This paper introduces the different Southeast Asian Studies academic programs of three universities in northeast Asia namely: Peking University (China); Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Japan); and Busan University of Foreign Studies (Korea). This study mainly focuses on the Philippines as part of Southeast Asian studies program in the said universities. The researcher utilized archival work related to the Southeast Asian studies programs of each university. The study also examined the curriculum of the program, background of faculty, and motivations of students in studying Southeast Asian studies by conducting interviews and surveys. Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) Analysis was employed by the researcher in analyzing the data from the different universities. Finally, in mapping out the teaching of Filipino language and Philippine-related subjects, this paper argued that Northeast Asian universities established a Southeast Asian Studies focused on Philippines because of various socio-economic-political factors, and not only because of the Filipino diaspora in the region.
Literacy-related communication and information types naturally occurring in the dramatic play area were observed during free play over a 4 week period. Participants were 21 boys and 16 girls enrolled in a kindergarten class in Taegu. Types of literacy-related communication frequently used during social pretend play were Description, Suggestion, Question, and Answer. Negative types of literacy-related communication, such as Threat, Protest, and Warning were rare. Types of frequently occurring literacy information were about letters & words, and literacy functions. These findings were discussed with respect to curricular implications for the classroom.
The purpose of this study was to analyse the previous color studies. A number of publications and journals were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follows : There were many different subjects in color studies and they were usually categorized into ten fundamental groups : color preferences, color image/symbol/association of ideas, emotion and colors, image making with colors, colors related with consumers' decision making, traditional colors, semantic color description, color plan of apparel merchandise, influential factors on colors, and color coordination preferences. In general, the color preference studies are conducted most actively, and they are followed by the studies of color image/symbol/association of ideas and traditional colors. In the previous studies on the color preferences, they provided sufficient amount of information on the preferred colors and the preferred apparel colors. however, they lacked in providing appropriate explanation on how these color preferences were related with colors in fashion. Also, there have been no thorough studies that questioned the reliability of measurement methods for obtaining color preference data. The authors also realized that it was extremely difficult to find any related publications on the studies that focus various influential variables on the disagreement between the preferred color and preferred apparel color. Thus, this study directed the future studies to solve the problem discussed above.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identified patterns and trend of studies and to analyzed the nursing research related to the mother-child interaction in Korea and to improve direction of nursing research in mother-child interaction in Korea. Method: The research studies related to the mother-child interaction were selected from the Korean Nurses Academic Society Journal, and from dissertation, which were conducted between 1961 and 2002 with the consideration of the condition and the cultural specialty of Korea. The total numbers of the studies were 34. These studies were classified according to 1)time of publication or presentation, 2)research design, 3)type of interaction objects, 4)measurement tool, and 5)chief content of studies. Ressult: 1) Until 1984, there was no research studies related to mother-child interaction. The number of studies on the mother-child interaction on the mother-child interaction has been increased rapidly after 1985. The mother-child interaction studies were 13(38.2%) from the doctoral dissertation, 4(11.8%) from the Master's theses and 17(50%) other papers were published in academic journals. 2) Experimental studies of research design was used in these research studies was 13(38.2%). Descriptive studies was 8(23.6%), correlational studies was 4(11.8%) and comparative studies was 4(11.8%). Qualitative study was just one(2.9%) and literature review was 4(11.8%). Especially experimental studies has been increased. 3) Participants of these studies were mother and infant 29(85.5%), father and infant 2(5.9%), mother and fetus 2(5.9%) and nurse and infant 1(2.9%) 4) Utilization of instruments as follows: 13 studies used Walker et al(1986)'s MIPIS (Mother-Infant Play Interaction Scale), 6 studies used Barnard(1978)'s NCAFS (Nursing Child Assessment Feeding Scale), 4 studies used NCATS(Nursing child Assessment Teaching Scale) for assessing mother-infant interaction. 3 studies used Stainton(1981)'s Parent-Infant Interaction Scale. Choi(1987), Kim(1999) and Kim and Son(1997) used measurement tool researcher made which was modified from NCATS (Nursing child Assessment Teaching Scale) and AMIS(Assessment of Mother-Infant Sensitivity Scale). Other tools used to survey influencing factors of interaction. 5) Content of the research studies were classified 3 different types, such as ① studies about the mother-child interactions' pattern, ② studies about influencing factors of the mother-child interaction, ③ studies about effect of nursing intervention program to improve the mother-child interaction. Conclusion: Therefore we make following suggestions which are made based on the above research analysis : 1) In the future research studies need to compare with other area of discipline in mother-child interaction. 2) More attention and in depth research is needed to validate in terms of research design and statistical data analysis. 3) It is important to develop the instruments which is culturally acceptable in Korea society. 4) The results of correlational studies and experimental studies needs to the integrated by meta analysis.

