한국 전통복식 상의(上衣)류의 구조적인 특징을 활용한 셔츠디자인개발 - 패션문화상품을 중심으로 - (The Development of Shirt Design Utilizing the Structural Characteristics of Traditional Korean upper Garments - Focusing on Fashion Cultural Products -)

  • Korea's original traditional costume designs have a great potential to be re-imagined from a global perspective and developed into high-value-added fashion culture products that can enter the international market. This study applied the structural features of traditional clothing to the design of fashion cultural products. This study developed designs using Beja, Sagyusam, Aekjuem-po, Danlyeong, Cheolrik, Jang-jegori of Korea. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to conduct a literature survey of traditional Korean clothing. We designed shirts using Adobe Illustrator and created a pattern with the Yuka program. This design was applied to a three dimensional virtual dressing system called CLO. A survey of individual interest in developed fashion cultural products was also conducted. The shirt designs were obtained by applying the details and structural characteristics of traditional Korean clothing. Among the six shirt designs, when asked which design would be suitable for wearing, gifting, or uniform, the shirts with the design of Danlyeong, Beja, and Sagyusam were generally highly preferred. This study can be used as basic data for the global market for fashion cultural products, and can contribute to the inheritance and development of culture and tradition by maintaining Korea's uniqueness in the modern global era and increasing tourism revenue.

형상문법(Shape Grammar)을 활용한 패션디자인 연구 (A Study on Fashion Design Using Shape Grammar)

  • The term 'module' is an architectural term. It refers to the components or systems that make up a finished product. As industries develop, modules have become one of the methods that can create diverse and creative designs. Traditional modular fashion design mainly focused on structural methods, such as the combination, assembly, overlap, and arrangement of modules, as well as the tessellation of geometric shapes. However, in this paper, significance lies in exploring the application of shape grammar, a design method in architecture, to fashion design. It aims to search for ways to express three-dimensional designs, derive designs that can be worn and produced, and propose fashion design by applying the rules of shape grammar to the design process. Through this analysis, the paper aims to examine the methods and characteristics of shape grammar. The research method of this paper is as follows. First, by utilizing optimized programs for implementing the modules of shape grammar, it was possible to propose a method for producing modules of shape grammar and suggest module designs. Additionally, effective methods of representation using the Clo 3D program were explored in the design development process. Second, by applying shape grammar to the fashion design process, five-dimensional modular fashion designs were proposed, including a bolero, dress 1, dress 2, setup, and coat. The proposed modular fashion design using shape grammar in this paper provides a rational design process that differentiates itself from traditional modular fashion design. By formalizing the shapes between modules and creating rules, it overcomes the limitations of design that rely on the designer's intuition or sensibility and enables the development of more diverse modular fashion designs. This application of shape grammar in fashion design can provide an important direction in exploring a sustainable fashion industry.

  • This paper presents the development of a virtual robot design program. Robot design requires numerical software, robot solution software and multi-body dynamics software to complete several designs. However using a commercialized software implies some disadvantages, such as the waste of time and money it costs to learn how to use the software. We developed a virtual robot design program with which a user can design a robot with rapidity and reliability. The virtual robot design program is composed of robot kinematics module and robot dynamics module. The program is powerful software which may be used to solve various problems of a robot. The 3D animator and a 2D/3D graph of the program can analyze the design results into visual data. The virtual robot design program is expected to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the robot industry.

  • 3차 국가GIS 사업의 유비쿼터스 GIS 핵심기술 개발 부분을 담당하는 지능형국토정보기술혁신 사업이 지난 2006년 11월부터 2011년 8월까지 정부출연금 약 1317억원, 민간부담금 약 446억원 규모로 수행되고 있다. 지능형국토정보기술혁신사업은 '유비쿼터스 국토실현을 위한 공간정보 기술혁신'이라는 목표를 실현하기 위해 기술 분야별로 5개 핵심과제와 1개 총괄과제로 구성되어 있는 대규모 R&D사업이다. 본 사업에서는 연구성과물의 현장적용, 통합, 전시를 위해 공동실험장 구축을 계획하고 있으며, 향후 국가적인 차원에서 차세대 u-GIS 공동실험장 확보를 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형국토정보기술혁신사업 총괄과제에서 수행중인 공동실험장 구축 계획에 대한 기본적인 방향, 계획, 그리고 공동실험장에 적용될 연구개발 성과물의 특성에 대해 논하고자 한다.

