The Effect of Partnership Formation Factors on Partnership Outcomes in Textile Industries in Daegu and Gyeongbuk (대구·경북지역 섬유업체의 파트너십 형성요인이 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study focused on investigating factors of partnership formation for transactional enterprises on supply chain to form a transactional relationship centering around textile industry in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The study also investigated the effect of the factors of partnership formation for mutual cooperation among textile manufacturers in Daegu and Gyeongbuk on partnership outcomes, and finally provided basic information that help enterprises form efficient partnership relationships with related manufacturers. The sample of the study was manufacturers of yarn, dyeing, weaving, process and fabrics in Daegu and Gyeongbuk that are registered on Korea Federation of Textile Industries. The total of 81 responses were used for data analyses, and factor analyses, regression analyses, and ANOVA were utilized appling SPSS 14.0 Package. The results of the research were as follows: First, among partnership formation factors mutual confidence was highly related to presentation of exclusive technological information, efforts to keep relationships between enterprises, presentation of information, and transactions between reliable enterprises that were formed despite of any losses. Second, it was also important that enterprises exchange and communicate their business goals with partners by having common goals. Third, it was also important that problems and damages were informed to and were shared with transaction companies. If conflicts between enterprises occurred, they can be smoothly solved based on the partnership formation. Fourth, enterprises form partnerships with transaction companies by considering their operation abilities. Fifth, transactions with enterprises which are mutually reliable and have superior technology and information contributed a lot to economic outcome. Lastly, the study revealed that among partnership formation factors mutual confidence to transaction companies influenced outcome of mutual confidence profit creation, outcome of technology & information efficiency were closely related to the ability to solve generated problem, and an important factor of the outcome of technology & information profit creation was communication.

The Impact of Distribution Competence on Customer Value Creation, Competitive Advantage and Performance of Retailers in Omni-channel: A Case in Vietnam

  • Purpose: Distribution competence plays a key role in supply chain management. A successful distribution system will bring high values and profit for company. Omni-channel is a modern type of distribution which is used by many companies to access customers more effectively. This research is about the influence of distribution competence on customer value creation, competitive advantage and business performance of retailers in omni-channel. Research design, data and methodology: Questionnaires were issued to 200 managers who have experiences in using an Omni-channel to provide consumer goods. PLS-SEM is used to check the relationship among these above factors in omni-channel in Vietnam context. Results: Distribution competence has positive direct effect on business performance. At the same time, it has positive indirect effect on business performance through the mediating role of customer value creation and competitive advantage. Moreover, the role of mediating variables make contribution to strengthen the relationship of distribution competence and business performance in omni-channel. Conclusions: Through distribution competence, retailers can get competitive advantage, create more values for customers and increase business performance in omni channel in Vietnam.

  • The goal of the company and profit maximization can be achieved by creating revenue or reducing costs. What can be done by the effort of the firm itself is possible through cost-reduction rather than through revenue-creation. Under this economic situation, one of the best way for cost-reduction is to reduce cost of logistics. But logistics costs of a firm is continually increased because of the various customer-satisfaction, competition. This study considers that logistics cost management system be able to apply business practice through to used only a merit of CVP(Cost - Volume Profit) analysis method for effective decision making. To conclude, this study depicts that logistics cost management according to used a merit of CVP analysis method can provide information useful for making strategy of logistics. In short, It is reduce to more costs of logistics investment than are necessary. and, I will expect a man who charge logistics to improvement, adaptation, and application.

Most of Digital Contents Creation Software made by foreign countries such as USA and Canadian film, game and animation Digital Contents Creation industry, this causes higher production cost and lower profit of studios and usage of illegal copy of Digital Contents Creation Software as well. This thesis tried to present a solution to use Freeware Software in production process by researching and analyzing international and domestic software market and global trend of Freeware Software and present Freeware Software software in each production steps. This thesis include performance test of commercial render Freeware software.

A Potential Value of Noise Control in Construction Sites for Real Estate Developers

  • Since construction work is an indispensable part of daily lives, complaints of noise are unavoidable. Noise control in construction sites is normally known as a regulation by a government and self-motivated noise controls rarely occur. In this paper, a marketing strategy is proposed to provide a potential value of noise control for real estate developer. First, people's perception to construction noise was examined in means of collecting and analyzing media reports between 2005 to 2011. Then decibel test was done in order to test noise generated by different devices in a construction site in various distances. According to the theory of core competency, a conceptual model was raised to illustrate profit and loss situation of the real estate developers in the case they invest more in noise control. The construction noise is discussed that it will ruin people's perception to the company's brand image and reputation. Also, the investment in the creation of silent site is discussed that it will not only bring benefit to the brand image work but also have value of profit in the market.

