  • The uniqueness problems on entire functions sharing at least two values with their derivatives or linear differential polynomials have been studied and many results on this topic have been obtained. In this paper, we study an entire function f(z) that shares a nonzero polynomial a(z) with $f^{(1)}(z)$, together with its linear differential polynomials of the form: $L=L(f)=a_1(z)f^{(1)}(z)+a_2(z)f^{(2)}(z)+{\cdots}+a_n(z)f^{(n)}(z)$, where the coefficients $a_k(z)(k=1,2,{\ldots},n)$ are rational functions and $a_n(z){\not{\equiv}}0$.

  • In this paper, the modified generalized Chebyshev rational function is presented. The new element values of prototype low pass filter are obtained by network synthesis using this rational function. This proposed filter has an equal ripple passband as same as conventional generalized Chebyshev filter, but unlike conventional filter which has only one attenuation pole at finite frequency, the proposed filter has two different from each other attenuation pole in stopband. If the harmonic frequency is set to the second attenuation pole frequency, this harmonic is suppressed efficiently. Furthermore, since the location of the second attenuation pole can be arbitrary adjusted. our filters are very available for the realization of wide stopband, particularly.

  • In this paper, we consider the rational approximation of multiple input delay systems. The method of computing Hankel singular values and vectors is firstly introduced, where explicitly shows the structure of the corresponding Hankel singular vectors. Secondly, rational approximants are obtained from output nor- mal relizations, which are constructed by Hankel singular values and vectors. As a result, it is shown that rational approximants by output normal realization preserve intrinsic properties of time delay systems than Pad'e approximants.

  • The Rational Function Model has been used as a replacement sensor model in most commercial photogrammetric systems due to its capability of maintaining the accuracy of the physical sensor models. Although satellite images with rational polynomial coefficients have been used to determine three-dimensional position, it has limitations in the accuracy for large scale topographic mapping. In this study, high resolution stereo satellite images, QuickBird-2, were used to investigate how much the three-dimensional position accuracy was affected by the No. of ground control points, polynomial order, and distribution of GCPs. As the results, we can confirm that these experiments satisfy the accuracy requirements for horizontal and height position of 1:25,000 map scale.