  • This paper designs and implements of Item pool-Based Program using Visual Basic, a sort of self- study system. This paper is implemented the system which makes and remakes the test items using item-pool data with different method from an ordinary fixed form of evaluation. This system helps teachers to make a various test type of items by searching data through the item-pool and accounting it to the test items. This system will also improve the learner's understanding of the problems and desire for self-solving a problem.

전통적 요소를 활용한 중·고등학교 방과후 프로그램 개발 및 적용: 포장디자인 내용을 중심으로 (Development and Applications of Secondary School After-School Programs Using Korean Traditional Elements: Focusing on Gift Wrapping Designs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중·고등학생의 전통문화에 대한 관심을 고조하고 긍정적 인식을 높여주기 위해 전통요소를 활용한 가정과 방과후 선물포장 디자인 프로그램을 개발하는데 있다. 보다 효율적인 학습을 위하여 수공노작을 활용한 체험학습 위주의 프로그램을 구성하였다. 연구는 분석, 개발, 평가의 과정을 거쳤다. 분석의 단계에서는 전통미를 표현하는 핵심요소를 파악하기 위해 2009와 2015 개정 교육과정의 기술·가정 교과서, 백화점 매장에서 전통포장 디자이너로 근무하는 전문가의 인터뷰와 판매하는 작품, 선물포장 디자인 협회의 출판물과 블로그의 작품을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 전통선물 포장디자인에서 전통미를 표현하는 핵심요소는 전통적 상징 문양, 색채, 장식, 소품을 현대적인 재료를 함께 이용해 구현하는 데 있었다. 추출한 핵심 요소를 바탕으로 16주, 32차시의 방과후 프로그램을 개발하여 전문가 3인과 현장교육전문가 1인의 자문을 통해 개발한 프로그램의 우수성을 검증받았다. 개발한 프로그램은 인천 소재 G여자중학교의 57명의 학생들에게 적용한 후 설문조사 참여와 소감문을 작성하도록 요청하였다. 그 결과 학생들의 전통에 대한 관심과 인식이 긍정적으로 변화하였음을 확인하였다. 향후 다양한 전통문화 체험 프로그램을 통해 청소년들이 우리 고유의 전통문화를 일상에서 더욱 자주 접할 수 있는 여건을 마련한다면 우리 전통문화의 정체성을 더욱 창조적으로 발전시켜 나갈 수 있는 실질적 계기가 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

기업의 이미지 전략에 따른 근무복 디자인 개발 연구 - D 기업사레를 중심으로 - (A Case Study on Working Clothes Design Development - focused on D Enterprise -)

  • This study is largely aimed at presenting ways to improve the working clothes and help companies create more positive images by suggesting designs of the clothes, which take into accounts the corporate image, symbolism, function and aesthetic appreciation through introduction of companies' CIP. And, it is significant to propose working clothes development condition and process with introduction of companies' CIP(Corporate Identity Program : work that systematize and simplify visually images which companies or public bodies have) A way of this study was made up with working clothes design development process which a student planned. First of all, this study looked into Company D's Corporate Identity Program(CIP) to develop the design that corresponds with the characteristics of the company's favorite design, working environment and demands of the employees. And, then, the study conducted a survey of 30 employees and intensive interviews with heads of four teams including the Safety Team, the Working Clothes Management Team and the General Affairs Team to find out the requirements of the clothes and the characteristics of the company. Based on them, the concrete image that the company pursues and the direction of design were set up through image positioning. In the end, three different concept designs were presented through image-mapping and the concrete design of each item was developed. A total of seven items including upper and lower garments (a jacket and trousers) for the spring-summer seasons, upper and lower garments (a jumper and trousers) for the winter season, cold-protecting vest and winter clothes (a coat and trousers) were presented in accordance with the three concepts. One of the concept designs, which was selected through evaluation by employees of Company D, was produced as a sample and then the final design was chosen after a discussion attended by the head of each team and representatives of the employees. Based on the aforementioned design planning, one design was selected from each of the three concept designs for production. And each of these was requested to special production enterprise and manufactured. Following the result of study, by looking into a case of a practical joint design project between a university and a company, this study suggested ideas for business to improve working clothes through the academic-industrial cooperation and presented conditions and process of design development. And, this study also aims to examine the feasibility of academic-industrial cooperation based on the cases in which enterprises and universities staged joint projects to develop working clothes.

