SMR 회로를 이용한 소형풍력발전 시스템의 센서리스 퍼지 MPPT제어 (Sensorless Fuzzy MPPT Control for a Small-scale Wind Power Generation System with a Switched-mode Rectifier)

  • This paper proposes a low-cost switched-mode rectifier (SMR) for a small-scale wind turbine with a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) system. Also, a sensorless Fuzzy MPPT control is realized by the proposed system. In the PMSG system with the SMR, the synchronous impedance can be replaced as the input inductor of a boost converter. Moreover, the sensorless MPPT control using the Fuzzy technique is carried out by the duty-ratio regulation of the SMR. The relation between the generating power and the duty-ratio is ruled by the chain rule. The wind turbine model is implemented by the squirrel cage induction motor and generated the variable torque when the generator speed is varied. To verify the performance of the proposed system, simulation and experimental results are executed.

  • A novel digital control algorithms are developed for an active power filter (APF) using a pulse-width modulated (PWM) rectifier with current link. A main control algorithm compensating both the reactive power and harmonic currents with fast dynamic response is derived through a vector approach. A space vector modulation technique is developed for the PWM rectifier in order to generate the desired current vector of the APF. The system generates no acoustic noise and it is implemented with a minimal control hardware structure using the Intel 80196 single-chip microcomputer. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme gives good dynamic and static performance for the APF system.

  • A full-bridge secondary dual-resonant DC-DC converter using the asymmetrical pulse-width modulated (APWM) strategy is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter achieves zero-voltage switching for the power switches and zero-current switching for the rectifier diodes in the whole load range without the help of any auxiliary circuit. Given the use of the APWM strategy, a circulating current that exists in a traditional phase-shift full-bridge converter is eliminated. The voltage stress of secondary rectifier diodes in the proposed converter is also clamped to the output voltage. Thus, the existing voltage oscillation of diodes in traditional PSFB converters is eliminated. This paper presents the circuit configuration of the proposed converter and analyzes its operating principle. Experimental results of a 1 kW 385 V/48 V prototype are presented to verify the analysis results of the proposed converter.

  • 본 논문은 직류측 센서만을 갖는 3상 PWM 정류기의 새로운 제어기법을 제안한다. 제어가 내부의 모텔전류와 시스템 전류의 편차를 영으로 제어하여 상전압의 크기와 위상을 추정하고 스위칭 상태와 직류링크전류로부터 상전류를 재구성한다. 제안한 상전압 빛 상전류 센서리스 기법을 PWM 정류기 시스템에 적용한 실험을 통하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper proposes a harmonic a harmonic reduction technique of the parallel-connected twelve-pulse thyristor rectifiers. The proposed system is an improvement over the diode rectifier system with an active interphase reactor [2]. In this scheme, a low KVA (0.15 Po (PU) ) active current source injects a triangular current into an interphase reactor of a twelve-pulse thyristor rectifier along the phase delay angle. The current injection results in near sinusoidal input current with less than 1% THD. Detailed analysis of the proposed scheme along scheme along with design equations is illustrated. Simulation results verify the concept.

  • A new control technique is proposed to reduce the distortion of UPS output voltage. The Load of UPS is rectifier which has many harmonics on its output current in many cases. The distortion of output voltage by the harmonics is repeated at the same position in one cycle. Therefore we can assume that the next cycle wave form would be similar to the previous one. The repeated error can be estimated and be compensated by the Multi controller at every sampling times.

  • Shunt active power filter is a complete current source which can provide an effective and adjustable solution for elimination of harmonic currents in power system. Its performance depends on strategy employed in reference current generation, control technique and topology of converter used in the design.[1-2]. In this paper Three Phase Six switch Z-source rectifier with active power filtering capability based on instantaneous reactive power theory is described. Thanking to the theory power factor and THD value are significantly improved. Experiment results and conclusions are presented.

Energy harvesting from conducted electromagnetic interference of fluorescent light for Internet of Things application

  • A novel energy harvesting technique that uses conducted electromagnetic interference as an energy source is presented. Conducted EMI generated from fluorescent light using a switched-mode power supply was measured and modeled as an equivalent voltage source. Two types of rectifier circuits-a bridge rectifier and a voltage doubler-were used as the harvesting devices for conducted EMI source. The matching networks were designed based on the equivalent model, and the harvested power was improved. The implemented energy harvester produces a regulated power over 68.9 mW and current over 15.1 mA while a regulated voltage can be selected between 3.3 V and 5 V. The proposed system shows the highest harvesting power indoor environment and can provide enough power for the Internet of Things devices.

  • 본 논문에서는 진동 에너지를 이용하여 에너지를 수확하는 전파 정류 하베스팅 회로를 설계하였다. 설계된 회로는 저전압에서도 전력효율이 우수하도록 Beta-Multiplier를 이용하여 Body-Bias technique을 Negative Voltage Converter에 적용하였으며, Comparator를 Bulk-Driven type으로 설계하였다. 제안된 회로는 $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정으로 설계하였으며, 설계된 회로의 칩 면적은 $931{\mu}m{\times}785{\mu}m$이다.

A Carbohydrate Fraction, AIP1, from Artemisia Iwayomogi Reduces the Action Potential Duration by Activation of Rapidly Activating Delayed Rectifier $K^+$ Channels in Rabbit Ventricular Myocytes

  • We investigated the effects of a hot-water extract of Artemisia iwayomogi, a plant belonging to family Compositae, on cardiac ventricular delayed rectifier $K^+$ current ($I_K$) using the patch clamp technique. The carbohydrate fraction AIP1 dose-dependently increased the heart rate with an apparent $EC_{50}$ value of $56.1{\pm}5.5\;{\mu}g/ml$. Application of AIP1 reduced the action potential duration (APD) in concentration-dependent fashion by activating $I_K$ without significantly altering the resting membrane potential ($IC_{50}$ value of $APD_{50}$: $54.80{\pm}2.24$, $IC_{50}$ value of $APD_{90}$: $57.45{\pm}3.47\;{\mu}g/ml$). Based on the results, all experiments were performed with $50\;{\mu}g/ml$ of AIP1. Pre-treatment with the rapidly activating delayed rectifier $K^+$ current ($I_{Kr}$) inhibitor, E-4031 prolonged APD. However, additional application of AIP1 did not reduce APD. The inhibition of slowly activating delayed rectifier $K^+$ current ($I_{Ks}$) by chromanol 293B did not change the effect of AIP1. AIP1 did not significantly affect coronary arterial tone or ion channels, even at the highest concentration of AIP1. In summary, AIP1 reduces APD by activating $I_{Kr}$ but not $I_{Ks}$. These results suggest that the natural product AIP1 may provide an adjunctive therapy of long QT syndrome.
