현대자동차 비정규직의 정규직 되기: 투쟁과 협상의 변주곡, 2003-2016년 ('Becoming Regular Employees': A Variation of the Struggle and Bargaining of Irregular Workers at Hyundai Motor Company, 2003-2016)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 현대자동차 비정규직 노동자의 정규직화 투쟁과 협상 과정을 사회운동론의 관점에서 분석하고, 그 성과와 한계를 종합적으로 평가하는 것이다. 2003년 비정규직 노동조합이 설립된 이후 현대자동차 사내하청 노동자들은 노사관계의 제도적 틀 바깥에서 불법파견 정규직화 요구를 제기하며 현대자동차를 상대로 투쟁과 협상을 지속했다. 이에 대해 현대자동차는 애초 견지하던 '문제의 부인'에 입각한 대결적 태도에서 벗어나 점차 '협상을 통한 문제 해결'의 자세로 이동했다. 결국 2016년 초 6천 여 명의 사내하청 노동자의 '특별 고용'이라는 운동의 성과가 만들어졌다. 이 과정을 분석하기 위하여 우리는 비정규직 노동운동을 둘러싼 동맹/갈등 체계의 변화와 저항의 사이클을 기준으로 3개의 시기를 구분하였고, 각 시기별 동맹 체계 내의 협력-갈등 관계, 비정규직 운동과 갈등 체계와의 대결-협상 관계, 동맹/갈등 체계 사이에서 등장한 유력한 중재자의 역할 등을 통해 비정규직 노동운동의 궤적을 살펴보았다. 사내하청 노동자의 '특별 고용'으로 귀결된 현대자동차 비정규직 노동운동은 그 가시적 성과에도 불구하고 몇 가지 한계를 드러냈다. 비정규직 노동자들의 요구는 결국 '정규직 되기'로 수렴되었고, 정규직 노조의 동맹 체계로부터의 이탈이 나타났으며, 정규직 전환의 결과 비정규직 노동조합은 소멸의 길로 나아가고 있다. 종합적 평가를 통해 우리는 6천여 명의 사내하청 노동자의 '특별 고용'이 현대자동차 비정규직 문제의 완전한 해결이 아니라는 점을 강조했다. 새롭게 등장하고 있는 현대자동차 생산 현장의 비정규직 문제를 제기하며 글을 마친다.

남성 중고령 근로자의 직무요구도와 건강행동의 종단적 관계 (Longitudinal associations between job demands and health behaviors of middle-aged and older male workers)

  • Objectives: The present study aims to examine associations between job demands and problem drinking, smoking, and practice of regular exercise among middle-aged and older male employees. Methods: Analyses were based on 239 employees aged 50+ and participated the 1st(2006) and the 4th(2012) waves of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing(KLoSA). Panel logit regression analyses were performed to explore longitudinal associations between physical and cognitive job demands and the health behaviors when effects of demographic characteristics and objective job conditions were controlled. Results: Results suggested that first, workers who reported greater cognitive job demands were less likely to engage in problem drinking over the 6-year-period. Second, increased physical demands of the job were associated with greater odds of smoking, while physical demands predicted a reduced likelihood of practicing regular exercise. Conclusions: Results from the present analyses emphasize job demands could lead workers to problem health behaviors and suggest areas for health promotion efforts at the workplace that are sensitive to the needs of aging workers.

일부지역 산업체 근로자들의 구강건강관리 행태에 관한 조사 (A Study of Oral Health Care Pattern of the Industrial Workers in Ulsan Metropolitan City)

  • In this study, oral health promotion behaviors of employees, daily frequency of tooth brushing, tooth brushing method, brushing time, whether or not to use oral hygiene accessories, and regular dental check-up to investigate oral health status of workers to the workplace and was to provide basic data for the development of oral health program to promote oral health. This study was performed from 2011 May 2 to May 20, 249 industrial workers in Ulsan metropolitan city surveyed and collected data using PASW 18.0 ver, descriptive statistics, Pearson's chi-square test was performed. In the result, the importance of oral health recognition was lacked, in order to maintain and promote the oral health status of industrial workers, regular dental check-up on oral health counseling and oral health education were conducted together and raising awareness of workers' oral health was necessary to improve level of oral health status.

