신규치과위생사의 조직사회화에 미치는 영향 (Factors influencing organizational socialization in new dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: This study investigated the factors influencing organizational socialization of new dental hygienists and provides basic data for successful organizational socialization. Methods: Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from 199 new dental hygienists of dental clinic and hospital between June and September 2018. Data analysis using SPSS 22.0 included Independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe post-hoc test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The new dental hygienists' professional self-concept, interpersonal ability, and organizational socialization value were $3.27{\pm}0.50$, $3.55{\pm}0.45$, and $3.03{\pm}0.37$, respectively. There were significant positive correlations between professional self-concepts, interpersonal relations, and organizational socialization. A positive correlation was found between professional self-concept and interpersonal relations. Factors affecting organizational socialization of new dental hygienists included the strength of work, interpersonal relations, and professional self-concept. Professional self-concept was the most influential factor leading to 54.7% of the variance in organizational socialization. Conclusions: Therefore, to improve the organizational socialization of new dental hygienists and reduce the turnover rate, it is necessary to develop and implement programs promoting professional self-concept and interpersonal relations.

병원간호사의 조직몰입과 이직의도의 영향요인: 개인-환경 적합성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Factors Affecting Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention of Hospital Nurses: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Person-environment Fit)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the factors affecting organizational commitment and turnover intention of hospital nurses. Empirical analysis on the mediating effect of the person-environment fit of organizational commitment and turnover intention and factors affecting this relationship were also examined. Methods: Participants were nurses working in 4 university hospitals in Seoul or Busan. Data were collected between July 27 and Aug. 10, 2012 and for the final analysis, 393 data sets were used. The fitness of models were tested using AMOS 19.0. Results: The fitness of the modified model showed high compatibility with the empirical data. In the modified model, organizational climate, professional self-concepts and person-organization fit were found to have significant effects on hospital nurses' organizational commitment. Professional self-concepts, personality, person-organization fit and person-job fit significantly affected hospital nurses' turnover intention. There was the mediating effect of person-organization fit between organizational commitment and turnover intention and factors affecting the relationship. But person-job fit was not found to have a mediating effect. Organizational commitment accounted for 49.8% and turnover intention for 39.9% of covariance in these factors. Conclusion: Nursing strategy for enhancing professional self-concepts and person-organizational fit should be planned by nursing managers.

간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념과 셀프리더십이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Professional Self-concept and Self-leadership on Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done in order to identify nursing students' professional self-concept, self-leadership and clinical competence and to analyze the correlation among the variables and the factors influencing clinical competence. Methods: The research participants were 294 senior nursing students in the nursing departments of 3 universities located in Jeollabuk-do. The students had completed 3 semesters of clinical practice. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple Regression. Results: Participants' scores for professional self-concept, self-leadership, clinical competence were $2.78{\pm}0.36$, $3.63{\pm}0.47$, $3.80{\pm}0.40$ respectively. Professional self-concept, self-leadership and clinical competence had positive correlations. Factors influencing nursing students' clinical competence included professional self-concepts in professional practice, self-expectations in self-leadership, constructive thinking, self-compensation and self-criticism in that order, and these variables explained 48%of the variance in clinical competence. Conclusion: Based on these results, it is important to develop and apply educational programs to increase professional self-concept and self-leadership in order to improve nursing students' clinical competence.

임상간호사의 전문직 자아개념, 자기효능감과 직무만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Professional Self-Concept, Self-Efficacy and Job Satisfaction in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of professional self-concept and self-efficacy on job satisfaction and to identify the relationship among them in clinical nurses. Methods: The subjects were nurses who were working for three general hospitals in Seoul and Gangwon province for two month starting in July 2007. Three questionnaires were used. One was job satisfaction and the others were professional self-concept and self-efficacy. The data were analyzed by SPSS/PC ver 12.0. Results: The mean score of job satisfaction was 2.99 (range: 1-5). The mean score of professional self-concept and self-efficacy were 2.71(range: 1-4) and 3.49(range: 1-5), respectively. Differences of job satisfaction were significantly related to differences in age, marital status, level of education, clinical career, annual salary, and shift pattern. With respect to job satisfaction, the pearson correlation coefficients were .43 for professional self-concept and .29 for self-efficacy. The multiple regression revealed that the significant predictor of job satisfaction was professional self-concept. Conclusion: This study showed that a strong professional self-concept improves job satisfaction, so professional self-concept improvement programs should be developed to improve job satisfaction and to improve the quality of nursing.

