A Study on Factors Affecting Vender's Continuous Use Intention in O2O Delivery App Platform Service (O2O 배달 앱 플랫폼 서비스에서 공급 업체의 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, delivery app services based on the O2O platform are increasing rapidly. Accordingly, various studies on O2O service have been conducted. Most of the studies are on consumer behavior in O2O services, and few studies on platform vendors have been conducted. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the factors affecting the vender's intention to continuous use in the O2O delivery app platform service. Based on prior researches, we set the quality characteristics and network characteristics of the O2O platform as independent variables. The quality characteristics of the O2O platform consisted of system quality, information quality, and service quality, and the O2O platform network characteristics consisted of network externality and platform reputation. Perceived value and switching cost were set as mediated variables, and vender's intention to continuous use was set as dependent variables. For empirical analysis, we conducted a survey targeting vendors of O2O delivery app platform service, and conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the quality characteristics of the O2O platform, such as system quality, information quality, service quality, and O2O platform network characteristics, showed that network externality and platform reputation had a positive effect on perceived value. The perceived value was found to have a positive effect on the switching cost and the intention to continuous use, and the switching cost was found to mediate the perceived value and the intention to continuous use. This study can contribute to the establishment of platform operation strategy as an empirical analysis on the factors that influence the intention of O2O platform vendors to use the platform continuously.

  • Recently, the korea power quality standard has been established based on the IEC Std. By IEC Std., the power quality assessment point is measured in PCC. In this case, the utility has to construct PQM system in all customer PCC point and the PQ meter cost would be very high in order to acquire the suitable data. Accordingly the utilities could not apply to PQM system in the distribution power system by the cost and communication problem.   • Background : In order to cope with changes in the management environment at hospitals, increased interests are drawn in patient foodservice system on Continuous Quality Improvement Activity as the method of approaching a quality food service and effective management. Thus, as a part of this activity, this study was conducted to evaluate job flow improvement that was already performed and the results of that process at the dietetic department of a university hospital, focusing on improving management. Method : On February 15 of 1998. the dietetic department formed a job flow-improvement to decide on the priority of job flow improvement, and prepared specific action strategies and schedule of the priority: after a 5 month process period, job improvement achieved on June 15. 1998. Also, economic achievement of the task was evaluated through labor productivity analysis and cost-benefit analysis. Results : The patient food service system which was managed decentralized at the present hospital was centralized, some steps of the food service process were integrated, and quality of patient food was improved. Also, as a solution of the problems expected when conducting job flow improvement was made on food service equipments and utensils. The result of evaluating the job flow improvement that labor productivity improved by 18.2% compared to before the improvement and the result of the analysis of cost-benefit showed that Benefit-Cost (B/C) ratio was 2.22. showing financial merit on the investment. Conclusions : Continuous Quality Improvement Activity needs to be initiated and conducted in the future in various areas of hospital foodservice system in order to actively adopt to ever changing hospital management environment. In order to achieve this goal, many researches and more efforts need to be put in by people in charge of hospital food service management, and interests and support are needed from hospital policy makers.

  • The relationship between the subcontractor and the subcontractor in current industries, especially in the machine manufacturing industry, should be developed to the "Efficient Q-C-D System" in which the three elements of consideration-Quality, Cost and Delivery condition, are in a state of equillibrium. From this point of view the two parts of a subcontract must cooperate in the whole activity: ranging from the initial products planning, through the manufacturing process, to the final usage by customers. In this report, we tried to present Korean machine manufacturing industry with the model of management system of subcontracts in order that machine manufacturers may assure the quality, reduce the production cost and enhance the productivity with the model.

Comparative Analysis on the Characteristics of High Cost Medical Users between the Health Insurance and Medical Assistance Program (고액진료비 환자의 특성 비교분석 - 의료보험과 의료보호환자를 중심으로 -)

  • Background : A small number of high cost patients usually spend a larger proportion of scarce health resources. Aged, long-term care and readmitted patients usually belong to these high cost patient group. Among others, long length of stay and readmission can be reduced by checking its cause, and these are the areas needed most of quality improvement activity. Characteristics of high cost medical users between health insurance program and medical assistance program were reviewed. Methods : The inpatient claims of health insurance and medical assistance program were analyzed. Patients were divided by 6 groups; long-term, mid-term, short-term, readmitted, cancer and aged. We defined high cost patients as those who had spent one and half million won and over per 6 months. Characteristics of high cost patients for each group were reviewed. Results : medical assistance patients used much more resources than the insured members in the average hospital cost per case but less in daily hospital cost. The former had a longer length of stay and had much heavier diseases. Major diseases of both group were cancer, diseases of circulatory system and chronic degenerative diseases. Gallstone and schizophrenia were more in the insured program. However, pulmonary tuberculosis, asthma were more common among the medical assistance patients. Early readmission before 2 weeks were 28-30% of the total readmission. Readmission rate in the malignat neoplasm and renal failure were 80% and more. Q.A program should be installed to prevent unnecessary readmissions. Conclusion : Almost 30% of early readmissions and admissions due to complications and long length of stay should be reviewed carefully to keep cost down and to enhance the quality of hospital care.

Preventive Replacement Policy with the Number of General Repairs (일반수리회수에 의한 장비 교환 정책)

  • This paper presents a model for determining the optimal number of general repairs and supplementary input cost limit rate in addition to minimal repair cost rate to implement preventive maintenance. The basic concept parallels the periodic replacement model with minimal repair at failure introduced by Barlow and Hunter(1960) and Park(1979), only difference being the replacement signalled by the number of previous general repairs performed on the system. A general repair brings the state of the system to a certain better state than before repaired. Numerical examples are provided.

  • Inspection policies deal with stochastically failing systems in which failures cannot be detected without inspection. In this paper, we considered an effective inspection policy to detect system failure under imperfect inspection. Approximate total expected cost is derived and a simple algorithm to determine inspection schedule is Presented. Numerical examples showed that the inspection policy is easily applicable and cost effective.

  • A one-upper warehouse n-lower retailer inventory model is discussed. The probability distribution of demand for a given perod is independent. The inventory holding cost is proportional to the number of unsold units and the cost of shortages is proportional to the number of shortages. In the event of a shortage, units are redistributed with a cost proportional to the number of units from the retailers which are a surplus at the end of the period. The optimum stock levels are obtained and the effects of redistribution are analized.

  • In this paper, we consider a periodic preventive maintenance(PM) policy in which each PM reduces the hazard rate but remains the pattern of hazard rate unchanged. And the system undergoes only minimal repairs at failures between PM's. The expected cost rate per unit time is obtained. The optimal number N of PM and the optimal period x, which minimize the expected cost rate per unit time are discussed. Explicit solutions for the optimal periodic PM are given for the Weibull distribution case.

  • This paper considers a repairable system, which is maintained preventively at periodic times and is minimally repaired at each failure. Most preventive maintenance policies for such repairable systems assume that the cost of minimal repair is constant regardless of its age at failure. However, it is more practical to consider the situations where the cost of minimal repair is dependent not only on its age at failue, but also on the number of preventive maintenance carried out prior to its failure. We consider the preventive maintenance carried out prior to its failure. We consider the preventive maintenance policy with age-dependent minimal repair cost. The optimal policies which minimize the expected cost rate over an infinite time span are discussed. We obtain the optimal period and number of preventive maintenance prior to replacement of the system.
