developed simulator systems for this approach at various scales using remote handling systems which were assembled inside a virtual target facility, and the manmachine interface was included for a more realistic operation of the simulator. The results obtained for each simulator show the feasibility and requirement for improvement of the systems for the considered test issues with respect to the operation and maintenance of the process.

공정제어에서 선택시퀀스를 위한 효율적인 리모트 콘트롤 제어방법 (An Efficient Method of Remote Control for Select Sequence in Process Control)

  • PLC를 사용한 제어시스템에서 SFC 언어를 사용하면 전체 공정의 흐름을 이해하기 쉽고 유지보수가 용이하다. SFC 언어는 단일 시퀀스, 선택 시퀀스, 병렬 시퀀스로 나누어지고, 여러 조건에 맞게 처리하는 선택시퀀스로 프로그램 할 때 선택분기 스텝에 에러가 발생하면 전체 공정이 정지하게 된다. 이 에러스텝이 전체 공정에 크게 영향을 안주는 공정이라면 전체 공정을 정지시키지 않고 에러를 처리하면 손실은 줄어들게 된다. 본 논문에서는 선택시퀀스에서 리모트 콘트롤을 사용하여 선택시퀀스를 효율적으로 제어하는 방법을 제시하고 적용 예를 통해 그의 타당성을 확인하였다.

Remote Nozzle Blocking Device of RCS Pipe during Mid-Loop Operation in Nuclear Power Plants

  • Currently most nuclear power plants(NPPs) are adopted the mid-loop operation to minimize the overhaul period and save the operating cost. For mid-loop operation it is essential to install nozzle dam between RCS pipe and steam generator(SG). Because SG remains more highly contaminated with radioactive material than any other parts of the NPPs, the repairmen are very reluctant to carry out installing nozzle dam inside the SG. Until now, unfortunately, it appears that no practically applicable device was developed to provide the longstanding demand. Also the accidents have been reported by licenser event report during this operation mode due to loss of residual heat removal(RHR). The purpose of this paper is to conduct remotely blocking and disintegration of nozzle of a SG which has the highest radiation exposure during the maintenance in NPPs. The remote nozzle blocking device of a SG includes three bladders, hubs, air controller provisions to supply and contact air pressure into the bladders. This remote nozzle block device will give the larger operation margin to prevent the loss of RHR and minimize the radiation exposure dose to the repairman and shorten the overhaul periods.

원격대학원 콘텐츠 구성요소에 대한 중요도-수행도 분석: J대학 원격대학원 사례를 중심으로 (An Importance-Performance Analysis on the e-Learning Content Components of Cyber Graduate School)

  • 이 연구에서는 원격대학원생 콘텐츠 구성요소에 대한 중요도-수행도 분석(IPA)을 하였다. 이를 위해 J대학 원격대학원생 221명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 콘텐츠 구성요소의 영역별 중요도는 학습 내용, 상호작용, 교수-학습 전략, 평가의 순으로, 수행도는 교수-학습 전략, 상호작용, 평가, 학습내용의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 콘텐츠 구성요소 4가지 영역, 즉 학습내용, 교수-학습 전략, 상호작용, 평가 영역 모두 중요도와 수행도 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중요도-수행도 분석(IPA)은 영역별 및 항목별 두 차원에서 실시하였는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 학습내용은 유지관리 영역으로, 교수-학습 전략과 상호작용은 중점개선 영역으로, 평가 영역은 과잉투자 영역으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구 결과는 원격대학원 콘텐츠의 현재를 진단하고 그에 기초하여 앞으로 개선해야 할 점이 무엇인가를 가늠하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

원전 스팀 제네레이터의 자동보수 유지를 위한 로보트비젼 시스템 개발 (Development of a Robot Vision System for Automatic Repair and Maintenance of Steam Generator in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • It is proposed a new approach to the development of the automatic vision system to examine and repair the steam generator tubes at remote distance. In nuclear power plants, workers are reluctant of works in steam generator because of the high radiation environment and limited working space. It is strongly recommended that the examination and maintenance works be done by an automatic system for the protection of the operator from to radiation exposure. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time recognition and examination of steam generator tubes in the proposed vision system. Performance of proposed digital vision system is illustrated by simulation and experiment for similar steam generator model.

  • This paper concerns 3-D graphical modeling and simulation techniques for design and control of automated equipment for construction and facility maintenance. A case study on the use of 3-D graphics techniques for developing a power plant maintenance robot is presented. By simulating equipment operation within the 3-D geometry models of the work environment the environment design was improved. The 3-D graphical models of the equipment and the work environment were further utilized for the control of the robot from a remote distance. By presenting the real-time updated equipment configuration and the work environment to the operator, the graphical model-based equipment control system helped the operator overcome the problems associated with spatial perception. The collision between the robot and the plant structures was also avoided based the real-time analysis of the dynamically updated graphical models.

Condition monitoring of railway equipment is the need for integration of remote condition monitoring with maintenance management strategies. The paper outlines research leading to the design and development of a prototype control and monitoring system for propulsion equipment.

  • In this paper, we have developed a tele-robotic system for nozzle dam installation/removal works and tube relating maintenance works inside unclear power plant steam generator. Developed tele-robotic system consists of many hardwares including robot and a control system. Based on the 3 dimensional graphic simulation, a 6 D.O.F. hydraulic actuated robot and a 2 D.O.F. robot install/removal device have been developed. And also we deviced special tools for nozzle dam carry and bolting. For the tele-robot and other devices to be controlled at the nonradioactive area outside reactor containment building, we developed a tele-robot control system consisting of supervisory controller and remote controller.