보건행정학 전공학생의 임상실습 만족도와 전문직 자아개념 간의 융합적 접근 (Convergence Approaches between Clinical Practice Satisfaction and Professional Self Concepts of Health Administration Students)

  • 본 연구는 보건행정학 전공학생의 임상실습 만족도와 전문직 자아개념 간의의 정도를 파악하고 관련성을 알아보고자 하였다. 전국에 소재한 10개 대학의 학생들을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지 250부를 SPSS Ver.24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 연구 결과, 보건행정학 전공학생의 임상실습 만족도와 전문직 자아개념 수준은 평균 이상인 것으로 나타났다. 임상실습 만족도와 전문직 자아개념의 세부 영역에서는 모두 양의 상관성을 보였으며, 임상실습 만족도에 가장 유의한 영향을 주는 변수는 전문직 자아개념 세부 영역 중 전문직 실무이다. 따라서 보건행정학 전공학생들의 임상실습 만족도와 전문직 자아개념을 높이기 위해서는 실습 전 충분한 실습지의 점검과 사전실습 지도교수와의 상담, 그리고 이에 맞는 임상실습 프로그램 개발과 임상실습 기관과의 상호 협력체계 방안 모색도 필요하다.

병원 간호사의 동료간 돌봄-배려행위, 전문직 자아개념, 재직의도의 관계 (The Relation of Peer Group Caring Interaction, Professional Self-concept, and Nurses' Retention)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the relation of peer group caring interaction, Professional self-concept, and Nurses' Retention. The subjects of this study are 133 nurses who have worked for more than three months at five general hospitals with more than 300 beds in S city. As a result of the study, nurses' retenstion was higher than those of under 25 years of age between 30 and 35(F=3.313, p=.039).The professional self-concept of hospital nurses has been identified as an influence factor of intent to serve. Professional self-concepts have been shown to be better with higher peer-care and consideration(r=.397, P=.004). The peer group caring interaction behavior can occur not only between colleagues but also between managers. Therefore, it is necessary to proceed with the manager's group caring interaction as a follow-up study.

  • Professional self-determination of the individual is a complex and lengthy process of finding and realizing yourself in the profession. The main goal of professional self-determination is clarified. The basic concepts of readiness for professional self-determination of future specialists in the modern information society are revealed. The following approaches to the consideration of the concept of readiness are defined: functional-psychological, personal, activity-based. Based on the components of readiness identified by the researchers, it can be assumed that the structure of professional self-determination of the future specialist contains motivational, cognitive and activity components. Self-determination is defined as a multidimensional process that can be considered from different points of view: as a series of tasks, that society sets for the emerging individual, and which the individual must solve in a certain period. As a process of step-by-step decision-making, with the help of which the individual forms a balance between his desires and inclinations, on the one hand, and the needs of society, on the other; as a process of forming an individual lifestyle, part of which is professional activity. A number of tasks of professional self-determination of a future specialist in the information society are formulated. Diagnostic practices for determining the degree of readiness of future specialists for future professional success are characterized. Practices are developed as a basis for creating an individually oriented correctional and development program to promote the formation of future specialists' focus on future professional success. Their task is to ensure control over the dynamics of this process, assess the effectiveness of this career guidance work. Practices are aimed at identifying the degree of thorough knowledge of the conditions for achieving professional success in the chosen field of activity among future specialists.

