Korean passive verbs are derived from their corresponding active verbs by suffixation or by adding endings and auxiliaries to their stems. Therefore. we assume p passive verbs share some lexical informations with their active counterparts. This paper extending the Generative Lexicon theory of Pustejovsky (995). aims to characterize the argument realization patterns of Korean passive verbs focusing on the case alternation a and to propose their lexical semantic structures which account for the syntactic behavior.

The system realization of 2D barcode electrothermal printer for the adapted scanner recognition is presented. The 2D barcode leads the horizontal and vertical definition to recognize the scanner being an important part in system. The high definition electrothermal printer of 300dpi resolution used power historic control technique to vertical and horizontal coordinate is realized. The result of experiment is that the system enhances the quality of print image to require recognizing 20 barcode.

In this paper, there is presented the novel encoder circuit design method in the realization of exponential adaption process on the delta modulation coding of speech signals. The digital implementation has been adapted for the illustration of above, especially using a rate multiplier end a double integration circuit. The use of a double integration of the local decoder included in the ADM encoder in prove the undesirable characteristics which the low switching speed of the ratemultiplier couses the SQNR to decreuse, and the SQNR of the decoding signal by above realization is relatively uniformed in wide range of signal levels. The validity of the above design is verified by laboratory experiments.

For the realization of the national self-defense, the trend of the defense R&D projects becomes global and diverse with the increase of their budget. Thus, for the effective execution of the budget and the successful performance of the projects, the importance of selection, management and evaluation of the R&D projects is emphasized. This study suggests the applicability of a meta-evaluation model for the realization of the successful defense R&D project evaluation system. This study focused on the development of the meta-evaluation model design which can be applicable to the national defense R&D projects. Using the proposed meta-evaluation model, we propose a technique to enhance the fairness and the reliability of the national defense R&D projects evaluation system.

In the conventional infrared imaging system, complex infrared lens systems are usually used for directing collimated narrow infrared beams into the high speed 2-dimensional optic scanner. In this paper, a simple reflective infrared optic system with a 2-dimensionaloptic scanner is proposed for the realization of medical infrared thermography system. It has been experimentally proven that the infrared thermography system composed ofthe proposed optic system has the temperature resolution of $0.1{\circ}C$ under the spatial resolution of 1mrad, the image matrix size of $256{\times}240$, and the imaging time of 4 seconds.

In this paper, several modal identification techniques for output-only structural systems are extensively investigated. The methods considered are the power spectral method, the frequency domain decomposition method, the Ibrahim time domain method, the eigensystem realization algorithm, and the stochastic subspace identification method. Generally, the power spectral method is most widely used in practical area, however, the other methods may give better estimates particularly for the cases with closed modes and/or with large measurement noise. Example analyses were carried out on typical structural systems under three different loading cases, and the identification performances were examined throught the comparisons between the estimates by various methods.

Digital signal processors(DSP) are widely used in modern power conversion devices, ac motor drives. However, generating pulse-width modulation(PWM) gating signals requires so high sampling rates that most computation resources of the DSP must be devoted to generating them. This paper presents an ASIC realization of 2 channel space-vector PWM(SVPWM). The developed DSP(ECLDSP) board can transmit gating signals to 2 converter/inverter and control them. ECLDSP board is used for control the various kinds of power-quality improvement systems.

ZnO is a promising material for UV or blue LEDs p-Type ZnO thin films which are imperative for the p-n junction of LEDs are difficult to achieve because of strong compensation of intrinsic defects such as zinc interstitial and oxygen vacancy. The method of codoping group three elements and group five elements is effective for the realization of p-type ZnO films. In this study, We codoped N and Al m ZnO thin films by RF magnetron sputtering and annealed the films in sputtering chamber. Some films showed p-type conductivity m Seeback effect measurement.

Production schedule and realization quantity of Large type bus [929(HD), 928, 928-A(SD), 937E/L, 937/L,] were analyzed in order to intruoduce FMS(Flexible Manufacturing System) appropriate for varities of customer desire and multi-item, small lot production. And this paper is aimed to propose introduction method of FMS, analyzing zig tools change times and idle times with production line and workers as an object. According to analysis results, only simple spec., depending on bus type, changed with decrease in production. For 929(HD), 928,928-A(SD), 937Eh, 937/L bus type, there was no harmony between schdule and realization. Therefore, it caused many difficulties in part supply. And there was loss of manpower and reduction of productibility due to idle time of process with bus type change. Production processes were operated inefficiently because tact time exceeded or shortaged of allow time.

The study examines how Koreans' politeness is realized in a speech act, request. The main focus is to explore underlying rationale and influence involved in their performance, not just the comparison of difference in politeness realization between native and nonnative speakers of English, as previous studies did. The study employs the DCT, an attached politeness scale questionnaire, and interviews. Twenty nine university students participated in the study. Interchangeable reading of the three data yields some interesting and valuable insights. The participants heavily rely on a few formulaic expressions to express politeness, such as interrogatives with modal verbs, please and excuse me as a politeness marker. They want to use honorific address terms that is literally translated into English, and have a belief that there are honorific words in English as in Korean. The study refers to the participants' voice on indirectness, nonverbal messages, and expressions with different connotations between English and Korean.
