국방품질경영시스템 인증 심사결과 분석을 통한 인증제도 개선 방안 (Improving Certification System by Analyzing Audit Result of the Defense Quality Management System)

  • Purpose: This article aims 1) to propose improvement directions of the certification by recognizing the quality management practices based on the analysis of the audit results of the military contractors and 2) to suggest some ideas on quality audit planning preparation to help the government quality assurance representatives. Methods: Based on the nonconformity report of the defense quality management system (DQMS) requirements, frequently occurring requirement components are found and summarized. Three hypothesis testings are executed to check whether the maturity levels of the quality management systems are influenced by the company size, weapon tye, and company type, regarding the nonconformity frequency as dependent variable. Results: Nonconformity occurs most frequently in the order of product realization, measurement analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and quality management system. Nonconformity reduces when the company size increases, for the guided weapons, and in the defense companies. Conclusion: Since small-sized companies are inferior to larger companies with respect to the DQMS maturity level, more support should be provided to these small-sized companies which produce military supplies.

  • Recently, various plastics are used for improvement of reliability and thermal stability of electronic goods. But, it is difficult to choose suitable balance of grade resin to each other product property. Selection of high efficiency resin is becoming inescapable circumstance according to change of reflow temperature of product and development of product following to lead free. Using a inexpensive and reasonable resin, that sustain a uniform performance of product quality. It is make a robust product and increase a company's competitive power. Hereupon, I introduce example that use ESPI methods of thermal deformation analysis of product using in our company product. I try to refer to a structural weak point detection of real time measurement of electronic parts instead of mechanical and chemical measurement of specimen type.

진료의 질관리에 대한 시론 -장애와 접근- (Quality Improvement in Patient Care Services : Obstacles and Approaches)

  • Patient care services are provided to individual patients in response to their health needs produced by illnesses or injuries. The services are often addressed to very serious conditions, and also they constitute the most expensive component of health care services. Therefore, the importance of quality is emphasized, but there are many indications that patient care quality is far from a satisfactory state in most of the countries. Based upon this observation, it is attempted to examine obstacles and approaches to quality improvement in patient care services. In doing so, following Taguchi's(1986) definition of product quality, quality of patient care services is conceived of as better when the less is the sociental loss attributalbe to variability of intended function and harmful side effects they emhibit after being delivered. Some distinguishing features of medical care sector pose difficulties in implementing effective quality improvement programs in patient care services. Nevertheless, newly proposed method of quality management, based on industrial quality management approach, seems to have a great deal of potential to effectively cope with such difficulties. This method, unlike the traditional approach to quality assurance, focuses on total organisational processes, not individuals, as the obproach to quality assurance, focuses on total organizational processes, not individuals, as the objects of quality improvement; variation, not comparison with standards, in quality measurement; and continuous improvement, not removing only bad quality care, as an ideal. Prerequisite to a successful use of any quality mangement method is motivating providers to improve quality. Conceivable approaches for such motivation are self-regulation, external controls and promotion of competition. Since these approaches are not mutually exclusive, they may be employed in an appropriate combination. In Korea, medical care providers are now functioning under the circumstances where they have little reason for making efforts to improve quality of their services. Once these circumstantial conditions are changed to exert pressures on providers to improve quality, the use of adequate quality management method becomes an issue. In this connection, much attention shoould be directed to the newly proposed method described above. In all these efforts for improving quality of patient care services, health insurance would be able to play a pivotal role. Poviders of medical care, buth indiciduals and organizations, are usually very responsive to the measures that affect their financing, and thus health insurance can be a strong instrument for motivationg providers to improve quality. Also, the insurance continuously acquires data on patient care, which could be processed to produce information required to effective quality control.

KS제품 품질우수성지수(KS-QEI)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index(KS-QEI))

  • The 'KS-QEI' is the quality evaluation model developed both by Korean Standard Association(KSA) and this research team, reflecting the characteristic of KS products' quality and the customers' demand factors. KS-QEI is a general index measuring and announcing KS products' quality excellency through the evaluation of its real user including customers and specialists. This index aimed to evaluate and announce the quality level of KS product annually which was the motivation of products' quality improvement to enterprises and guaranteed the products' reliability to customers. Ultimately, by competing in good faith among domestic enterprises and preparing foundation of continuous research and investment inducement, it was expected to improve the Korean industry's competitive power. This study was intended to develop improved KS-QEI by analysing 2006 research result, to which it had applied ameliorated and enlarged index in 2005. Especially, it established the weight by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), which led to estimate weight mathematically by comparing and evaluating the importance and difficulty by its index. And this paper analyzed the research result by using multi-variate statistical methods.