The way we live on our own is distinguished from those of the other countries while the society changes rapidly globalized with the flow. It is called housing culture when culture is discussed in dwelling, what contains living. With the beginning of building Mapo Apartment in 1962, apartment has become the most popular type of housing and currently is provided more than 50% of housing unit in Korea. Even though it has been criticized for a problem of standardization in its form and social issues, its provide increases in its number and its types become hilghly diversified in construction. Therefore the housing culture of apartment should be accepted as a characteristic of our society and it's time to find the identity of our housing culture and make a progress in it. Studies related to apartment are also increased in its number and diversified in its range. The purpose of this study is to go through the trend of studies related to apartment and to analyze subject and content changes according to politic, social and economic changes for the recent 10 years. The study would provide the basic research material related to apartment both to academic area and companies in the future.
Purpose: In numerous studies, MBSR programs have been shown to reduce stress and improve health-related QOL. Although MBSR programs have been shown to be beneficial, its effects have not been well-determined among Korean populations in clinical nursing practice. The purpose of this review was to describe the effects of MBSR on stress and health-related QOL so that the potential benefits of this intervention may be evaluated for wider application in Korea. Methods: Articles published in peer-reviewed journals in the English or Korean language up to 2009 were reviewed; 14 articles met the inclusion criteria for this review and there were no Korean papers. Results: MBSR groups were found to have significantly reduced stress outcomes relative to non-MBSR groups in 6 of 11 studies. In regards to health-related QOL, participants of the MBSR programs had increased scores after MBSR intervention relative to control groups in 5 of 7 studies. Conclusion: MBSR programs was effective in decreasing stress and increased the health-related QOL in the majority of studies reviewed. MBSR merits study in Korean patients to determine whether similar salutary patient outcomes may be obtained.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was (a) to synthesize studies of condom use among South Korean college students, and (b) to appraise the quality of each article using Gough's weight of evidence. Methods: Studies published in English and Korean were searched in electronic databases using the terms "student or college student or university student or undergraduate", "condom", and "Korea*". Results: Twenty studies met the inclusion criteria, showed appropriate quality, and were therefore selected for review. The variables related to condom use were measured in terms of condom-related factors, factors related to non-condom-related knowledge and attitudes, and other factors. Knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy were associated with condom use, and there were differences in condom-related factors among men and women. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it was confirmed that sexual education is needed for both men and women to promote condom use. Education on condom use should not only focus directly on condoms, but should also address other aspects of knowledge and attitudes to influence health beliefs. In addition, developing educational programs targeting adolescents and parents will have a positive effect on college students' condom use.
The purpose of this study is to synthesize research findings on the relationship between parenting efficacy and the variables related to it, as well as to produce results using meta-analysis. The following questions guide this study : Which variables are frequently conducted in research related to parenting efficacy? What is the effect size of each variable? The 65 studies whose results are analyzed in this paper were collected via a search for investigations focusing on 'parenting efficacy'. The studies were used for meta-analysis in which eleven variables were selected. The results of the analysis indicate that a large effect size is produced by the parenting stress in a negative direction. A higher than medium effect size occurs on the basis of parenting beliefs in a negative direction. A higher than medium effect size is also caused by the father's involvement in child care and social support. A medium effect size is produced on the basis of children's temperament, and a small effect size is the result of the mother's academic background, parenting knowledge, and parent's income. There is no relationship between parenting efficacy and children's gender.

Whilst Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) can provide important insights over time and across contexts among rotation workers whose work periods alternate with leave at home, it can also be challenging to implement in the resources and construction sectors. This review aimed to provide a summary of the methodological characteristics of EMA studies assessing health outcomes and related behaviors in rotation workers. Systematic searches in PubMed, Medline, EMBASE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and Scopus were done to include 23 studies using EMA methods in assessing health-related outcomes and behaviors. EMA designs included daily diary: assessments once per day typically fixed at the end of day (47.8%), within day fixed interval time-based design: assessments on multiple times per day at certain times of day (17.4%) and combination of both designs (34.8%). Studies employed paper and pencil diaries (73.9%) and one or more electronic methods (60.9%): wrist-worn actigraphy device (52.2%) and online-based diaries (26.1%) for data collection. Most of the studies (91.3%) did not report prompting -EMAs by schedule alerts or compliance. Daily diary and within day fixed interval dairies designs are common, with the increasing use of electronic EMA delivery techniques. It is unclear how well participants adhere to assessment schedules, as these are inadequately reported. Researchers should report compliance-related information.

This study examined research trends in AI ethics education and attempted to suggest a direction for AI ethics education. As a result of the research, two studies were conducted in 2017. There are no studies in 2018 and 2019, and there are 6 studies in 2020. Since then, research has continued to increase, with 19 studies in 2021 and 18 studies in 2022. There were a total of 37 lead authors of the study. There were six lead authors who had published papers for more than two years, and two lead authors who had published papers for more than three years. In addition, to examine the details of AI ethics education, a total of 265 keywords that went through a refining process were divided into education-related, ethics-related, AI-related, and other-related. Although the necessity and importance of research on AI ethics education is expected to increase, there are not many researchers who continuously conduct research on AI ethics education. Accordingly, there is a need to find ways to continue research on AI ethics education. AI ethics education is being conducted under various names such as moral education, ethics education, liberal arts education, and AI education. Accordingly, research on AI ethics education at various levels and forms should be conducted, not just educational research on artificial intelligence ethics in terms of regular subjects.
