The purpose of this study was to explore factors predicting career exploration behavior of engineering students. Career decision making types(rational type, intuitive type, and dependent type) and career decision making self-efficacy were included as predictors for this study. 249 engineering students in Gyeonggi-do of South Korea participated in this study and 231 data analyzed as final samples through multiple regression and mediation analysis. Results showed as follows: first, rational and intuitive decision making significantly predicted career exploration behavior. Also, career decision making self-efficacy completely mediated between these career decision making types(rational and intuitive) and career exploration behavior. The implication of the findings on practice for career education are discussed in the paper.

Using a base-point free version of the infinite symmetric product we define a fibrewise infinite symmetric product for any fibration $E\;\longrightarrow\;B$. The construction works for any commutative ring R with unit and is denoted by $R_f(E)\;l\ongrightarrow\;B$. For any pointed space B let $G_I(B)\;\longrightarrow\;B$ be the i-th Ganea fibration. Defining $M_R-cat(B):= inf{i\midR_f(G_i(B))\longrihghtarrow\;B$ admits a section} we obtain an approximation to the Lusternik-Schnirelmann category of B which satisfies .g.a product formula. In particular, if B is a 1-connected rational space of finite rational type, then $M_Q$-cat(B) coincides with the well-known (purely algebraically defined) M-category of B which in fact is equal to cat (B) by a result of K.Hess. All the constructions more generally apply to the Ganea category of maps.

This study aims to identify and analyze the roles of incumbent smartphone's brand loyalty in smartphone adoption considering rational judgments and aesthetics evaluation. For this purpose, two hypotheses are developed based on dual process theory. For the validation of these hypotheses, G4, a smartphone brand from LG, was adopted as the target smartphone. The participants were university students in Korea, non-LG smartphones. In result, two hypotheses were statistically supported. This study showed that users with higher brand loyalty toward incumbent smartphone would be more sensitive to rational judgment while lower brand loyalty more sensitive to aesthetic evaluation.

This paper presents the fundamental study on rational manu(acture of Very High Strength(VHS) concrete using industrial by-products as like silica fume, slag and fly ash. In this study, we had tested various mixing cases to manufacture the VHS concrete(target compressive strength : over 1,000 kgf/$cm^{2}$) which is easily workable (target slump flow : 60$\pm$l0cm), The main variables studied are; 1) test variables to find the optimum replacement ratio of mineral admixture, 2) test variables to find a rational water-binder ratio, a proper binder content, 3) test variables to find the method for reduction of slump loss, 4) test variables to know the influence of air entrainment on frost resistance. From the test results, it is concluded that the rational mix design can be made by using 40% slag, 10% silica fume, and water reducing agent(slump loss reduction type). We found that it is unnecessary to entrain air for freeze-thawing resistance.

The purposes of this study were to classify the contents of shopping orientation of cosmetics, to group women into shopper types of cosmetics, to investigate the differences in cosmetics purchase behavior according to shopper types, and to examine how the cosmetics satisfaction was influenced by cosmetics shopping orientation and demographic variables. Subjects were 479 women in their 20's to 50's in Seoul, Korea. The factors of the shopping orientation of cosmetics derived by factor analysis:'impulsive shopping','conspicuous shopping','rational shopping', and 'independent shopping. Four shopper types were classified by cluster analysis of the 4 factors. The shopper types were the same as the 4 factors. total satisfaction of cosmetics was influenced by independent shopping orientation, age, brand, impulsive shopping orientation, conspicuous shopping orientation, and rational shopping orientation(R2=.217). Satisfaction of basic cosmetics was influenced by conspicuous shopping orientation. independent shopping orientation. age. rational shopping orientation, impulsive shopping orientation, and social class(R2=.407). Satisfaction of coloring cosmetics was influenced by brand, independent shopping orientation, age, and impulsive shopping orientation(R²=.167).

This paper deals with an equivalent circuit model for RF passive components. Rational functions are obtained from the frequency responses of EM simulation by using Foster canonical partial fraction expressions. The Vector Fitting(VF) and the Adaptive Frequency Sampling(AFS) scheme are also implemented to obtain the rational functions. A passivity enforcement algorithm is applied to ensure the stability of the equivalent circuit model. In order to verify the schemes, S parameters of the equivalent circuit model is compared to those of EM simulation in case of the microstrip line structure with 3 slots in ground.

A fast and robust method of grid generation to multiple functions has been developed for flow analysis in three dimensional space. It is based on the Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline(NURBS) of an approximation method. Many of NURBS intrinsic properties are introduced and much more easily understood. The grid generation method, details of numerical implementation. examples of application, and potential extensions of the current method are illustrated in this paper. The object of this study is to develop the surface grid generation and the grid cluster techniques capable of resolving complex flows with shock waves, expansion waves, shear layers. The knot insert method of Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline seems well worked. In addition, NURBS has been widely utilized to generate grids in the computational fluid dynamics community. Computational examples associated with practical configurations have shown the utilization of the algorithm.

Double-sided punched metal plate timber fasteners present projections on both sides, which offer improved joint fire resistance and better joint aesthetics. In this paper, 3-D nonlinear finite element models were developed to simulate double-sided nail plate fastener timber joints. The models, incorporating orthotropic elasticity, Hill's yield criterion and elasto-plasticity and contact algorithms, are capable of simulating complex contact between the tooth and the timber and between the base plate and the timber in a fastener. Using validated models, parametric studies of the double-sided nail plate joints was undertaken to cover the tooth length and the tooth width. Optimal configuration was assumed to have been attained when increase in nail plate tooth width did not result in a raise in joint capacity, in conjunction with the optimum tooth length. This paper presents the first attempt to model and optimise tooth profile of double-sided nail plate fastener timber joints, which offers rational designs of such fasteners.

Objectives : This paper tried to explain the meaning of Shaoyangzhugu in Huangdineijing. Methods : The opinions on these matters that can be found in the past studies are analyzed to assess the strengths and limitations of today's explanations on the meaning of Shaoyangzhugu. Furthermore, this study attempted to suggest a more rational way of understanding that can supplement the opinions before. Results : The opinions that fail to provide a rational explanation on Shaoyangzhugu were disposed. It was found that the explanation of Shaoyangzhugu through the Shaoyang's pivot function has a potential of providing a rational understanding of Shaoyangzhugu. Following this, this study made a deduction based on the functions of gallbladder found in the Huangdineijing and explained the Shaoyang's pivot function. This study then proceeded to provide an explanation regarding Shaoyangzhugu based on this. Conclusions : Shaoyangzhugu in Huangdineijing is a function to maintain homeostasis of the skeleton of the whole body by Shaoyang's pivot function.

시스템 개발방법론은 소프트웨어 생성을 위한 개발 단계를 정의하고, 활동, 산출물, 검증 절차, 각 단계의 완결 조건을 명시하는 체계적인 방법으로 정의할 수 있다. 정보시스템의 대형화, 복잡화, 분산화 추세에 따라서 표준화된 개발방법론에 대한 관심이 국내에서도 급속히 증가하고 있다. 정보기술의 발전에 따른 신기술의 계속적인 수용과 사용자 요구사항의 변화의 수용, 시스템 개발의 생산성과 품질의 보증을 위해서는 개발방법론과 개발도구의 활용이 필수적이다. 최근 많은 관심을 보이고 있는 마르미(Magic and Robust Methodology Integrated)와 RUP(Rational Unified Process)을 비교 분석하고자 한다.