계획된 행동이론을 적용한 사업장 여성근로자의 운동실천 차이 분석 (Predicting Exercise Behavior in Female Workers: An Application of the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • The objectives of this study were to verify the determinants of regular exercise behavior in female workers by applying a modified Theory of Planned Behavior. The variables investigated for this study were health status, health concern, health habit, attitude (7 items), subjective norm (3 items), and perceived behavioral control(5 items). Data was collected from 204 female workers using a self-administered questionnaire. The results of this study were as follows. 1) Regular exercise behavior was significantly influenced by perceived behavior control for time, pleasurable attitude, and the subjective norm of their colleagues. 2) A modified Theory of Planned Behavior is particularly useful in explaining exercise behavior of female workers. We suggest that health care providers should focus on not only attitude and social norms but also perceived behavioral control in order to improve the exercise behavior of female workers.

호텔 정규직과 비정규직 종사원의 조직 특성요인이 직무 만족 및 조직 몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Organizational Characteristics on Job Satisfactionand Organizational Commitment in Hotel Regular & Non-regular Employees)

  • This study is intended to identify how the organizational factors of hotel employees influence their job satisfaction and organizational commitment by the type of employment. Samples used for data analysis are 452 workers working for hotel companies including 276 regular employees and 176 non-regular employees. The results are as follows: first, the job satisfaction of regular employees is generally higher than that of non-regular employees. Second, the degree of affective and continuous commitment showed significant difference by the type of employment, but normative commitment did not. Third, according to the result of how job satisfaction influences organizational commitment, the job satisfaction of non-regular employees alone is not affected by the relationship of senior officers and coworkers.

일부 직장 남성들의 운동형태가 심혈관질환의 위험 예측인자에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Exercise Type on Cardiovascular Disease Risk Index Factors in Male Workers)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of the effects of three exercise types on anthropometric and serum lipids and physiological index factors, which are known to be the three risk factors of cardiovascular disease in male workers. Methods : The experimental study period was 12 weeks. In this study, 30-40's males (N=31) were assigned to 3 experimental groups: regular aerobic(treadmill walking) exercise group, regular anaerobic(muscular endurance) exercise group, irregular aerobic & anaerobic exercise group and a control group using a stratified random assignment method. Results : In relation to anthropometric factors, the regular aerobic & anaerobic exercise groups showed significant decreases in Weight, Broca's index, WC, BMI, WHtR, WHpR and HRrest. With regard to the serum lipid factors, the TC was decreased, but the HDL-c increased among the regular aerobic & anaerobic exercise groups. However, no significant difference was found between the other groups in respect to the LDL-c and TG. Considering the physiological factors, the TC/HD-c, TC-HDL/HDL-c, LDL-C/HDL-c and NON-HDL-c ratios were decreased, but the HDL-c/TC ratio increased among the regular aerobic & anaerobic exercise groups. The TG/HDL-c and HDL-c/LDL-c ratios showed no significant differences between the groups. These results indicated that the positive change for each factor is much larger in the regular exercise groups, especially in the anaerobic exercise group. Conclusions : The results indicate that not only regular aerobic exercise, but also regular anaerobic(muscular endurance) exercise could be utilized in lessening the deleterious effects of the risk index factors for cardiovascular disease.

고용 형태가 위탁급식 업체 조리종사자의 급식 안전사고 인식에 미치는 영향 (Research on Actual Workplace Safety Accidents and Recognition of Workplace Safety by Employment Types of Contracted Foodservice Management Company)

  • The purpose of this study was to reduce safety accidents among food employees in contracted foodservice management companies, and to help provide high-quality foodservice and assistance. For this, a survey on the different opinions of workplace safety and education by employment type and employee perceptions of environment and safety at foodservice operations was carried out. The analysis showed that among the workers many women were irregular employees. For average age, between 40 and 49 was the most frequent, and for work duration, under one year was highest. Both regular employees and irregular employees deemed "enough staff" as the most major factor for good foodservice. The regular employees and irregular employees thought "high indoor temperatures and poor ventilation in the kitchen area" and "bad work cooperation between employees" as the main problems of foodservice operations, respectively. For satisfaction with the efficiency of foodservice production system, irregular employees had higher satisfaction than regular employees. Both regular employees and irregular employees thought "the number of foodservice employees" as the foremost improvement for safety-accident prevention and work-stress improvements. Regular employees, more than irregular employees, thought improvements in foodservice production systems would have a large affect on safety-accident prevention and work-stress improvements of food workers. Both regular employees and irregular employees thought "foodservice employees' safety consciousness" was an important part of safety-accident prevention. Likewise, they responded that "lectures by the person in charge of safety education" was a good methods of safety education, and "once a month" was the best period for safety education. For the difference in perceptions of environment and safety in foodservice systems, regular employees had a higher perception of safety than irregular employees.

