과학적 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한 과정중심평가 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Application of Process-focused Assessment for Improving Scientific Communication Skills)

  • This study aimed to develop and apply the process-focused assessment, and verify the assessment's effectiveness for improving scientific communication skills in elementary science learning. To achieve the aims of this study, the unit "Action of Electricity" in elementary science text book for 5-6th students was selected, and then 13 process-focused assessments were developed to improve scientific communication skills. 119 elementary school students in 6th grade participated in this research. it was performed to compare between 60 students on the general assessment and 59 students on the process-focused assessment in the results of achievement levels on scientific concept and scientific communication skills. The results were as follows: First, this study showed that process-focused assessment had higher educational effectiveness in specific area of scientific communication skills than the general assessment. Second, the process-focused assessment can help to form students' scientific concepts as the general assessment. Furthermore, the process-focused assessment group was more effective at reducing the non-scientific concept than the general assessment.

  • The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum had newly introduced the term 'process-focused assessment'. The official document, however, did not offer an explicit definition of the new term, but only by virtue of narrative. This has encouraged practitioners and researchers to figure out themselves what it is and how it differs from those in use, formative assessment and performance assessment in particular, in use. In consequence, many versions of interpretation, all of which are not necessarily consistent, have been developed and implemented in schools, This, in turn, still has created a chaotic situation carrying out the process-focused assessment. This study attempted to make the meaning of the process-focused assessment more explicit by conducting a comprehensive review of the related literature, for implementing it in its intended way.

초등 과학과 과정중심 평가문항 예시 자료의 특징 (Characteristics of Process-Focused Assessment Examples in Elementary School Science Education)

  • 이 연구에서는 과정중심평가의 특징이 배포된 과학과 과정중심평가 예시 문항 자료들에서 어떻게 구현되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 선행연구 리뷰를 통해 과정중심평가의 특징에 대한 분석 관점을 6가지로 추출하였다. 그 분석틀을 이용하여 시도 교육청 및 교육과정평가원에서 개발한 과정중심평가 장학자료의 초등 과학과 평가문항이 과정중심평가의 특징을 어떤 방법으로 반영하고 있는지 기술하였다. 연구 결과, 과정중심 평가의 특징은 초등 과학과 평가 문항 예시 자료들에 형식적으로 반영되어 있는 경우가 많았고, 과정중심 평가의 특징이 초등 과학과 평가 문항에 두드러지게 나타나지 않는 경우도 있었다. 개발된 예시문항들은 기존 과학과 수행평가 문항의 형태와 동일한 유형, 서·논술형 유형, 실험관찰과 유사한 유형으로 구분되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the assessment tools using graphing calculators for the assessment of the mathematical process which was emphasized in 2009 reformed mathematics curriculum. In this paper, we presented three sample calculator-based test items for the assessment of students' mathematical process abilities and scoring rubrics for the paper and pencil assessment and assessment based on observation on each item. In order to improve mathematics teachers' understanding of the assessment tools using graphing calculators and to show the procedures of assessment using technological devices, we also drew up assessment guidelines. We hope the results of the study contribute to the promotion of assessment environment encouraging the use of graphing calculators in assessments.

  • Recently, advanced countries assessment the risk of fire to prevent large-scale damage to high-rise buildings, In addition, performance-Based design, which is a fire risk assessment, is being conducted in Korea to prevent massive damage to high-rise buildings. However, unlike advanced countries, fire risk assessment in Korea is subject to fire risk assessment only for objects subject to consent from fire-fighting facilities such as building permits, When building engineers and fire-fighting engineers assessment the risk of fire, It has always been discussed because the results vary depending on which part of the evaluation is focused between economic feasibility and safety. Therefore, in this study, we would like to propose a fire risk assessment process suitable for domestic conditions by comparing the process of performance-based design, which is a domestic fire risk assessment, and the process of Iso/TC 16732 which is an overseas fire risk assessment.

