Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was to investigate the knowledge of radiation protection and the recognition and performance of radiation protection behaviors among perioperative nurses. This study was intended to yield basic data for the development of nursing interventions aimed at improving the nurses' radiation protection behaviors. Methods: One hundred and thirty-seven nurses working in the operating room participated in a survey from September 1 to 30, 2011. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation with the SPSS/WIN 19.0 program. Results: The average score of radiation protection knowledge was $7.57{\pm}3.45$ out of 16. The average score for the recognition and performance of radiation protection behaviors was $4.32{\pm}0.23$. The knowledge of radiation protection was significantly correlated with the recognition and performance of radiation protection behaviors. Conclusion: Expanding the knowledge of radiation protection could lead to the increase of the recognition and performance of radiation protection behaviors. Therefore, promoting the performance of radiation protection behaviors by improving perioperative nurses' knowledge of radiation protection through reinforcing radiation-related education hereafter could be an important part of nursing.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ethical values of paramedics and their awareness and practice of medical information protection protocols. Methods: A survey was conducted involving 300 university students majoring in a four-year paramedical education program at two universities in Daejeon and Chungnam. Ultimately 220 surverys were subjected to analysis. Results: There was a significant difference in students' perception of medical information protection according to the need for education on medical information protection protocol (p=0.022); however, there were no significant differences in the practice of these protocols. The idealism tendency was positively correlated with the awareness of medical information protection (r=.332, p=.000) and the practice of medical information protection (r=.309, p=.001). A tendency toward relativism was significantly associated with the awareness of medical information protection (r=.138, p=.040) and not significantly related to the practice of medical information protection protocols. The tendency toward idealism tended to have a significant positive effect on the awareness of medical information protection protocols (β=.318, t=4.777, p=.000) and the degree of practice (B=.369, t=3.456, p=.001). Conclusion: Appropriate educational programs for medical information protection are needed. These programs should adhere to the characteristics of the department by linking with the training institution.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to grasp the factors influencing domestic SNS users' privacy protection behavior and verify their relationship through self-efficacy and responsiveness. Thus, this study tries to suggest efficient and effective measures for SNS personal information protection. Design/methodology/approach To this end, with main variables of the protection motivation theory based on the assumption that when users are exposed to the threat to their health, they would have protection motivation and change their behavior of protecting their health, a research model was suggested. In addition, in order to empirically verify the research model, a survey was performed targeting general college students having the experience of using SNS. Findings As a result of the analysis, first, perceived effectiveness and self-efficacy had a positive effect on responsiveness. Second, perceived barrier had a positive effect on self-efficacy. Third, self-efficacy and responsiveness had a positive effect on privacy protection behavior. This study is expected to contribute to establishing an effective guideline for measures that could induce SNS users' privacy protection behavior.

The corrosion protection methods of reinforcing steel in concrete are the various methods such as increasing thickness of cover concrete, using of reinforcing bars coated with epoxy, dosage of corrosion inhibitor as concrete admixture, cathodic protection method and etc. The most economical method of them will be the corrosion protection method using corrosion inhibitor as concrete admixture. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the performance of corrosion protection of ordinary strength and high strength concrete using corrosion inhibitor, respectively. For this purpose, after manufacturing ordinary strength and high strength concrete with and without corrosion inhibitor, the accelerated corrosion tests for reinforcing steel were conducted according to the periodic cycles (140 day) of wetting ($65^{\circ}C$, 90% R.H.) and drying period ($15^{\circ}C$, 65% R.H.). As a result, th high strength concrete using corrosion inhibitor showed an excellent performance of corrosion protection.

