기혼 취업여성과 남성의 가족 및 직업 스트레스와 심리적 복지 (Family Stress, Work Stress and Psychological Well-being in Employed Men and Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of family stress on work stress and to examine the effects of family and work stress on psychological wellbeing in employed men and women. The analyses of the present study were based on a sample of 263 full-time employed men and 258 full-time employed women aged 30-49 in dual-earner families. There were significant gender differences in marital stress, parenting stress and psychological well-being with women reporting higher levels of stress. However, employed men and women experienced similar levels of work stress. The results from regression analyses showed that stress in the family domain contributed significantly to work stress. Both marital stress and parenting stress were significantly related to higher levels of work stress fro employed men and women. The findings of this study indicated that higher levels of marital stress and work stress were predictive of psychological well-being for men and women in dual-earner couples. Among employed women, marital stress and work stress were more highly related to psychological well-being than among employed men.

인지폐합수요(认知闭合需要), 심리건강화사회인소대충동구매적영향(心理健康和社会因素对冲动购买的影响) (The Impacts of Need for Cognitive Closure, Psychological Wellbeing, and Social Factors on Impulse Purchasing)

의과대학생의 성격유형과 전공 및 대학생활 만족도 (Personality types of medical students and their satisfaction with major and student life)

  • Objective: The goal of this study was to investigate personality preferences of medical students and to examine the relationship between personality profiles and their satisfaction with major and student life. Methods : The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), which measures personality preferences, was administered by medical students (n = 94) who began to qualify from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2007. The resulting personality profiles of the medical students were correlated with scores of the satisfaction with major and student life Results: First, there were more preference types of Introversion(61.71%), Sensing(67.66%), Thinking(73.41%) and Judging(61.71%) than Extraversion (38.29%), Intuition (22.34%), Feeling (26.59%) and Perception(38.29%), Most medical students are personality type ISTJ(24.21%), followed by ESTJ(17.02%), Second, students with the preference for Extraversion and Intuition were more satisfied with their major and student life. Third, the preference for Judging showed higher scores in the satisfaction with major. Conclusions: This study might give implications for the psychological wellbeing and successful studying of medical students.

Effects on Consumers' Behavior through Psychological Brand Community of Well-Being Consumers

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that enhance brand identity among the four relationship factors in the well-being industry: brand relationships, product relationships, employee relationships, and other customer relationships, and to examine the impact between consumers' brand identity and committed behaviors performed by consumers of brand equality, promotion, cooperation, and advocacy. Research design, data and methodology: The models designed in this study were proposed based on prior studies and the survey was conducted on well-being consumers for empirical testing of the models. Valid samples of a total of 350 data collected were analyzed using the SAS 9.4 statistical package programs, and the results for the structural equation model analysis are as follows. Results: First, the three relationships in the brand community have all been shown to improve brand identity, but the product relationship has had a negative significant effect. Second, consumers' brand identity has had a strong effect of promoting both committed behavior, cooperation and advocacy. Conclusions: Based on these analysis results, the theoretical implications of the well-being industry were presented, and effective practical implications were presented to the well-being operators and the community operators of well-being brands.

임부의 사회심리적 적응과 분만경험 지각에 대한 연구 (Psychological Adaptation in Pregnancy and Perception of Birth Experience)

  • The purposes of study were to investigate the prenatal psychological adaptation and the perception of birth experience, and to identify the relationship between them. The subjects consisted of 162 women who visited the obstetrical outpatient clinic for prenatal examinations and who delivered the in babies at SNUH during the period from June 20 to August 10, 1990. The tools used for measurement were Lederman's Prenatal Self Evaluation Questionnaire and Marut & Mercer's scale of the Perception of Birth. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The orders and item means of psychosocial adaptation in pregnancy were the Acceptance of pregnancy(1.58). Identification of motherhood role(1.63). Relationship with husband(1.65) and Relationship with mother(1.67). The preparation for labor, concern for wellbeing of self and baby, and fear of pain, helplessness and loss of control were found to be less adaptive. 2. The level of the perception of the birth experience was mid-range(item mean : 3.22). The score of the perception of birth experience for primiparas was higher than for multiparas. However there was not a significant difference the groups. There were significant differences in the perception of the birth experience between certain general characteristics, namely, sex of the baby(p<0.05), type of delivery(p<0.005), and type of anesthesia(p<0.005). 3. There were significant differences in the perception of the birth experience between the groups below the mean and above the mean of concerti for wellbeing of self and baby, Fear of pain, Helplessness and loss of control, Relationship with husband and Identification of motherhood role (p<0.05). The perception of the birth experience was predicted by Fear of pain, Helplessness and loss of control (11%), Type of Delivery(6%), Concern for wellbeing of self and baby(3%), Preparation for labor(1%), sex of baby(1%), Relationship with mother(1%), Parity(1%) and Identification of motherhood role(1%). The Childbirth education should be revised to improve the psychosocial adaptation in pregnancy.

아동의 성 및 기질, 남편의 양육지지와 어머니의 심리적 복지감이 걸음마기 아동에 대한 어머니의 양육태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Child Gender and Temperament, Husbands' Support, and Mothers'Psychological Well-Being on Maternal Parenting Behaviors toward oddlers)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of child gender and temperament, husbands’ support, and mothers’ psychological well-being on maternal parenting behaviors toward toddlers. Mothers of 214 toddlers responded to questionnaires on the following variables: child temperament, husbands’ support, psychological wellbeing and parenting behaviors. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that: 1) Children being negative emotionality linked with mothers’ high controlling and rejective parenting behaviors and low responsive parenting behaviors directly and indirectly via mothers’ psychological well-being; 2) Husbands’ support was linked with mothers’ low controlling and rejective behaviors through mothers’ high psychological well-being; 3) Mothers’ low psychological well-being was linked to high mothers’ controlling and rejective parenting. The results of this study underscore mothers’ psychological well-being and husbands’ parenting support in predicting mothers’positive parenting.