경력단절 후 재취업한 간호사의 전문직 자아개념, 자아탄력성, 직무 스트레스가 업무수행능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Professional Self-concept, Ego-resilience, and Job Stress on Job Performance of Nurses who are Reemployed after Career Interruption)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the influence of professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and job stress on job performance in reemployed nurses after career interruption. Methods: The participants were 207 nurses who worked at hospitals with more than 100 beds located in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces. The nurses had experienced a career interruption of at least one year, and had less than five years of experience at the current workplace. The collected data were analyzed utilizing SPSS 24.0 program and using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The participants' job performance, professional self-concepts, ego-resilience, and job stress showed significant positive correlations. It was found that the professional self-concept, ego-resilience, and job stress had an effect on the participant's job performance in order, and explained 51.3% of variance in job performance. Conclusion: To improve the job performance of career disconnected nurses, it is necessary to reinforce job stress control, professional self-concept, and level of ego-resilience.

간호대학생의 임상실습 시 경험한 언어폭력, 학업스트레스 대처 및 우울이 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Verbal Violence in Clinical Practice, Academic Stress Coping, and Depression on Professional Self-concepts among Korean Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 임상실습 시 경험한 언어폭력, 감정반응, 학업스트레스 대처 및 우울이 전문직 자아개념에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위함이다. 자료 수집은 C시 소재의 4년제 종합대학에 재학 중인 3-4학년 간호대학생을 대상으로 2017년 10월 25일부터 11월 1일까지 자가 보고식 설문조사로 시행되었다. 연구결과, 임상실습 시 언어폭력을 경험한 적이 있는 대상자는 41.9%로, 언어폭력 경험 횟수는 1회 16.9%, 2회 15.5%, 3회 4.7% 순이었다. 언어폭력 가해자는 환자 42.9%, 간호사 37.7%, 보호자 15.5% 순이었다. 대상자의 언어폭력 경험 시 감정반응은 언어폭력 경험 횟수 (r=.16, p=.049) 및 우울(r=.39, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 학업스트레스 대처는 우울과 음의상관관계가 있고(r=-.19, p=.021), 전문직 자아개념과는 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다(r=.46, p<.001). 우울은 전문직 자아개념과 음의 상관관계가 있었다(r=-.38, p<.001). 회귀분석 결과, 학업스트레스 대처(${\beta}=.40$, p<.001)와 우울(${\beta}=-.32$, p<.001)이 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났으며, 이들 변인은 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 대해 28%의 설명력을 가지고 있었다(F=12.37, p<.001). 그러므로 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념 향상을 위해, 학업스트레스 대처 수준을 높이고, 우울을 감소시킬 수 있는 전략 마련이 요구된다. 특히 임상실습 시 경험하는 우울을 조절하기 위해 이와 관련있는 언어폭력 후 감정반응에 대한 적절한 치료적 중재 적용이 도움이 될 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 2급응급구조사 교육생(이하 교육생)과 2급응급구조사의 전문직 자아개념과 응급환자 돌봄 지각 정도에 영향을 미치는 관련요인을 파악하고 전문직자아개념과 응급환자 돌봄 지각 정도와의 상관관계를 확인하여 교육생과 2급응급구조사의 전문직 자아개념과 응급환자 돌봄 지각의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 시도된 탐색적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 교육생과 2급응급구조사였다. 교육생은 K소방학교와 A소방학교에 입교하여 2급응급구조사 양성과정에 입교한 소방관들로 총 95명이었으며, 2급응급구조사는 전국에서 모인 소방관들로 2급응급구조사 심화과정을 수료하기 위해 C시 S대학 단기과정에 입교한 총 78명의 대상자였다. 결론적으로 전문직 자아개념과 응급환자 돌봄 지각은 주요한 상관관계가 있는 개념이며, 교육생이 2급응급구조사 과정을 수료하는 것만으로 전문직 자아개념과 응급환자 돌봄 지각이 완성되는 것이 아니라, 구급업무 수행 중 위의 두 개념들이 학습된다는 것을 의미하는 것이라 하겠다.