This is to study intellectual property(IP) protection of contents which is related with transactions upon internet network. Issues of electronic transaction and infringement cases were studied and analyzed for intellectual property protection. Upon those study, utilization and activation of contents, dispute settlement and method of IP protection were suggested. To achieve this study purpose, it consists of 5 chapters. In chapter 1 introduction, it's mentioned purpose, scope, and method of this study. In chapter 2, outline of contents and e-Commerce, and subject of IP protection upon internet were studied. In chapter 3, issues and dispute factors of IP were discussed and infringement cases were analyzed. It found out that infringements would be variety and complex due to technology rapidly changes. In chapter 4, IP protection plan and responsibility of webmaster were studied and emphasized to protect IP upon Internet. Also, protection against infringement and method of dispute resolution were studied and suggested the method. In this study, the protection plan was suggested because IP protection of contents in internet would be many cases upon internet technology. It found out that technology was important for business expansion of contents, e-Commerce and IP protection, and to enact a law related with IP. In chapter 5 conclusion, this study was summarized and further research was suggested. This study results are 1. IP related laws had better enact or revise to meet internet technology changes for IP protection timely, 2. local laws are to change and develop to harmony with international norm and trends, 3. consolidation of IP related laws for unification of IP statement should be incurred to avoid unnecessary energy of legislation and not to create dispute matters. That's also for customer satisfaction. In conclusion, not to incur ADR and for IP protection of contents, IP related laws would be promptly made or revised, according to technology change trends and for international harmony, That's for internet related industry development and customer satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to present effective basic data for business management through analysis of importance and performance of personal information protection of the elderly welfare center workers. For this purpose, the questionnaire on the protection of personal information was reconstructed based on the diagnostic level of the personal information security management level of the public institution and the questionnaire was conducted on 105 employees of the elderly welfare center in Chungbuk area. Based on the responses to the importance and the degree of performance of the personal information protection of the elderly welfare center employees, technical statistics and corresponding sample T-tests were conducted and the importance-performance analysis (IPA) was used. Followings are the results of this study: First, there is a statistically significant difference between the importance and the implementation of the management system for the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center, establishment and implementation of protection measures, establishment and implementation of infringement measures. Second, IPA analysis on the protection of personal information of the workers in the elderly welfare center shows that the establishment and implementation of protection measures are the areas to maintain good performance. Third, in IPA analysis of the sub-factors of the personal information protection of the workers in the welfare center of the elderly, in the construction and management of the management system, in performing the role of the personal information protection officer and establishing and implementing protection measures, The factors of prevention of information disclosure and exposure and the safe use and management of personal information processing system were analyzed as areas requiring intensive improvement. This study is meaningful as a basic research that can raise the awareness of the personal information protection of the workers in the elderly welfare center and induce the improvement of the related work.

Purpose : UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight-polyethylene) is one of the most widely used material in knife protection clothes because of high strength, elasticity, and light weight. The purpose of this study is to develop the accelerated life test method and predict the lifetime for the knife protection fabric composed by UHMWPE. Methods : In this study, degradation characteristics of UHMWPE fibers and knife protection fabric for cut resistance were evaluated under the hydrolysis and photo-degradation conditions. It was found out that the degradation rate of retained tensile strength was more significant in the photo-degradation than hydrolysis. Therefore, the failure time was determined as the time that the retained tensile strength in photo-degradation is less than 50%. Considering an acceleration factor for irradiance and exposure time, the lifetime was predicted from the calculated failure time. Results : As a result of the accelerated life test, the $B_{10}$ lifetime of knife protection fabric composed by UHMWPE fibers is estimated as 2.8 years for a 90% statistical confidence level. Conclusion: Since the lifetime is predicted by the view-point of radiant exposure in this study, there is a possibility that the estimated lifetime may differ from the actual lifetime. However, it is considered as an useful methodology to estimate the long-term lifetime of knife protection fabrics.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the emergency-room nurse's perception and performance about the protection behavior of the consumer health information. Method: The participants were 191 emergency-room nurses in secondary, tertiary medical center nationally. The data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. Result: First, the total average scores of the degree of the perception and performance by emergencyroom nurses on protection behavior of the consumer health information were $4.24{\pm}0.30$ and $3.51{\pm}0.26$. Second, the degree of the perception and performance on protection behavior of the consumer health information was heavily dependent on the following general characteristics of the participants: age, nurse position, career, and education experience on protection behavior of the consumer health information. Third, there was a positive correlation between the degree of perception and performance about the protection behavior of the consumer health information. Conclusions: The results showed the statistically significant partial correlation between the degree of perception and performance. Therefore, it is suggested to apply the concrete education program to enhance the perception in order to improve the performance.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the status of maternity protection in the industries for the development of educational database used by occupational health nurses (OHNs). Method: 100 OHNs were purposively sampled and they were charged in the occupational health manager of their own industries. Data were collected by the postal mail, the response rate was 53.0%, and analysis rate was 43.0%. Result: The results were as follows; 1. Most of subjects responded there was the institutionalization of a special holiday for woman workers (97.7%) and 90 days maternity leave (95.4%). Otherwise, the numbers of industry were smaller in the case of providing the breast-feeding time, temporary rest from office for child raring, restriction of hazard job, night job, and over time. The application rates were lower than the rate of institutionalization of all maternity protection items. 2. There were significant differences in institutionalization of maternity protection by the activity of the trade union. And the numbers of the industry applying the maternity protection were significantly different by the area and the types of industry. 3. Most OHNs responded 17 subjects were needed to the maternity protection education for women workers. Conclusion: It would be needed to develop the maternity protection education database in base of the status of maternity protection in the industries and the need of maternity protection education. The role of OHNs for maternity protection was expected to activate.

But the technical basis and methods of measurement of the thermal response of sprinklers are not studying in our country. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the thermal response characteristics and condition parameters of automatic sprinkler head.
