Information Systems have played a strategic role in achieving business goal and become an essential tool in today's business environment. Thus, the number of developing SI project has increased and it becomes complex and sophisticated. It is known that project manager's leadership could lead the project success. In this study, project manager's competencies are divided into two types, information competency(information-oriented mind, information utilization competency, information development competency) and managerial competency(project management, human relationship, project expertise. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of information competency and managerial competency on the SI project success and to find out the moderating effect of project size. The result of this study reveals that information utilization competency, project management competency and human relationship have a strong relationship with both customers and suppliers side of projet success. Moreover, the relationship between managers' competencies and project success is shown to be different by project size. The result of this study implies that each managers' competencies has to be developed and applied according to project's complexity and size.

본 연구에서는 프로젝트의 계획단계에서 프로젝트 관리자가 수행해야 할 프로젝트에 대하여 규모, 범위, 기간, 성격 등의 측면에서 가장 유사한 과거의 사례를 찾아주고 이를 참조하여 WBS를 설계할 수 있도록 규칙과 사례기반 추론에 근거한 프로젝트 계획수립 지원모듈(PPSM: Project Planning Support Module)개발 방법을 제안한다.

Project Financing(PF) was introduced from the way of banks' conditional financing that take buried oil as security and offer required money to oil explores which have weak loaning ability in the U.S. 1930s. After that PF has developed with financial market and it has been activated in the market of Korea since 'An Institution about Private Financing Invitation Promotion' was established. Started with I-Hwa Ryoung tunnel project, PF has been used in the Metropolitan Area Airport Highway and etc. But because of the risk that occurred by PF's complexity and uncertainty, PF has not been used fully and there are only few practical examples. The purpose of the present study is to investigate how to decrease, identify and extract the risky factors of project that being planned by PF.

The goal of a project manager is generally to minimize the cost of the project and also to cope with uncertainty. This paper deals with the problem of project scheduling a set of activities satisfying precedence constraints in order to minimize the sum of the costs associated with the starting times of the activities in the network with imprecise activity durations, represented by means of interval or fuzzy numbers. So far this problem has been completely solved by several authors when the activities durations have crisp values. However, they do not consider the imprecision in activity durations in their models. Here the framework of possibility theory is proposed to solve this problem. In fuzzy arithmetic, usually, the interval calculations are used for the aim of complexity reduction and simplification. Thus the case of interval-valued durations is first addressed, and then extended to fuzzy intervals. A numerical example is used to illustrate the developed concept.

Due to the development of modern technology and the enlargement of industrial scale, the scale of many projects is expanding and the complexity is also increasing. Individual management of existing projects cannot effectively manage projects in this trend, and it is necessary to systematically manage the entire process from initiation to completion. Accordingly, the need for integrated management and life cycle management that can efficiently manage the entire project is emerging, and for this, a systematic project management system is also required. PMS enables efficient project management by linking business processes such as resource, schedule, scope, and output management of a project with separately separated infrastructure accordingly. In this paper, a research model was proposed to manage the project from the perspective of implementing integrated management and life cycle management, especially during R&D project execution, and to prove the mediating role between PMS and R&D project performance for this purpose. The proposed research model will be able to help companies and organizations that feel the need to implement integrated management and life cycle management and are preparing to build a PMS-type system or that have already been established to efficiently perform project management.

Recently, the importance of project management has increased due to the scale and complexity of the construction projects. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on construction companies and related public institutions to verify the relationship between the role of the Project Management Office(PMO) and PM leadership for project performance. Based on this, the effect of the PMO role on the project performance was identified and the moderating effect of PM leadership was analyzed. As a result, first, the role of the PMO was found to have an influential on the project performance. Second, the PM leadership was verified to has a moderating effect in the relationship between the PMO role and the project performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influential of the role of PMO on project performance in the construction industry to suggest the necessity of PMO in the construction industry and the need to adopt PMO in large-scale construction projects and analyze the moderating effect of PM leadership on project performance.

현대에 들어 IT 시장은 대형화와 복합화가 진행되고 경쟁이 더 심화되고 있기 때문에 전통적인 사업관리 방식으로는 관리하기 어려운 정보시스템구축 사업이 많아지면서 이를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 제도적 장치와 이를 지원하는 사업관리 프로세스를 도출하기 위하여 실무자(현장PM 및 사업참여자)를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 소프트웨어개발 사업관리 요소기술의 중요도와 취약도를 파악하여 개선해야 할 요소기술이 도출되었고, 이를 활용하여 사업관리의 필요성과 총괄사업관리자의 역할과 핵심 사업관리 분야를 결정하는데 논리적 근거를 제시하는 매우 유의미한 결과를 얻었다.

Under increased complexity and uncertainty of overseas construction projects, it is important for construction companies to improve their own project risk management capabilities instead of risk-taking strategies to secure competitiveness in the overseas construction market. Although most of the risks occur in project execution stage, many previous studies focused on planning stage including risk identification and analysis among PRM process. Therefore, this study aims to verify the effectiveness of whole PRM process during project execution stage through empirical study on participants of overseas construction projects. As the result it was found that first, the factor directly affects the project success is the execution process of PRM. It implies that appropriate actions such as appointing charged manager for risks, timely implementation of responding plan, continuous risk monitoring and updating established plan are the key for contribution to the project success. Second, the importance of communication in PRM is also found, which is not conducted at a specific but throughout the entire PRM process and need to be managed as essential factor for successful PRM..

Effective management of a project is a crucial issue to software companies. There are various international standards, such as CMM, ISO9000, and SPICE, applied to project management. But, small scale companies have some difficulties in accepting those standards because of its complexity and enormous manpower requirements. This study proposes a project management approach streamlining the CMM by which a small scale software company can perform the tasks with ease. A prototype system has also been developed to show the capability of the proposed model.

본 논문의 목적은 디지털 저작권에 기반기술로 이용될 수 있는 워터마킹 알고리즘 구성에 대한 소프트웨어 프로세스 심사에 있다. 소프트웨어 프로젝트에 수반되는 작업 프로세스들이나 관련된 작업 자원들은 서로 다른 복잡성을 갖는다. 경험 의존적인 방식은 소프트웨어 개발비용을 높이는 원인이 되며 개발된 소프트웨어의 품질도 보장 받기 어려워지다. 또한 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트의 규모에 따라 적합하게 적용하지 �方�, 소규모의 프로젝트도 소프트웨어 개발 방법론에 거론되는 전체 항목을 수행하려다 보면 많은 개발비용이 소요되어 방법론 적용에 문제가 될 수 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 소프트웨어 프로세스와 관련 지식들을 재활용하는 접근 방법들이 제시 되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 프로젝트의 환경과 특성 요인들을 분석하여 그들에 맞는 프로세스들을 선정하는 방법을 제시한다. 프로젝트 환경과 특성에 맞는 개발 경로 선정을 용이하게 하기 위하여 ISO/IEC 15271, ISO/IEC 12207 및 ISO/IEC 15504의 프로세스 내용에 준하여 영역 특성을 분류하여 프로젝트 개발 경로 선정 항목을 정하여 이를 본 논문에서의 적용범위로 한다.
