In cloud storages, as security of stored files and privacy of users become regarded as important concerns, secure cloud storages have been proposed, where stored files are encrypted with file owner's password and even the cloud service provider can not open the file contents. However, if the file owner forgets one's password, one can no longer access the file. To solve this problem, we propose a scheme for changing password for the secure cloud based on proxy re-encryption, which make the file owner enable to change password even when one forgets it. With the proposed scheme, only the file owner can change the password and re-encrypt the files securely because other user and even the service provider can not see the file contents.

When a real-time data transfer is not possible between a reader and a back-end server in the mobile environment, the reader should support a capability to search a certain tag without communicating with a back-end server. Some recent papers related to the mobile reader-based tag search protocol have addressed privacy concerns for the reader and the tags. However, to our best knowledge, there are no papers addressing the problem arising from reusing tag lists existed in the mobile reader. In other words, there arise a problem that a mobile reader which has lost an right to access to a specific tag is able to search that tag by reusing a tag list for searching a particular tag. If mobile reader having an unauthorized tag list, the mobile reader can reuse a particular tag list. Our protocol provides the enhanced secure tag lists preventing the reuse of the tag lists and an efficient tag search protocol based on dynamic identity in the mobile reader-based RFID environments.

Among artificial intelligence convergence technologies, Chatbot is an artificial intelligence-based interactive system and refers to a system that can provide interaction with humans. Chatbots are being re-examined as chatbots develop into NLP, NLU, and NLG. However, artificial intelligence chatbots can provide biased information based on learned data and cause serious damage such as privacy infringement and cybersecurity concerns, and it is essential to understand artificial intelligence technology and foster AI literacy. With the continued evolution and universalization of artificial intelligence, AI Literacy will also expand its scope and include new areas. This study is meaningful in raising awareness of artificial intelligence technology and proposing the use of human respect technology that is not buried in technology by cultivating human AI literacy capabilities.

The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) into our daily lives has grown rapidly. It's been integrated to our homes, cars, and cities, increasing the intelligence of devices involved in communications. Enormous amount of data is exchanged over smart devices through the internet, which raises security concerns in regards of privacy evasion. This paper is focused on the forensics and intrusion detection on one of the most common protocols in IoT environments, especially smart home environments, which is the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. The paper covers general IoT infrastructure, MQTT protocol and attacks conducted on it, and multiple network forensics frameworks in smart homes. Furthermore, a machine learning model is developed and tested to detect several types of attacks in an IoT network. A forensics tool (MQTTracker) is proposed to contribute to the investigation of MQTT protocol in order to provide a safer technological future in the warmth of people's homes. The MQTT-IOT-IDS2020 dataset is used to train the machine learning model. In addition, different attack detection algorithms are compared to ensure the suitable algorithm is chosen to perform accurate classification of attacks within MQTT traffic.