  • Continuous quality improvement has generally been recognized as an essential requirement for a company to stay in business. For this reason, Six Sigma plays an important role In reducing cost and development time of a product and achieving high quality products in a competitive market. The Six Sigma has proven that it is possible to achieve dramatic performance improvement for conducting business. However, several recognized Six Sigma companies have suffered the financial troubles, even if the Six Sigma should be successfully deployed in their business organizations. In this paper, the reason of this paradox is represented and discussed for a successful Six Sigma deployment, including next generation of Six Sigma.

We propose that should make a optimal plant design model for reducing field failure rate to assign by real data on different factors in plant system. Using this model, robust design of taguchi method used in this comprehensive method for reducing field failure rate in plant system.

This paper presents one of tools to reduce non qualified product on their operation line directly by modernized IT technology after analyzing and making the plan.

Initial process is single series system, which is constructed by k process units, and each process is considered priority.   • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to propose a specific and empirical continuous transaction strategy through service quality of improvement to small and medium Korean companies whose main business is B2B distribution and sale of general-purpose SW. Research design, data, and methodology - The research procedure is largely divided into two phases. In the first phase, the service quality, the customer satisfaction, and the continuous transaction research hypothesis and the verification are carried out. Experimental data were collected from 450 companies, CEO companies of SMEs innovation institutes, and 510 companies from medium and large enterprises. From September 15 to October 5, 2015, 215 questionnaires were used. And research hypothesis and test were conducted by SPSS SW Ver. 20. Results - The results of the study confirm that service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction and continuous transaction: as the detailed items for improving the service quality, 'responsiveness', 'assurance' and 'empathy' have been adopted. Therefore, there are critical factors of a company's survival through continuous transaction. Conclusions - Through this study, we confirmed that the survival of small businesses require continuous improvement in service quality. Among the factors improving service quality, empathy means service satisfaction of customers; so, it is necessary to continuously improve it by evaluating customer satisfaction. Responsiveness means rapid response to customer needs and reliability; it is necessary to enhance customer responsiveness by continuous job training and service training. Finally, assurance is the same as sales product or after service. This means that it is necessary to not only issue the "supply contract," but also improve the reliability of the sales product by securing the competence of the consulting professional. However, because the service quality measurement factors selected in this study are the measurement factors that are mainly applied to large companies or those in the service industries, it is important to consider the type of sales of software distribution companies.

  • 제조업에서는 품질관리가 잘 이루어지고 있는 가운데 우리나라 건설업에서는 1996년에 성수대교의 파괴 1997년의 삼풍 백화점의 분괴, 그리고 올해에 들어서도 지하철의 대 화제 등 건설업에 관련된 사건들이 많다. 건설업에 있어서는 품질 관리에 어려움이 많고 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않다. 이것은 제조업에서는 타 업체와 경쟁하기 때문이다. 품질이 안 좋으면 제품이 안 팔리기 때문에 업체는 열심히 품질을 개선하려고 한다. 그러나 주문생산 일품생산의 건설업에서는 제품의 단일성, 복잡성 등의 제반문제와 함께 주문생산 등, 주문을 받기만 하면 일정 규준에 합격만 하면 되기 때문에 더 이상 품질개선에 노력을 기울이지 않는다. 품질을 개선시키기 위해서는 기술적인 측면과, 문화적, 교육적인 측면에 크게 나눌 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 교육적인 측면 특히 평가방식에 대해서 연구하였다. 건설업에서는 어떤 평가가 이루어지고 있으면 품질개선을 위해서는 어떤 평가가 시행되어야 하는지 제지하였다. 지금까지는 건설업의 특수성, 복잡성 때문에 품질평가가 도입되어지지 않았으나, 한국의 건설업의 제품의 질을 높이려고 한다면 지어진 제품의 품질을 평가함으로써 경쟁시키는 것이 유익한 방법이다. 건설업체들이 자사제품의 품질을 개선하려고 수수로 노력을 하게 될 것이다.
