  • As the demand for finding clearer information amid vast information acquisition increases, the enhancement of academic research services is highly important. In 2019, the Presidential Archives opened the only academic research services among the permanent archives management institutions. This study aims to identify the status of the insufficient use of academic research services implemented in the Presidential Archives, analyze problems and requirements through interviews with users who have used the Presidential Archives for academic purposes and conducted research, suggest a plan to upgrade the research services of the Presidential Archives, and offer a plan to improve the services of archives institutions accordingly. Researchers mostly sought information through an online search, but the information gap was large depending on the background knowledge, and the research scope was reduced because of insufficient information. Moreover, problems occurred regarding search tools, records management, and records disclosure, and most users were unaware of the academic research services. Therefore, the advancement plans entailed reducing the information gap among researchers, improving the search tool functions, creating more detailed descriptions of records, resolving geographic constraints, promoting academic research services and developing content, nurturing subject-specialized archivists, and providing online chatting services.

  • The problems and needs of families in Hong Kong are becoming more complex. Traditional family structures and functions are rapidly eroding. Moreover, family problems are further exacerbated by a growing number of socio-economic issues including rising divorce rates and extra-marital affairs. continuous family reunion migration from Mainland China, emotional and financial cost of caring for the older people and the changing economy which has pushed more families into hardship. In effect, more and more families are becoming vulnerable to risk. Traditional family services in Hong Kong are varied in mode, operation and provision, often overlapping in service boundaries with other family-oriented programs. In many instances, family service centers are stretched far beyond their capacity. As a consequence, they become too reactive, remedial and casework dominated. The University of Hong Kong Consultant Team recommended that family service programs have to protect vulnerable families and strengthen family capacities to promote maximum independence. The direction of family services is summarized as: strengthening families; child-centered, family-focused and community-based. New integrative family service centers aim at attaining the principles of promoting accessibility to users with minimum physical, psychological and administrative barriers; early identification of needs and intervention before the further deterioration of problems; integration of services cutting across program boundaries, and partnership between service providers to achieve efficient and effective use of scarce resources. Under the new model, multi-skilled teams can respond more proactively to a wide range of social needs, rather than addressing needs in isolation. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the new model, the consultant team has been commissioned by the government to evaluate the performance of these two-year pilot projects. More importantly, a coherent and family-friendly social policy should be formulated to strengthen family capacity against family-related problems.

  • Recently, personal information leakage incidents with increased usage of mobile services are increasing. Personal information leakage incidents can have a significant impact on an individual's mobile banking services. Accordingly, we examine relationships among individual's psychological characteristics, intention and behavior regarding compliance in an individual's perception on personal information leakage incidents in mobile banking contexts. In this study, for explaining our research model and understanding with personal psychology and behavior in mobile banking contexts, we adopted two theories, theory of interpersonal behavior and stimulus-response theory. We collected the 55 data using online surveyor and then analyzed structural equation model in order to find causal relationships among research variables. The results of this study should be useful to the mobile banking services companies in promoting service users to follow the information privacy policies.

The survey was based on 32 policy projects that resulted from 12 strategies according to 4 policy objectives. Results: Analysis of 32 mental health projects were assessed regarding the possibility of technology development success, magnitude of the ripple effect, and necessity of a national response. It was observed that 3 policy projects relevant to suicide, had a high relative priority. This was followed by policies for improvement of health insurance and the medical benefit cost system, and policies for reinforcement of crisis psychological support such as those for disaster victims. • Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEA) is a decision-making process taking into account the environmental impact, economic and social impact of policies, plans, and programs at the higher stage prior to the project plan for promoting sustainable development. In this study, we analyzed the process and criteria for selecting appropriate alternatives when establishing development plan in SEA. First, the criteria for estimating changes in ecosystem services following the implementation of development project of industrial complex were presented. Second, alternative evaluations were conducted through an analysis of ecosystem service scenarios to explore suitable alternatives in Anseong. As a result, the environmental quality of selected area as the existing project site deteriorated according to the implementation of the project, and the dimensional reduction technique confirmed that the change in ecosystem service factors in project area was the optimal location. In addition, the results of the scenario assessment to explore suitable alternatives in Anseong City showed that the existing site had large capacity in terms of water quality control services (scenario 1), scenario 2 in terms of preconditioning services, and scenario 3 in terms of water supply services. The guidance of Ecosystem service assessment is expected to be available in decision-making of large-scale strategies (e.g., SEA) and projects by presenting more quantitative criteria for determining the adequacy and location feasibility of development plans and policy plans. This is expected to require various support, including legislation and revision of related laws, believed to be supported by advanced research.

  • The survey was conducted by Chinese students who currently attend universities for the purpose of evaluating factors that determine the quality of educational services of universities in Korea. Three public universities and five private universities in Kyungsang province were surveyed for the purpose of this study with standardized questionnaires. The study raised questions on four different fronts: 1) Is there a difference in the importance of evaluation factors by Chinese student's on the quality of educational services between public universities and private ones? 2) Is there a difference in the degree of satisfaction felt by Chinese students who attend public universities or private ones? 3) Are there any significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services? 4) How different the relative influence of evaluation factors has on satisfaction with the quality of educational services for overall Korean university system? The results of this study showed that there was no statistical difference in signification in the importance of evaluation factors on the quality of educational services between public universities and private universities. Only the relationship factor in criteria four had an effect on satisfaction with quality of educational services between public and private universities. There were significant differences in the importance of evaluation factors and satisfaction with the quality of educational services. Chinese students determined that professor's lectureship as the most important factor, and is the ultimate deciding factor whether they attend a public or private university. It should be noted that studying and knowledge are primary concerns to them. Improvements in the quality of educational services in area of lectureship, physical education facilities, relationship, and administrative services are essential and crucially important for Korean universities in order to attract foreign students and to enhance their competitiveness in the global setting.

  • In connection with medical care, designs have been developed by forming relationships, typically supporting Visual Communication Design, Product Design and Environment Design healthcare environment aesthetically pleasing and convenient. However, in recent designs, expertise has increased, new areas specialized are merged with various areas and academic disciplines and subdivided. In addition, due to the development of technology, the design has been continuously changing, creating a new form of model by fusing with various industries, academics and services. Recognizing the changes and developments of these designs, we are promoting research on utilization of design in medical services, we can create a new value by getting out of design that we have limitedly used in areas of traditional design I will try to know about developing into a design.

  • Knowledge integration is becoming a primary function of improving organizational capabilities and performance in today's convergence paradigm. The knowledge integration capability of employees has increasingly been regarded as a critical source for developing new products and services. This study investigates the influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability and its effects. A theoretical research model was developed based on the socio-technical perspective and information processing theory. The model includes teamwork quality, expertise, IT support, and knowledge complexity as the primary influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability. A large-scale survey was conducted for gathering data (a total of 316 samples from 141 organizations) to test the proposed model. The test results of the hypotheses show that expertise and knowledge complexity are the significant influential factors of employees' knowledge integration capability, and also the capability has a positive effect on the knowledge creation performance of employees. Our findings contribute to the development of initiatives for promoting employees' knowledge integration capability, especially in knowledge intensive organizations focusing on convergence products and services.
