SNS 피로감 및 부정적 느낌이 SNS 중단의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of SNS Fatigue and Negative Emotions on SNS Discontinuance Intention)

  • Purpose Today, world-wide societies share their daily life and many communities exchange their information through the explosive developed SNS and the social media systems. However, many SNS fatigue related factors forced the discontinuance of SNS. This paper is aim to examine effect of SNS feature and negative emotion to figure out the reason of SNS discontinuance. This is verifying the effect of maintenance of SNS, security concern and psychological concern on SNS fatigue and the effect of upward/lateral comparison on negative emotion. Moreover, the effect of SNS fatigue and negative concern on the SNS discontinuance intention was examined. Design/methodology/approach This research used to the survey method to test its hypotheses and the survey population is Facebook SNS users. A software tool called AMOS 18 is used to analyze the structural equation model. Findings The results showed that maintenance of SNS, security concern and psychological concern had a positive effect on SNS fatigue respectively and upward/lateral comparison did on negative emotion. In addition, SNS fatigue and negative emotion had significant effect on discontinuance intention.

  • The main purpose of this study isto explore the potential of affective computing (AC) platforms in education through two phases ofresearch: Phase I - platform analysis and Phase II - classification of academic emotions. In Phase I, the results indicate that the existing affective analysis platforms can be largely classified into four types according to the emotion detecting methods: (a) facial expression-based platforms, (b) biometric-based platforms, (c) text/verbal tone-based platforms, and (c) mixed methods platforms. In Phase II, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the emotional experience that a learner encounters in online video-based learning in order to establish the basis for a new classification system of online learner's emotions. Overall, positive emotions were shown more frequently and longer than negative emotions. We categorized positive emotions into three groups based on the facial expression data: (a) confidence; (b) excitement, enjoyment, and pleasure; and (c) aspiration, enthusiasm, and expectation. The same method was used to categorize negative emotions into four groups: (a) fear and anxiety, (b) embarrassment and shame, (c) frustration and alienation, and (d) boredom. Drawn from the results, we proposed a new classification scheme that can be used to measure and analyze how learners in online learning environments experience various positive and negative emotions with the indicators of facial expressions.

어머니의 정서표현 및 자기자비가 유아의 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향: 유아 자기자비의 매개효과 (The Effects of Mothers' Emotional Expression and Self-compassion on Preschoolers' Emotion Regulation: The Mediating Role of Preschoolers' Self-compassion)

  • Objective: This study aimed to determine whether preschoolers' self-compassion mediates the effects of mothers' emotional expression and self-compassion on preschoolers' emotional regulation abilities in children aged 4 to 6 years. Methods: The study included 305 mothers residing in City J who were raising preschoolers aged 4 to 6. Data collected were analyzed for the significance of the mediating effects among the main variables using the GLM Mediation Model in the JAMM package of the Jamovi 2.3.16 statistical program. Results: Firstly, statistically significant positive and negative correlations were found among the main variables. Secondly, preschoolers' positive self-compassion was found to partially mediate the relationship between mothers' positive emotional expression and preschoolers' emotional regulation abilities. Furthermore, preschoolers' negative self-compassion partially mediated the relationship between mothers' negative emotional expressions and preschoolers' emotional regulation abilities. Conclusion/Implications: This study identified parental and child variables influencing preschoolers' emotional regulation abilities and discussed intervention strategies for education and counseling to enhance these abilities.

소셜커머스 환경에서 소비자들의 충동구매에 관한 연구: 플로우와 감정의 역할 (A Study on Customers' Impulsive Buying in Social Commerce Environment: The Role of Flow and Emotion)

  • Given to the prevalence of social commerce such as Groupon, Ticketmonster, and Coupang, it has become critical to understand customer purchasing behavior in social commerce environments. When consumers make purchasing decisions in social commerce, they often act impulsively. This is because social commerce is a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at local companies. However, the vast majority of social commerce research has viewed consumer decision-making as a rational process. This study develops a theoretical framework to investigate key drivers of customer's impulsive purchasing in social commerce. This study identifies flow, positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price as the key antecedents of impulsive purchasing. Data collected from 164 users who had prior purchasing experiences with social commerce were empirically tested against the research model using partial least squares analysis. The analysis results indicate that flow plays an important role in facilitating customers' impulsive purchasing in social commerce environments. Moreover, the findings show the exact roles of positive emotion, negative emotion, social commerce attractiveness, and discounted price on consumer's impulsive purchasing.