일부 근로자의 심폐지구력에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Effecting to the Cardiorespiratory Fitness on the Workers)

  • To find out the factors affecting to the cardiorespiratory fitness of some workers in Taejon area, cardiorespiratory fitness indices, blood pressure(BP), total cholesterol level(TC), body mass indices(BMI) and life style data were collected from 169 blue collar workers and 106 white collar workers, from September to October 2000. 1. Cardiorespiratory fitness indices were increased statistically significantly by aging(p <0.05), but these was no statistically significantly difference between blue collar workers and white collar workers. 2. These were no significantly difference between types of workers by BMI, BP, blood total cholesterol level, regular exercise, alcohol drinking, smoking and psychosocial stress. 3. Age and BMI were selected affecting factors to the cardiorespiratory fitness indices in blue collar workers by multiple regression analysis, but no affecting factors selected the white collar workers.

민간부문 사회복지사의 보수만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Analysis on Factors Influencing Pay Satisfaction of Social Workers in the Private Sector)

  • 본 연구는 민간부분 사회복지사의 보수만족에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보고 보수수준을 향상시키기 위한 정책적인 방안을 도출하기 위해 진행되었다. 이에 사회복지사의 보수수준에 대한 전반적인 실태와 수준을 살펴보았고, 보수만족의 영향요인을 분석하였다. 연구에 활용된 분석자료는 2015년 보건복지부와 한국보건사회연구원에서 조사된 원 자료를 이차분석 하였고, 분석방법은 기술분석, 상관관계와 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지사는 여성, 고학력, 실무자, 정규직이 많았고 대부분 집단에서 보수에 불만족하였다. 둘째, 보수만족의 영향요인에서 여성, 저연령일수록, 학력수준이 낮을수록, 보수수준이 높을수록, 비정규직에서 보수만족이 높았다. 셋째, 보수만족에 영향을 미치는 주요요인은 보수수준과 후생요인이었다. 넷째, 사회복지사의 보수만족의 영향력을 고려한 실천적, 정책적 함의와 연구의 한계를 담았다.

우리나라의 연구개발활동이 비정규직 확산에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Korea's R&D Activities on Expansion of Contingent Job)

  • 본 연구는 기업들이 효율성 제고 전략의 일환으로 정규직을 임금이 낮은 비정규직 노동력으로 대체하는 현상과 연구개발 활동과의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 즉, 정규직을 비정규직 노동력으로 대체하는 것이 가능한 이유로 우리나라에서 비정규직의 확대로도 제품 경쟁력의 유지를 가능하게 만드는, 연구개발의 방향성에 주목하는 것이다. 이러한 논의를 실증하기 위해, VAR 방법론에 의한 추정결과를 살펴보면, 우리나라의 연구개발비 지출 증가세가 GDP 증가는 물론, 정규직의 대리변수인 상용직 변화와 비정규직의 대리변수인 임시직 및 임시일용직의 비율의 변화에 모두 Granger Causality가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 충격반응 함수 추정 결과를 살펴보면, 연구개발비에 외부적 충격이 가해지고 6~7분기 후에는 상용직 증가세가 줄어드는 것으로 나타났으며, 임시직 고용은 120분기 뒤에는 다시 상승세로 전환되는 등의 반응 양상이 나타나는 것으로 나타났다. 한편으로 이러한 분석 결과를 기반으로 향후 임시직/상용직 비율의 변화를 전망한 결과, 일정 기간의 감소세를 보이다 상승세로 반전하여 지속적인 상승세를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 임시직/상용직 비율의 증가세가 지속된다는 예측 결과는 연구개발비 지출의 확대에 따른 기술 변화가 노동시장의 불안정성과 연관성이 깊다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 현상을 극복하기 위해서 기업의 비용절감 위주의 경쟁전략이 수정되어야 하며, 보다 적극적인 연구개발 인력 양성 계획의 수립 및 실천, 축적된 숙련에 기반하는 산업의 육성책 도입 등이 필요하다.
