The purpose of this study is to develop indices and a scoring method for effectively evaluating the project of rural well-longevity villages which makes up for insufficient parts of existing projects on improving settlement foundation and production environment. Evaluating indices include qualitative factors originated from the characteristics of the project so a scoring method based on an information measure technique is used for evaluating the results from each village. Evaluating indices are provided differently depending on each purpose for evaluation. Result indices can be used for ranking project villages and fundamental indices can be used to analyze villages elaborately to improve project plans.

When performing a project, the most important thing is building a result with planned quality within development period. Particularly, if the project is delayed or has no good quality in the case of the mobile game development project which is sensitive to the release time and quality, it is immediately connected to the failure of the project. Extreme Programming is a methodology that divides the development cycle into smaller units for reducing the risk factor of the project in which the development period is important. In this paper, we suggest the Expanded Extreme Programming for mobile game development environment in which the development period and quality are important
The purpose of this study is to make a planning of Nosan Hasuk rural village development project based on rural amenity. The Nosan Hasuk rural village is located in Hyundo-Myun Cheongwon-Gun Chungcheongbuk-Do. For this study, investigate the amenity, make the bill of developing plan, and discuss the problems in rural integrated developing project. The developing plan is composed of basic planning, developing direction, village plans, and details projects. And, indicate the problems of rural integrated developing project those are the main body, standardization of investigated data, and insufficiency of detailed reference.

The AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry is facing a competitive world after it entered into the 21st century. Due to improper planning and scheduling, the construction projects face severe delays in completion. Most of the present day construction organisations operate in multiple project environments where more than one projects are to be managed simultaneously. But the advantages of planning and scheduling as multiple projects have not been utilized by these organisations. Change in multi-project planning and scheduling is inevitable and often frequent, therefore the traditional planning and scheduling approaches are no more feasible in scheduling multiple construction projects. The traditional scheduling tools like CPM and PERT do not offer any help in scheduling in a resource-constrained environment. This necessitated a detailed study to model the environment realistically and to make the allocation of limited resources flexible and efficient. This paper delineates about the proactive model which will help the project managers for scheduling the multiple construction projects.

Effective communication flow is a fundamental for the success of any construction projects. The key role of communications among project parties is even more critical in the case of Design-Build (DB) projects. Previous research has shown that these projects have an environment where integration between different project team members and schedule constraints increase channels of communication, and require faster communication flows. This paper summarizes the findings from research analyzing organizational structures and communication flow of the Texas State Highway 130 (SH130) project. Awarded in 2002, the SH130 project, totaling $1.3 billion USD, constitutes the "pilot" application for the DB approach in the state of Texas. A set of observations pertaining to team organization and communication issues in the design-build environment is included.

Construction project is necessary element for human life to upgrade the quality and convenience. However, due to its contradictory nature to the environment preservation, environmental pollution and damage, deterioration of natural scenery, noise/vibration, water quality pollution, etc. caused in the process of construction greatly affect the environment. For the building or construction project, its possible impact on environment during construction work and after completion must be predicted at its design phase, which will result in the completion of the architecture convenient for human being with its environmental pollution reduced to minimum level. In this study, the checklist of environmental factors was suggested, which should be taken into account at its design phase in conducting the construction work. Proposed checklist was linked with the developed web-based system for the convenience of users like designer and construction manager, etc. It is expected that the checklist suggested by this study will help the designer and construction manager to continue the steady development from the environmental viewpoint during the design phase.

Application of radio frequency Identification (RFID) technology in construction industry is not that progressive compared with other industries, because of it's high price experimental research. This research focus on potential application of RFID which eliminate manual data entry and introduce the potential for automated processes to increase project productivity, construction safety, and project cost efficiency. This paper suggest an invoiceless system using RFID technology, Process productivity and efficiency for material management is observed through WebCYCLONE and is compared with other processes.
The Sihwaho Project got off to a bad start, which led to a series of mishaps and an imbalance of the whole project. The purpose of this study is to select the case of Sihwaho as a research subject, clean up the contamination caused by the ill planned project, develop suitable measures to stabilize the lake environment, and find the implications of similar development projects. For this, the authorshave conducted three simulations after studying the structural reasons for the failure of the Sihwaho Policy by identifying cause and effect relationships, pre-testing a number of policy measures for the current lake project, and presenting measures for solving the contamination problem at the lake. The simulations have shown us that filling the lake with seawater is inadequate to solve the problem and that we also have to make efforts to reduce the volume of wastes to the lake as well. The authorshave also analyzed the degree of difference between the simulation and survey results for scenario 1, in which we have studied how much seawater can reduce the contamination of the Sihwaho Lake without the effort to reduce the volume of wastes into the lake. The survey showed that most citizens and employees of the Ministry of Environment did not think it would be serious as the simulation results pointed out, and the employees of the Ministry of Environment were more optimistic about the situation than the public.
Many companies have considered IT outsourcing as one of strategic alternatives in order to rapidly respond to changing business environment and strengthen their competitiveness. Despite its strategic role, however, IT outsourcing project has been plagued by a high failure rate and difficulty in realizing the promised project performance because of its inappropriate risk management. This study examines the effect of IT project management risk factors on project performance. We propose that project risk management factors(communication, technology sharing, and project control) influence project performance(process performance and product performance). Based on the empirical results, theoretical and practical implications of the study are discussed along with its limitations.

There is an increasing need for complex and large projects to be carried out quickly. As the duration, size, and cost of the project increase, concerns about project failure are also rising. Finding factors that hinder the performance of an effective project and eliminating them in advance or controlling and managing them more effectively can be a more direct way to secure the success of the project. Previous studies have identified compositional dimensions that are classified according to attributes, covering the various obstacles that affect the success of the project through existing literature. It is a follow-up to previous research. Using DEMATEL techniques, we would like to propose to explore the appropriate measures that an entity and organization can take by identifying the causality between factors through cross-impact analysis of project disabilities and even presenting factors that may arise when they are identified. As a result of the analysis, according to the indicators to evaluate the importance, 8 factors were found to be relatively important factors, excluding the factors that Failure of project feasibility analysis and Technical environment change. In addition, 5 factors were found to be causative factors; Technical environment change, Unclarity project plan, Strategic consistency error, Inaccuracy of requirement definition, and Failure of project feasibility analysis. In contrast, the remaining 5 factors were found to be the result factors; Lack of benefits realization, Negative attitude of top management, Stakeholder conflict, Difficulty of process management, and Disturbance of communication.
