본 연구는 정보서비스측면에서 국내 문헌정보학 교과목의 문제점을 다루어봄으로써 교육의 전문성과 현장적응성을 높이기 위한 방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이률 위해 국내 32개 대학의 2005년과 2009년의 문헌정보학 교과목의 변화를 분석하였으며, 미국의 현황과 비교하였다. 조사결과, 국내 문헌정보학의 경우, 개론 및 원론위주의 교과목이 많은 부분을 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대학 간 제공 교과목의 수에 차이가 많았으며, 도서관 현장에 대한 이해 및 관찰, 그리고 참여가 이루어지는 교과목이 부족한 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 효율적인 정보서비스 교과목의 운영을 위해서는 이용자와 주제에 대한 이해 및 서비스를 위한 과정의 제공과 도서관 현장과의 연계방안을 통한 실무교육을 강화할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 이용자교육과 커뮤니케이션 능력 향상을 위한 교과목의 확충과 대학별 특화도 시급한 것으로 분석되었다.

The MLVA assay is known to have a high ability to identify and discriminate Brucella species, so that it can be used as an epidemiological tool to discriminate Brucella isolates originating from restricted geographic sources. In this study, the genetic profiles of 38 B. abortus isolates from humans were analyzed and compared with genotypes from animal isolates in South Korea. As a result, it was found that they did not show high genetic diversity and were compacted. They were clustered together with animal isolates, showing a significant correlation to regional distributions. With its ability to prove a significant genetic correlation among B. abortus isolates from animals and humans in South Korea, the MLVA assay could be utilized as part of a program to control and eradicate brucellosis, one of the major zoonoses. This study represents the first data of genetic correlation of B. abortus isolates from humans and animals in South Korea.

이 메일을 이용한 정보봉사는 가장 초기 형태의 디지털 정보봉사서비스로써 도서관분야에서 가장 초기에 발달되었었던 것이다. 그러나 이용자와 도서관 입장에서는 이러한 종류의 서비스가 전통적 방식의 정보봉사서비스와 비교 했을 때 여러 가지 취약점을 노출시켰던 것이 사실이다. 이러한 배경 하에서, 특정의 소프트웨어를 이용한 실시간의 정보봉사서비스가 제공되기 시작하였다. 이러한 실시간의 정보봉사서비스가 이 논문의 주관심사이다. 이 논문은 채팅을 통한 정보봉사서비스를 서비스 마케팅적 관점에서 다루며 서비스가 지니는 독특한 특성들과 서비스 품질이라는 개념을 바탕으로 하여 적절한 마케팅 전략을 제시하고자 하였다.

As smart phones have become widely adopted, they have brought about changes in individual lifestyles, as well as significant changes in the industry. As the mobile technology of smart phones has become associated with all areas of industry, it is not only accelerating innovation in other industries such as shopping, healthcare service, education, and finance, but is also creating new markets and business opportunities. The preparation of thorough security measures for smart phones is increasing in demand. While offering excellent mobility and convenience, smart phones can be exposed to a range of violation threats. In particular, it is necessary to make efforts to develop a security system that can preemptively cope with potential security threats in the banking service area, which requires a high level of reliability. This paper suggests a security reference model that is considered for the smart phone-based joint mobile banking development project being undertaken by the Bank of Korea in 2010. The purpose of this study is to make a security reference model for a reliable smart phone-based mobile financial service, by recognizing the specific security threats directed toward smart phones, and providing countermeasures to these security threats. The proposed mobile banking security reference model is useful in improving system security by systematically analyzing information security threats to the mobile financial service, and by presenting the guideline for the preparation of countermeasures.

공공도서관에서 제공하고 있는 디지털참고봉사의 현황과 발전을 이해하기 위하여, 전국의 공공도서관 홈페이지를 직접 접속하여 관찰하고 이용 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였으며, 2003년에 수집하였던 데이터와 비교하였다. 모두 404개의 디지털참고봉사사이트에 대하여, 접근수준, 서비스방식, 링크명칭, 서비스정책, 웹폼, FAQ 등 서비스 제공 관련 특성을 분석한 후, 15일간 수행된 질문응답 데이터를 수집하여 이용도서관, 이용수준, 응답비율, 질문유형 등 서비스 성능을 분석하였다. 서비스 현황에 대한 이해와 문제점, 그리고 4년 동안에 걸친 변화가 식별되었으며, 향후 발전을 위한 제언이 이루어졌다.