공정기반 산업의 프로세스 인프라 역량 평가 방법 제안 및 적용 (Development of a Process Capability Assessment Method for Process-based Industries)

  • Recently, as organizational systems have become larger and more complicated, the evaluation for their efficiency and effectiveness has become more difficult but important. It is essential to understand the current strength and weakness of the organizational process. It can be a starting point for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the organizational systems, because the quality of system outputs depend greatly on the capability of system process. Particularly in such process-based industries as semiconductor, energy or software industries, an assessment of process capability is more highlighted to gain knowledge of the expected quality and reliability of system outputs. As a result, much attention has been given to the issues of process capability assessment in the process-based industries. However, most of the previous research in those industries is based on case studies, a more generalized method for process capability assessment is in need for help more companies improve their processes. Therefore, this study aims to propose a process capability assessment method and apply the proposed method to an energy company. This research argues that the process capability is composed of individual and organizational capabilities of the process. Then, the concept of Capability Maturity Model Integration, which was initially suggested to evaluate the software development process, was introduced to develop the assessment tools and process. Finally, the proposed method was applied to a Korean company in the energy industry sector to verify its utility. The research outputs are expected to help more firms assess their process capability and ultimately improve the process.

SPICE 유지보수 프로세스 심사 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Assessment System for SPICE Maintenance Process)

  • 소프트웨어에 관련된 문제들을 프로세스 심사를 통하여 해결하고자 하는 노력이 확산되고 그 표준으로 IS0/1EC 15504(SPICE)가개발되었다. 이 논문에서는 SPICE에 근거한 프로세스 심사를 한국 SPICE 위원회의 심사운영 절차에 맞게 자동화 심사 도구로 설계하고 구현했다. 설계근거 문서는 ISO/[EC 15504의 표준문서와 SPICE 한국 위원회의 심사운영규정 그리고 적용사례 분석 논문을 기준으로 했으며 심사 대상 프로세스를 (ENG2)로 한정했다. 제안된 심사 시스템은 심사의 전 과정을 지원하고 각 심사단계의 목표와 결과물을 제시해 주며, 심사 결과물은 화면상에서 직접 작성되고 저장된다. 또한 등급 결정 시에는 저장된 모든 자료와 문서를 검색하여 참조함으로 심사의 신뢰성을 높이도록 설계했다. 예비심사 7단계와 현장심사 9단계의 모든 화면을 표준화시켜 친근감을 높였고, 표준 문서의 세부 내용과 심사 대상 프로세스의 목적, 성공적 구현결과 그리고 기본활동 및 입출력 산출물이 무엇인지 확인할 수 있도록 했다. 또한 달성도 입력과 동시에 자동으로 등급이 계산되어 그래픽 처리되어 나타난다. 제안된 심사 지원 시스템은 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스의 객관적인 심사와, 심사 프로세스의 정형화와 자동화를 통한 심사 비용의 절감 그리고 소프트웨어 개발 조직의 능력 판정과 자체 프로세스의 개선을 위한 프로세스 심사의 활성화에 기여할 것이다.

SPA 심사원 능력과 효율성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Assessor's Competence and Efficiency of Software Process Assessment)

  • In this study, we verify the relationship, which is presented by ISO/IEC 15504, between the assessor's competence and the efficiency of assessment. The ISO standard has been developed by many formal trial experiences for the software process assessment. The software process assessment determines the process capability, and makes the software process improvement possible in the development cycle. In the field assessment, third-party and team-based assessments are generally recommended. Therefore assessors' competences are essential to achieve the effectiveness and the efficiency of assessment. Survey data are collected from the third-party process assessment of a real IT industry, and the analysis is done by a causal modelling technique - PLS. Some findings are as follows. Depending on assessors' SE experiences, effects of the assessor's competence are existed, and their standard knowledge and assessment skill are effected each other. And the efficiency of assessment depends on the assessor's competence. In addition, the power analysis is presented and future research is suggested, because of many limitations of this study.

과정 중심 평가의 실행을 위한 방향 탐색 (Exploration of the Direction for the Practice of Process-Focused Assessment)

  • 수학교육의 변화를 이끌 수 있는 방안으로서 평가의 개혁은 최근 과정 중심 평가라는 개념으로 등장하고 있다. 과정 중심 평가는 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 지향하는 것이며 정책적으로도 추진되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 아직 개념화가 명확하게 되지 않은 과정 중심 평가의 의미와 그 실행 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 평가에 대한 내용을 고찰하고, 최신 교육 평가 이론과 연구를 바탕으로 과정 중심 평가의 의미를 탐색하였다. 그리고 과정 중심 평가가 이루어져야 할 조건 등을 탐색하여 그 실행 방안을 모델로 제안하였다. 본 연구는 수학 수업 현장에서 과정 중심 평가를 실천하고 구체적인 방안을 모색하는 데 기초 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.