The emergence of Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer (ChatGPT), a chatbot developed by OpenAI, has garnered interest in the application of generative artificial intelligence (AI) models in the medical field. This review summarizes different generative AI models and their potential applications in the field of medicine and explores the evolving landscape of Generative Adversarial Networks and diffusion models since the introduction of generative AI models. These models have made valuable contributions to the field of radiology. Furthermore, this review also explores the significance of synthetic data in addressing privacy concerns and augmenting data diversity and quality within the medical domain, in addition to emphasizing the role of inversion in the investigation of generative models and outlining an approach to replicate this process. We provide an overview of Large Language Models, such as GPTs and bidirectional encoder representations (BERTs), that focus on prominent representatives and discuss recent initiatives involving language-vision models in radiology, including innovative large language and vision assistant for biomedicine (LLaVa-Med), to illustrate their practical application. This comprehensive review offers insights into the wide-ranging applications of generative AI models in clinical research and emphasizes their transformative potential.
This study investigated the effects of negative emotions like Personal Information Concern and Ad Irritation, arising from the growth of Personalized Advertising, on Purchase Intention. It revealed that while Personal Information Concern significantly impacts Ad Irritation and Brand Avoidance, it doesn't affect Ad Avoidance. Ad Irritation influences Ad Avoidance but not Brand Avoidance or Purchase Intention. Both Ad Avoidance and Brand Avoidance negatively impact Purchase Intention. The study also found that Ad Irritation mediates the relationship between Personal Information Concern and Ad Avoidance, but not between Personal Information Concern and Brand Avoidance. Furthermore, Ad Avoidance mediates between Ad Irritation and Purchase Intention, unlike Brand Avoidance. These outcomes highlight the need for further research, particularly considering the MZ Generation's traits.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is set to transform patient care by enhancing data collection, analysis, and management through medical sensors and wearable devices. However, the convergence of IoT device vulnerabilities and the sensitivity of healthcare data raises significant data integrity and privacy concerns. In response, this research introduces the Smart-Coord system, a practical and affordable solution for securing healthcare IoT. Smart-Coord leverages blockchain technology and coordinate-based access management to fortify healthcare IoT. It employs IPFS for immutable data storage and intelligent Solidity Ethereum contracts for data integrity and confidentiality, creating a hierarchical, AES-CBC-secured data transmission protocol from IoT devices to blockchain repositories. Our technique uses a unique coordinate system to embed confidentiality and integrity regulations into a single access control model, dictating data access and transfer based on subject-object pairings in a coordinate plane. This dual enforcement technique governs and secures the flow of healthcare IoT information. With its implementation on the Matic network, the Smart-Coord system's computational efficiency and cost-effectiveness are unparalleled. Smart-Coord boasts significantly lower transaction costs and data operation processing times than other blockchain networks, making it a practical and affordable solution. Smart-Coord holds the promise of enhancing IoT-based healthcare system security by managing sensitive health data in a scalable, efficient, and secure manner. The Smart-Coord framework heralds a new era in healthcare IoT adoption, expertly managing data integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility to ensure a secure, reliable digital environment for patient data management.
The advent of the Internet and related Web technologies has created an easily accessible link between a firm and its customers, and has provided opportunities to a firm to use information technology to support supplementary after-sale services associated with a product or service. It has been widely recognized that supplementary services are an important source of customer value and of competitive advantage as the characteristics of the product itself. Many of these supplementary services are information-based and need not be co-located with the product, so more and more companies are delivering these services electronically. Net-based customer service, which is defined as an Internet-based computerized information system that delivers services to a customer, therefore, is the core infrastructure for supplementary service provision. The importance of net-based customer service in delivering supplementary after-sale services associated with product has been well documented. The strategic advantages of well-implemented net-based customer service are enhanced customer loyalty and higher lock-in of customers, and a resulting reduction in competition and the consequent increase in profits. However, not all customers utilize such net-based customer service. The digital divide is the phenomenon in our society that captures the observation that not all customers have equal access to computers. Socioeconomic factors such as race, gender, and education level are strongly related to Internet accessibility and ability to use. This is due to the differences in the ability to bear the cost of a computer, and the differences in self-efficacy in the use of a technology, among other reasons. This concept, applied to e-commerce, has been called the "e-commerce divide." High Internet penetration is not eradicating the digital divide and e-commerce divide as one would hope. Besides, to accommodate personalized support, a customer must often provide personal information to the firm. This personal information includes not only name and address, but also preferences information and perhaps valuation information. However, many recent studies show that consumers may not be willing to share information about themselves due to concerns about privacy online. Due to the e-commerce divide, and due to privacy and security concerns of the customer for sharing personal information with firms, limited numbers of customers adopt net-based customer service. The limited level of customer adoption of net-based customer service affects the firm profits and the customers' welfare. We use a game-theoretic model in which we model the net-based customer service system as a mechanism to enhance customers' loyalty. We model a market entry scenario where a firm (the incumbent) uses the net-based customer service system in inducing loyalty in its customer base. The firm sells one product through the traditional retailing channels and at a price set for these channels. Another firm (the entrant) enters the market, and having observed the price of the incumbent firm (and after deducing the loyalty levels in the customer base), chooses its price. The profits of the firms and the surplus of the two customers segments (the segment that utilizes net-based customer service and the segment that does not) are analyzed in the Stackelberg leader-follower model of competition between the firms. We find that an increase in adoption of net-based customer service by the customer base is not always desirable for firms. With low effectiveness in enhancing customer loyalty, firms prefer a high level of customer adoption of net-based customer service, because an increase in adoption rate decreases competition and increases profits. A firm in an industry where net-based customer service is highly effective loyalty mechanism, on the other hand, prefers a low level of adoption by customers.
This study aimed to explore negative experiences of unwed mothers in interaction with medical professionals, government officials and nursery teachers who have negative stereotypes about the unwed mothers and to seek ways of improving awareness and attitudes of the professionals. Researchers conducted individual and focus groups interviews with 15 unwed mothers. The results showed that unwed mothers experienced the violation of their maternal and privacy rights and inhospitable services in the interaction with medical professionals. They also had similar experiences with government officials who often had overbearing and discriminatory attitudes toward these mothers, and hardly received useful information. Last, unwed mothers had deep concerns about possibilities and experiences of discrimination against their children by nursery teachers and other parents in day care centers. In conclusion, this study discussed ways of improving awareness and attitudes toward unwed mothers through various medias and supplementary educations.

In particular, the emergence of social media in the big data field has led to a rapid increase in the amount of unstructured data. In order to extract meaningful information from such unstructured data, interest in big data technology has increased in various fields. Big data is becoming a key resource in many areas. Big data's prospects for the future are positive, but concerns about data breaches and privacy are constantly being addressed. On this subject of big data, where positive and negative views coexist, the research of analyzing people's opinions currently lack. In this study, we compared the changes in peoples perception on big data based on unstructured data collected from the social media using a text mining. As a results, yearly keywords for domestic big data, declining positive opinions, and increasing negative opinions were observed. Based on these results, we could predict the flow of domestic big data.
