This study analyzed changes in sociality and democratic-citizenship among elementary school students in the information class and the science class at the Science Education Institute for the Gifted, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group engaged in the Learning Together (LT) cooperative form of learning for which the remix function of Scratch, an educational programming language, was applied, while the control group was given general instructor-led lessons. Members in the experimental group were able to modify processes during projects through the usage of the remix function, thereby actively participating in the projects and eventually generating team-based results. The post-class t-tests showed a greater degree of improvements in sociality and democratic citizenship for the experimental group that was offered the remix-function-based cooperative learning than the control group. Statistically significant differences were present between two groups particularly in "cooperative spirit" sub-domain of sociality and the "community" and "responsibility" sub-domains of democratic citizenship.

In this paper, the elementary students from the Information class of the Science Education Institute for the Gifted were divided into the experimental and control groups. The two groups took Scratch programming classes and the changes in their sociality were analyzed. The experimental group used the Scratch remix function, an educational programming language, to perform the LT cooperative learning. The control group took general instructor-led classes. The experimental group carried out a team project in which learners should cooperate with each other to produce certain results using the remix function. Twelve 3-hour lessons were taken by the experimental and control groups consisting of 30 and 30 students respectively to verify changes depending on remix-based cooperative learning. According to t-test using the survey results, the experimental group that performed cooperative learning using the Scratch remix function showed more improved sociality than the control group did. There was a statistically significant difference as well.

The objective of this work is to investigate fluid mixing phenomena related to pressurized thermal shock(PTS) in a pressurized water reactor(PWR) vessel downcomer during transient cooldown with direct vessel injection(DVI) using test models. The test model designs were based on ABB Combustion Engineering(C-E) System 80＋ reactor geometry. A cold leg small break loss-of-coolant accident(LOCA) md a main steam line teak were selected as the potential PTS events for the C-E System 80＋. This work consist of two parts. The first part provides the visualization tests of the fluid mixing between DVI fluid and existing coolant in the downcomer region, and the second part is to compare the results of thermal mixing tests with DVI in the other test model. Row visualization tests with DVI have clarified the physical interaction between DVI fluid and primary coolant during transient cooldown. A significant temperature drop was observed in the downcomer during the tests of a small break LOCA Measured transient temperature profiles agree well with the predictions by the REMIX code for a small break LOCA and with the calculations by the COMMIX-1B code for a steam line break event.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the direct vessel injection design from a pressurized thermal shock(PTS) viewpoint for the Combustion Engineering System 80+ A break of the main steam line from zero power and a 0.05 ft$^2$small break loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) from full power were selected as the potential PTS events. In order to investigate the stratification effects in the reactor downcomer region, the fluid mixing analysis was performed using the COMMIX-IB code for steam line break and using the REMIX code for 0.05 ft$^2$small break LOCA. The stress distributions within the reactor vessel walls experiencing the pressure and the temperature transients were calculated using the OCA-P code for both events. The results of the analysis showed that a small break LOCA without decay heat presented the greatest challenge to the vessel, however, there is no crack initiation through end-of-life of the vessel with consideration of decay heat.

Extraction of a salient chromagram is utmost important for cover song identification. Cover song refers to a live performance, a remix, or a new recording of a previously recorded track. This paper utilizes the Savitzky-Golay filters in chromagram extraction for suppressing timber-related components of a music signal, which is not preserved while generating cover songs. By removing the timber-related components, the discriminative tonal components, which are conducive for cover song identification, are emphasized in chromagram. Experiments on cover song identification over two datasets show that the Savitzky-Golay filters are more effective in reducing timber effects in chromagram than other types of filters.

본 논문에서는 스크래치2.0을 활용한 초등정보영재의 프로그래밍 교육 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 스크래치는 블록을 쌓는 것만으로 프로그래밍이 가능하기 때문에 프로그래밍을 처음 접하는 초등정보영재 학생의 프로그래밍 교육과정으로 적합하다. 또한 2.0으로 버전업되면서 스크립트 보기(See inside)나 리믹스(Remix)기능이 추가되어 프로그램의 공유 및 협업이 더 용이하여졌다. 따라서 이러한 스크래치2.0의 기능을 사용한다면 학습자에게 필요한 협업 및 의사소통 능력을 기르게 하는데 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 또한 영재학생들은 학습자 스스로 목표를 정하고 계획을 능동적으로 수행해나갈 때 높은 성과를 보이는 특성이 있다. 따라서 자기 주도적 학습 모형을 영재학생들에게 사용한다면 더 효과적이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 스크래치 2.0을 활용하여 Treffinger의 자기 주도적 학습모형을 적용한 프로그래밍 교육 방안을 제안하였다. 추후에 초, 중, 고 영재기관 연계를 위한 프로그래밍 교육위계에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

In today's fashion Street is a birthplace of new generation fashion and Street Fashion have frequently influenced on high fashion. From this view point this study is a meaningful approach to forecast future fashion trend by examining the street style of youth who are regarded as Street Fashion leaders. The purpose of this study is to examine the Youth Fashion style in early 1990s and to pro-vide a reference to fashion designer and mer-chandiser in trend forecasting and product plan-ning. This study is focused on 1990s Youth Fashion style through the historical Street Fashion : 1950s Teddy boys & Mods 1960s Hippies & Skinhead and 1970s Punk. One is grunge fashion created by new gener-ation in opposition to existing generation society and impacting on hish fashion leaders. The other is Remix style that is mixed : sub culture fashion originated by young group in 1950-1970s with 1990s sensitivity. Both fashion styles origionated and led by youth of street have influenced on famous high fashion designeres as well as the general public. Street Fashion will continue to play an import-ant role in future fashion and more study and interest on Street Fashion should be taken by fashion forecaster and related.

The purpose of this study is to find the differences among the clothing brands through examination of present situation about uniform design in domestic coffee houses and provide the basic materials in developing uniform designs to reflect the brand identity. For research contents and method, the overall circumstances were examined about the domestic coffee houses and their uniforms at large via literature review. Then, characteristics on their 10 uniform designs were reviewed according to item, color, pattern and accessary. The following are results. First, cardigan, cap, and necktie according to the individual brand are added with basis of shirt and apron in composition of coffeehouse's uniform. Second, in cardigan, those colors including black, navy and brown are used, reminding of the coffee. Brand logo or symbol is also presented on it, which addresses the brand image. Third, the kind of shirt consists mainly with long or short shirt blouse and long sleeve or short sleeve pique shirt. Job title or gender differentiates the shape and color. Fourth, one-piece type is commonly applied for the apron. At the same time, a short skirt is put on as well. An image expression is often found by the unique brand color also, but mostly, some dark tones like brown or black are largely used. Fifth, in cap, various kinds are worn including the cap as in the case of baseball, fedora, beret, and hunting cap. In color, black or brown color same to that of apron is common, which fails to show differentiation. Thus, consideration of color remix with application of brand symbol is thought to be an alternative to this.

This paper critically investigates the cultural phenomenon surrounding the news mobile phone app in which 'curation', relying on the news editing and adaption, has become much more significant than making the news directly. This study affirms the fact that a copying culture which is basically a combinative effect of duplication (alias) and imitation(mimesis) enables us enrich the human beings' creative activities. However, we need to warn the regressive aspects of copying culture challenging the journalistic principles. This study exemplifies a case of Pikicast, which has become the most rapid growing news content mobile app in Korea. By doing a case study, this paper suggests that 'social gift' should be given to the online users as a whole. The communal and social gift would be an alternative way to the unpaid crawling of the news resources from the digital commons by the news content curating corporation such as Pikicast.
