The Indoor Environmental Quality Improving and Energy Saving Potential of Phase-Change Material Integrated Facades for High-Rise Office Buildings in Shanghai

  • The conflict between indoor environmental quality and energy consumption has become an unneglectable problem for highrise office buildings, where occupants' productivity is highly affected by their working environment. An effective Façade, therefore, should play the role of an active building skin by adapting to the ever-changing external environment and internal requirements. This paper explores the energy-saving and indoor environment-improving potential of a phase-change material (PCM) integrated Façade. Building performance simulations, combined with parametric study and sensitivity analysis, are adopted in this research. The result quantifies the potential of a PCM-integrated Façade with different configurations and PCM properties, taking as an example a south-oriented typical office room in Shanghai. It is found that a melting temperature of around $22^{\circ}C$ for the PCM layer is optimal. Compared to a conventional Façade, a PCM-integrated Façade effectively reduces total energy use, peak heating/cooling load, and operative temperature fluctuation during the periods of May-July and November-December.

NGN에서의 개방형 IPTV 서비스 (Open IPTV Services over NGN)

  • Internet protocol television (IPTV), one of the most emerging services, offers multimedia streaming services with security, reliability, and relevant quality of service (QoS)/quality of experience (QoE). It provides added values to all the involving players and also brings technical and business challenges to them. For IPTV services, we expect to adopt the next generation network (NGN) environment for high quality and the Web technologies for personalization to meet the customer's necessity. Web can provide an open, flexible, and agile platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose personalized IPTV services based on Web-based open platform in NGN environment and present functional architecture for Web-based personalized IPTV services. Technical issues for deploying the proposed IPTV services using Web are also provided. The objective of this paper is to analyze the critical architectural issues for developing viable and feasible networking platform models for personalized IPTV services.

유비쿼터스 서비스 상태지속을 지원하는 안전한 Jini 서비스 구조 (Secure Jini Service Architecture Providing Ubiquitous Services Having Persistent States)

  • 유비쿼터스 서비스 환경에서는 연결의 신뢰성이 낮고 서비스를 제공하는 시스템에 대한 침입이나 서비스 실패가 발생할 확률이 높다. 따라서 정당한 사용자가 보안상 신뢰할 수 있는 서비스를 중단이나 방해 없이 이용할 수 있게 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 표준 Jini 서비스 환경의 문제점을 지적하고 결함감내 Jini 서비스 개발을 돕는 Jgroup/ARM 프레임워크를 분석한다. 분석을 토대로 보안성과 가용성, 서비스 품질을 만족하는 안전한 Jini 서비스 구조를 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 Jini 서비스 구조는 네트워크 분할이나 서버 붕괴와 같은 결함뿐만 아니라 취약점을 악용한 공격으로부터 시스템을 보호할 수 있으며 Jini 서비스 개체 간에 동적 신뢰를 확립할 수 있는 보안 메커니즘을 제공한다. 또한 사용자 세션별로 서비스 복제를 할당할 수 있어 사용자의 서비스 상태정보 일치를 위한 높은 연산비용을 유발하지 않는다. 테스트베드를 통해 실험한 결과, 서비스 품질 저하를 무시할 수 있는 수준에서 사용자의 서비스 상태지속을 보장하고 높은 보안성과 가용성을 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

지하 주차장의 환기성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimation of Ventilation Performance in the Underground Parking Lot)

  • In past, parking lot was placed on the ground and for the reason air quality was not in problem. But recently parking lot has been placed under the ground and the air quality becomes problem. So in this study, the ventilation performance on the underground parking lot was estimated by using CFD software and alternative system was suggested. Three case studies are handled in this study. 1st case is just an underground parking lot. 2nd case is about an underground parking lot where has 4 fan rooms on each floor and 3rd case is about an underground parking lot where has 4 fan rooms and 30 guidance fans on each floor.

  • 인터넷의 이용이 확산됨에 따라 망과 서비스를 효율적으로 설계하고 운용하기 위해서는 인터넷 품질을 유지하기 위한 네트워크 트래픽 및 상태의 측정이 중요한 자리를 차지하게 되었으며, 이를 위한 기준과 시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 인터넷 트래픽 품질의 측정을 통해 사업자는 사용자들에게 현재 어느 정도의 서비스 품질이 제공되고 있는지를 파악할 수 있고, 사용자들은 자신이 체결한 SLA를 사업자들이 준수하는지를 파악할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터넷 트래픽 품질 관리시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 또한 이 시스템을 상용 인터넷망에 적용하여 곁과를 분석하였다.

근린공원 서비스의 질적 개선을 위한 공원성능평가도구 개발 (Development of Park Performance Assessment Tool (PPAT) for the Qualitative Improvement of Urban Neighborhood Parks)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 근린공원 서비스의 질적 수준을 평가하기 위한 공원성능평가도구(Park Performance Assessment Tool, PPAT)를 개발하는 것이다. 공원성능평가도구(PPAT) 개발 과정은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내·외 공원성능평가도구(PPAT) 관련 사례 분석을 통해 평가항목 풀을 구성하였다. 둘째, 전문가 자문회의 및 시범 평가를 통해 국내 공원 여건에 적합한 평가항목으로 정제하였다. 셋째, 시범 평가를 통한 공원성능평가도구(PPAT)의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 넷째, 전문가 설문조사와 AHP 분석을 통해 평가항목별 가중치를 도출하였다. 다섯째, 공원성능평가도구(PPAT) 평가표와 평가 가이드라인을 작성하였다. 공원성능평가도구(PPAT)를 인천광역시 부평구의 22개 근린공원에 적용하여 물리적 공간 환경의 품질을 평가하였다. 평가 결과, 공원 서비스 개선이 필요한 열악한 질의 근린공원이 다수 발견되었다. 공원성능평가도구(PPAT)는 공원녹지기본계획 수립, 공원 정비사업 우선순위와 사업추진방식 선정, 우수 공원 인증 등에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Intellectualization of Higher Education: An Information and Communication Model