초등학생의 여가참여유형이 여가만족도와 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Different Types of Leisure Activities' on the Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being of Primary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of different types of leisure activities' on the satisfaction and psychological well-being of primary school students. The subjects of this study consisted of 467(boys=191, girls=276) primary school students. The data was analyzed by one way ANOVA, factor analysis, Chi-square analysis, correlation analysis and multi-regression analysis. The main findings of this were as follows: first, there were statistically significant differences in the kinds of activities participated in according to gender. Second, among of the subscale of leisure satisfaction, boys showed higher scores in more education and physical satisfaction than girls, and in the subscale of psychological well-being, boys indicated a higher score in flow and happiness than girls. Third, there were significant differences in leisure satisfaction and psychological well-being in the types of leisure activity. Fourth, the participation motivation of leisure activity statistically influenced psychological well-being. Fifth, leisure satisfaction partially influenced on psychological well-being. Social and environmental satisfaction significantly influenced flow. Education and social satisfaction significantly influenced happiness and psychological well-being.

다문화정책의 시사점 도출을 위한 다문화가정아동의 능력지각과 자율성에 관한 실증적 분석 (Multicultural Policy Implications Derived for the Multicultural Children's Cognitive Abilities and Autonomy about an Empirical Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 다문화가정 아동의 능력지각이 자율성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 다문화정책의 시사점 도출을 위해 SPSS 19.0과 AMOS 19.0을 이용하여 실증적 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 A광역시와 Y시 지역에 위치한 초등학교 고학년을 대상으로 자율성에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가정아동의 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각은 심리적 안녕감에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가정아동의 심리적 안녕감이 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 셋째, 다문화가정 아동의 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각이 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 실증적 분석을 수행하여 도출한 분석결과를 요약하면 독립변수인 사회적 능력지각과 개인적 능력지각이 심리적 안녕감에 영향을 미치고 또한 종속변수인 자율성에 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타난 결과 이러한 인과관계를 통해 다문화가정 아동의 능력지각에 의미 있는 사실을 발견하였다.

코로나 팬데믹 초기 한국인의 스트레스 대처 양상에 따른 잠재계층 분류와 영향요인 검증 (A Latent Profile Analysis of Stress Coping Strategies among Korean Adults at the Early Stage of the Coronavirus Pandemic(COVID-19) and Verification of Influencing Factors)

  • 본 연구는 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 코로나 팬데믹 초기 한국인의 스트레스-대처 양상을 확인하고, 잠재계층구분에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 인구사회학적 정보(성별, 연령, 가구형태, 경제수준), 코로나로 인한 비일상성(코로나로 인한 두려움, 코로나로 인한 스트레스, 외출 및 일정제약, 코로나로 인한 수입 감소)을 살펴보고, 잠재계층에 따른 심리적 안녕감(삶의 만족감, 우울, 불안)의 차이를 확인하였다. 본 연구는 세계보건기구(WHO)가 코로나 팬데믹을 선언하고, 국내에서 대구·경북지역이 특별재난지역으로 선정된 시기인 2020년 4월 13일 부터~21일까지 성인 600명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시했다. 대처 양상에 따라 모형을 분류한 결과, 4계층('낮은 대처관여 집단 1', '보통 수준의 적응적 대처집단 2', '높은 수준의 적응적 대처집단 3', '적응-부적응 대처 관여집단 4')의 모형적합도가 가장 양호하였다. 또한 인구사회학적 정보에서는 성별, 연령, 경제수준이 잠재계층을 유의하게 구분하였으며, 코로나로 인한 비일상성에서는 두려움, 스트레스, 외출 및 일정제약과 수입 감소가 잠재계층을 유의하게 구분하였다. 또한 잠재계층 간 심리적 안녕감 차이를 확인한 결과, '높은 수준의 적응적 대처집단 3'이 가장 높은 삶의 만족감을 경험하는 것으로 나타났으며, '적응-부적응 대처 관여집단 4'이 가장 높은 우울, 불안을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 논의 및 시사점이 제시되었다.

Quantitative Research: The Significant Effect of Psychological Empowerment on Retail Sales Employees

  • Purpose: This study aims to establish the effects of psychological empowerment on retail sales employees. It further investigates how psychological empowerment can be used to mitigate the factors that affect sales workers in addition to meeting the feelings and emotional wellbeing of sales workers to improve their productivity and the success of their organizations. Research design, data, and methodology: The current author conducted SPSS statistical analysis program to gauge the statistical association between two main constructs (Psychological Empowerment and Job performance) using 217 respondents. The main statistical tool was selected by a multiple regression methodology. Results: The statistical test from the analysis is presented in the finding section and shows that β values and P-values are greater than 0 and less than 0.05 respectively and thus, this research could reject null hypotheses which mention that psychological empowerment cannot be associated with job performance. Conclusions: All in all, this research could conclude that it will improve the attitudes of retail sales workers towards their job, making them self-committed to the tasks assigned through significant psychological empowerment factors. The retention of these workers would be enhanced because they would attain job satisfaction through a positive perception of the tasks assigned to them.