모피의류의 편익과 위험 지각이 구매의도에 미치는 영향과 소비자 감정의 다중 매개효과 (Effects of Benefits and Risk Perception on Purchase Intention for Fur Apparel: A Multiple Mediation Model of Consumer Emotions)

  • Fur apparel is a representative luxury item that displays wealth and social status; however, it is also recognized as an unethical product criticized for its animal maltreatment in the production process. Understanding consumer responses to an ambivalent object, such as fur apparel, is an important research topic both academically and practically. This study investigates the hierarchical effects of perceived benefits and risks of fur apparel on consumers' emotions and purchase intention by applying the ABC model of attitudes to identify the mediating effects of consumer emotions. An online survey was conducted on 390 female consumers that verified hypotheses through structural equation modeling and bootstrapping analysis using phantom variables. The initial results of the survey showed that the relationship between perceived conspicuous benefits and purchase intention towards fur apparel was partially mediated by positive emotion. Second, the relationship between perceived epistemic benefits and purchase intention was completely mediated by positive emotion. Third, the relationship between perceived ethical risk and purchase intention was completely mediated by positive and negative emotions. Fourth, perceived social risk did not affect the purchase intention of fur apparel significantly. The results support that cognitive beliefs about the subject have a significant positive effect on behavioral intentions through emotions as suggested in the ABC model of the attitude. This study provides an in-depth understanding of consumer responses to ambivalent objects by revealing the individual mediating effects of consumers' positive and negative emotions.

의료서비스에서 물리적 환경, 공정성, 지각된 대기시간이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Physical Environment, Perceived Justice and Perceived Waiting-Time on Repurchase Intension)

  • 본 연구는 의료서비스이용자의 편의성을 증대시키기 위하여 의료서비스접점에서 물리적 환경과 공정성, 그리고 지각된 대기시간이 매개변수인 서비스품질평가와 부정적 감정을 통하여 재이용의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 조사 분석하였다. 특히 의료서비스에서 물리적환경과 공정성이 부정적 감정에 어떠한 영향이 미치는지를 처음으로 확인하고자 시도하였다. 연구결과 의료서비스접점에서 첫째, 물리적환경요인은 서비스품질평가에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 부정적인 감정은 낮추는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공정성은 서비스품질평가나 부정적인 감정에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었으며, 셋째, 지각된 대기시간은 서비스품질을 낮추고 부정적 감정은 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 서비스품질은 재이용의도에 긍정적 영흥를 미치고 있으나, 부정적 감정은 재이용 의도에 영향을 미치지 않고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 의료서비스도 물리적환경의 중요성이 증가 하고, 대기시간의 단축노력이 필요하다. 또한 부정적 감정은 재이용의도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으나 의료서비스의 특수성에 따른 전환장벽이 해결될 경우 이탈가능성이 존재하고 있으므로 부정적 감정의 최소화를 위한 노력이 요구된다.

초등과학 영재학급 학생과 일반학급 학생의 과학 학습정서와 과학적 상상력 비교 (Comparison of Science Academic Emotion and Scientific Imagination of Students between a Science Gifted Class and a General Class in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze science academic emotion and scientific imagination of students between a science gifted class and a general class in elementary school. Samples of this study were composed of 212 fifth and sixth graders in Gyeonggi province. The results of this study were as follows. First, positive scientific academic emotion of students in a science gifted class was higher than that of general class. Second, boredom and laziness of negative scientific academic emotion were higher scores in general students, whereas, angry area was higher scores of students in a science gifted class. Third, scientific imagination of students in a science gifted class was higher than that of general class. Fourth, both groups had a positive correlation between scientific imagination and positive science academic emotion. Especially, interest area of positive scientific academic emotion in both of the two groups influenced scientific imagination.

