  • Japan is leading standards for the hydrogen fuel quality on the PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) vehicle at ISO/TC197/WG12. However, it has many problems to solve the standard of measurement and the test method. because the standard of measurement which was proposed in Japan is too high to reach the technique for many countries. it might not control standards for the hydrogen fuel quality on the PEMFC vehicle in Korea. So we need to develop the study of standards and the technique of measurement continuously for the International Standards Meeting.

  • Many domestic studies related to service quality are performed but the study on computing Service Quality Score is not yet activated. Because Service quality measurement plays an important role in assessing service performance and diagnosing service problems, it is very important that service quality is measured exactly. Therefore this study offered realistic approach method for computing Service Quality Score by using T.L. Saaty's Analytic Hierarchy Process technique. That is, Service Quality Score of this study is computed by using customer's priority(weights) for five dimensions(Tangible, Reliability, Assurance, Responsiveness, Empathy). This method is more realistic than the existing method computed by an arithmetical average of dimension's variables.

  • The domestic label fuel economy measurement method is the same as the North American measurement method. The results of two test modes (city [FTP-75 mode], highway [HWFET mode]) are calculated to be equivalent to the final fuel economy value calculated as the result of five test modes reflecting various environmental conditions and driving patterns 5-cycle correction formula is used. In this study, we tried to find out that the difference between the domestic label fuel economy of the vehicle and the real road fuel economy felt by the driver compared to the new vehicle condition as the mileage increases. Using domestic label fuel economy measurement method, Four gasoline vehicles and four diesel vehicles were tested for the fuel economy of a new vehicle with a mileage of 150 km or less and domestic fuel economy test $6,500{\pm}1,000km$ durability condition and 15,000 km durability. It is confirmed that the certain portion (6,500 km endurance vehicle) The increase in mileage did not affect the fuel economy or the emission gas significantly, indicating that vehicle durability was limited.

  • Measuring the end-to-end available bandwidth in the Internet is a useful tool for distributedapplication services or QoS (Quality-of-Service) guarantee. To measure the end-to-end available bandwidth, Single-hop Gap model-based packet train measurement techniques are well-known. However, the error of packet train output gap can happen by network topologies. This error of the output gap causes the inaccuracy of the available bandwidth measurement. In this paper, we propose a new end-to-end available bandwidth measurement technique with accurate capacity measurement and fast convergence methods. To solve the erroneous capacity measurement problem of the back-to-back packet train transmission, we propose a new available bandwidth measurement method by decoupling the capacity measurement with the initial gap of the packet train. Also, we propose a new technique to predict the proper initial gap of the packet train for faster convergence. We evaluate our proposed method by the simulation in various topologies comparing with previous methods.

  • This study proposes a method to measure software reliability according to software reliability measurement model to measure software reliability. The model presented in this study uses the distribution of Non - Homogeneous Poisson Process and presents a measure of the software reliability of the presented model. As a method to select a suitable software reliability growth model according to the presented model, we have studied a method of proposing an appropriate software reliability function by calculating the mean square error according to the estimated value of the reliability function according to the software failure data. In this study, we propose a reliability function to measure the software quality and suggest a method to select the software reliability function from the viewpoint of minimizing the error of the estimation value by applying the failure data.

A Study on Liquified Petroleum Gas(LPG) Fuel Quantitative Method using Coriolis Mass Flowmeter (코리올리 질량유량계를 이용한 액화석유가스(LPG) 정량 측정 방법 연구)

  • Domestic LPG meters are being tested for LPG quantification in accordance with the "Measures Act". The LPG meter is re-tested every three years in accordance with the "Enforcement Decree of the Measures Act". The maximum permissible error within the test is within ${\pm}1.0%$, and the tolerance is within ${\pm}1.5%$. For the quantitative measurement of LPG, a hydrometer for LPG, a balance, and a pressure vessel are used. The volume of LPG varies in depending on the temperature and pressure. The current quantitative measurement method of LPG requires the measurement of temperature, pressure and density in order to determine the volume of LPG, respectively, and some equipments are needed accordingly. Coriolis mass flowmeter, on the other hand, measure the mass flow, density and temperature at the same time, and can be converted and calculated to the required values using a computer program, also it is widely applied in the industrial field. In this study, the volume of LPG was measured using a Coriolis mass flowmeter as a basic study of LPG quantitative measurement. In addition, it is shown that it is possible to apply for the LPG quantitative measurement using the Coriolis mass flowmeter by comparing it with the conventional LPG quantitative measurement method.

A Certification Method for the Quality of Package Software (패키지 소프트웨어를 위한 품질인증 방법의 설계에 관한 연구)

  • The certification of software products can provide a greater level of acceptance and feeling of security to customers of these products. This paper presents a certification method for the quality of package software. First of all, the evaluation criteria are derived from ISO/IEC 9126 and 12119 standards, and then the evaluation module are designed considering the measurement scale type. The results can be applied to construct the certification scheme of software product quality for the commercial purpose.

  • GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) Ground Station performs GNSS signal acquisition and processing. This system generates error correction information and distributes them to GNSS users. GNSS Ground Station consists of sensor station which contains receiver and meteorological sensor, monitoring and control subsystem which monitors and controls sensor station, control center which generates error correction information, and uplink station which transmits correction information to navigation satellites. Monitoring and control subsystem acquires and processes navigation data from sensor station. The processed data is transmitted to GNSS control center. Monitoring and control subsystem consists of data acquisition module, data formatting and archiving module, data error correction module, navigation determination module, independent quality monitoring module, and system maintenance and management module. The independent quality monitoring module inspects navigation signal, data, and measurement. This paper introduces independent quality monitoring and performs the analysis using measurement data.

  • The unit quantity is an important factor influencing the durability, workability, and quality of concrete. Methods for measuring the unit quantity include a high frequency heating method, a unit volume mass method, a capacitance method, and a microwave method. However, these methods have disadvantages of poor measurement method, time required, and accuracy, and a relatively experimental method compensating for these disadvantages was used to measure the unit quantity using a high frequency main sensor (FDR) capable of simple and fast measurement. In addition, the unit quantity was evaluated by analyzing the measurement data through deep learning.

  • Measurement is used for evaluation of product or process exactly. If it couldn't measured correctly, Quality-cost must be raised and it would be hard to improve product quality. So, this study suggests improvement guide line for the multilateral problems of measuring instrument operation based on the investigation of 157 small and medium-sized enterprises in February, 2008. To use inspection gig correctly, man who treat it must be accustomed with the structure, the performance, the method. The inspection gig is selected properly for the measurement goal. If not, results couldn't be correctly or wasted time, efforts, and costs. When selecting a inspection gig, the locating, the clamping, and the efficiency must be considered.
