  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of interpersonal contact anxiety due to COVID-19 on the relationship between eating-out motivations of Korean and Chinese consumers, dining out, and delivery-takeout. As a result of examining the moderating effect of Korean consumers' interpersonal contact anxiety, it was found that interpersonal contact anxiety had a moderating effect to weaken the positive influence of rational motivation on dining out. As a result of examining the moderating effect of Chinese consumers' interpersonal contact anxiety, it was found that interpersonal contact anxiety had a moderating effect to weaken the positive influence of rational motivation on dining out. But the positive influence of emotional motivation on dining out was increased. Also, it was found that interpersonal contact anxiety had a moderating effect that strengthened the positive influence of rational motivation on delivery, and it also had the effect of weakening the positive effect of emotional motivation on delivery. It was found that interpersonal contact anxiety had a moderating effect to strengthen the positive influence of emotional motivation on takeout.

  • This study explored effects of spectators' motivation on their satisfaction from culture-art performance. Most studies of performing arts have focused on effects of marketing elements. However, this study first looked at important elements affecting audiences' satisfaction to identify considerations for effective design processes for performing arts. Second this paper examined how audiences' satisfaction affect their stress in order to understand the relationship between audiences' satisfaction and their psychological stability. This study found that emotional satisfaction and rational satisfaction could improve emotional satisfaction, while only emotional motivation could affect aesthetic satisfaction. According to our analysis, emotional satisfaction led to psychological stability and reduced audiences' stress.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore related variables to influence gifted college students' career conviction and to propose a structural model. For the study, 292 college students who have experienced university affiliated gifted education program during their school days. Rational decision making test, intrinsic motivation test, career decision efficacy test, and major conviction test were utilized. SPSS program and AMOS were used for statistical analyses. The results are summarized as follows. The fit of measurement model was found to be TLI=.923, CFI=.951, RMSEA=.077, indicating most of the fit indexes were acceptable. The path to career conviction from rational decision making and intrinsic motivation was found to be insignificant, suggesting a revised model. The fit of final revised measurement model was found to be TLI =.926, CFI=.951, RMSEA=.075, indicating the model was acceptable. Interestingly, the career decision efficacy was found to be the complete mediator among the rational decision making, intrinsic motivation, and career conviction. The results of the study showed that career decision efficacy has a very important role in gifted college students'career choice and decision. Implication of the study related to the career education and counseling has been discussed in depth.

  • Today's economy is becoming more and more convergence between different industries as the demarcation of the boundaries of all areas is leading to innovations such as mobile and social network services. So Fin-tech is a new technology that can combine the advantages of mobile and Internet with the technology revolution to easily handle financial and IT tasks. This Fin-tech is a compound word of finance and technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the overall structural relationship between Fin-Tech use motivation (usefulness, enjoyment) on user attitude and word of mouth intention. In addition, we investigated how FinTech use motivation, user attitude, and word of mouth intention change according to innovation resistance tendency. And, we examined how the motivation, user attitude, and word of mouth intention of FinTech change according to the message type (rational and emotional). The main results of this study are as follows. First, the usefulness and enjoyment of motivation for using FinTech have a positive effect on user attitude, and user attitude also has a positive effect on word of mouse intention. Second, the relationship between FinTech use motivation, user attitude, and word of mouth intention was found to difference according to consumers' innovation resistance. Third, it was found that the relationship between FinTech use motivation, user attitude, and word of mouth intention differs according to type of message (rational, emotional). At the conclusion of the study, the summary of the research results, implications and limitations, and future research direction are described.

  • Rational Functions are used to express the self-excited aerodynamic forces acting on a flexible structure for use in time-domain flutter analysis. The Rational Function Approximation (RFA) approach involves obtaining of these Rational Functions from the frequency-dependent flutter derivatives by using an approximation. In the past, an algorithm was developed to directly extract these Rational Functions from wind tunnel section model tests in free vibration. In this paper, an algorithm is presented for direct extraction of these Rational Functions from section model tests in forced vibration. The motivation for using forced-vibration method came from the potential use of these Rational Functions to predict aerodynamic loads and response of flexible structures at high wind speeds and in turbulent wind environment. Numerical tests were performed to verify the robustness and performance of the algorithm under different noise levels that are expected in wind tunnel data. Wind tunnel tests in one degree-of-freedom (vertical/torsional) forced vibration were performed on a streamlined bridge deck section model whose Rational Functions were compared with those obtained by free vibration for the same model.

  • This study is intended to identify the motivations for seeking child care credentials through online education and factors influencing the career decision-making. The study was conducted among students taking child care courses online, and data was analyzed through t-test, F-test, Scheffe posteriori test, and hierarchical regression analysis. The findings are as follows. 1) Motivation for seeking the credentials varied depending on background variable. Livelihood was a stronger motivation for low-income group than higher come group. Self-realization desire was a stronger motivation for the group with low education level than the group with higher education level. 2) Age affected the participants' career decision-making. The younger they were, the more dependent they were on other people's advice. 3) Different variables influenced the students' rational, intuitional, and dependent career-decision making. Factors influencing their rational career decision-making were age, motivation to acquire the credentials for making a living, and motivation for building a better future. For intuitional career decision-making, age affected the decision. For dependent career decision-making, motivation to seek credentials for making a living was an influencing variable.

  • Compliance with information security policies has been an important managerial concern in organizations. Unlike traditional general deterrent theory, this study proposes whistle-blowing as an alternative approach for reducing internal information security policy violations. We build on the theories of planned behavior and rational choice as well as develop a theoretical model to understand the factors that influence whistle-blowing attitudes and intention at both the organizational and individual levels. Our empirical results reveal that altruistic and egoistic concerns are involved in the development of whistle-blowing attitudes. The results not only extend our understanding of whistle-blowing motivation but also offer directions to managers in promoting internal disclosure of information security breaches.

From March 1, 2019 to April 12, 2019, clinical dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and clinics in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, and Jeonra provinces were sampled as a convenience, using self-informative methods. There was a significant positive correlation between motivation and organizational fairness, and there was a positive correlation with retention intention. Organizational fairness had a positive correlation with retention intention. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the efficiency of the dental hygienists by establishing the working period based on the positive organizational fairness and the application of the active motivation program to increase the dental hygienist's intention.

  • MVNO(Mobile Virtual Network Operator) promotes service competition in mobile telecommunication market and provides various service and opportunities for consumers. This study attempts to identify MVNO Service users' motivational and dissatisfying factors in relation to their willingness for continued use of the service 새 activate MVNO service. Use motivation factors are found as customer service, user interface, easiness, economical efficiency, and dissatisfying factors are handset quality, customer service, social influence. Economic efficiency factor had an affirmative influence on the sustained use motivation of the service users. Among dissatisfying factors, users had a negative influence when they recognize that their neighboring people does not use MVNO service. Policy authorities concerned must excavate a new plan to improve distribution structure of handset and reduce wholesaling cost of the MVNO service. It is necessary for MVNO service provider to develop a new business model so that users can recognize MVNO service not as inferior service but as rational and attractive service.