한국 민화 화조화의 특성을 활용한 3D 디지털 패션 디자인 (Development of 3D Digital Fashion Design Using the Characteristics of the Flower and Bird Paintings in Korean Folk Paintings)

  • This study aimed to propose a fashion design development method using the external and internal characteristics of the flower and bird paintings in traditional Korean folk paintings. As a research method, external and internal characteristics of folk paintings were examined through previous studies and literature research, and folk painting patterns were developed into digital textile designs. Five 3D digital fashion designs were proposed using the CLO 3D program. The external characteristics of folk paintings were as follows: simplification and planarization of object representation, diversification of viewpoints, ignorance of perspective and symmetrical enumeration, strong colors and contrast effects, and the simultaneous representation of time. The internal characteristics of folk paintings were as follows: symbolic meaning, the beauty of free humor, modest aesthetics, complexity of reality and fantasy, and desire of shamanism. The results are as follows. Firstly, the flower and bird painting was a decorative painting style that emphasized decorative beauty and was suitable for developing fashion designs with Korean originality because of the symbolic and internal meanings. Simple layouts and bold free-spirited representations were effective ways to fill the screen with objects and gave the pattern a decorative effect. Secondly, developing a virtual clothing prototype based on digital design method using the external and internal characteristics of folk paintings and producing realistic fashion designs suggest the integrated use of science and technology, embodying modern fashion through the combination of digital fashion content and traditional cultural content. Thirdly, as a result of the development of 3D digital fashion designs, an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion design methods with virtual clothing can suggest a design development method that saves time and cost in the fashion design process while considering the environment.

전산해석을 통한 PEMFC 평행 유로에서 Baffle에 의한 출력특성 분석 (Study on Power Characteristics in the PEMFC Parallel Channel with Baffles through Numerical Analysis)

  • 고분자 분리막 연료전지의 성능향상을 위해 분리판 유로설계연구는 필요하다. PEMFC의 성능향상에 대한, 강제대류를 이용한 interdigitated 유로가 최근에 많이 연구되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 interdigitated 유로를 배플들이 있는 평행류 채널에 비슷하게 적용하였다. 상용 multiphysics program인 COMSOL을 이용하여 완전차단배플인 FBB가 있는 평행류 채널에 관해 전산해석을 수행하였고 3가지 변인들(배플 위치, 유체 방향, 유체 속도)이 사용 되었다. 각각 변인들의 출력은 최대출력의 80%를 고려한 0.5V에서의 결과이다. 최종적으로, 실험설계법 중 완전요인실험법을 바탕으로 여러 수준을 갖는 각 실험인자로부터 결론을 도출하였다. 실험인자들의 주효과와 상호작용 분석은 출력을 향상시키는데 가장 영향을 주는 인자를 찾는데 유용하였다.

Optimum design of prestressed concrete beams by a modified grid search method

  • A computer program has been developed for the optimum design of prestressed concrete beams under flexure. Optimum values of prestressing force, tendon configuration, and cross-sectional dimensions are determined subject to constraints on the design variables and stresses. 28 constraints have been used including flexural stresses, cover requirement, the aspect ratios for top and bottom flanges and web part of a beam and ultimate moment. The objective function contains cost of concrete, prestressing force and formwork. Using this function, it is possible to obtain minimum cost design, minimum weight or cross-sectional area of concrete design and minimum prestressing force design. Besides the idealized I-shaped cross-section, which is widely used in literature, a general I-shaped cross-section with eight geometrical design variables are used here. Four examples, one of which is available in the literature and the others are modified form of it, have been solved for minimum cost and minimum cross-sectional area designs and the results are compared. The computer program, which employs modified grid search optimization method, can assist a designer in producing efficient designs rapidly and easily. Considerable savings in computational work are thus made possible.