  • Today the system of higher education needs significant reforms. Intellectualization of the educational process in HEIs aims to improve the quality of educational services. Intellectual information technologies are information technologies that help a person to accelerate the analysis of the political, economic, social, and technical situation, as well as the synthesis of management decisions. The basis for their mastery is information and communication technologies. The purpose of the research work is to identify the relationship between the introduction of information and communication technologies and the increase in the level of intellectualization of higher education. The article substantiates the expediency of introducing information and communication technologies in order to improve the intellectualization of the educational process in higher education. An empirical study of the variables that characterize the level of intellectualization of higher education through the proposed techniques has been conducted. The tendencies characteristic of pedagogical conditions of implementation of information and communication model in the educational process were revealed. It is proved that the level of intellectualization of higher education depends on the implemented pedagogical conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed information and communication model is also confirmed. Given the data obtained during the study and the low constraints that may affect the results of further research on this issue should focus on the study of other variables that characterize the state of intellectualization of the educational process.

국내 건축 및 실내디자인 분야의 환경심리행태 연구경향 분석 - 건축 및 실내디자인학회의 연구내용을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Domestic Research Tendencies of Environmental Psychology and Behavior Studies in Architecture and Interior Design Fields - Focus on the Theses of Architecture and Interior Design Institutes -)

  • The 'Environmental Psychology and Behavior Studies' which started from the purpose of "Building the comfortable environment for people", is one of the most essential research area in architecture and intoner design field because of the basis of humanbeing matters. As the development of science and industries, the social circumstances have been more complicated and diversified. As a result, humanbeing require much humanized and high level of quality in space design as well as environmental design. In case of domestic research situation, the research of environmental psychology and behavior studies in architecture and interior design fields, haven't been applied fully in their potential abilities due to the shortage of research history, complexity of humanbeing researches and the vagueness of studies as a major fields. Thus, my purpose of studying is to analizing the previous research tendencies focus on the domestic thesis since 1980 to 2006 from the related research Institutes. Final findings are as follows ; 1. Steadily increasing tile interest ratio of the research field of environmental psychology and behavior studies 2. Concentration of research target spaces are higher from the residential > elderly facilities > educational > and medical spaces. 3. The preference of research theme showed the environmental psychology fundamentals > behavior studies > general studies of environmental psychology > emotional engineering > human factors engineering. 4. Results of crossing analysis ; 1)Residential spaces were the main spaces for main research theme. 2)Main theme used in target spaces were 'environmental psychology fundamentals' and "behavior studies'. 3)Main research methods for the most target spaces were 'sample research' methods.

중국의 정신의료시설 및 지원체계에 관한 법제도 연구 (A Study on the Regulation for Mental Healthcare Facility and Delivery System in China)

  • Purpose: This study analyzes mental healthcare delivery services and types of facilities, the status of installation and operation, and planning standard. The purpose of the study is to propose a basic data for the performance of related research and work tasks, along with an understanding of the Chinese mental healthcare facility type and support system. Furthermore, it will show a lack of current function management as the changes of mental health concept and demand for services increases, and it is intended to provide implications for the construction of mental health facilities. Methods: This study was conducted by a research on law and regulation of China's mental healthcare delivery service system and mental healthcare facility. The analyzed data are the national standard GB, the optional national standard GB/T, the building construction standard JGJ, and the report issued by the Health Planning and Development Committee. Results: At present mental healthcare facility construction in China is in the period of rapid development and it exposes the layout of medical facilities, which is not currently reasonable and the service does not reach the designated position and so on. Overall, it requires more detailed guidelines to enhance the quality of mental healthcare service. Implications: It is expected that the research of this paper will provide effective reference for future research on Chinese Mental healthcare system and facilities, and can promote construction of Chinese mental healthcare facility theory in perfect condition.

  • 연구목적: 최근 시설물 점검 및 진단에 있어 활용되는 첨단장비들이 증가하여 첨단장비의 검·인증제도의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 시설물 점검 및 진단에 활용되는 터널스캐너의 성능검증 방법론을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 시설물 점검 및 진단에 활용되는 첨단장비의 성능검증 사례를 조사하고 전문가 자문회의를 통해 터널스캐너 성능검증 방법론을 제시하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서 제안하는 터널스캐너 성능검증 방법론은 1차 평가와 2차 평가로 구성된다. 1차 평가지표는 최소요구성능을 기준으로 구성되고, 2차 평가지표는 터널스캐너의 품질에 관여된 지표들로 구성된다. 결론: 본 연구에서 제시한 터널스캐너의 성능검증 방법론은 장비 사용자에게 공인된 성능 카탈로그를 제공할 수 있으며, 장비 개발자는 장비의 공인된 검증을 받을 수 있어 부실한 유지관리를 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