지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략과 부적 정서의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Maladaptive Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies and Negative Affect on the Relationship between Perceived Stress and Smartphone Addiction)

  • 본 연구는 성인의 지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독과의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략과 부적 정서의 매개효과를 검증하고, 성인의 스마트폰 중독 상담을 위한 시사점을 찾아보기 위해 수행되었다. 성인 300명(남 146명, 여 154명)에게 지각된 스트레스척도, 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략척도, 부적 정서척도, 스마트폰 중독진단척도를 실시하였다. 주요 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다: 첫째, 지각된 스트레스는 스마트폰 중독에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독과의 관계에서 부적 정서는 매개효과를 나타냈다. 셋째, 지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독과의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 넷째, 지각된 스트레스와 스마트폰 중독 간의 관계에서 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략과 부적 정서의 이중매개효과는 유의미하였다. 연구결과를 기초로 성인의 스마트폰 중독 예방 및 상담과정에서 스트레스 관리 프로그램과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 수정을 통한 부적 정서의 완화 필요성이 논의되었다. 또한 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논하였다.

The Effect of Empathy induced by Positive Events on Subjective Value of Reward: Preliminary Study

  • Recent studies have focused on human empathic behavior regarding to physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects. Especially empathy is considered as a multidisciplinary study because of its wide application. However, majority of the studies have been focusing on empathy induced by negative emotion and physical pain. As a result, the purpose of this study, based on Loggia et al. (2008), is to investigate if empathy could be induced by positive events, and consequently if the positive empathy could increase subjective value of reward. According to the result of experiment which involved eight participants, we could confirm the inducement of empathy by positive events significantly; its power is not so strong though. However there was no interaction between empathy type (positive and no empathy) and whether the target received the reward or not. But if we would recruit more participants and additionally analyze correlation among trait/empathic state questionnaire, subjective ratings of the reward and emotion of the target, we suggest that this study would be valuable in that it could expand the empathy studies.

노년기 정서 경험의 변화와 주관적 안녕감: 종단 연구 분석 (The Changes of Emotion Experiences and Subjective Well-being in Old Age: An Analysis of Longitudinal Study)

  • 본 연구는 2003년부터 2년마다 실시되고 있는 종단연구 자료를 바탕으로 노년기의 정서 경험의 변화 특성을 확인하고 이러한 특성이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실시되었다. 2003년 기준으로 65세 이상인 노인 중 1차(2003년), 2차(2005년), 3차(2007년) 연구에 모두 참여한 노인 참가자 844명(남성 340명, 여성 504명, 평균 연령 71.59세)을 대상으로 연령 증가에 따른 정적 정서 경험과 부적 정서 경험의 변화를 확인하였다. 혼합설계 분산분석(mixed ANOVA)을 통해 분석한 결과, 연구 참여 노인들은 부적 정서보다 정적 정서를 더 많이 경험하는 정서최적화 특성을 나타냈다. 노년기에 부적 정서가 급격하게 증가하고 정적 정서가 급격하게 감소할 것이라는 일반적인 믿음과 달리, 점진적인 정적 정서와 부적 정서의 감소가 나타났다. 노년기 주관적 안녕감에 정서 경험이 미치는 영향을 확인한 결과, 학력이나 경제수준과 같은 인구통계학적 특성에 비해 정서 경험이 미치는 영향이 더 컸다. 그리고, 정적 정서를 더 많이 경험하고 부적 정서를 덜 경험하는 것이 주관적 안녕감 유지에 효과적이라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 노년기 삶에 있어서 정서적 삶의 중요성과 노년연구에서의 종단 연구의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.
