Series Resonant Full Bridge Inverter for Battery-fed Microwave Oven (배터리 구동 전자레인지를 위한 직렬 공진형 풀브릿지 인버터)

  • In order to solve the problem of system efficiency reduced on account of two stage power conversion, we propose a series resonant full bridge inverter circuit for battery-fed microwave oven. This circuit has both a compact size and a light weight. Also, a frequency control adjusts power levels of the microwave oven. Operational principles are explained in detail. A proto-type inverter circuit with 1[kW] power consumption is built and tested for verifying the operation.

  • 초고용량의 커패시터는 신재생 에너지 이용의 증가와 더불어 이용 영역이 점차 넓어지고 있어 유망신규시장의 창출이 기대된다. 따라서, 슈퍼커패시터의 성능을 측정하여 시험할 수 있는 충방전 순환 시험기가 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 슈퍼커패시터의 기본 충/방전 특성을 기준으로, 충전과 방전시의 고속계측이 가능하도록 용량 및 내부저항 측정을 위한 회로와 전압유지특성을 측정하기 위한 회로를 설계하였다. 5V, 100A Proto-type의 충방전 시험 시스템 구축으로 특성 평가결과, 전압 및 전류 측정 정밀도 ${\pm}$ 0.1%이내로 확인하였고, 데이터 모니터링 및 로깅을 위한 프로그램을 제작하였다. 또한 전체시스템 구성과 실험결과를 통해, 본 연구에서 개발하고자 하는 슈퍼커패시터용 충방전 시험 시스템이 실제 응용 가능함을 확인하였다.

An Engine Structure-Borne Noise Analysis by Finite Element Method (유한요소법에 의한엔진 구조소음 해석)

  • This paper presents the static analysis, the modal analysis and the forced vibration analysis on engine structures to find out the structure-borne noise sources by finite element method. The deformation of engine structures under the maximum combu- stion gas force was calculated through the static analysis, and the resonance possibilities were predicted by the modal analysis which ascertains mode shapes and the corresponding frequencies of engine global and its major noise sources in engine surfaces were investigated with the forced vibration analysis by means of finding the transfer mobilities on engine surfaces due to the piston impact and the velocity levels due to the combustion in consideration of oil film stiffness and damping coefficients. Finally, the direction of engine structure-borne noise reduction can be estabilished by the above-mentioned analysis procedure and the reduction effect of cost on proto-type engine build-up is expected.

  • HVDC용 AC/DC 컨버터들은 본질적으로 무효전력을 발생한다. 본 연구에서는, 수전단 전압의 비정현성에 의한 점호실패에 강인하여, 최소 점호각 제한을 적게 할 수 있고, 동일 출력 DC전압 조건하에서 무효전력 발생을 적게 할 수 있는, 보조 컨버터를 사용한 새로운 HVDC용 AC/DC컨버터의 구조를 제안한다. 또한 제안된 HVDC용 AC/DC 컨버터를 Proto-type으로 제작 및 실험을 행하여, 제안된 방식의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • The pantograph for Korean High Speed Train was developed and had been evaluating by through 'G7-R&D project' for home grown high speed train technology. In this paper, from the point of view in mechanical aspect, comparison study on the current collection characteristics between the KHST pantograph and contact wire in catenary system on the High-Speed Line and Ho-Nam/Kyoung-Bu conventional lines is conducted. A measuring system for the performance and mechanical characteristics of the KHST pantograph is used for this study, which was developed and installed on the Proto-type Korean High Speed Train, and physical characteristics were measured while the KHST runs on the High-Speed Line and conventional lines. Through this study, remarkable variations of characteristics which can affect to a current collection quality of high-speed train are found and analyzed from measured mean contact forces in both tracks.

  • In this thesis, we presents the component design and retrieval prototype system which can retrieve the most appropriate component for reuse system. If it used only an abject to reuse unit, it can not understand mutual reaction and can not sustain relationship between objects. Therefore, we porposed clustering component for reuse unit. It makes to understand relationship and reaction between object, so User can retrieve the proper component for reuse system. And porposed retrieval prototype system can select the correct things. it provide 3 facet retrieval environment against ambiguous retrieval definition.

  • Among the various solar-hydrogen production techniques a combination of a photovoltaic (PV) and an electrolytic cell into one single system, a monolithic PV-electrolytic cell, has been suggested as a promising one in terms of efficiency and stability. In this mini-review, we describe our recent efforts on the fabrication of the monolithic PV-electrolytic cell. Particularly, we focus on the electrocatalysts for water oxidation and its fabrication method suitable for a monolithic PV-electrolytic cell. We also introduce proto-type devices with a dye-sensitized solar cell module and an InGaP/GaAs photoelectrodes.

  • The recent problems such as the rapid increase o electricity consumption, the large variation of electrical loads, and the sitting difficulty for new power plants could become a barrier to stable electrical power supply. Consequently, an electrical load management technology has become important, by which an electricity can be stored during off-peak time and efficiently used during peak time. The technology provides a variety of direct or indirect benefits which include, for utilities, reduction of new power plants, economical electricity production, and improved efficiency and reliability of power system and for consumers, low prices o electricity. The study is to develop a proto-type load management system and its application technology for a peak shaving. In the system, conventional batteries are used as energy storage device.

  • In recent years, Levitated transportation systems have been studied in many countries, Most vehicles used for these systems are driven by linear motors and are levitated magnetically. The magnetic train HDMAG-01 is a proto-type vehicle for low-speed in the range of 100cm/S. This paper presents an outline of the drawing, the testing and its results, describes theoretical models used and compares between computer simulation and test result.

  • This paper present a method to predict fatigue life of a construction equipment performing static stress analysis and dynamic stress analysis using the computer simulation for proto and pilot type model. The parameter of design variable is used for finite elemt modeling of a excavator. Desinger can design reliable product and shorten lead time by using "Simulation System for Front Attachment of Excavator" develped in this study.his study.