본고는 1980년대와 90년대를 거쳐 미국과 캐나다에서 활발히 이루어졌던 기록정보 서비스에 대한 논쟁을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 기록정보 서비스의 본질과 의미를 고찰하고자 한다. 당시 학자들은 논쟁을 통해 기록관리가 기록 중심에서 이용자 중심으로 바뀌어야 하는가에 대해 다양한 의견을 피력했고, 기록관리의 의미와 원칙에 대해 재확인했다. 이러한 이용자 중심의 기록정보 서비스 논쟁을 바탕으로 본고의 후반부에서는 한국의 정보공개 청구 중심으로 이루어지는 기록정보 서비스를 살펴보고 문제를 제기하였다.

한국에서 제공하고 있는 위성항법보정서비스는 지상 기반의 Differential GNSS 서비스가 대표적이다. 한국은 이 위성항법보정서비스를 확대하기 위해 위성 기반의 위성항법보정시스템을 구축하고 있다. 위성 기반의 위성항법보정시스템은 SBAS(Satellite Based Augmentation System)이라 불린다. SBAS를 운영하기 위해서는 지상 기반의 위성항법보정시스템과 마찬가지로 지상에 SBAS 기준국이 설치되어야 한다. 이 SBAS 기준국은 지상기반의 DGNSS 기준국과 함께 설치될 수 있으며, 이를 위해서는 DGNSS 시스템이 SBAS 기준국용 수신기중 하나인 NovAtel 사의 G-III 수신기와 연동되어야 한다. 이 논문에서는 SBAS 기준국용 수신기인 G-III 수신기와 연동하기 위한 소프트웨어 모듈을 설계하고, 이 모듈을 DGNSS 기준국 시스템에 추가할 수 있도록 RS, IM 소프트웨어의 아키텍처를 변경하였다.

본 연구는 연구자가 도서관을 직접 방문하여야만 정보입수가 가능하던 전통적 정보조사제공서비스에서 보다 향상된 전자정보조사제공서비스로 연구자가 네트워크를 통하여 원격지에서 정보서비스를 받을 수 있는, 연구자에게 보다 편리한 인터페이스를 제공해주는 시스템이다. 본 시스템을 구축하기 위한 기초연구로 연구자들의 정보이용행태 조사를 위하여 연구자 300명에게 설문조사를 하였으며 실제 이용 연구자들로부터 시스템 평가를 받았다. 그 결과 본 시스템은 연구생산성 향상에 매우 유용한 시스템으로 평가되었다.

The purpose of this study was to obtain the various basic data for introduction of information and referral service in the Korean public libraries. For the purpose, this study was conducted by carrying out theoretical research on the concept and definition of information and referral service, the type and level of the service and the needs for introduction of the service in public libraries and using questionnaires with 242 public libraries(reference librarians) all over the country, so as to examine the librarians' views on the whole service. The questionnaire mainly included questions about actual status, present level and understanding level of the service, reference librarians' response to needs for introduction of the service, and type and level of the service available when the service has been introduced. In conclusion, this study will help to establish basic foundation, so that the Korean public libraries can realize equalization of the service and promote the information and referral service.

이 글은 광도대학부속도서관의 석교민생씨가 ‘현대의도서관’ 1980년 3월호에 ‘대학도서관에 있어서 Reference Service의 장래’이라고 제목하여 게재한 것을 번역한 것이다. 참고업무란 영어로 Reference Work 또는 Reference Service에 대한 역어(엄격한 의미로서는 차이가 있음)로서 도서관의 전문적인 활동 가운데에서 중요한 핵심을 이루고 있는데, 이것의 기원은 S.R. Ranganathan (Reference Service, 1940)의 도서관의 5대원칙에서 도서관의 참고업무가 출발되었다. 여기서 발출한 참고업무가 현실적으로 많은 제약과 한정된 도서관 자원 속에서 이용자에 대한 효과적인 활동의 방법.평가 등 많은 문제가 존재하고 있다. 그러므로 새로운 시점, 새로운 발상, 새로운 수법에 이한 문제의 해명을 위한 연구 개발이 필요하다고 할 수 있으며, 참고업무에 관한 문제 해명은 금준의 도서관학의 중요한 논제가 되리라는 것을 의심할 여지가 없다. 이러한 비제에 참고사서가 어떻게 대처해 나아가야 할 것인가 하는 문제에 대해 만은 암시를 얻을 수 있는 자료가 되리라 믿어 소개하는 바이다.