  • This paper is to estimate the economic effect of benefits of the R&D and recreational fishing as well as input-output analysis in the Tae-an Trial Sea Farm Project(TTSFP). We use B/C model to indicate the effects of economic valuation. B/C analyses model consists of Benefit Cost Ratio(BCR), Net Present Value(NPV) and Internal Ration of Return(IRR). Using 5.5% discounting rates and the survey data, the sub-models show economically feasible in the all of analysis and analyzed the results as follows. NPV is 42,147 million won, BCR is 3.29 and IRR is 34.30%. This study attempts to apply input-output(I-O) analysis in connecting the economic effect of TTSFP. I-O model was constructed, focusing on three effects; the production-inducing effect, the value-added-inducing effect and employment-inducing effect. There are positive effects on economic value and job creation in Tae-an and Nation.

  • Social distancing caused a sharp industrial stagnation in the performance industry. Due to the continuous industrial downturn, as well as the livelihoods of many related workers, the outlook for the performance industry has reached a point where it is impossible to foresee the future. As a result of seeking various ways to recover from the continuing industrial stagnation, online concerts drew attention as the most effective alternative. Its development potential was highly evaluated as it could provide a performance culture to consumers while complying with social distancing. This study has value in terms of academic contribution as it slightly suggests a direction for the sustainable development of online performances presented as a breakthrough amid the social and industrial stagnation caused by the pandemic. therefore, this thesis describes the changes in the performance industry due to social distancing, and collects and analyzes examples of online performances by type to illuminate the value of online performances as an industry in the pandemic era and develops them. The possibility was reconsidered and the direction to be taken in the future was suggested. In each type of case, the cases focused on social value did not satisfy the economic value of profit creatiom, and even in the opposite case, if the profit creation was satisfied, the analysis result showed that the social value was not satisfied, and the planning intention of each performance was not satisfied. Accordingly, cases such as satisfying both profit creation and social value were also confirmed. Therefore, the direction for online performances was presented through the improvement of technologies and systems and the commercialization of existing platforms.

  • Value Creation issue for customers is emerging from the college education. Most colleges are facing to cope with over-supplied education facility problems against reducing population to apply to enter universities/colleges. The best way to overcome those problems might be to implement the Customer Satisfaction Management Strategy as if they were private firms for making profit. The main purpose in this study is to provide guidelines for CS strategy with a private college. It is focused on designing research plans and searching CS index. The process of this study is as follows; - Introduced the value creation strategy for customers with private colleges. - Proposed the CS management which is very important for enhancing competitive power - Evaluate various models to measure service quality and CSI for college service. - Provided some guidelines to research design of CS according to 6 customer categories. - Proposed some methodologies to apply a service quality measurement model. - Suggested a revised model from SERVPERF to adapt with college customers satisfaction. The result from this study showed that Customer Satisfaction Management would be the most important strategy to cope with confronting difficulties for private college and the revised model from SERVPERF would be an alternative solution. Further study is essential to assure the suggested model is valuable for private colleges because empirical test has not completed yet.

  • In this study, the case of OO corporation was based on to examine the business performance and method of OO corporation and the competitive advantage and success factors were considered. For the progress of this study, references and advanced researches related to entrepreneurship, authentic leadership, and organizational effectiveness, which were suggested as the core competence of non-profit organizations, were examined and textual information was secured through the homepage of the targeted organization and news articles. Lastly, data needed for the research was collected through an interview with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization. Through the process and analysis, the following findings were identified. First, the entrepreneurship of the CEO can apply as a core competence for the operation of the non-profit organization. Second, the proposition was derived that the roles of the CEO and leadership can apply as a key competence in the operation of the non-profit organization. This study implies that the many theories and strategies which were only targeted on companies can also be applied for the research of non-profit organizations. Moreover, concerning modern corporate management, strategic approach of non-profit organization characteristics like a sense of mission, fairness, and ethics can promote the creation of sustainable competitive advantage.

  • Business model innovation creates differentiated value to customers by transforming various elements of doing business. Rather than focusing singularly on either the external or internal environment, the business model innovation aims to identify the optimal combination of internal resources, competence, and the external factors, such as customer's needs and new opportunity. However, due to lack of clear definition of business model innovation, and inability to generate company's core business model, business model innovation has been difficult for companies to lead next growth. This paper reviews existing definitions of business model innovation and explore existing types of business model innovation and timing of business model innovation through two case studies. Concept of business model innovation which we identify, is composed of value proposition, value creation through value chains and networks, and profit model innovation. Finally, we demonstrates that already successful businesses can also create new values through business model innovation and adaptive advantage, even in a rapidly changing market environment.
